Just on our way home from a nice long New England vacation, needed lunch. Tried some phony yee-ha western wannabe restaurant around the corner - limited menu, predatory beer prices, loud music on the restaurant speakers - NOPE. Checked out UNO - short staffed, water damaged, had a wait of half an hour in spite of being 2 of the18 people IN THE BUILDING. PASS. Walked into a promising Mexican restaurant across the street, got seated, then waited, and waited...and waited. SEE YA. Headed back to our car, convinced that we'd be eating lunch an hour later in Hartford. Spotted this place, felt right. It was. Very good beer selection, priced fairly. Lots of menu choices for food, we picked a burger with salad for her, I had a chopped salad and an order of "Dem Drummies" (very tasty BBQ chicken drumsticks.) All was good. Very nice people, very good service, tasty food. I was FRIGGIN' FLOORED when I found out they opened only four weeks earlier. This WILL be Worcester's HOT SPOT. read more

They cross contaminate it's not actually gluten-free. They lied to customers. I wouldn't recommend it to go to that place at all. Only for their concerts. And the people who work there need new people. None of them are nice. Surprisingly nobody's gotten sick yet. I shouldn't even be able to put a star, that's how bad it is. read more

Tried this new place tonight. The owner of the Worcester Railers Hockey Club (ECHL affiliate of the NY Islanders) opened up this place about a month ago. It's a Nashville-themed restaurant/bar that's got a great layout, really well trained, friendly and attentive staff, live music (even if it's mostly country, not my fav) and some great southern options on the menu. With the layout difficult for live music, they cleverly used CC TVs to show the live show in all rooms. Great use of real wood in the bar too, I love that. Eleanor & Justin behind the bar were terrific. Ticket times were outstanding, almost too fast! The food was fresh good, but not great, but with all the other +'s, they will work that out I'm sure. We tried the shrimp and grits, Seafood 'po boy and the chicken tenders. We'll be back! read more

I CANNOT BELIEVE THIS PLACE IS IN WORCESTER. So many themes - so many dive bars - so much of the same - and finally a refreshing restaurant/venue that is ACTUALLY true to a country themed bar. Live music is fantastic - we tried nearly the entire menu and nothing disappointed. The cocktail menu has a Tennessee Tea on it which we loved (I'm sure this changes but added a screen shot below). They're crazy busy on weeknights - but our fav time is weekends. The walls open into the outdoor space, the acoustics in here are awesome, and everyone working seems to genuinely like being here. Please ya'll - let's not let this place fall victim to Covid. I know many New Englanders balk at country - but for those who don't - make this a stop. read more

On a busy night I order the ribs, which was one of the specials. I usually ask if they are "fall off the bone" ribs but I forgot. Honestly, I couldn't eat them, as they were too tough. Either they were old, or way undercooked. The fries and slaw were good. It was a good thing I wasn't very hungry. read more

On April 19th,2023 I reserved dinner with the venue to follow on Saturday night, 4/22/23 to see Weed Wine and Whiskey for my birthday. When I called to make a payment for the show at 7pm, I spoke to, Dan Millett. He wished me a happy birthday because I had written it in the memo. He booked our dinner for 5:30 and comped my venue ticket. When we got there he couldn't be nicer. Chris the other owner couldn't have been more accommodating. The food and venue was Awesome. This place was great! Staff was very friendly and efficient. We had several sandwiches: seafood PoBoy, friend chicken and brisket bomb. All were outstanding. Also the pickle chips are delicious. The Nashville hospitality is missing from this place. We waited at the hostess stand while multiple staff walked by us and never once acknowledged us. I finally asked the guy if there was a wait and he told us there was no seating without a reservation even though multiple tables in the bar were open. This was such a cool restaurant. We are in town from NY for a cheer competition at the DCU and stumbled across this restaurant. It brought me back to Nashville and all the Honky Tonks on Main Street. The servers were very kind as was the host. He told us that there was a long wait due to the overwhelming amount of people here for the competition and let us know the kitchen was backed up. We decided to wait because we just wanted to sit and hang. They were extremely accommodating and apologetic for the wait but we enjoyed the food, ambiance and drinks. Rating the service and the food. Can't speak for the drinks or the bar staff. Young college kids not well trained serving tables. We ASKED for silverware. It was never delivered. Had to fetch from the bar ourselves. Empty glasses never refilled. Our app was brought out with our dinner. Brisket was shoe leather. Paying $20 per car in the adjacent lot was simply insult to injury. There was no way with two cars we were going to continue to pay $10/each for a cover to see music. Left broke and disappointed. Not impressed at all. We watched the same 3 servers walk by us about 5 times before one asked if we had been helped yet. The club soda tasted funny. The unsweetened tea was watery. Appetizer of steak and cheese egg rolls came out seconds before our food when she specifically said she stagger them but it didn't matter because they were awful. Could tell they were frozen and fried, so greasy and taste bad. The cheese sauce they came with already had a film on the top. The bacon jam burger was ok, very greasy, nothing special. Onion rings were frozen and fried and greasy. The Mac and cheese is pretty bad, watery and tasteless. The BBQ is ok. Cornbread is bland, green beans were over seasoned with salt. Not bad barbecue in the middle of Worcester. First I will say there's only a pay parking lot or limited on-street spots. I don't eat in Worcester often but I've never had to pay for parking. Service was polite but extremely slooooowwww with a half empty dining room. I had a pulled pork sandwich which was tasty. I had their bbq sauce on the side and it was very tasty with a little kick. I liked the option of having greens (salad) as an option with a sandwich instead of just fries; but i regret spending $5 on a side of grits because I am a grits snob and these were 1. not cooked well and 2. had no flavor. Others in my group had salads, and sandwiches which were good. All agreed there was nothing really special but generally good. I can't say it was bad but I gave 3 stars because of the slow service and paid parking, and because frankly I've had better bbq in other area restaurants! read more

