The food was very unpleasant to eat. It did not look clean inside the building. I'm pretty sure I seen her grab semi-cooked food from beneath the bottom shelving unit that probably should have been refrigerated. I was given the wrong order that I did not notice until I arrived home. First time here- RIBS AND Rangoon's . I decided to order this combo at a few different Chinese restaurants around me and see who did what and who's I liked better. This was the best so far. The ribs themselves were meaty the meat itself had a good flavor and they were nicely cooked so the meat came off of the bone much easier than others. They could have used more sauce .. I got a few naked ones but the meat was moist. Rangoons- they were nicely fried, they had nice crab flavor. Could have used a tad more filling if I'm getting picky. If this is a side you get with every order of Chinese food like I do then you understand that the filling varies per restaurant along with the sweet and sour sauce. This sauce was nicely sweetened and a good consistency. ( that may sound odd but I have had some from other places that tased like it was sweetened with something other than pineapple juice and have seemed watered down or off so I try to comment) WILL ORDER AGAIN !!!! read more

It's not the worst Chinese food... but definitely not great. We ordered the orange chicken, sesame chicken, spring rolls, lumpia and the crab Rangoon. The lumpia did not meet the usual lumpia standard it was more like a spring roll. Spring rolls were on par. Not a huge fan of the Rangoon. The chicken was decent as well as the egg roll. So good! I decided to try this place finally and so glad I did! Orange chicken made with dark meat, not chicken trash. There were some nice crispy pieces with good texture and a savory thick orange sauce. The fried rice in the combo was tasty and the egg roll was good too. The lady at the front counter was very nice. We were on a road trip to the outer banks and stopped by for dinner. What a Diamond in the rough! They not only had really good food, but generous portions and lots of selections. Lost a star because we asked for fried rice with sausage and they sent white rice with kielbasa smothered in brown gravy without contacting us or telling us they did not carry it any more. Even a different fried rice would have been better. The dish was part of a hundred dollar order and was for the little kids who would eat nothing else so it was a total waste. My usual delivery place lady got mad at me because I questioned her arithmetic and refused to take my order so I decided to give this place a chance. I've ordered from a few other other local places but have been disappointed. First, they had Moo Shoo which is not available most places. It was fabulous! The Sweet and Sour soup was well flavoured but the tofu was too soft. I also ordered 2 Spring Rolls which were also well flavored and delicately cooked, not oily. Not the best Chinese takeout I've ever had but was far from the worst. Fair prices, large portions. Extremely small egg rolls. The General Tso's chicken tastes like the stuff from Wal-Mart... not disgusting but just not great. However, the Crab Rangoon / cheese wontons were absolutely amazing. I order from this location on a regular basis, so I was very disappointed with the peppersteak that I ordered last week. I continue to question the meat that definitely was not steak, it had the texture of a sponge. I was unable to digest that meal so with that being said, I'm done with number one Chinese. read more

My rule is never call somewhere after 30 mins to close. I know what it's like. That said I called to place a small order prior to 30 mins close and was told " sorry we are closing" I've lived near and ordered from them many times.
