    STIR-FRY NOODLE

Chicken noodle soup with triangle noodles

Pretty good overall for mall food! I know they have other locations but this was my first time trying Noodle St in general. We got the signature beef noodle soup with standard round noodles, and the chicken noodle soup with triangle noodles. The broths were light, clean, and not overly salty, and both came out piping hot. There was a lot more broth than meat and noodles though and just looked very different from the menu photos so I was a bit disappointed with that. The beef noodle soup broth comes with a clean broth like langzhou style whereas the chicken noodle soup broth comes with a richer milk broth. Both were delicious and I'm glad we ordered both so we could try the different styles.

When I used to live closer to Arcadia, I loved going to Noodle St anytime I was at the Santa Anita Mall. Now, even years later, Noodle St has maintained the same consistency and quality that I remember from a long ago. I really only get their signature beef noodle soup. The broth is very flavorful but adds a lot of room for you to add in other things you like, such as chili oil. The noodles always have a great texture and chewiness to them, with 4 options that you can choose from. I particularly like the combo of daikon and beef slices they have. The wait time was about 20 min on a Saturday at 2pm, which speaks to their popularity when competing against all the other options at the mall! Workers were friendly and polite. I always enjoy visiting this location!

Qinghao cold noodle - it was ok

It wasn't terrible but it wasn't amazing or recommendable. Pros: the food came out extremely fast. No exaggeration, it came out to the table 1-2 minutes after ordering. The staff was efficient, the place was clean, and the price wasn't too expensive. Cons: the food just wasn't amazing. It's not something I would recommend to friends or family. The spicy beef noodle soup lacked flavor and the beef wasn't tender at all. The qinghao cold noodles were better but I wouldn't come back here just for that. Overall, it was a bit disappointing flavor wise.

    SAVORY BRAISED CHICKEN NOODLE

We went on a Friday afternoon but because it was a holiday we had to wait about 20 minutes to be seated. We ordered the spicy beef noodle soup, braised chicken with noodles, scallion pancakes and spicy chicken wontons. We asked for mild on the beef noodle soup but it wasn't spicy at all. Luckily they do provide chili sauce at the table to adjust the spice level. The flavor was a little cilantro/mint forward and it was a little on the salty side. The braised chicken wasn't that spicy either. It was tender and the flavor was good. The scallion pancakes were a little dense and didn't have much flavor to it. Our favorite of our dishes was the chicken dumplings. I think I could have eaten 2 orders of this dish. Overall the speed of service was good. They provide bibs to wear which I would highly recommend wearing since you do end up with splatters from eating noodles. The open space of the restaurant was a little distracting but clean.

Definitely recommend dining in rather than taking out! Decided to give this spot another try and I had a much better experience eating at the restaurant than ordering takeout! Arrived on a Saturday at noon and it was slightly busy but service was attentive and friendly. Loved that the open kitchen setup so I could see the staff making the noodles from scratch! Got the Spicy Beef and Tendon Noodle Soup ($16.50) and I really enjoyed it. I loved that the spice level could be adjusted so I got the mild. There were 4 different noodle options - standard round, flat, knife cut, and triangle. I got the knife cut and it was so fresh and chewy. The broth was rich and flavorful without being too salty or spicy. Wish there were more chunks of beef shank and tendon but not a big deal! Really enjoyed how the beef tendon was very tender and not too fatty. However, the beef shank was a bit too dry and rough in texture for my preference. Overall, I enjoyed the noodles and the broth, as well as the beef tendon! The Signature Beef Noodle Soup ($15.50) was good. Really enjoyed the noodles since I got knife cut so it was very fresh and chewy! Definitely recommend their knife cut noodles! The broth was slightly too salty and I wasn't a big fan of the broth because it tasted a bit minty due to some of the herbs and spices used perhaps? I didn't like the beef since it was too dry and rough but I still ate it all because I don't like wasting food. Overall, I definitely enjoyed the Spicy Beef and Tendon Noodle Soup more than the Signature Beef Noodle Soup. Also, I liked the noodles much more than the broth and beef.

It's been awhile since ive had this place and id really shocked how great everything was. The beef rolls were really flavorful, but slightly too much cilantro for me but still really yummy. The spicy wontons were really great full of flavor and not too spicy. The tomato egg over rice is such a classic Taiwanese dish and this place does it really well. I honestly think this is probably the best food spot in the mall other then ramen nagi. The prices are super reasonable, the service was really fast but couldve been that it was just empty when i went.