Went for lunch I've heard very mixed reviews of this place so I took a chance. They have a great location and live music which makes for a nice atmosphere. Seemed like most of the patrons were Worcester Railer fans. Their menu has a bbq joint theme but also serves brunch on the weekends. We ordered the coconut marg , peach sangria along with the fried chicken sando and classic burger. My girlfriend loved her coconut marg but the chicken sando was dismal. The peach sangria was average and classic burger was below average. Their menu prices were also quite steep for the dishes you get. Overall, this place has alot of potential but with some many options to dine in Worcester it may be an afterthought. read more

well this is a site of many restaurants and this time a very neat one, nice bar and a couple of dining areas, interesting Nashville country theme with gold records and guitars decorating, service very pleasant and attentive but we were in as they opened....chicken sandwich, chicken app and shrimp and grits were all tasty and nicely presented...they are in the process of building a country music music hall in addition to the present facility..this would have easily been a 5 rating but 17$ for a medium sized martini just seems excessive!!! Fried pickles were a good start but it went downhill quickly after. Side salad was warm. House ranch tasteless. Fried chicken sandwich was literally chicken tenders with a bit hot sauce on toast. So dry I simply could not eat it. Btw didn't even take it home for our dog.... And that says a lot. The steak was chewy an over cooked the baked beans - ok. Not the Worst but lacked flavor. Overall. So I gave this at 3 because it could improve and some of it was expected. I went to off the rails with a buddy of mine this past week. They have small plates and large plates and our plan was to just order a couple appetizers and have some drinks and listen to the music and if we were still hungry get a couple more. The prices were on the high side for what we were getting.. but given the company.. the last bar they ran (hockey bar) the prices for food and drinks were high.. so we knew what we were getting into my buddy said the skin drumsticks were rubbery.. I got the fried pickles and they were okay nothing to be like whoa about just okay.. we ordered to Specialty drinks so that ended up being like 12 each.. again we knew what we were getting ourselves into.. but when the drinks came out they were on the small side.. I got their version of the Alabama Slammer and it was delicious it was just smaller than normal size Rock glasses and my buddy got a margarita but it was like a small martini glass shaped like a margarita glass.. and there was a lot of ice which is a great move if you don't want to put in a lot of alcohol lol So we decided that we're probably not going to get more food and the entertainment at the time while the guy was really nice he was kind of winging it with the songs he sang at least when we came in.. it was like his versions of country songs not his style wish I could get but definitely his version where he was coming in at different places in the song but all in all he had a great attitude it was just different.. that being said the decor was great our waitress could not have been more pleasant.. my only main concern is the value you're getting for the price that you're paying for in terms of drink and food.. we ended up going to a different place for more food.. but I'm willing to head there again and try it out especially if the entertainment is good read more

Went on a Sunday night for dinner for the first time and it was great! Super clean and new on the inside with good decor and music, guitars in the tables was a cool touch and the they had their large window completely open. Everything we had was great, especially the apps. We had the fried green tomatoes, scallops and pickled eggs. Bread pudding was a unique take on the dish but it was awesome and the whip cream was homemade. Would definitely recommend to others. read more

I wouldn't even give this a star. horrible customer service. sat there for 30 minutes before we approached someone to get a drink. waited 1 hour for food and was told before it even came out that "your bill is comped". we left without getting any food to not miss an event. do not go with children! we made a reservation and everyone got their food and cashed out before us. extreme disappointment. read more

I went once after an event (PBR Bull Riding back in Feb). It was just ok. The fried pickles were so bad, we sent them back. They are more the corn meal coated kind than traditional batter which I prefer but they were so salty we couldn't even eat them. They left them on the bill for us to pay for though, which was pretty disappointing from a customer service standpoint and they were roughly $9. Before even being served, we waited roughly 15 mins to even have our drink orders taken and that was after calling over a waitress and asking if she was our server, she informed us she was not but would take care of us. And lastly, before the event we didn't have a reservation so we dropped a friend at the door to see if we could get seats at the bar. The girl at the front was extremely rude to her, and when she told her she had friends trying to find parking she said "good luck with that" in a snotty tone. We only went back because we hoped for some live music as promised by their website, but there was none and even if there was, the place is so choppy in the floor plan that we were no where near where music would be played. The longer I write this the more disappointed I am in what should be Worcester only true country bar.. not sure I'd go back. read more

Nothing "Off the Rails" about this place. More like the train never let left the station. Food was disgusting. The brisket tasted like it had been microwaved 5 times, dry and gamey tasting . The lollipop was sausage which was also nasty wrapped in bacon. The chili was way too sweet, had to send it back. The only descent thing was the cheese dip with pretzels. We may have found a new favorite restaurant! The service was great. Our server Jean was super friendly, one of the best servers we have had in a long time. The food was excellent, especially the pork belly blt, unfortunately it's just a special. We would go back for that alone! Loved the hush puppies and Texas lolly-pops too. Went for the much-advertised Father's Day Brunch. They have so much to work on. The wait staff is very young and inexperienced but I don't blame them as it is clear that they have received zero training - ours was like a deer in the headlights. They also didn't have food trays for delivering food so each server had to make multiple trips to carry each glass and plate. We waited 50 minutes for our food from the time we ordered (total experience was 2 hours - not by choice). The food was dry, bland and disappointing. No salt or pepper on the tables - had to ask and by the time it arrived the food was cold. No offer for waters at the table. The cocktails are very watered down. We had to flag down a different server to get the check. The only good part was the gentleman that played the guitar and sang. I will never return. They just have so much to improve upon that I don't have faith they will ever get there without better management. read more
