This brewhouse is fun lunch place. Lots of tasty Americana foods to go with a huge craft beer collection. The staff is exceptional and kind. The food is always top notch and they custom any dish to your specifications. The atmosphere in the brewhouse is eclectic, based on the Colorado biking and outdoor fitness motif. There are several areas to dine in: indoor, patio and even a dog friendly patio, all of which have spacious bustling tables, big screen sports on TV and comfortable seating. I have had their burger and cheese and, as simple as that sounds, it is phenomenal, not least because of the amazingly soft and delicious buns that hold the sandwich. I have also tried the chicken and waffles and they are excellent. Lots of fun dishes here to try, all of which are large portions. The prices are on par with custom brewery items, from $12-16 . At certain times of day this will include a 10oz beer with it for just a penny more. Overall the brewhouse is a fun, tasty and enjoyable place. One just has to remember they could be spending over $50 for a table of just lunch food for 3 people. read more

My husband and I were looking for a place to eat with his parents and cousin who was visiting from out of town. His parents have a three-month-old puppy and we have a year old puppy. It's always difficult to find dog friendly places so when we heard OHSO was not only dog friendly but even had a dog patio, we were in! We didn't even need to look at the menu, address, or any of the details! We called ahead and realized that we were unable to make reservations for parties 12 and under. So, since we were coming from the Queen Creek area, we decided to get there early. We arrived around 4:30 PM on a Saturday night and we were able to be seated on the patio right next to the dog park right away. I thought it was funny that the servers were wearing crop tops, but our service was great throughout. They had a fun drink menu and nearly everyone started with a cocktail. We were also hungry and decided to get the hummus board and the charcuterie board for appetizers. They also had a nice variety of dips to choose from as well. For the main course, my husband ordered the angry bird, fried chicken sandwich, I ordered the kale and pear salad, my husband's cousin ordered the French onion patty, and his parents split the pilgrim turkey sandwich. I thought the sweet potato fries were delicious and my salad was yummy as well. Everyone else seemed a little bit underwhelmed with their orders. In fact, my husband's parents barely ate theirs. Again, there was no serious or high expectations for food going here, we were really happy to be able to sit outside & bring our dogs. The vibe of the establishment is awesome with the games and the staff are super friendly and helpful but the food being served in to go containers for dine in customers is atrocious. I have now visited all the OHSO breweries in the greater Phoenix area. Was happy to finally check Gilbert off my list. The front bar booths and Telly viewing area is brilliant! Just the right size room and distance between all the different components. I especially liked the huge bike chain chandelier art. Typically I have the veggie burger on the gluten free bun when at OHSO but I opted for the side green salad and fries. Delish!! read more

One of the best day drinking experiences around... Stopped in for a beer, left with 2 mimosas deep and extremely full. Highly recommend taking advantage of the weekend bunch deal. It's a killer deal from 9am-2pm. Try the green chili burrito, so good. Donut holes are delicious and so is the fruity pebbles French toast. Staff is great, atmosphere is awesome and overall a great place to relax and enjoy the day. Park across the street behind Whiskey Row. It's easier and right across the street. This plate was $18 before taxes and tip. I received 4 flour tortillas but barely enough meat for 2 tacos. Making each taco $9. I never asked for my food to go but it was given to me that way. You also have to go get the food yourself, they do not have a server bring it to you. The margaritas were extremely watered down with no flavor and the mojitos had a fishy taste. Beer is better than the food! I used to be huge on not getting food from OHSO having been let down in the past, I gave it a try again on brunch and it truly did disappoint again. Everything just tastes sub par, the breakfast bowl has no real "experience" to it that I couldn't make out of my own kitchen, and breakfast burrito without meat is really just an egg burrito, that's it. Now the lunch and dinner menu in my opinion are better but there is an overarching theme here. The beer again makes up for what the food lacks, the ambiance, and atmosphere also create a great place to go and hangout. Stopped by recently for the first time with a friend. We chose to sit at the bar and a very friendly bartender came over (I think her name was Courtney) and made us feel welcome and gave us a few recommendations, which we accepted. The Popsicle Blonde beer was so refreshing and the Buffalo Chicken Dip might be my new favorite appetizer anywhere. My friend had a sandwich called The Pilgrim which he loved. Said it was like Thanksgiving dinner in a sandwich. Thanks for the excellent customer service and great food. You've earned a fan and I will definitely be back. read more

