I refuse to let this place close down ever again! This used to be my staple food in Newark. Every time I came back in town, I'd get OK Noodle at least once. I was sent into a spiRAling depRESSIOn when I found out it closed. I never ever write Yelp reviews but I am passionate about this place, their tomato beef noodle soup, and chili oil noodles. noodles themselves - (5/5) - super al dente even in a takeout box! perfectly chewy and bouncy. Chili Oil noodles - (5/5) - portions are craaazzzyyy. They give so much flavorful meat and a container full with noodles. Might be one of the best chili oil noodles I've tried and is definitely better than what I could make at home. I will say the spiciness is inconsistent sometimes. I've gotten em really spicy or really mild before without asking for it, but all versions were incredibly flavorful and tasty regardless! But this dish is legit a life changer and got me absolutely obsessed with chili oil noodles. SO GOOD Tomato Beef Noodle Soup - (5/5) - broth has DEPTH. So many other place's beef noodle soups just feel like there's something missing to the broth, but this place is perfectly salty n beefy n brothy! They separate the noodles + bokchoy and soups into different containers for takeout. Tomato is a great touch, lots of cubed beef at the bottom of the container, and the beef is all SUPER tender too. Portion is good for this too! Often takes me 2 meals to finish or one really big binge. Haven't tried anything else just cuz I'm obsessed with these two, but they're must tries !! Prices are great too, around $15 per noodle which is pretty standard. The owner was so kind and happy when I came to collect my order. The new place is also super spacious and well lit. Heard so many good things about OK Noodle, and it definitely lives up to the hype! I visited last month around opening, and there were only a couple other people dining in. I ordered the spicy beef noodle soup, and it came out a few minutes later. This definitely had a kick and wasn't just oily; it also had a numbing spice! Really delicious, but spicier/a different spice from QQ Noodle if you compared the two. The noodles were soft and slightly chewy. I didn't ask for the wide noodles, but I will next time just to try them out. The beef was super tender and so good. Service was super attentive, with several different workers refilling my water and checking in on me and my meal. I've never been to the old location, so I can't say if it compares or not. Hands down, best beef noodle soup in the South Bay! We were so sad when the Newark location closed but now they've moved to a location even closer to me! This location is clean, spacious and has a back patio area. The broth is so flavorful and the spicy level is on par. They give good amount of beef and noodles. My boyfriend says it reminds him of beef noodle soup from Taiwan. The staff is also friendly and attentive. Overall, I'm so happy they're back. A must try! read more

Soo good! Went here 2 days in a row. Ordered the chili oil noodle. Once with regular noodles and the next time I got it with the flat noodles. My wife and I swung by here 2 weeks ago on a whim. It doesnt look like much but the food was amazing. Some regular patrons could see that we were not familiar with what to order and kindly recommended some amazing dishes. The best was the dry chili noodle. AVOID AT ALL COSTS! Food is decent, noodles are chewy, but the service is the worst I've ever experienced in a restaurant. First of all, there is confusion from the start. You get seated at a table waiting for someone to bring you a menu and take your order. Except this doesn't happen. So eventually, you end up joining this line to order which takes a good 30 minutes. And they don't even let you pay in this said line and tell you to come back after to check out even though you are literally ordering at their POS system. Then you wait another 30-40 minutes for your actual food to arrive. Taste is ok, but nothing out of this world. Just decent. Now the worst part begins where you're trying to pay. You have to stand BACK in this line that doesn't move for another 30 minutes to pay. Now you're about 1-1.5 hours into this whole experience at this establishment where most of that time was spent in line with other angry customers. Oh, the cream on top, while you're in line waiting to order or pay, the owners let other customers cut in front of you for absolutely no reason. BEWARE AND AVOID OK NOODLES. Got the $16.99 chili oil noodles with extra wide noodles, it was delicious! My friends got the beef noodle soup, veggie chow mein and chilled cucumber appetizer. All dishes were excellent, the noodle texture was QQ and so bouncy and chewy in a good way. I like that they had white pepper and chili oil on the side so we can adjust to our preference! The owner/manager was so kind and considerate. When my friend ordered veggie chow mein, he asked "no meat?!" in a "are you sure you don't want meat" way, it was endearing that he wanted to make sure she knew what she was ordering. He and his wife(?) kept coming by to refill our waters. It was a lovely and quiet atmosphere, the kind where you can chat freely without having to shout to hear each other. I don't understand how they have such high reviews. Food is lacking flavor so bad. It looks soo good! We drove 80 miles to try it and it was terrible. We had to ask for sauces and seasonings to add to our dishes. My husband wanted to go to the taqueria next to it right after. Staff is super friendly and the inside is clean but I'm sorry the food is trash... The chow mein looks soo good but they didn't taste like anything and there was about 5 pieces of chicken. read more

The name is deceiving. They're not OK noodles. They're great noodles. Probably my favorite in the bay area. We got the big lamb plate, and it was a large plate filled with chewy noodles in a nice soupy sauce with potatoes and bell peppers. Spicy but nothing crazy. And wow the service. The people were so nice here and they offered to take our photo for our group. You rarely see a Chinese place this nice. Clean and simple interior with a decent amount of seating. After we got back from Seattle, and trying the famous Biang Biang noodle, I've been craving it everyday ever since. The wide noodle, the spicy oil sauce, the condiments, it was divine, it's holy trinity, it is perfection. Looking around bay area, searching and trying many noodle restaurants, there are no places that make noodle dishes like Biang Biang noodle. Until this new (not really) restaurant pop out of nowhere. I knew this restaurant existed a long time ago at the other location and pass by many times. However I was put off by the name, it's just je ne sais pas, mas o menos, or ok. Oh boys, I was so wrong. This restaurant is not OK, it's amazing! Finally I found a restaurant that is similar to Biang Biang Noodle. Their big beef noodle is so fulfilling, I ordered it to go and struggle to eat it by myself. It's meant to be share after all, don't be like me and try to eat it all. You will be in a food coma and sleep like a bear in hibernation afterward. We also ordered the Liang Pita which is cold noodle with cucumber and sauce. We didn't try it as we are struggling to finish with the big beef noodle plate. However, it's one of their popular dish and I can see why it's popular because during the hot summer time when you just want to eat something cold and refreshing. Love this place!
