Noodle Street can't be beat. Like my review of Noodle Street in Pasadena, this Noodle Street also delivers delicious comforting noodle soup when you need it the most. Believe it or not, however, I think the Arcadia one edges out the Pasadena location with slightly more flavorful broths and spring-ier (or QQ) texture of noodles. We ordered the bone-in rib rice noodle soup, savory braised chicken noodle, beef roll, lamb skewers, and spicy beef noodle. Where to start. The broths and noodles for each of these were amazing, flavorful, and each bite better than the last. The bone-in rib comes with a giant tender beef rib that requires you to use your hands. For the savory braised chicken noodle, I expected the soup and chicken to be on the lighter end, but I was (pleasantly) mistaken as the savory soup activated each of my taste buds. I did not get the spicy beef noodle but from what I was told, it is definitely up there in quality and flavor. Finally, the beef roll and lamb skewers were great compliments to the noodle soup. If you like noodle soup / ramen then you should try Noodle Street. You get to choose the type of noodles. I chose flat noodles. They also have several good appetizers. If someone in your group do not noodles they have other options such as the Korean BBQ with rice. When they say it is spice it is best you believe them. The service was fast and courteous. read more

This is located in Santa Anita Mall across from DTF. It's not an enclosed restaurant.. pretty much an open food court kind of vibe with people walking by. I got the signature beef noodle soup with standard round noodle. You get choose the different type of noodles that they have. The noodles are hand tossed and you can see the chef tossing it around through the kitchen window. Our noodle soups came out pretty quick. The noodles chewy and fresh but the beef is the same as the pho noodle soup beef. There was no other ingredients inside except noodles, a few pieces of beef and cilantro. I think I would've preferred having pho. We also ordered a beef stuffed pancake. This was okay, reminded me of a big dumpling with thicker skin and soup inside. Overall it was soso imo. read more

Since my review, I've been here 10+ times. The prices have had a slight increase and the packaging got a refresh. I've also noticed they double bag when a certain number of to-go items is reached. This was really important as the to-go bag is quite flimsy and I've had the bag rip from the heat and steam and contents spill out of the bottom more than a handful of times. Most importantly, portion size is now pretty consistent. I've included a few pics, I always order the same stuff, so they are all from different orders. A small group of us (4 people) visited Noodle St as guests of another couple. This is one of their favorite places to eat, and they were excited to take us. The service was basic and professional, not warm and welcoming. Based on recommendations from our hosts three of us ordered the beef soup and one ordered fried rice. The rice was rather bland and lacked any seasoning (not even salt). The two who added chili oil to their soup enjoyed it. The one person who didn't, found the soup to have a plastic taste to it. It looks like it really comes down to personal preferences. This location is in the mall, with seating right along the walkway. It is roped off, but one member of our group still got slammed into by a stroller. The consensus was that some of us would return and some of us would not. read more

It was interesting to have the deep red broth to come with not as much flavor as expected. Even though I asked the spicy beef noodle soup to be extra spicy, I barely tasted any spicy. I would say Noodle St is really good for some dishes and not as good for others. Their beef roll was really good! I would definitely come back for that. It was crispy but also soft, the beef was good, had the perfect amount of the hoisin sauce on it. I also ordered the signature beef noodle but wasn't as impressed with this. I thought the noodles themselves were great! Really perfect amount of thickness and chewiness for me personally. However, the broth just didn't taste like beef broth to me and it was really clear. I'm wondering if it was actually chicken broth. I'm used to the classic Taiwanese beef noodle soup which generally has a much darker broth So to recap I would come here to have the beef roll again and the beef noodle soup was good but not exactly great read more

