Updating my review from 6 years ago! So this place has been my go to place for my all and any occasion cake needs. I enjoy trying their seasonal flavors but my absolute favorites are Oreo cookies and crème, strawberries and crème and red velvet. I love ordering through the app for all my future orders it's so convenient and you can keep track of your points. They've been offering a lot of BOGO lately it's really worth it when you sign up for their rewards to stay in the loop. If you don't order a head of time the wait is usually 15-20mins. It's a small store front so it can get crowed on a busy day. The ladies are really nice, helpful and they get the lines going. Some days they offer samples. The cakes always come out so consistent in flavor and moist. Some days I do request for light frosting because the frosting can be overwhelming sweet but I really do love their cakes. They never disappoint.

Wanted to get a little sweet treat for my sister's birthday. A little Bundt cake is perfect for her. They are currently having their biscoff flavor cake which is a seasonal item that the staff recommended! I think my sister is going to love it. The staff was super helpful and friendly. I love it here.

Moist, delicious and totally worth the price

Service is always so fast. You can pretty much get any question you have answered by their knowledgeable staff. Their Bundt cakes are always so fresh and delicious. They have the cutest shop with unique items for any occasion if you haven't tried, don't take my word for it give them a go.

Haven't used their app yet, but the points go there now. Love their choices and their monthly flavor. The only thing was a person cut in front of me and they didn't do much. Suggestion: Maybe to have a sign?!?! Other than that, I do enjoy their cakes here.

Never had a bad bundt ever! Love all the flavors especially the seasonal ones. The cream cheese frosting is just sweet and tangy enough. Service has always been nice and if there is a line it goes by pretty fast. They have cute decorations you can purchase as well. Such a lovey spot.

So addictive! I don't think I've tried a bundles that I didn't enjoy. My favorite is the red velvet. They keep taking all my money.

From the moment you walk in, there is a sense that baking here is not just a craft -- it is an art form. There is something magical about stepping into a French bakery, and Parisien Bakery delivers that feeling in full. The French have elevated baking into a cultural experience of indulgence and beauty, and it is on proud display here. Approach the glass case, and it feels like browsing a gallery of edible masterpieces: pastel-colored macarons stacked like delicate jewels, glossy fruit tarts shimmering under the lights, and éclairs lined up with precise elegance, each filled with silky, decadent cream. Sweet Highlights The sweet selections are where Parisien truly shines. Standouts include: Sweet crêpes Éclairs Macarons Croissants Maple cronut Fruit tarts Turnovers Each item showcases careful craftsmanship, balanced sweetness, and visual presentation that rivals high-end patisseries. Their French Roast coffee is bold, robust, full-flavored, and always piping hot -- the perfect companion to any pastry. Savory Options On the savory side, the breakfast sandwiches, omelet croissants, breakfast popper, and the Parisien sandwich are all solid and satisfying choices. While well-prepared, they do not quite reach the same magical heights as the sweet offerings. The croque monsieur and croque madame are especially intriguing and worth trying on a future visit. Atmosphere & Experience The ambiance is cozy and charming, laid out to be reminiscent of a sidewalk café in Paris. With both indoor and outdoor seating -- including street-side dining -- it is an inviting place to linger. A glassed-in kitchen allows guests to watch pastries being crafted in real time, adding a layer of authenticity and appreciation for the skill behind each creation. Warm, friendly service rounds out the experience, making it easy to see why this bakery remains a local favorite. Parisien Bakery is not just a place to grab breakfast or dessert -- it is a small escape into French culinary artistry right in the heart of Old Town Clovis.

The coffee here isn't as flavorful as Chez Maryse either but I did like that there's more vegetarian options, the prices are decent, and food not too greasy. While I was too stuffed for dessert, I was told that desserts are tasty. It's not a big place so on a cold day there are very few tables inside. But it's still a decent place for brunch while exploring Downtown Clovis and just across the street from the most bomb antique shop :)

My dad made these for me as a kid and anytime I see them in the wild, I have to try it. The bierocks made were just ok. The pastry is great, but the filling was a little bland and way too heavy on the cabbage. But what the bierocks lacked, the donuts made up for by a million! We ordered a cruller, maple, glazed, old-fashioned, a glazed twist, and a chocolate cake doughnut. Just based off our order, you can tell there were no children with us, lol. The cruller donut was perfection. Airy and super soft with it almost melting in your mouth before the first bite. The old-fashioned donut (which are my favorite) was incredible! It was surprisingly light, for a cake doughnut, and had a thick layer of maple glaze. I think the layer was about an eighth of an inch, which for icing is bonkers. Even Peter North himself would be humbled by this glazing technique. Is this the most unassuming donut shop in all of the land? Maybe not the land, but at least in Clovis. We also picked up knafeh and diamond shaped baklavas. Perfect chew, crunch and sweetness. So freakin' good! You can tell the owner is passionate about his craft. He asked us if it was our first time there, then took the time to share samples with us. So welcoming and friendly! I can see why this place has a nearly perfect yelp rating. Like pork buns are 3.00 cash and 3.09 credit card. But at least that's an option now. Warmly greeted and helped at the front counter when I walked in. Looks like a traditional Chinese bakery with their decor and set up and heard the front counter lady say their food is more based on the south side of China. Their steam pork buns will always be a favorite. I was lucky enough to walk in when they brought out a fresh new batch so it was still nice and warm when I got home. Dough is sweet and fluffy with their bbq pork filling. For 3.00 a bun, it was quite smaller than I remember. The ratio of the dough and filling was also not as portioned. Some bites you just get the dough. First time having their steam chicken buns and was surprised to see that it was sliced chicken with veggies and a slice boiled egg. This was not it for me. It was like eating a stir fry in a bun. Though this bun was bigger and more portioned than the steam pork buns. This was also my first time trying their Shumai dumplings. The flavor was there. A nice umami flavor. But I was missing the bouncy texture of the meat. And for 4 for 7.00 they were pretty small (compared to the dim sum places). Looking forward to trying other others on their menu now that the menu and signs are easier to see/read.

The food was great and decently priced. She ordered an iced coffee, I got the iced Americano. I ordered "dads breakfast" (French toast!) and she ordered the crossan'wich. Both were great. The restaurant was extremely busy, so I do recommend making reservations ahead of time. The service could have been a little better, but considering how packed it was, it felt more overwhelmed than rude. One thing to know ahead of time: Diet Cokes come in cans, not fountain drinks, so there are no refills. The biggest disappointment for us was the limited menu selection that day. There were mostly sandwiches and not a lot of variety. I ordered the quiche, which ended up needing extra sauces on the side because it felt a little plain on its own. My husband ordered the French toast, and that was actually very good. Ambiance was alright - a little cramped but the live music gave it a touch of class. Overall, I'd still recommend trying this place, just maybe not on a major holiday when the menu is limited and the restaurant is packed. I'd be willing to give it another shot on a normal weekend because I have a feeling the regular menu probably offers a much better experience.
