Update: two weeks later and my thumb has completely chipped and three other nails are coming off too... waste of money and so disappointed in the quality . --------- I REALLY wanted to like this place. It's super cute, they're gentle, and the ladies are really nice... BUT it comes down to their work. 1) I called to make an appointment for dip nails and pedis for two of my girls. When we got there, we were seated and did our nails first but I think they forgot that we were doing pedis so we ended up having to be there for 2.5 hours because they did our nails first then did our pedis ... 2) my friends nail tech was OBVIOUSLY not confident in doing ombré nails. But if you're not comfortable doing them then don't pretend, just say it's she ended up making my friends nails look horrible! Luckily the owner was there and we asked to have them fixed and she happily fixed them. But that took extra time as well 3) they don't really file to the shape you ask for 4) after paying more than $70 for my dip nails i EXPECT them to stay longer than a week. Our nails are already cracking ! I've never had this happen with my other nail place. SO DISAPPOINTED! The most precise, thoughtful, and clean mani/pedi I've ever had. Normally I feel like I'm being rude when I'm asking them to fix mistakes, but they loved my communication and I'm beyond pleased with the result. Ann and Trang did my nails, gel on toes and hands. There's so much to say about how amazing the experience was: Ann was patient, careful, and not worried about me being a little fussy. Trang was welcoming, fun, and an amazing perfectionist. My pedicure came with a lavender salt scrub and shea butter coffee mask (both made in house) for my legs and feet and they felt and smelled amazing. Trang even gave me a small sample of her salt scrub to take home, so thoughtful! Plus they offer a 7-day chip guarantee, if my nails chip in the first week they will fix it. I visited this salon for the first time this weekend. I was warmly greeted by name for my appointment and the staff made sure my nail color matched what I wanted when the first nail polish (a sparkly red) was not red enough. They added a more red undercoat and the red sparkles on top. Gina was very courteous and made my nails look great even though I didn't want my cuticles cut. I didn't enjoy the way my cuticles were cut, it was in a way that caused pain. I tried to tell the woman working on my manicure, but felt disregarded. I looked at my fingers today and also realized that the painting job could have been better, so I repainted my nails. During the service the two women working on my mani and pedi kept speaking in their language, which made me as the customer feel uncomfortable. Love this place! I found this place when I was pregnant and wanted to get pampered but also expose myself to less chemicals. This place has new nail polish technologies, they use the latest and greatest instead of buying cheap gel polish that is bad for you (which is everywhere else). The one I get is the CND Lux manicure, I love it because it's quick to remove with just the solution (no cringe-worthy nail shaving needed), and they don't paint it so thick that it looks fake. The cure time is also a lot quicker which means you're getting less exposure. And these manicures last me 2+ weeks.. usually 3ish. The salon has great ventilation and they usually leave front and back doors open so no flumes get trapped. I booked an appointment online for a Mani pedi which was able to be done at the same time, getting me out of there in about an hour The staff was super friendly and they did a great job with my nails. I opted for a basic manicure and the Polish stayed on about 1.5-2 weeks, which is way longer than other places I've gone to in the past. This review is a little delayed and at first I wasn't sure if I wanted to post. But I think others should be aware. I had a pedicure and manicure done in December 2022 at this salon. The salon is cute and the staff nice. It was a busy day, but overall I liked the way my nails looked. Immediately after leaving the nail salon my left big toe nail was hurting around the cuticle. My right big toe nail was also hurting a little. I just thought my toes maybe a little sensitive because I don't usually get pedicures. Pain lasted a week then dulled, but never fully went away. I kept an eye on the toe. However over the next month and a half I noticed my left big toe nail not growing well. Polish lasted awhile so a plus for me because I could see the progress of my other nails growing and this toe nail not growing. By February pain getting worse around cuticle and pus started coming out. Went to a podiatrist who says she sees this often with people who get pedicures and cuticles are cut or pushed back too aggressively. Unfortunately had to have the toe nail removed. Now have to wait a year for the toe nail to grow back. Thankfully it's growing back. As sometimes they don't. Interestingly, a month after visiting the podiatrist I noticed the left big toe nail not growing and starting to hurt more. Again the nail polish lasts! Now pus is coming out of this cuticle and I will likely have to have this big toe nail removed. Please do not allow your staff to aggressively cut, trim or push back cuticles during pedicures. In all my life I have never had an ingrown toe nail. But this pedicure caused me to get Paronychia and then bilateral retronychia. Please have your staff read this article. I have to write a review of Trang and Natural Nails because I