Tomato egg noodle is the yummiest. The egg is sooo soft and silky, and the tomatoes have nice textures. The sauce is thick, savory, sweet, and clings nicely to the thick knife cut noodles. If you have weak chopstick finger, it's a bit heavy to pickup :p Spicy beef noodle soup is pretty refreshing. The meats sink in the bottom so it'll look like there's none, but there's a decent amount. You can choose the type of noodle, we got the flat wide noodle. It's thick and chewy but not bouncy. Passion fruit green tea is not bad, but can be sweeter. We see a lot of watermelon juices in the display, must be big demand. Wait time can be long. Recommend getting on the waitlist. The good: - waiting list system: we put our names down on the iPad and waited for about 20mins for a table, and we got seated shortly after being called. Pretty seamless. - signature noodle soup: broth was really good, and I like that they have different types of noodles, from thin to flat. I must say, the food looked a little different from the picture, but at least it tasted good The bad: - scallion pancake: terrible. It just tasted like bland flour fried in bad oil. Do not recommend. - soy sauce: you'd think that an Asian restaurant would have soy sauce, but they only have the tiny soy sauce packets. They also didn't have any small soy sauce bowls, so we had to pour it directly on the pancakes. - I actually really wanted the bone-in soup, but they ran out Overall it was an okay experience. My boyfriend and I have eaten at this Noodle St location plenty of times. He was born and raised in Taiwan for 24 years, and we have even traveled there together and eaten 牛肉面 (beef noodle soup) across several night markets -- with this all being said, when we're eating beef noodle soup together in the States, we find Noodle St to be a great spot for spicy beef noodle soup! We decided to eat here as a second option. We really wanted to have dinner at Din Tai Fung next door but the wait time was 2-2.5 hrs which was crazy!! So we waited for our table here which had an estimate of 15-20 min. We walked around the mall before getting the notification that our table was ready. We stood at the front and waited a bit more till they seated us. The guy was behind the register with another worker just laughing and chatting while we stood there waiting. After a few minutes passed, I guess he saw us and pointed that we could sit at the end table... didn't even walk us over. We sat down and looked at the menu and it took about another 15 min till someone came by to greet us or take our drink orders. By that time we already knew what we wanted so we ordered. They didn't have what I wanted unfortunately and I was already in a bad mood overall so I ended up just having an iced black tea and the scallion pancakes. My bf had some meat soup thing and the rest of the family had some bulgogi rice bowls. Food came out pretty quickly but the scallions didn't come with any dipping sauce, so dry!! I'm not sure if they don't normally come with sauce or maybe they just forgot? The guy never came back around till the end when everyone was done so I ended up eating my cold scallion pancakes at home with some hoisin sauce. This place is located in the mall and on a Sunday we were seated right away. We ordered the cold noodles as an appetizer and the beef roll and then had the spicy beef noodle soup. The soup wasn't too hot when it came out which was a bit disappointing and hard to finish. Yet, I really enjoyed the cold noodles. It has a lot of sauce but it was not too salty or spicy at all and very refreshing ! The beef roll was nothing special, but it was a bit weird since I felt like the green onions and cilantro were just rolled in raw. What I enjoy about Noodle St. is the Taiwanese culture it has to offer, whether that comes from their delicious beef roll or signature Beef Noodle soup. Although placed conveniently next to the neighboring Din Tai Fung, I'd say that this place gives them a run for their money. Noodle Street is extremely convenient and the portion sizes were generous and to my liking. Service was efficient and attentive and the food was authentic to Taiwanese tastes and flavors. They offer a variety of noodle dishes, some soup base and other stir fried, plus a few rice dishes. I got spicy beef noodle with standard round noodle which was fabulous. Noodles had an excellent texture and chew. The broth had such homey flavor, right amount of spice and super tender beef. I could totally order again. All in all, solid place for noodles. Over the past 5 years, this location's food has been consistently hot, fresh, and delicious. Beef Pancake/Scallion Pancake: this is a must try appetizer/ light meal. It always comes out piping hot, crispy, and well-seasoned. Egg Tomato Noodle: Must try with knife-cut noodle. You