We enjoyed sitting outside and love that they're dog friendly (even though neither of us have a dog). We were there for the midday happy hour. We really enjoy the fried spicy cheese and wontons. I've been to this place probably a dozen or so times and each time has been increasingly worse. The patio was such a great idea and looks awesome but the execution is horrid. It's overrun with kids 7 days a week, it's literally a daycare. The service I had tonight made me feel like I was on an episode of Impractical Jokers and they told my server to suck as bad as she possibly could. Gretchen (short black hair) couldn't have shown less attention, empathy, or sense of purpose to my table. Food took way too long (40+ mins) and 1/2 of the dishes weren't even right, which Gretchen tried to blame US for! She said we asked for the wrong thing when we very clearly communicated our order which was not out of the ordinary AND correctly written on our receipt? This evening for a birthday party we had 15 people and even though the few in our group had a few drinks they were "cut" off. When we asked why the very grumpy waitress said it's a personal decision. After much thought we decided that she wasn't making enough money on us since we didn't order food. Very sad because the bar is cool, environmentally friendly and pet friendly. I came here to have a nice meal with my 2 year old son and my wife. As we were waiting on our food, some gentlemen and a dog sat besides us with their dog. I am aware of this place being pet friendly and I accept that. Nothing wrong with that. But when the dog is sitting on the booth and not only eating off the table where people eat the dog was licking it. And they did it more than once. I a dept the fact that it's a pet friendly place but for a dog to eat off the table my 2 year old is going to eat off of and me and my wife. That's too much for me. I will keep coming here because Larson the manager was very understanding and accepted the fact that that should not happen. Dogs eat off the floor not off of a human table that we pay to sit on. This months girls day brunch pick was OSHO. I've been wanted try OSHO for years but always forget about it so I was super excited when it was selected by my friend. The restaurant is super hip and industrial but very comfortable. It's March madness so I was so happy when I walked in and saw the 6-8 huge flat screen covering the walls and bar area. The food was delicious! I went during brunch & beer and took advantage of the .01 mimosa. I also could not resist the donuts holes...OMG the donut holes and I decided on the croissant breakfast sandwich w/ a side potato's. My only thing would be I wish the menu would offer more non-pork meats. I was really happy with my first experience at OSHO! read more