was so impressed with the level of service and quality of work! Everything from the nail shape (which there is a list of options to pick from) to the type of manicure you receive is all based in natural nontoxic nail products. The shop is super clean and modern. I have been twice so far and both times and it was not crowded, just enough to ensure you get the attention you need in a fast, efficient yet relaxing manner. Third time - had appt - they didn't bother to tell me that the person I had scheduled with didn't come to work that day. I still had a pedi done, and it was fine. Tried a 4th time, made appt for gel mani and pedi - was getting ready to head out of town. This time, I tried to get my same person - but she sent me a msg that morning saying she wasn't coming in. My first visit to this nail salon was almost two months and I am in love! I called during a weekend, and luckily they managed to squeeze me in the same day. I didn't get the name of the nice lady helping me, but I can assure you that all of the employees are super sweet and do an excellent job. They go above and beyond to make sure that the products they use are natural, and I recognized that a few products they use are from Whole Foods. I loove the scrub they used during my pedicure - it was made of coffee grinds and essential oil (I think). I've been very active the past few weeks, wearing sandals/flip flops (and even scraped my foot on cement) but my nail polish is still fully intact! Will definitely be back! read more

This was my first visit to the Natural Nails Boutique. I live just down the street and finally made it in. I intended to just get a pedicure because my fingernails were in bad shape from Shellac, but I opted for a manicure as well. I got the spa pedicure with Yuen and the classic manicure with Mimi. Both nail technicians did a fantastic job and their attention to detail was excellent. The scrub that Yuen used smelled delicious and was soothing to my skin. I've frequently found that other places use scrubs that sting my skin and I really liked this scrub in comparison. Both services were finished with a massage with organic sweet almond oil from Whole Foods Market. I love this product and use it myself at home. It smells really good and absorbs well into your skin. I was falling asleep, I was so relaxed! After my services, I took advantage of their scrub bar to take some home to enjoy. The owner filled a jar with layers of sea salt, baking soda, and oils. It was scented with tangerine oil and lemon oil from Doterra and smells soooo good! I can't wait to return! read more

I've been going to her for dip manicures because they, no joke, last 3 full weeks with almost zero chips. They are shiny, and with the exception of natural nail growth, look identical to the day they were done. Well, honestly if I had the correct service and good service I would rate this place five stars. It has a calm atmosphere and is decorated in a cute way. However I had a lot of issues top to bottom from the time I booked my appointment two weeks prior and explained exactly what I wanted and the pricing and when I arrive the day of I had a completely different story and experience. I originally booked a combination manicure pedicure that was at a discounted rate and asked if I could get the same service yet to add on gel for the manicure. The person told me that would be fine and no change in price. If she said it was going to be $10 extra that would've been fine however she did not clarify that when I specifically asked. If the price was going to be different I should've been told two weeks prior when I originally booked the appointment and asked them to confirm the price so there's no surprises. I've had many experiences where I've gone to a nail salon and then they just charged me $20-$50 more than originally quoted and it did not feel right to me. Once I arrived the day of a woman tried to argue with me over the service. I was very calm and simply showed her the company website and what they stated the service was and the price. She kept insisting that I had to pay extra for the service that clearly listed a specific price with everything included. She Kept seeming like she had an attitude and as someone who had spent weeks researching on the best place to go to have one day of relaxation I experience anything but the opposite and it was truly devastating and heartbreaking. I also received a manicure and the person working on my manicure was very rough with my hands and the whole Manicure experience was not pleasant or enjoyable I was actually very stiff and uncomfortable the whole time and kept asking the person to be gentle with me because they were being very harsh. Even buffing my fingers hurt which doesn't hurt at all but they were going so rough with my hands it did not feel good at all. Then after all of that they charged me an extra $30 because I got gel on my manicure instead of regular which I already said I was going to when I originally called weeks prior. I've worked in the service industry and the hospitality industry for over 15 years and I have never been so disappointed. I remembered briefly that I had been to the salon in 2019 and I never came back. Now I remember why. Also the specific mani / pedi combo that I was supposed to get was not added to my service. Meaning that I got the service on my feet and not my hands yet they still charged me for both and charge me extra and much more than they said for the nails. Only bummer was the basic pedicure option didn't include scrubbing of feet/removing calluses. I'm a dancer, and that is a huge reason I get monthly pedicures in the first place. I read all these other reviews and am floored but this place is good if your the right race I guess. Let me start by saying when I find a good nail salon that is a good fit for me then I stay. 15 years or more. I'm a loyal patron. I called this place and was excited because they were taking a healthier approach to doing nails . Place small and cute . 