    Ramen Microwave Bowl
    Shannon H.

The microwave bowls are a full meal. Pretty tasty. Just heat up in the microwave for 4 minutes, no need to add water or anything. I'd buy again.

I love that this place is still close in location to me and still tasty with more bowl options! They moved from market city to south king Street across the library right next to stadium park. You can street park and pick up your to-go bowls, fast and easy. The price went up a little but I think they are a little bigger in portion size now still very tasty and the convenience of a microwavable bowl so I think it's still worth it! I got the sukiyaki udon which is the original one I always get (soup broth is soo yummy!) and the cold noodle which you can choose I believe from I think three different sauces. I always get the vinegat one. When I can't decide what to eat and if I remember this place or I want some udon/ramen and eat it in the comfort of my own home, this is the go to place!

These are so goood! They have a grab and go concept. They offer fundraisers. Over all they are easy to heat up and great to eat! I enjoy their spicy udon!

Mini pot togo... One of the creative changes covid has created as once they used to have a hotpot restaurant in Market City Shopping Center only closing the dine in portion during the pandemic having them forced to pivot to take out only didn't really interest me whatsoever. Fast forward to the Kaiser Farmers Market held on Tuesday nights marketing their "Micorwaveable Bowls" which is a fascinating idea you don't see around very much is brilliant. The soup portion is in a jelly consistency piling on the toppings bringing the vision of a mini hot pot and now to have their current brick and mortar location right on South King Street next to the Old Stadium Park you can pick up any of their items at your convenience. On this visit they had a special of "Tomato" ramen or udon and decided to give it a try along with the Maido House Shoyu udon for mom as she wasn't feeling well I though this bowl of hot soup with the load of veggies would be the perfect remedy. You're given a card to give you the ideal timeline to keep your bowl in the fridge which is two days max recommended and to crack open the lid a bit for ventilation and heat on high for about four minutes...we did that but since everything has been cooled down we did a couple more minutes after giving it a break from the first heat to get it that nice super hot throughout the dish. Very yummy and fresh it really is a great way to take home the comfort to enjoy at your leisure. Thank you!

Keto Bowl - heated 4 min in microwave

Really delicious soup and fresh ingredients. Shoyu is my favorite flavor broth. I always opt for the keto bowl and am never disappointed. It's just enough food to feel satiated, without feeling too full.

Our church had a fundraiser, We go try Nabeya Maido. It's quite different, picked it up from church, 8 bowls! Delivered to my cuz'ns house. Got home, tried it! read the instructions because it was our 1st time trying this "do not add water" microwave bowl meal. 5min in the micro... yes! Oishii! It's filling, it's perfect and hearty. Lots of veggies (yumm) Like the instructions say "do not add water". Enjoy

My single cousin who doesn't like to cook if he can help it likes this place. He's been picking up from here for several years. You buy a ready made hot pot type of bowl, take it home, microwave it and you have a hot meal. Multiple bowl choices on their website. Went to purchase gift cards for his Christmas present. Limited time special - for $50 you get six $10 gift cards. They are also at pop ups. Parking in the back so it's convenient.

My aunty and uncle purchased these bowls for our family through a fundraiser. We were excited because I think we saw them on the news or some type of local food show so we always wanted to try it out. The bowls are simple, just microwave and enjoy! Lots of food, definitely enough to make you full. My only issue is that the broth isn't as flavorful as I would've liked. We did add some of our own chili garlic oil which made it better. I seen some reviews mention sauces so maybe it needs that added to the side but it doesn't seem like it comes with the bowls, separate charge I would assume.

    Takeout shoyu bowl
    Edie S.

Love this place we found because we got sick and some kind friends gave these to us. They were SO good and perfect for Japanese comfort food. We got the shoyu broth and it came with a ton of vegetables and meat and meatballs over a big serving of noodles. We heated ours 4 minutes in the microwave and they were piping hot and delicious. Called ahead to reserve to make sure they'd have it the next time I got these since I brought them for my parents but added on bowls for us since they were so good. Free parking behind the building, friendly service inside!

    Delicious microwavable nabe ramen!

