The wait from when you place an order to when it arrives was crazy long. Cheeseburger wrap was pretty good and creative. Spicy fried chicken sandwich was legit bad. This is going to be my new go-to spot in Brentwood because it's affordable, it's super tasty, and the best part was the service. Honestly I can't say enough good things about it. I definitely want to try other things on the menu because they have whatever you're in the mood for: pasta, pizza, sandwiches, burgers, bowls, wraps, and refined-sugar free desserts. It's as if they designed this spot for the girls like me. My bf got the crispy chicken sandwich and he also thought it was solid! And then there's the mango sticky rice sundae. I was skeptical at first because every girl on TikTok says everything they taste is so good so I don't really trust them, but I decided to try it out because where else can you get one from? I thought it was delicious with the little kick of passion fruit and the little bit of texture from the sticky rice. So tasty and I def want to try the brownie one next! From management to service it feels like a full service restaurant and you simply order via a kiosk located directly as you walk in. Warm and friendly staff greeted our family and even had a doggie treat for our puppy who was very excited to be out. Appreciate that all the food is seed oil free and the chicken sandwich honor bar dupe is pretty compable to what we have all the time and I'd say it's just as good. The portions are large and filled us up which is great value for a family of 5. The teriyaki bowl was light and yet very filling and I appreciated the veggies and muchrooms it came with. We ordered from the Mix Tape menu-the Better Tender Box Set-3 crispy hand-breaded chicken tenders with waffle fries, coleslaw, and a buttered toasted Parker House roll with Ranch and Honey Mustard sauces. I'm going to be very honest here: I am an adult chicken tender aficionado and these were among the BEST chicken tenders that I've ever had! (BONUS: they are gluten and seed oil free!). The coleslaw was delicious with a little kick and I'm not a coleslaw lover-but this was amazing! We also ordered from the What's Gaby Cooking Menu-Gaby's Chicken Caesar Avocado Wrap with Bacon. Management needs to do something with dogs being inside. I saw a large dog sniffing the Swedish candy jars. Then when seated at the inside tables there was another different huge dog sitting on the side that I almost tripped over! Why are you letting pets inside? They should only be allowed at the outdoor tables. Everyone knows this place is already crowded and busy with people let alone any space for giant dogs. It is unsanitary and dangerous for a food hall. No market or restaurant allows pets inside unless it's a service pet.. I have never seen a dog at a restaurant. I attended the soft launch training event at Neighborly in Brentwood and I honestly cannot say enough good things. Even in its very first days, this place is firing on all cylinders. The food was outstanding across the board. We ordered the Better Tender Box -- crispy, perfectly cooked chicken tenders with waffle fries that hit every comfort food craving. The Chinese Chicken Crunch Salad was fresh and addicting, loaded with avocado, shredded carrots, cilantro, and crispy tortilla strips with great texture in every bite. Papa Hov's Steak Plate was the standout of the night -- tender, beautifully seasoned steak served over rice with warm flatbread, just an incredible plate of food. And the Pizza alla Vodka was everything a great pizza should be -- rich, creamy vodka sauce, perfectly baked crust, and toppings that came together flawlessly. The concept is fun and creative, bringing together different culinary styles under one roof, and the space itself feels warm and welcoming. The name "Neighborly" really does fit. But I have to give a huge special shoutout to our server Haily, who was absolutely amazing. She was warm, attentive, enthusiastic, and genuinely made the whole experience feel special. This was the worst customer service experience I have had at a restaurant in LA in a while. It took them 45 minutes to bring out our food and when they did they didn't bring out our full order so my friends and I couldn't eat together without someone's food getting cold from waiting for so long. Whenever I asked where the missing dishes were (which I asked about 4 times) they would say they are checking and then the order would never come out. Then, I asked for a refund for the fries I ordered that never came out and the server said she couldn't give me a refund but I can take them to go. When she handled me the to go fries, the honey mustard (which isn't even the sauce I asked her for) was spilled all over the fries. I kept asking my server for a box and she never gave it to me but was giving other tables what they asked for on a timely manner. I then had to go get my own box since none of the servers were being helpful. The food isn't even good here and comes out cold. Will never eat here or waste my time here again. read more

The food THOUGH, every concept in the restaurant has 9+ quality food. Literally everything - haven't had an item I dislike yet. The concept is extremely innovative and very forward thinking for the current generation. Multi-concept food halls are really unique ways to maximize value for consumers and for the businesses. I'm waiting for a coffee bar, breakfast, and I'm hoping they decide to bring a real coffee setup into the restaurant (e.g. La Marzocco or San Remo machines) and not the automatic ones. It might be operationally more time-consuming, but, it would replace my daily trips to Malou down the street. The ambiance is fantastic, very inviting.
