While waiting for our table we wondered up to the 3rd floor. They had live music. The place was jumping up there. We are going to have to look up who is going to be playing and have another married date night. The only downside to the evening was unfortunately the host at the front door. He was rude and severely lacking in communication skills. If anything else had me "meh" I would have taken stars away but everything else made up for his shortcomings.

We were missing an entire rack of ribs, my husband's Chicken Fried Chicken dinner was replaced with chicken tenders, the sides were wrong, and we received only 2 croissants instead of the 3 that came with our order. Because my husband's meal was missing, we ended up having to make another trip and buy him dinner from McDonald's. To make matters worse, the food we did receive was burnt, overly salty, and honestly not worth eating. The biggest disappointment was customer service. We were promised a refund for the mistakes, but that never happened. Between the incorrect order, missing food, wasted time, extra travel costs, and an unfulfilled promise of a refund, this was one of the worst restaurant experiences we've had. We expect mistakes to happen occasionally, but how they're handled is what matters--and Cheddar's completely dropped the ball. We won't be back.

We all received samples of the soup and the poblano soup was a table favorite! Our food was delicious as well as our waitress. We loved the evening Happy Hour on a Saturday evening. Only complaint was it was entirely too humid in the restaurant, so much so that we were miserable in that sense. Everyone constantly had to wipe the water glasses off before taking a drink. The fish has potential, but it was borderline SALTY. It was fried nicely and definitely was seasoned, but it was tiny for the price. The krinkle cut fries were hot and crisp. I like the fries more than the fish. They give you a generous portion of fries. My order did come out hot and fast. Overall it's ok and I give it 3 STARS.