Hot pot is one of the things I miss most of pre-Covid times. Ok I probably say that about everything, but it really makes me sad to think about all the places that I loved hot potting at that aren't around or that I won't go to cause I just don't eat indoors yet. But I'm so happy that nabeyo maido has lasted and so brilliantly pivoted. Ive been so curious but haven't made it down to the restaurant during the pandemic, yet finally tried a microwavable bowl through a fundraiser, paying $12/bowl and $4 per bowl being donated to a small elementary school. What an amazing and generous idea! The restaurant's Instagram also shows the owner generously donating bowls to teachers in the community. Definitely a great small business that deserves our community support too!! I was super excited to try my bowls. They are stuffed with goodies, a choice of udon or ramen, topped with pork belly, peppery and moist chicken meatballs, won bok, kabocha, fresh mushrooms, garlic slices, and a super flavorful house broth. Everyone I shared them with raved about them. Super convenient, you microwave the bowl it comes in for 4 minutes and then it's ready to eat. I like my noodles a little under cooked so took them out after about three minutes and prefer my veggies well cooked so cooked them about another minute. I did add a dash of ponzu sauce though the light broth was tasty. I would definitely get this again and can't wait to try their other soup broths!

Not sure if it was lu ch time so they didn't schedule that much staff so our orders took very long time or just didn't come. Staff was also just standing at corners chilling instead of serving the diners. This time service got so much better when we came back for dinner. I could see there was more staff. I've eaten enough hot pot over the years to know exactly what this place is trying to be. The…read moreproblem is that it feels like nobody here cares enough to execute it. The first thing I noticed wasn't the broth. It wasn't the vegetables. It wasn't the meat. It was the cleanliness. Water was spilled across the table. The window ledges were dusty and dirty. The surfaces around our booth looked neglected. For a restaurant built around a communal dining experience where you're sitting there staring at the table and surroundings for an hour or two, details matter. Then came the service. Our server seemed irritated by the simple act of having customers. I asked for a watermelon juice that was listed on the menu and got a curt response that there was no more watermelon. Restaurants run out of things. That's not the issue. The issue was the attitude. I was there with my wife and our two young kids, ages 2 and 4. When you're dining with little ones, you notice very quickly whether a restaurant is welcoming families or merely tolerating them. This felt like the latter. The food itself was okay. That's almost the problem. The vegetables looked like they came straight from a grocery store produce section. The broth was fine. The ingredients were fine. Everything was technically acceptable, but nothing felt thoughtful or memorable. What frustrated me most was the gap between what this place could be and what it currently is. Hot pot is one of those meals where you're paying for more than ingredients. You're paying for comfort. Hospitality. Atmosphere. The feeling that someone actually cares about the experience. Instead, I found myself staring at dirty surfaces, wiping spilled water from the table and wondering why nobody seemed particularly interested in being there. There are too many great places to eat in Hawaii to spend time and money on an experience that feels this indifferent. I wanted to like it. I left disappointed.

If you come with a big appetite, you might spend more than you would at AYCE, but the meats and vegetables here are very high quality. The broths that we tried were all very tasty - the Chinese Sauerkraut Soup is very unique - definitely sour but not unpleasantly so. The spicy soups have a strong mala flavor that will make your tongue and lips numb, but be careful, the "Hale Medium Spicy Soup" is already pretty spicy, and the "Hale Spicy Soup" is very spicy! Everyone gets their own pot and soup here, so you can order to your own spice level. We got a half yard of the beef toro which was nice and fatty as well as a half yard of the beef shank which was much leaner. Ordering both gave a nice balance between the meats. The seafood and vegetable sets are also well thought out, but you can always order individual items if you don't want everything in the set. There is no sauce bar - your soup comes with a choice of dipping sauce instead. It's usually not too crowded and the service is friendly and efficient. You pick your broth and meats up front, then head to the refrigerators in back for the rest, which makes the whole meal feel more practical than theatrical. The room is no-frills, the service is solid without being especially warm, and the BYOB policy fits the place better than any design effort would have The draw is still the broth. The beef broth really does drink like pho broth, and the restaurant's own menu more or less admits that by calling it a favorite for pho lovers. The tom yum has real sharpness and stays lively through the meal. The meat selection is broader than the room suggests, with ribeye, short rib, lamb, pork belly, pork shoulder, tripe, and tendon all on the menu. The vegetable and noodle selection is also better than average: bok choy, choi sum, ong choy, watercress, taro, lotus root, bamboo shoot, enoki, king oyster, fresh saimin, udon, glass noodle, vermicelli, and pho noodle, among others What holds it at 4 stars is that the math can get a little awkward. It is not expensive plate by plate, but somehow the total often lands near all-you-can-eat territory, except without the same range. Although if you were to ask my wife, this a solid 5 star place. Still, that misses why people come here. This place feels built around broth first, not abundance for its own sake, and that makes it easier to forgive a sauce station that is merely fine and a service style that does the job without much flourish
