I'm not gonna lie. I came on November 24 (the day after thanksgiving) and they were unfortunately closed so it made me kinda sad since I was getting to the hAngry stage as a woman. But I came back again today as my third attempt and they were open so yay! In my previous review, I said that the service was not impressive, it was just okay. Today, I was greeted by such a kind woman cashier. She was so cool and friendly, it felt like I was talking to a friend! She made the service and experience felt great. I even asked her where they got that cute Squidward flag in the kitchen because it's such a mood/vibe I ordered the ninja quesadilla and spicy noodles with beef today. Came here due to social media so I had to give it a try. Small space with no where to sit all seats were taken. I got 6 piece wings (BBQ and Garlic Parm) as well as chicken garlic noodles. Garlic noodles were dry on the verge of being crunchy texture. Lacked flavor to me the chicken pieces in it tasted and looked like reheated rotisserie chicken from the store also dry. Garlic Parm wings were semi decent but the BBQ sauce for the wings has a HEAVY ketchup taste rather than a BBQ sauce flavor. All and all I was disappointed in this spot I expected better. read more

I've been here a couple times now and finally doing a review. Let's start with the noodles, what can I say other than they are delicious. My personal favorite is the mixed, with shrimp and tri tip steak. The steak chunks are perfectly seared and nice and tender and the shrimp have a nice crispy exterior but both just hide the gold beneath and that is the garlic noodles. The sauce and flavor is really good and it's near impossible to not finish it all. They also offer wings and I tried out the sinnigang flavor. I have to say they were really tasty as well. I haven't tried other menu items but they also have fried rice instead of noodles, some burritos and other wing flavors. The service is always quick. I wouldn't say "fast" because the food is cooked to order but that is what makes it so good! The setting is very casual with a few tables and music playing if you want to dine in, personally I get my food to go most of the time because I mostly come at lunch time. Noticed that Geniyaki had been replaced and was curious to try the new place out. Didn't feel like making lunch on a hot day so we swung by. Of course I showed up starving, so I got the garlic noodles with shrimp and steak. My husband snuck in an order for two chicken tacos, and we were given three umami wings to try. The shrimp was the star, and the rest were good as well. I don't know what they coat the shrimp in, but it was just the right level of crispy. Noodles were flavorful and the beef were good cuts, not at all gristly. 10/10, chicken tacos were decent with a unique flavor 7/10. On the whole I would stick with the noodle dishes. The umami wings were crispy, and slightly on the sweet side 8/10. They certainly made me want to try the other flavors on $1 wing Wednesdays. Service was friendly, the meals came out quickly, and the ambiance was minimalist. I am very curious about the exotic drinks available and will do a little research so I can try one next time, as it stood I would have held up the line trying to figure out which one to get. Let's get REALLY real!! The food is about 3.5 out of 5 stars. Well.... at least for what I ate, the garlic noodles with tri-tip and shrimp ($16). The meat was unbelievably chewy. That had to be the lowest grade of steak. The garlic noodles tasted stale. What's this place saving grace?? Flavor- they know how to season food. So the meat is low-grade, shrimp was fishy smelling and noodles chewy the thing that covered it all up was the flavor. Serving size was generous. All of the wing flavors we tried were yummy (lemon pep, Cajun lemon pep, and honey sriracha), but the garlic noodles didn't do it for us. The bittersweet moments are not the end, but the beginning of a new chapter, and I salute you NGHBR's for picking up that torch by continuing the beloved Ninja Fries, and ninja flavors that we all loved from Genki. This new shop is minority and Cambodian owned. Now let's talk about the food... I've had this place about twice so far, and what keeps me coming back are those Garlic noodles. There are three meat options, tri-tip steak, chicken, and shrimp. But you can also pick a mix of two!! Highly recommend the tri-tip and shrimp. My one complaint is that the second time I came, my garlic noodles were a bit bland, the meat was a bit tougher, and the shrimp was way too breaded... I did come almost right when they opened, so maybe this was a day old?? Not sure... giving them benefit of the doubt. My friend had the burrito, and he thought it was amazing as well!! I'm interested in seeing what else they can add to the menu as well as they're still in their soft opening phase. The service is pretty good, but they're also still training their staff so let's see how consistent this will be. This isn't the normal WS/BWW selection so it made it difficult to know what was which. Would be helpful to write on the paper they use in the boxes what flavor that paper is sectioning. First of all, nice and clean restaurant when I first walked in. Then the worker (owner???) went over the menu to point out different items and explain the dishes. After trying their food truck I was excited to hear they would have a permanent location because I love how they put a big emphasis on flavor and the portions are really good for the price. The food was already great at the truck, but now that they have the extra elbow room the cooks can really shine and the food is even better! Garlic noodles are a must have, I've had them with the tri tip and the second time I had chicken, although I preferred the tri tip you can't go wrong with either one. Definitely going to try with shrimp and come back with a final verdict haha So far all of the wing flavors I've tried have all been really good, again this place does not miss! They have a lot of options that I still want to try but so far I think the Umami are my favorite. They also have really cool anime drinks that I was a little skeptical to try, especially since I usually just stick with water, but I was really surprised so definitely make sure you grab one (or two) Lastly, the staff here is really friendly and will give you really accurate descriptions if you're having trouble deciding on anything which is really helpful when there's so many options. Just tried NGHBRS Kitchen for the first time and had to stop mid bite to write a review. It's *that* good. I've been craving noodles for a while and the garlic noodles were unbelievable. The have a delightful chew and perfect texture. If you're craving noodles, this dish hits just right. I got it with shrimp and was blown away at the quality of the shrimp as well. Perfect texture and expertly cooked, and the FLAVOR omg. They're battered which I was not expecting and it added a wonderfully delicate crust. Last but not least were the wings (which I actually ate first) and I absolutely devoured them. There were no descriptions anywhere about the flavors so I took a chance and ordered the Umami wings, and they were the perfect flavor.