1)I came in w acrylic tips and and asked if they could deal with this as it wasn't advertised. The owner said no problem and she saw the first visit and she greeted me , introducing herself and what they offered there. I let her know my concerns and what I was looking for and she convinced me that I found my new place. She was amazing! She let me know she was short that day because 2-3 people called out but all her staff was good , polite and would treat me well . I told her I liked her but she said it was hard to schedule with her because it was difficult to catch her. Red flag #1 - but I trusted that in the future her staff would be just as great especially because she spoke so highly about them. I left pleased with my experience , nails didn't break, polish didn't peel and all was good. 2) She recommended a different shade when I came in next time staff was completely cold and unfriendly . No greeting or welcome and when I asked them about the nail polish shade that she recommended they were lost. It took 3 people while shoving nail colors in my face that were nothing like described. 3) they were rough and kept hurting me without remorse or apology. . They didn't say one word to me , didn't ask my name ,shape I wanted my nails or anything. The most they said is I should take off all my acrylics and use their natural stuff next time . Well all my nails gradually were falling off and I was finding myself there a couple of times for repair which owner told me wasn't a problem. Last place nails never broke let alone fell off. However, I was patient because she said they were all good and I needed to get nails healthy. 4) A guy did my nails and was Not the best but good enough. I asked him questions and at times ignored me.. He didn't respond. I repeatedly had to ask if he was going to give me a fresh set and he wouldn't answer. When I returned for repairs they'd act annoyed .He did my nails again kept hurting me, nails were crooked, different lengths , he huffed and puffed with annoyance the whole time and again were all falling off. 5) Julie has done my nails and did a repair and when I asked her name she abruptly snapped at me and said, "why did I keep asking her name?" She greeted a woman next to me of a different race with respect welcoming her for her visit while smiling meanwhile I'm in front of her and she couldn't even manage to say 1 word to me and had never greeted me this way . She was so rude and cold to me from day 1. Again nails breaking . I called for a repair and no one answered the phone and when I'm a block from my house the manager/owner called me back and told me if I came in right now they can work on me . I said ok , it will take me 10 min to get there and she said this was fine. When I got there at 5 pm the door was locked and they close at 6-7 I thought. I had to knock and they came to the door blocking the entry and the lady said " yes, what do you want ?" I said I need a repair and the manager told me to come over now . She snapped at me " so you want it all redone? I said just the repairs at this time. It had on,y been 2 days since nails were done. She would not move from the entry of the door so I grabbed the door and said the owner asked me to come now . I went the restroom and came out and they asked me to come back in 30 min. I started to lose my patience and said " wait a minute, I was almost home and the owner asked me to come now " she said " oh well we didn't know and took a walk in customer so now you have to wait 30 min". Rude, abrupt and completely unwelcome. I waited 15 min and said I would call tomorrow . I called the next afternoon asking for the manager or owner and they said " what do you need her for " I told them why and they put me on hold for 15 min. I hung up and called back and someone answered and then hung up on me twice. A lady called me back asking me what I needed and why did I need the manager. As I told her my story she gradually revealed she was the owner. She was apologetic and cried about how rude her staff was and no one deserves this treatment . But all she offered was maybe 5-10% of my money back and to go elsewhere she said because for no reason her technicians were refusing to work on me. I then had to go elsewhere and take all of the mess off and start with a fresh set less than a week later. I had 5 nails missing by this time . This was by far one of my worst and discriminative experiences ever.. People of all races and colors are definitely not welcome here . My sister and I made a same day appointment a few hours from when we called. They said they could take us both for dip powder manicures. They do a wonderful job and we are really happy with the outcome, but unfortunately my sister had to wait 45 minutes before they started her nails and at the end when we were ready to pay, they charged us an extra $13 on top of the price for dip powder because we got tips super glued on. It wasn't posted on their list of services and we felt very blind sided because it's a lot of money for tips and to not know in advance.
