I've been to the Seattle one in the past and the only difference is that this one has limited food options. They do have some pastries, quiche and assortment of onigiris (chicken karage, spicy tuna, tuna Mayo, chicken soboro, etc). Comes with a sheet of seaweed which you hand wrap. I highly recommend the hojicha soft serve, absolutely delicious. Hojicha cold brew was basically iced tea, doesn't have any coffee and caffeine. Yuzu hojicha tea was okay, it's a interesting combo, the yuzu overpowered the hojicha and left more of a bitter aftertaste. They are famous for their desserts so I'll have to come back to try their parfaits and other goodies. Line wasn't long, only had 2-3 people in front of me. Not the kind of cafe you can quietly work, there is quite a bit of background noise with people chatting and the blender going off so this is better as a stop and go place. Had a horrible experience and I am writing this review as soon as I got home from Nana's Green Tea. Went to order 1 Croissant, 1 Yuzu Mojito, 1 Yuzu Soft Serve. There were at least 4 other groups people who ordered after me. They all got the orders before me and left. One of the group ordered a lot more drinks and a same croissant as I did. After I witnessed all the 4 groups of people who ordered before me left, I proceeded to the front and asked nicely that I waited more than 20 minutes and when can I expect my order. Not even an apology straight up looked baffled, no explanation, no further details or communication, the server just disappeared and left me alone in the front for few minutes, brought someone else then asked what my order number was. I said 20 and showed the vibrating bell they gave me. They start digging through stacks of previous orders, could not find mine then asked what I ordered. I repeated the ones I bought and they finally gave me order. No apology at all, straight up hands the items. I asked what the name was but Lin said I didn't take your order and just blankly stared back in silence. Went for a quick refreshing drinks after a hot day ended up waiting for more than half an hour with no explanation and no apology. If you look at the bad reviews there are common themes here where staff does not apologize. Can you please train your staff to at least apologize if they lost my order and the customer had to come and ask for it after waiting for all the groups who ordered left, and maybe train the staff to at least take out the croissant with gloves or utensil? I was surprised after she touched all the things around her then grabbed the croissant out of her bare hands and put it in the box. read more

This place is alright, soft serve quality is pretty low, has the texture of whipped cream and not really a soft serve. Got some green tea which was okay as well. This place looks like a go to place for a lot of highschoolers and young adults with a line out the door. The best thing we got was the circle looking purple potato pastry. This was a surprisingly well balanced dessert, love that it wasnt too sweet and all the textures worked well together in the different layers of ingredients. Wouldn't go for the soft serve, but would definitely be back if in the area for the purple spaghetti looking potato pastry (sorry forgot the name) read more

This place is amazing! We went for dessert after our dinner on Main Street, and we fell in love! The quality of the matcha is amazing, their soft serve has the best flavor, and the service is even better than the food, not to mention how absolutely beautiful the place is! I was so excited that Nana's Green Tea finally came to Bellevue. However I went there three times and two out of the three they make mistakes on my orders. The first time I ordered a medium Matcha Latte with Red Bean and Mochi, they gave me a small regular Matcha Latte. Funny thing is I thought they raised the price and it's the right size so I didn't go back. Second time ordered a Matcha Latte and a scoop of Matcha Ice Cream, the lady overcharged me for 10 dollars and told me the transaction was waived. But after 5 days the transaction in my bank account is finalized with the original price they charged. Like what? Why? I was told the transaction was waived? I understand it's a new spot and people are still in training but they made too many mistakes which just ruined the experience. Will avoid this place until people are well trained. read more

We're visit all kinds of matcha places around the world and Nana's in Seattle was one of the places we liked. We were happy to hear a Bellevue branch has opened. However the quality seems to have regressed. We took our usual matcha float and both matcha float and ice-cream had a very weak matcha taste. We like Chamei and Matcha Maiko much better. Was looking for something for breakfast/brunch for Easter today and my sister suggested Nana's...and yes, open even really early in the morning (went around 900a). Perpendicular to Main Street, that area can get busy, but at this time in the morning, there was plenty of street parking. No wait, ordered at the counter. Had 2 of the 6 types of onigiri ($6/ea), I think I had the spicy tuna and okura and was given dried seaweed to wrap over, macha with red bean and mochi (hot), and a seasame croissant to go. There are so many choices, it really was hard to decide, but the gal helping us was super patient and friendly. We dug right into our onigiri--delish!! and by the time our drinks were brought to our table, we both had finished 1 of the 2 onigiri each of us had. So good. The tea was creamy and not too sweet (I added just a packet of sugar), not bitter at all, and the mochi and red bean on the bottom were a treat to spoon up at the end. When I got home, I had the sesame croissant from a snack and oh boy, I have never had such a creamy black sesame yumminess before. The cream was not too sweet and slightly thicker than a whip cream but lighter than custard--super light and almost airy. I meant to only eat half...but finished the whole thing because it was just so good. Will definitely be back to try the soft serve and hojicha tea. read more

I had a hojicha soft serve in a cup and it was AMAZING! Never had it before so no other hajicha to compare it with but still. I'd choose this over molly moons considering that you get a lot for a similar price. My son got a plain ol' vanilla and that was delicious too. Only complaint is the middle of the cup was hollow because of the way they filled it up. A bit deceiving but it was still a lot of soft serve. read more

We have been looking forward to Nana's Green Tea to open in Bellevue. In the past, we have gone to the Seattle location, but always had difficulty finding parking. We were lucky enough to find parking on the street on a Sunday, early afternoon. They don't offer the full menu here as in downtown Seattle. We really enjoyed two of our favorites, the matcha tiramisu and the matcha mochi parfait. Service was great, despite the long line. read more