They have a really cool park area where you can watch football, games for kids, it looks like it's a movie set! Ordered chicken & waffles. As soon as I tried to cut into it I knew I was screwed. Hard... with a steak knife. You know when you microwave a piece of bread and it gets hard? Yah that. Chicken was over cooked. My suggestions: Change to menu to be hot dogs, potato skins, and potato wedges. Don't ever serve chicken & waffles again. I would say our experience at OHSO was just underwhelming. The beer was fantastic but the food was just okay. Had high hopes for the pretzel appetizer. Ended up enjoying the corn nuts and dips that it comes with, but the pretzel wasn't great. We chose this place for convenience. Turned out it was movie night. Normally not a problem but we had young children with us. The movie showing was Scream. OHSO has been a great addition to our Downtown Gilbert area here in the east valley! We came in here after a morning visit at the farmers' market! The brunch offerings, mimosas and beer got us walking through their doors! . On this particular day I ordered the breakfast bowl and mimosa and the hubby got the OHSO classic with a pint! Both fare was delicious. We have come here during HH and dinner time as well! The AZ burger and the Arcadia burger were delicious. The brewers board is always a good idea! . They have delicious food here! We enjoyed their burgers which taste like they're on a Hawaiian roll. Sweet and soft buns and juicy burgers. Loved their green chili pork. It had so much flavor! The kids meals are pretty good sized as well. We went on a Sunday afternoon and it was packed, we had a party of 8 and it was an hour wait. They did have a lot of people bringing their dogs in the outside eating area. It was a little annoying because of small walkways and a couple of the dogs were snippy. To be honest if i could give negative stars I would. The only saving grace was literally the managers that apologized and comp'd the fiasco of an encounter. First, the multitude of hostess stands is more than awfully confusing. Especially when we checked into 3 of them before we found the one that was expecting us. Second, the service, sucks! For lack of a more educated term. Upon finally being seated and pondering the massive beer selection (my first choice was not available) I requested a few samples, all of which were underwhelming. Maybe that was the demise of my experience. I essentially had to flag down the server to order an actual cocktail, mind you 10-15 minutes later, regardless of my taste in beer. Not only was the time frame to get cocktails incredibly extensive, because I ordered on the fly, I wasn't exactly clear what I ordered. So when I received the wrong cocktail I thought nothing of it. It wasn't until the server told me that the drink I drank was not the one I ordered. At 1:53p we attempted to order apps of the lunch menu, big mistake. We were informed that it was still brunch, we couldn't order off that menu for 7 minutes (2pm), thus we waited. At 2:15p she finally moseyed back over to take our lunch order, mind you, only starting with appetizers we were now allowed to order. It wasn't another 10 minutes before a supervisor came to take my drink order again and ask how things were going. A short We reordered apps and beers after fruitless results for over 30 minutes. I have a hinting suspicion that the supervisor was the first person to actually enter our appetizer order into the system. Again, mind you 20 minutes after we place the order. After census with the table decided to leave. In all our party was at the brewery for near an hour and we were served one round of beers never received our appetizers and delivered the wrong beverages. I think we were afraid to order any additional menu items given the time frame to deliver. Being industry professionals, maybe our standard is too high, something tells me maybe not, we're incredibly forgiving and gracious when due. This was not the case. Redeeming quality's was conflict resolution. Management did their thing and overcame the issues, I'd give them another try, maybe not during lunch on a Saturday (or brunch, whatever). Bravo to management and their training, maybe just needs to be passed down a tier or two. read more

On Feb 3, 2024 I submitted a glowing review for O.H.S.O. but I regret that I now need to adjust my rating down a few stars based on our last 2 visits. On our latest visit (May 23, 2024) we sat at the front bar. It was clean as expected and the wait staff was prompt as expected, the chips and guacamole were as expected, but the Asian Chicken Salad was not as expected. We noticed that in the past 2 times we were in that the portions were becoming smaller and some ingredients were either missing or very sparse. For example, little or no sliced almonds or carrots were to be found, there were noticeably fewer mandarin oranges, the napa cabbage was bitter tasting compared to the greens that used to be in the salad and the portion of cabbage was much smaller, and the dressing was not the peanut dressing that we've become accustomed to; it was noticeably more vinegary rather than peanut style. Where was the mint and cilantro?? We requested to speak with the manager and he tried to explain that the corporate office was changing some items on the menu and this salad was one of them. We are locals and enjoy consistency but now that this salad has changed - NOT FOR THE BETTER - we are not happy and may not return to this establishment as much as we used to. Whoever recommended or decided to change this salad up did not make a wise decision in our minds. read more

This was just kind of a random place we wandered into when Oreganos was closed and it is an assumingly large restaurant. I have driven and walked past in many times and didn't know how far back it went. We wandered in around 8 on a Wednesday and it wasn't crazy busy but there were people in there. We were sat right away. The service was great, we had a new server who was being trained and they both did a great job. Checked up on us plenty. We had the steak fries and a bunch of different tacos. No complaints. The food was delicious. The prices were fair and the restaurant did a great job of being clean and clearly being conscious of COVID. If you want a nice relaxed night out this is a great spot to pick. read more

This place can be very deceiving, from the outside it looks like just a plain old brewery. But it has many different aspects to it if you just take a look around. It's not only a brewery but it has a great selection of whiskies which they actually do whiskey flights, which can be very entertaining. Also the outside patio is very very comfortable and definitely the place to be if you want to have a really good time and a tasty meal. You should stop in and visit and make sure that you bring your pup if you're on the outside patio because they are allowed. read more

The outdoor area is a very nice setting but is ruined but an understaffed bar where you have to order both drinks and food. The first of our group had completed their meals before others had received their food. The food was mediocre and did not include basic condiments and the staff seemed dazed and confused. Someone needs to rethink their system. read more
