Bustling bake shop near the heart of Times Square.....I almost walked right by it lol. There are so many options to choose from you can buy a 6", 8" or I believe 12". If that's too much just choose a slice. The only real problem I encountered was the girls at the register who it appeared didn't speak English so well (that's why I gave the 4 star rating). When I pointed and said "I would like that cake" she replied "you can't have it". It was a bit of a challenge to get her to understand (which all could have been avoided because the two guys behind the counter were speaking perfect English). But 5 minutes in I think she understood I wanted to make a purchase. I don't eat chocolate but my mother loved the cake. I will say that it seemed like more layers of buttercream than actual cake but the birthday gal loved it so at the end of the day choosing NY Bakery and desserts was a good choice. There are no seats inside but everything is beautifully displayed and well laid out.

This bakery and deserts store is located right off the edge of Times Square, and they open 24/7. By the time I visited, it seems they closed the table section and were cleaning the store, so it smelt very strong bleach, and I assume normal time it would have been a better experience.

Amazing bakery! The variety of cakes, donuts cheese cake, cupcakes, cookies and pastries was insane! The service was pretty good. The ambience was nothing special. But the chandelier they had hanging was beautiful. The chocolate fountain was interesting. They also had coffee, hot chocolate, espresso. I ordered a fruit tart , some flan , and 2 Dubai chocolate bars .Next time I'm in New York I will definitely be going back.

We came across a charming bakery while walking through Times Square, which is definitely super touristy. It's open 24 hours a day, and all the employees were incredibly friendly. If only the cakes tasted as good as my experience with the staff! I ordered two double chocolate cakes and a cheesecake but found the chocolate cake too sweet. It was a cute little spot, but I probably won't return.

Friday, 6/6/2025 - tried "NY Bakery & Desserts TSQ" in Time Square area. Address is 1580 Broadway, Manhattan, NY 10036. Cute little desert shop. They have what looked like a chocolate waterfall. Lots of goodies for sale Ave gelato. I got to try the Dubai chocolate ice cream. It was good. Very rich. A little too sweet for me. But my friend lpved it. The cashier was really nice to us.

Mold under the frosting and in the bread.

While it was super convenient to get a full cake without earlier reservations, the cake just came out of the fridge where it was nearly Frozen. The jam was a full gummy skin on the top making it difficult to slice. The bread had black mold in it. Spit that isht out real quick! Ambiance was gorgeous. Music was great. The two attendants look sexy. But the main product....not the business.

Do you have those friends who visit New York City and, no matter how many times they've been here, still insist on doing all the 'touristy' things? Those were the vibes tonight. After being pulled through all through the chaos that is Times Square, one of my friends channeled her inner former Vice President Kamala Harris and insisted that we get something sweet. [Reference: https://www.instagram.com/reel/C_RcmXUgv1X/] Much to my surprise, there was a 24-hour dessert shop just around the corner, so we popped in. The music was bumping, a nice continuation of a few bars we had been previously in the night. We were seriously dancing so hard it took us 20 minutes to decided which desserts we would partake of. We settled on sharing the cannoli cake, the triple chocolate cake, and a red velvet cupcake. They were all actually quite nice... and yes, dare I say it, moist? (Sorry, couldn't resist ). My favorite was the cannoli cake. I did not know if I wanted a real cannoli or a slice of cake, and this was an excellent marriage of both. The textures and tastes were the real deal. And the serving sizes are gigantic, so you had better share. Looking forward to coming back.

A super duper bakery ... fantastic location. Right next to Times Square and M&M chocolate world. Was craving cakes and this was a perfect place . A little expensive but ok once in a while .. service was good . There were a few tables inside to sit and eat . They also had ice creams .. We ordered few stuffs - just loved the Nutella filled croissant ... was reallyyyyyyyy good .. was about 8-9$ but good for 2-3 of us to share . .. we also got ice creams and kids loved it . We also got few cakes - strawberry cake was really good . Wanted to give 4 stars but it deserves a 5 star .. little pricey but good .

Huge selection of sweets, cakes and all kinds of desserts. Walls and walls of temptation! They are right on the street so it's easy to get to. They are open late so you can have a late might dessert

This place is just too beautiful and blooming! The staff were really nice. The prices are good and the interior is well put together. You can get some really cute little gifts here and satisfy a sweet tooth.