Noodle street has some of the best noodles trust me when I say that because I'm a ho for noods. we ordered the Chicken noodle soup and Spicy Beef noodle soup. The knife cut noodles were sooo chewy I absolutely loved it. It's usually busy on the weekend, but it was quite empty when I went. Service was quick and good. Food came out in like 10-15 min. Total for the two bowls were ~$35. Definitely recommending ‍

Signature Beef Noodle Soup with flat noodles. Fun eating with such a big spoon!

Stopped in for a quick meal. Service was prompt and friendly. Enjoyed the signature beef noodle soup but wished there was more beef. Only came with a few slices. Broth was rich and flavorful with the added chili oil and dark vinegar. Came with lots of fresh noodles. You have a choice of: standard round, flat, triangle and knife. The fresh watermelon juice was a great way to end the meal. So sweet and refreshing.

Small open space for Noodle St at the mall right across from Din Tai Fung. Easy to spot and find with delicious handmade and fresh noodles! Pros: -fast service. Received take out order within 15min from ordering at the cashier. Food is packaged nicely and neatly. -delicious food -variety of handmade cut noodles -fresh watermelon juice -open space for table seating makes it feel free -service is friendly -big bonus - own restroom!! Cons: -none I wish they offered a lunch special on weekdays!!

Egg Tomato Handcut Noodles is my absolute favorite! I always get this with a watermelon juice when I'm in town

This is still my favorite go to noodle place. I always order the egg and tomato knife cut noodles. The peach black tea tastes just like Snapple back in the 90s. So nostalgic. The green onion pancake is 5/5. I can munch on these as snack all day. DD loves her dry noodles with minced meat and watermelon juice which can now be sweetened. Came here for an early dinner. No wait. Great service.

This is the second time that I have eaten here, coming on a Saturday with a beautiful sunny day, and meeting up with a couple of girlfriends, one of whom I hadn't seen in eight years! We cheerfully ordered several dishes to share, it was plenty enough food for us. There was enough parking spaces at the Arcadia Westfield Mall, especially if you drive to the first or second level down below street level. The Noodle Street menu has a good selection of noodle dishes and delicious side dishes, the wait staff are nice and friendly, and there was no waiting time for our party of three when we arrived separately. The noodles are cooked freshly upping your order, and you can see one of the chefs shaving the block of dough for the knife cut noodles, he was slicing the noodles pieces into long strips 3" to 4" by 3/8" long. The noodles are nice, thick, and chewy, and I ordered the beef noodle with some tendons, asking for less spiciness for the soup that we shared, each person with our own bowl. The steamed wontons in chili sauce were also nice and chewy with a nice chili oil, yummy. We had the traditional beef rolls, I adored for extra housin sauce, plus we ordered a glass noodle dish that was lightly spicy, and quite delicious. This is a good place to walk around the mall after your meal while you're digesting the food, then we headed to the outside part of the mall to a boba shop called 3Cat, which I heard is famous. Check out the restaurant, you won't be disappointed with the variety of tasty dishes, then you can go walking to the various shops, hang out with your friends while catching up on your lives after that good meal, and then you can sit at the 3Cat place for a milk tea with panne cotta. All in all, the food is good, the atmosphere is good, the staff are nice, and it's a good place to socialize. Enjoy your meal!

Came here bc like was very long at DTF and we were cold and hungry. We were seated right away on a weekend evening after 7p. This was super chill and casual sit down out in the mall. Ordered the signature beef middle soup -- food came out decently fast: noodles and beef were good. Not too salty. If you share it they even give you scissors to cut the noodles and beef too. There wasn't any veggies at all. The beef roll was a bit disappointing -- it's a 3 out of 5 for me. Flavors are ok. Overall service was prompt, though pretty pricey for noodles and beef imho, but it's a decent alternative when you have Live action noodles in the making that you can see through the window :)

They have many classic Chinese dishes at a truly affordable price point. The food: We ordered four different dishes: green beans (v), stir fried egg plants (v), mapo tofu (v), and chicken with rice. For the first three dishes, we clarified with the owner to make this vegetarian (also vegan), which she was able to do very easily and without question. We communicated with her in Chinese, but she also spoke English to us, when we discovered that our Chinese was likely not as fluent as native speakers. Everything was flavorful, without relying on just an overwhelming amount of salt, and we really enjoyed the green beans that seemed to be cooked in fermented bean paste. I found the eggplants particularly tasty too! The service: This small store had so much business, so we did spend some time waiting before we could actually order our meal. The restaurant itself was filled with folks dining in, and there were multiple parties waiting for take out. Even so, once we did order our meal, it didn't take too long for all four dishes to come out. Parking can get tricky here since there's only a small parking structure, so make sure to allow extra time for that!
