Came for dinner. When they have Butternut squash soup on the menu I am in. I wanted Chicken Francaise but I did not want 2 vegetables. I asked for a bed of linguine under the chicken. Best idea ever. My dinner came with 3 giant cutlets. Service was great, food was too. Place was clean and the prices are reasonable. Another home run for my favorite diner. Sal E. New Rochelle

You can't go wrong with a good old diner. We ventured here because it was late and we knew they were open. You need to have an idea of what you want because the menu is extensive. They also have an extensive drink menu and they have drinks to go too. I went with a classic item - bacon cheeseburger with crispy fries. It's extremely hard to mess that up so I knew my meal was going to be great and it was. It was a nice lively crowd with a mixture of all ages. Place was clean and the wait staff and bus boys was moving fast to make sure all of the guest were ok. The diner is a perfect place for late night dining and drinks.

Went for a birthday celebration on a Sunday . Please GO early It gets extremely crowded , the parking lot is free but small. We were seated pretty quickly as a party of 8 but there was long wait for 2 person parties . Decor was an old diner feel , bet cozy .The food was decent , portions are big but it took a long time to come out and was luke warm . The waiter had so many tables he barely checked in. I would probably return but on a weekday for dinner and see what kind of experience that brings . Happy eating

For the most part it's a regular Diner. They do have Alcoholic drinks on their menu and also milk shakes and other desserts. To eat I ordered the Oreo pancakes and bacon the pancakes were dry and the bacon tasted like they had cooked it earlier and just reheated it to serve. The bacon looked crispy but it wasn't. I also ordered the sampler #1 which consisted of onion rings, buffalo wings, tenders and mozzarella sticks ( this was decent) My friend got a plain waffle with scrambled eggs and sausage. He said his food was okay nothing to rave about. The waiter had stop by and ask if I wanted the pancakes to go home and I said no and she then asked was everything okay and I told her I didn't like them and how they were dry and not good. She said okay and walked away. The manager then came and asked what was wrong with the pancakes and I told him they was dry and lacked flavor. He then responded they do not make dry pancakes and I said okay. He then asked if I wanted another order of pancakes since it was on the bill already and I said not really, he insisted and I agree to an order of plain pancakes and still DRY! I just paid my bill and left.

I love this diner. One of the only places left close enough to NYC that has traditional values. The place is huge and almost always has seating available with little to no wait. The food is fresh and the portions are huge, not to mention the taste. The staff is all very professional. The restaurant has bathrooms and parking too. This is a great place to bring the family.

the menu is outrageously filled to the brim which makes selecting a dish difficulty but what would you expect from a diner? staff is nice and there's plenty of parking. it gives old school retro vibe ambiance indoors everyone is dresssed up. unfortunately i will not come back here. i got food poisoned here from the salad that comes with the gyro chicken platter. be careful! Belgian Waffle with Fresh Fruit and Bellini

I came here with the hopes of enjoying some good diner food for an affordable price, and instead I left the restaurant feeling robbed for the mediocre quality food that I had! My order was simply a Belgian waffle with fresh fruit, which I specified no bananas only blueberries and strawberries. I also added a Bellini to my order just so I can enjoy the meal. To my surprise the waffle was priced at $14.79 and served with cheap syrup instead of maple syrup!!!! The waffle was something you can order at a local New York deli, nothing to write home about. The Bellini was $14.99 for a glass halfway full, which is not how they do it in Manhattan since they were charging Manhattan prices. Then when I received the bill I realized that I was charged an extra $2.99 for a few slices of strawberry... Surprise, Surprise! I would have rather traveled to Manhattan to enjoy a DELICIOUS Sunday brunch for $35!

Food is good, service a bit slow. Coffee cups frequently filled. Nice menu, offerings to satisfy most anyone. Friendly atmosphere, nice sized portions.