The place looked very cute and there was seats in there. They have drinks there like teas and coffees. A lot of variety of cakes, cookies, cheese cake and Macaroons and pies. The only thing is I think their may be a language barrier, both girls were so sweet but I asked for the chocolate strawberry cake and they gave me the truffles cake. I said it a few times and told them I wanted that one and I was like never mind the line was getting long. I even asked about the strawberry shortcake, asked if it comes with a lid and they never answered me, so I was like I'll take it, and they gave me something else instead. I didn't get some things I actually wanted but that's okay. I was down to try them. Now the taste: The pistachio cannoli wasn't that good. It was bland and I love pistachio desserts. The strawberry cake, was one of the best strawberry cakes I've had. As someone who travels for a living and tried so many of these cakes from all over, this cake was definitely the top 5, very Moist perfect cream and strawberries. The chocolate cake truffles I don't know how that tastes, it's a gift for someone. I still recommend, it can be pricy! They are at a great location as well!

A surprise hit for yummy desserts a stone's throw from Times Square -- my friends and I looked up 'desserts near me' and wandered in on a whim, but this ended up being delicious and fun to share! The folks working here are very sweet, and they have a large selection of packaged baked goodies. There's a few tables and chairs, and we ate in-store. The Tres Leches slice was SO good, milky and delicious. The Chocolate Cake was a big hit -- it was so rich without being too much, as chocolate cakes sometimes are. I would stop by if in the area!

The service was so good and the desserts were also very delicious. I got banana cheesecake and tea and I liked both.

I heard they have a good rainbow cookie! I left with 8 rainbow cookies and 1 slice of coconut cake. I schlepped them on the L, then the C, and all the way to the UWS. I put the box in the refrigerator and sampled the goods a little later. The rainbow cookies are fine but the coconut cake is where it's at! It's 3 layers with thick icing and lots of coconut. When we went, it wasn't busy so we were greeted and helped immediately. The staff was nice and helpful despite what other reviews said. They have so many options of cheesecake flavors but I just wanted the plain. They also have other desserts and when I saw the cherry butter cookies I had to get some. Everything was delicious and it held up very well with our travel back to Koreatown area and the flight home to Florida. I have a core memory of cheesecake that was crust less from my childhood that my mom used to get and keep in the freezer. I've been searching for that unique flavor and this is it! I finally found it. They have seating where you can dine there as well as some tables outside. Very easy to find and beautiful building. Highly recommend!

I had to run to work after an appointment so I ordered for takeout. The person taking my order was friendly. I opted for the Lumberjack and a black cold brew. I received the drink very quickly, with a short wait for the sandwich. While waiting, one member of the staff stocking up supplies on the side started chatting with me and then she offered to check up on my sandwich. She came out with it shortly thereafter. She was very friendly and helpful. The sandwich held up well during my 15-minute commute to the office. It is a really indulgent sandwich, with each bite revealing the sweetness and butteriness of the maple crueller, the saltiness of the thick cut bacon, and the savoriness of the cheese and the eggs as the yolks popped. I sipped the cold brew in between bites to cut the richness. It was a very satisfying meal. The Lumberjack is not something I would recommend you eat every day, but it's good as an occasional treat. In the past I've ordered lunch from Daily Provisions via delivery (the "Chefy" salad and the chicken milanese with arugula salad are my favorites), but I might start adding other breakfast sandwiches to the mix.

I had never heard of the place before, but I was happy to give it a try -- and I'm so glad I did. From the moment you walk in, the experience feels special. The store has two beautiful double doors that create such a grand entrance, and once inside, you immediately feel the energy. The place was bustling with people, and everyone seemed happy and excited -- from the customers to the team behind the counter and the baristas. The cookie case was overflowing with so many amazing choices that it was hard to decide! I ended up getting the Rocky Road cookie, a Double Chocolate Chip cookie, a Two Chip Chocolate Chip cookie, and a blueberry muffin to enjoy for breakfast the next morning. The service was absolutely impeccable, and everyone I interacted with was warm, friendly, and delightful. When I got home, I had half of the Rocky Road cookie with a cup of tea, and it was incredible. The cookie was large and chunky but still perfectly enjoyable -- not heavy or overwhelming. It literally melted in my mouth. The chocolate was rich and smooth, and every bite was just delicious. The next morning, I tried the blueberry muffin, and it was just as impressive. It was light and airy, not overly sweet like many blueberry muffins can be. It truly felt like a breakfast pastry. The blueberries tasted fresh and burst with flavor in every bite. I will definitely be back for more cookies. This was such a wonderful find, and I'm so happy my coworker introduced me to this place!
