They also have another vegetarian option with much more. Great breakfast burritos! I order them spicy, with avocado and no chorizo. I've been getting them this way since 2008! The chorizo is good, but I feel like it overpowers the other flavors. The burrito (ordered with no chorizo) comes with grilled potatoes, scrambled eggs, cheese, salsa (mild or spicy) and bacon. With the added avocado the flavor combination is perfect! It's also a nice little restaurant to eat in, they have a patio that overlooks a nursery garden and some tables outside as well. My only issue is that it is Cash Only. It was ok when the Bank of America right across the street was there, but since the bank closed in July this year, it's a big inconvenience if you are walking Main Street and want to pop into Nick's. The only place with an ATM now is Chase, which is on the north side of PCH. I really wish they would start taking credit transactions, I would be able to eat there a lot more if they did. read more

The breakfast burrito ($6.95) comes with eggs, chorizo, bacon, potatoes, and cheese. While these are all of my favorite breakfast burrito ingredients, it was a little lacking in flavor. There was something missing from all the action and couldn't quite bind all the ingredients together. I did really enjoy the California Club ($9.95). The sandwich comes with about a quarter pound of turkey, 5 strips of crispy, salty bacon, avocado, mayo, lettuce and tomatoes. I opted for a toasty white bread and it was exactly what I was looking for in a sandwich. I do have to admit that it became a teeny tiny soggy on the walk to the beach, so keep that in mind if you don't plan to eat your sandwich right away. Nick's is an institution - I've heard about it for years. They serve up a ton of breakfast and sandwich options. There's also a sprinkling of Mexican fare on the menu as well. The beach isn't too far of a walk from the downtown area so if you're looking for an easy picnic situation, I'd recommend picking something up from Nick's. It was really popular and there was a line when I went, so people love this place. I got a breakfast burrito with bacon and sausage. The size of the burrito was good, it was large. But the flavor was lacking to me, it didn't hit the spot at all. Kind of bland, wasn't wowed. Don't think I would come here again. Located about two blocks from the Seal Beach her, this is a small restaurant that is popular for their breakfast burritos and sandwiches. It sits directly next to the "old town garden" so if a table/seating in the patio area provides for a peaceful and relaxing view. The lines are long but service is quick, efficient and friendly. We found the breakfast burritos to be satisfying but average in taste and basic in its ingredients (eggs, potatoes and your choice of meat). It's light seasoned so you will need to add your own salsa or salt/pepper to kick if up a notch. The house salsa reminded me more of tomato sauce than salsa but we used the hot sauce provided at each table to help kick it up a notch. It was okay overall and we will likely pick up some breakfast burritos or sandwiches next time we are in the area to take along with us for a walk to the pier/beach. read more
