This was an impulse purchase to objectively compare I'm Donut in Times Square's nama donut to what a regular donut elsewhere in NYC looks like. The day after I visited I'm Donut, it was 5:30am at Starbucks store opening time just across 6th so I had my iced coffee with oatmilk tucked into the tender crook of my elbow as I was headed back up 6th when I walked by this storefront and the colourful, sensual visage of the donut called out to me through the glass. I saw the donut, it registered, I turned the corner on 37th heading back towards Lex, and then stopped, turned around, and went back to purchase the colourful donut. I didn't even know it was cream filled, it was a beautimous donut and I needed to investigate this dame like my name was Dixon Hill. This shoppe was oddly busy at 5:31am after the Starbucks, but this is the city that never sleeps apparently, it just takes a lot of weed naps. I liked that they did not boo and hiss at me for having my Starbucks iced coffee in this store, given that this joint is mainly a coffeeshop and not a donut shop, but they do incidentally have donuts and if my yelp account doesn't make it obvious, I am having a bit of a donut year this year. I guess that's what happen when you almost die in Japan, spend a week in the hospital, and sort out your priorities during your downtime. Donuts = good, basically everything else I had going on in my life = bad. There, I saved myself time and money at the shrink. The store was very clean. I liked that. Given that I had never been in a PB before and did not know how it works, they could have used better signage explaining the process. I was just fumbling around on the back wall by myself trying to figure out how to get this donut in to-go fashion without any utensils, directions, or otherwise. I found a slip of wax paper, wrapped it up myself since this seems like a self serve situation, and joined the queue to check out. After I paid at the till I tucked the colourful donut in wax paper into the tender crook of my non-Starbucks iced coffee elbow and hoofed it back to where I could eat it whilst watching Futurama. Now that is the breakfast of champions at 5:35am. The presentation of the donut is 10/10 full stop. This baddie literally stopped me in my tracks on 6th when I already had an iced coffee with oatmilk. It takes a lot to distract me from my one iced coffee of the day since most days I say that drinking my iced coffee is as good as my day is ever going to get and it is only downhill from there. This donut is beautimous, it seems a crime to actually bite into it. It is an incredibly doughy donut. It is not as moist as the nama style donut. My tasting notes are less dough. This is such a huge monstrosity it actually took several bites of dough until I discovered there was cream when I worked my way deep enough inside. That was a nice surprise since I'm Donut was out of the creme filled, so I got it here the next day. The cream absolutely made up for the over-doughed situation. The cereal pieces and the cream made this an excellent donut, it was just too much dough. The cereal donut is $4.99 including tax and all the other nanny state nonsense that goes into purchases in the city. Worth every penny. Next time you get your iced coffee across the street, walk by the window of this store and the donut will stop you in your tracks as well. Listen to your heart-stomach synergy and briskly sashay in to get your donut too. read more

I was intrigued by the logo since it looked like a Bitcoin. I had higher expectations for this pastry cafe but sadly my selections were just ok. I got the chocolate croissant which was ok, it was missing the light flakiness that I was expecting. I also got a mocha latte and it was way too sweet for my taste. Service was good. They didn't interact but I got my mocha fairly fast. Lots of seating so it's a good place to relax and enjoy your pastries and coffee. Prices were affordable. read more

I love Paris Baguette in NYC! I've visited a few of there locations while visiting the city and I always have to grab a few to enjoy there and to go. I didn't care too much for the vanilla Cold brew and asked the barista to change it out for me. He wasn't too pleased but o Explained it taste so bitter I couldn't even sweeten it. I got a hot chocolate and it was delicious . The bathroom at this location was very clean and the tables were also clean. This was nice a quiet and small bakery that was down the street from hotel. The staff were friendly and quickly checking each guest out. The bakery was filled with aroma of baked goods and a variety goods. The vegan menu presented muffins chocolate and blueberry. However the blueberry was out and the chocolate was moist and rich. There was plenty of seating even with the morning rush and I took a stool that gave me the outside view of NewYorkers on their daily commutes. Definitely a gem! Convenient location in midtown and easy to get. Came here after dinner to pick up a sweet treat or two. Plenty of options to chose from cakes to pastries... They all look delicious and with some new seasonal additions. Decided on apple pie and apple mochi donut to go. Staff was friendly and check out is quick. Don't forget to scan your Paris Baguette app to earn points towards next rewards. Both the apple pie and mochi donut were good, apple pie was better of the two. This is one of the many NYC locations of this South Korean bakery chain. This particular location is small compared to other ones. There is some seating and a couple of outdoor tables as well, but it is still relatively cramped. The food is on the right hand side as you enter. It is self serve with prongs and trays to choose what you want. The items have been divided into convenient categories to make it easy. You have sandwiches and salads, pastries with meat, and pastries with no meat. We tried several pastries from here and they were of the same, high quality that I have found at other Paris Baguette locations. read more

We wanted to celebrate my friend's birthday this past weekend so we ordered a BLUEBERRY CHIFFON cake for her. It was a bit difficult to communicate with the staff (some back and forth and cake switching due to lack of availability and preferences). Overall, PB could have a better system to change or cancel orders. At the end of the day, the cake was delicious. The cake was ready to pick up by the time I arrived. I stopped by here on New Years because I was on my way to Bryant Park and wanted a little snack. I believe this Paris Baguette is new and recently opened up. The interior is very clean and organized. There are not many tables to sit at, so it may be a bit difficult to find seating if they are busy. The employees are friendly and happy to answer any questions. I ordered 2 chai lattes and 2 raspberry fruit pastries. I really like the raspberry fruit pastry because it was the perfect amount of sweetness. The raspberries didn't taste unfresh/old either. The chai latte was good, but I do wish it was a bit sweeter. It seemed like there was very mininal amount of sugar added into it and mainly milk. So, if you would rather have a drink that isn't too sweet, I would recommend the chai latte. Overall, I had an amazing experience here and would definitely come back if I am in the area. read more

This is a new bakery place in the midtown area and I checked in to see what they offered. I didn't have the appetite to try out a lot, so settled for a Silky milk bun alone. The shop looked clean and spotless. The bakery items were well stacked and easy to follow for purchasing. I took one of the buns and kept it near the register for the attendant to check out. But the lady at the count picked up my milky bun and added it to the order of another lady whom she was checking out. When I informed her that it was mine, she realized and called out another employee to do a reversal. It took them some time to figure out how to fix it and send us our ways. The milky bun was very soft and delicious, but the whole shopping experience for just a single bun was so lengthy that seemed as if I went out on a weekly grocery shopping.