get a generous portion of eggs (2-3), and you can taste the fresh tomatoes in the light sauce. Bone-in-Rib Noodles: Instead of the rice noodles, substitute the for standard round, triangle, or knife cut (free of charge). The meat is generous (not one but TWO fall off the bone pieces). Besides the shape of the noodle, both standard round and triangle are made with water, flour, and eggs, while knife cut is made with water and flour. All 3 are made to order here. Qinghai Clear Noodle: By far, the best appetizer. Instead of opting for fries or calamari, get the Qinghai noodles, they will be life-changing. Noodle St has been at the Westfield Santa Anita mall for a while, and I'm glad I finally had a chance to try it. Their watermelon juice and beef noodle soup posters are quite ad-vertising - pun intended. My friends and I came as a party of 8, and we were split into 2 parties of four, so be aware that larger parties probably can't be accommodated. I ordered the cold noodles for myself, and it tasted alright. I think the worst part of experience by far was the service. I had to ask THREE different servers within ten minutes to get a water refill. Additionally, when my table had gotten their food and I was still waiting on mine, I stared as it was ready on the staff pick-up counter. Thankfully cold noodles don't get much colder. The cold noodles tasted as expected, but I don't think the experience was enjoyable after the lackluster service. The dishes here also aren't very clean - see picture. Yum! There is great food everywhere in California, if you didn't grow up here, it's just like another level coming to visit. This Chinese noodle shop is located in the Westfield Arcadia mall. We stopped here for lunch while shopping. The noodles are made fresh to order, and they have a little window into the kitchen, and you can see the chefs pulling the noodles. It's super neat! We ordered potato string shrimp and fried calamari for appetizers. Everything was done really well, the seafood was fresh, and the dipping sauce was great. We ordered seasonal veggie soup with triangle noodles and it was so good! The restaurant provided sanitized scissors for cutting the noodles. I got watermelon juice to drink - straight up pure watermelon, no sugar added. Super yummy, I will definitely come here again! This was my first noodle experience at a chain restaurant, and I thought it was very good! My old perception was that good noodles only exist at mom-and-pop restaurants. But I would definitely come back to Noodle Street for a quick lunch or when I'm craving for some good noodles. The place is clean and the service is good. Late post - - I was here on 12/29/22 Would have easily given them a 5 star rating, but they were out of one of their most popular items when we arrived at 7:30 p.m. For starters, the Asian marinated cucumbers were INCREDIBLE! So flavorful and after the 4 of us shared, I finished up every speck trying to figure out the secret ingredient, which I kept thinking over and over was a fair amount of vinegar. I ordered the beef rolls, which I thought I'd only be able to eat 1:4 pieces, but I was easily able to polish off two. The meat is seasoned very well and the wrap is crispy (my favorite texture). There is a LOT of cilantro and green onion in here, (probably a filler), but regardless, still very tasty. The other three in my party all had different kind of noodles. You get to pick from 4 types (see photos) and each noodle dish was different. Their signature, cold and spicy. Everyone seemed to enjoy their choice. We were about ~40 miles away from home, but I'd highly recommend this place, if you're in the area. Yes, even though I'm not a noodle fan, I'd go again...there is life after noodles. Loved the knife cut noodles here!! The noodles are so fat and thick, very chewy texture. I really enjoyed to tomato egg noodle, gave a lot of egg and tomato's were very yummy, it was not too ketchupy and tasted very fresh. So we came here on a Sunday afternoon right after church. We wanted to try Din Tai Fung but it was way too busy so eneded up coming here to Noodle St and I'm so glad we came here instead. I like that you can put yourself on the wait list on here on Yelp. We only had like 5 parties ahead of us and we only waited like 25 minutes. It kinda reminded me of a Vegas restaurant LoL I like that you can see the chefs making the noodles even if your just shopping around. I ended up getting the Spicy Beef Noodle ($15.50) with triangle noodles and it was sooo good. We also got the Beef Stuffed Pancake ($7.80) so which was good but they kinda over did it with the green onions and cilantro.
