It's a small place but we were getting take out. We came Sunday around 6:00pm on a holiday weekend and we're told it'd be around 40min. It was about 30min (we think, we don't get service so we just went in and asked). There's a lot to see in the area so the wait isn't bad. OKAY THE FOOD- I got the large#7 and my husband got the #3. Bad! Racist restaurant!! Never come again! We have 10 people come together sat in separate tables and have waited for about 30 minutes to dine in. Our other friends who sat in another table ordered after us but their meal was faster than us. We are very starving after skiing so we expect to eat it as soon as possible. We waited for our noodles for 30 minutes and we are overwhelmed so we asked the waitress how long will it take us to eat the noodle. When we asked the first waitress , she said she's going to ask and haven't response to us in 10 minutes. So we asked another waitress about it and a white female worker who seems like the manager came to us and said "we have heard you guys ask multiple times for your noodle, we are not like other Asian restaurants that you can grab your food immediately!" All of us are Asian people and it is racism to say things like this!!! We are just asking for how long to eat the noodles friendly, nothing else! Is it so hard to answer? What does it has to do with Asian? Is this because you are White people and you see we are Asians so you can judge us like this? So disappointed! While visiting my brother here in Mammoth we were craving noodles after a morning mountain biking. This place absolutely hit the spot. The service was extremely prompt, friendly and accommodating. The place was clean, including the restroom. We each ordered something different and were all extremely happy with what we got. And even tried each other's. Each had a unique flavor profile but still all delicious. I like that there was a pork option, which is a Asian BBQ style pork as well as vegetarian (broth as well). We were able to add either an egg, or mushrooms or bock choy at an extra charge which is a nice option to have. I know I'll come here again when we are in town. Update, changed from 3 stars to 4 stars. Right after I posted this review the owner or manager, called and apologized. Our takeout order did not include everything we ordered. When we called the restaurant to enquirer, the man on the phone said, "oh we mess up orders all the time, you should double check your bag before leaving." He also told us that they ran out of hard boiled eggs, after we had ordered and paid for it. He told us we weren't charged, that isn't what the receipt indicated. It promises a (rather large) portion of carefully constructed hearty broths and noodles with gluten-free, vegetarian and vegan options. The #1 is my go-to with extra Thai basil on the side. Ok so we are from Southern California and are spoiled by good pho. There soup doesn't taste like pho more like water down beef soup. It's not bad after a long day on the slopes with a hot steaming bowl of noodle. Calling this place a pho place is kind of misleading. Came here with friends for lunch. When we all had a taste of our broths, we looked at each other in confusion because the soup had absolutely no flavor. We also asked for a plate of the veggies and they gave us about 5 bean sprouts and 2 limes for the 4 of us. Maybe I'm spoiled by living in orange county and having an abundance of authentic pho restaurants, but this is far from that. I think the store owners might be trying to make a healthy version of their noodle soups? Even so, my portion needed A LOT of chili and hoisin sauce to make it tolerable. On the brighter side, the thai tea was good. It was already pre-mixed and came from a large batch that was made earlier in the day, but regardless it was still yummy. Also was a generous serving size, and the server kindly gave us a togo cup to take the rest! I hope this place can figure out the flavor of their soup because it seems like it's still fairly new! This place is too good not to review. We usually in Mammoth at least 4-5 times a year during snowboarding season. This time we just happened to come for the fall color. We chose to stay here and drive pass Lee Vining to our hiking destination since air quality was so bad. As you all know, while Mammoth is offering year round activity, it lacks a good noodle place. Now, the wait is finally over, this is it! When outside of our comfort zones (OC and LA), we don't expect much. However, Noodle-Ly has exceeded our expectations and beyond. We've ordered #1 and #3. They were regular pho and kao soi. They were so yummy in tummy!!! The broth was so tasty but please don't expect it to have the same aroma as the actual Pho made in So Cal. Their Kao Soi was more like Nam Ngiao (another Northern noodle soup) with rice noodle but it was still on point. Service was courteous. If you happen to be in town on a cold night (or day), I would highly recommend Noodle-Ly. If you're not too picky and think all Pho and other noodle alike should taste the same as original, you will enjoy this place. After all, you're probably at least 150 miles from your best bowl of noodles. read more

The warm welcome when walking as delightful. That welcome even though there were busy. They mentioned they don't do take out yet because they only can accommodate dine in. This was okay with me and my friends. We waited inside and quickly got a table quickly even though other people were also waiting. They worked well together and it was impressive. They then got our food out in a timely manor and it was perfect. It was hot and everything cooked to perfection. I am a vegetarian and I went with the veggie bowl and it was spectacular. Food is good here but you need to give preference to people that actually show up at your restaurant. This is the second time I have had an issue with getting food from this restaurant. This is pretty decent Viet & Thai noodle shop here in Mammoth Lakes. Friendly staff. Quick service (the menu has reduced down to just the noodles dishes). Their beef phở doesn't come with a lot of varieties of beef toppings, just the basic cooked brisket and rare steaks, but the broth is legit in flavor and seasoning. I didn't realize that the khao soi on the menu wasn't Thai but Laotian khao soi. My first time having Lao khao soi so I don't have a good frame of reference for authenticity but taste wise, it's saltier than what I would normally want in a noodle soup. Lots of fresh ground pork though and a few pieces of crispy pork rinds did add flavor to the overall dish. They give generous portions of noodles and broth. We got the regular size bowls and could barely finish. Can't imagine what the Large size be like. read more

This is the best restaurant in Mammoth, and no, I'm not exaggerating. I dined here three times on my last trip here early in the fall, at the height of COVID, and they were extremely hygienic and COVID-conscious, despite my initial hesitation over dining out. Tonight, we took my parents here and the food/service was outstanding as usual; everyone here is genuinely nice. I usually order #3 (khao soi noodle soup) or #6 (Chinese barbecued pork egg noodle soup). Their Chinese barbecued pork is TO DIE FOR--they actually TRIM THE FAT OFF, which most places don't do, and the pork is still super flavorful even after soaking in broth. My parents were beyond pleased with their dishes and we plan on returning tomorrow (and every time we come back to Mammoth). Utensils are in individually wrapped packages. The food was amazing! I did the Noods Noodles and loved how the noodles were cooked just right! Loved the chili sauce. Other people had pho, chicken noodle and pork noodle bowls. Everyone loved theirs as well. Tried the blue tea "Butterfly Pea Flower" tea. Yummy! Server let me taste it to make sure I would like it.