Found my new go to dinner in New Rochelle! It's your typical dinner and you will leave full and possibly with leftovers too. I was excited to find out that the soup of the day for when I went was Seafood Bisque. A bowl of that alone was very filling and the French Dip wrap I had ordered ended up becoming leftovers. I was able to eat some of it and it was very satisfying. The bread was the right amount of crispiness and softness and the dip complemented the meat very well. I just had to get a dessert too and went with their tart. It was very interesting looking and sounding but personally I think that I would try a different dessert another time. It was a bit hard to cut through but that is just the nature of the tart I think. They had so many other desserts that I would like to try next time. Not to mention, the portions were huge! If you're looking for a nice breakfast, brunch, lunch, dinner, snack, then honestly this place will have it all!

The service and food, on the other hand, were quite a mixed bag. We ordered a margherita pizza, pancake tacos, steak and eggs, and French toast with a side of sausage--the pizza, at least, was good. However, the "French toast" was more like an anemic panini press trying to pass as French toast. The steak and eggs comprised of a fairly well-cooked (that is, it was the right temperature) yet underseasoned steak of a relatively dubious cut, underseasoned home fries, and eggs done wrong (sunny side instead of over easy). The lattermost was the start of the problem, as I was willing to give it a shot, but found the texture off-putting. In light of this, I brought the problem to our server Adalia, who brought it to her manager Elvia. Thankfully I had someone else with me to tell me what happened: Elvia came over without addressing me on their error, silently took a look at my plate and instructed Adalia to have the kitchen put the eggs back on the fire. She takes my plate to extract the eggs, and brings them back (unsurprisingly) completely overdone, first in Elvia's hands, then in Adalia's for her to serve; we send for a refire, and they come back correct 7 minutes or so after I've already finished eating. Considering the hassle it took to get them, I couldn't trust it enough to eat, leading them to waste as well. After all was said and done, the GM Amer comes over to see how things were, and was thankfully helpful and understanding of our situation. Here's the rub: I was initially willing to overlook the steak, the home fries, and even the eggs if the error was properly ameliorated. Adalia and Amer both did very well, and I'm grateful for them for that; Elvia, on the other hand, managed to break the chain of competent customer service by directing the server to handle the problem in a way that was set up for failure (if you mess up an egg, it's an immediate refire because of how the egg cooks in the first place -- Amer also arrested to that policy) all without addressing us and taking accountability, due to negligence or whatever else. Not only that, but when sending the incorrect eggs over the second time, she couldn't even bring it to us herself--it would have been easy, seeing as she was the one that originally had them--and left Adalia and her tip to potentially take the fire if the patrons happen to be angry. Mistakes are fine--everyone makes them--but I'd describe this as cowardly more than anything else, and I take issue with that in particular from a leadership standpoint. While Amer graciously extended an invitation for a better experience next time, I can't say I'll be taking him up on the offer when their service and food are this misaligned; unfortunately, a disappointment overall.

To start, we shared the crispy brussel sprouts Charleston style. These were delicious with the tangy sauce and large flakes of parmesan cheese. For my main, I had the brunch wrap. It comes with chips, but I swapped for fries for an additional charge. The wrap was a good size; I had half and saved the rest for leftovers. It was tasty, but not a ton of flavor. The tater tots were nice and crispy and I enjoyed the fresh tomatoes and avocado. They gave me a huge portion of crinkle cut fries, which also would've been great with a little more seasoning, but they were good when dipped in mayo. My husband got the shrimp and grits and appreciated the large portion size as well. I had a lemonade to drink. It was refreshing since it wasn't overly sweet. Service was great. I look forward to trying the rest of the menu!

Aesthetically, each table feels like a meal at a family dinner table; it's clear that they wanted that vibe to be translated, and it's done quite well. This is also supported by the service being very friendly and helpful in general. To eat, I had the French toast burger with sweet potato fries. Some others with me had various sides like regular fries and tater tots, and the same thing was present on them that tends not to be at most places: they were all perfectly salted/seasoned. It might seem immaterial, but it's a very good signal when something that simple--yet often neglected in favor of just using condiments to mask it--is executed well. If you're a burger place with fries that taste great without the need for a sauce or condiment, you're doing something right. The French toast burger was likewise fantastic, combining sweet and savory in a great way. To drink, we all got a communal pitcher of the only frozie they had available at the time: a kind of jungle juice vodka slushie. It, too, was great--worthy of multiple rounds. All in all, here's a place that I can't wait to give another visit.
