    Burned styrofaom

The food is great and I would give this place five stars, but each time I have ordered, they have not properly lined the styrofoam to go container (I've ordered via DoorDash) and the food burns into the styrofoam. Definitely not healthy! I will never order here again. If the owner or manager reads this this, please respond to this review by promising to properly line your to go containers with wax paper or aluminum foil- if you do, I will change my review to five stars and order again. Otherwise, the one star review stands and I am not ordering again.

Best Chinese takeout in tampa 100%, I went there for the first time a month ago and while I rarely eat Chinese takeout any more because it's hard to find good places with great Sesame Chicken and Beef Lomein... this is the go-to spot for sure!

This restaurant is part of Foodsby for food delivery to my company so I decided to order from here. For $4.18 I got a wonton soup and 2 vegetable spring rolls. Soup was tasty, your typical wonton soup. Vegetable spring rolls were good. Good for the price and I'd definitely order again.

We did not have a reservation (party or 2) and we waited about 45 min for a table. The ambiance is dim lighted and lively, perfect for dinner. The food was very good as well! Wasn't a fan of the Lump Crab Meat Cucumber and Avocado hand roll but I think that's more of a me thing than the food itself - it is a popular one. We got a text that our table was ready and we had to flag someone down to let them know cause no one was standing at the front. And when we got someone flagged, they took the couple that came in AFTER us first. Then our server was not friendly, I had asked if they had the mentaiko sauce and she asked me what's that? They literally hahe mentaiko on the menu.... And then our ramen came out without the spicy paste and we flagged someone down , I assume the manager? Since he was dressed differently and he rudely said that's no wrong, they just didn't give you the paste. Okay....? So it's not what I ordered lol. He came back with the paste and very condescendingly asked is that right now? I also thought the ramen wasn't very flavorful and the noodles were on the softer end. All in all won't be back

Each course was thoughtfully prepared, inventive, and flavorful. Service was beyond exceptional with our glasses never dipping less than half full. It was fun to watch the chef prepare our next course in front of us and I appreciated being able to ask questions and have everything explained as he went. One of the highlights for me was the caviar service (extra charge). We have never ordered caviar outright and were unsure of what we were in for but thought "Let's do it!" It was phenomenal. Light, briny, creamy and paired with panna cotta (I know, I know but trust me ) and potato churros (everyone needs these in their life). Another wow moment was the chutoro nigiri and the salmon nigiri...omg. I love cooked salmon but not normally raw salmon and so this was a complete surprise that I loved it. The chutoro, my fav tuna, has ruined me from enjoying it anywhere else. My hubs favorite bite of the night was the waygu beef sando (think grilled cheese w a piece of filet tucked inside) which was so much more that a fancy steak and cheese sandwich. Made with homemade milkbread and wrapped in a delicate Korean seaweed "wrap," he was asking for more for the rest of the meal! This experience was one for the books and highly recommended, however, be forewarned, it is super expensive. Everyone was super nice, I loved the vibe. Everything we tried was delicious. My favorites were the Uni, King Salmon, the little green crab dish, the squid soup, wagyua grilled cheese and the scallop. I loved the presentations. Some were very unique! My least favorite was the duck, I wished they had replaced that one with a seared wagyu dish, especially for the price we paid I was kind of expecting something like that. Also, was a bit disappointed we were not served tuna belly. I'm not a huge fan of tuna because there isn't much flavor. The desserts were good, but to have three as each course separately was a bit excessive. I would have rather had more seafood dishes or wagyu and one desert at the end. The wine I ordered was great and I wish I could remember the name of it. All in all this was a great experience and glad I tried it out however I think I had too high of expectations.

The staff and owner were very friendly and personable and the food was even better! I ordered the gyoza (this is fried and the filling is an in-house recipe pork filling, might be different from your regular gyoza but still yummy and worth trying), and had the Nigiri Flight which was amazing! I'll let the picture speak for itself, but you need to come in and try it for yourself. The fish was fresh and each one was better than the other. I even loved the tamago (which they prepare in house) and I normally am not a fan of it. All the nigiri were well sized and super filling, I could have done without the dumplings and the salad, and still would have been more than satisfied. The place is also very well decorated and styled, I truly think they hit all the points with food, service, and ambience. You can tell the owner puts his heart and soul into this place and it shows in the food and your time there. It was a very pleasant experience and I am so happy to have found Isekai!

I was excited by the great reviews on Yelp -- and was so happy that this place lived up to the hype! The fish was excellent -- fresh, well cut, super tasty. The toro was rich and delicious, the salmon and snapper fresh and pure, and as noted by others, the seasoned sushi rice with the accoutrements in the bowl (seaweed salad, thinly sliced pickled radish and carrot, and masago) made for an elevated lunch. I really appreciated the flexibility and options around my celiac disease (sushi can be tough because of the wheat in most soy sauce) -- including the kind note they attached saying the subbed some extra toro and masago for the Iburi which had been marinated in soy sauce. Lastly, I usually much prefer to eat-in for sushi (a sushi bar is my 2nd home), but really appreciate the details they put into the Uber Eats takeout package -- dressed it nice with shiso leaf and shaved radish AND have it all placed on little ice packs to keep the fish cold on their commute from the Chef's Knife to my belly. Great experience overall.

He insisted on taking the menus away. If the beer list was on the online menu I would have researched each offering in advance. My goal was to see the Beer Advocate ratings and review for each, but without enough time to check each on my phone I gave up and ordered wine. We found the corstini with anchovy quite good and the caesar salad featuring bechamel crisp interesting. They are quite proud of their balsamic vinegars and featured them prominently.
