I had the biggest craving for a philly cheese steak sandwich and this place popped up on my radar for locations near me in Dallas. So my friends and I came here for lunch to test it out. This place looks like it's been here for a minute, but don't let the outside fool you, because the food here is delicious! I of course ordered the philly cheese steak sandwich with a side of fries, but they are also known for their burgers here. All of us got the same thing so I can't actually vouch for the burger, but the philly cheese was fantastic. I liked that they put mushrooms in the meat to give it a very unique flavor and balance. My own complaint was that the bread was a little chewier than normal. I feel like a sandwich should be a little bit more crispy, but nothing that is make or break it. The sandwiches are big so bring your appetite, and the small French fries are big enough to share so don't worry. Lunch at 11:30am, Dining area was clean. My only concern was about the hamburger, it was a thin patty and it was raw . (Also it was greasy and the lettuce looked a day old). I am absolutely in love with this place! When I used to visit dallas this was always a go to spot, and now I love coming here for their great food and service. I would recommend to stick to their burgers because they are juicy, fresh and they are worth the money. Just became my favorite burger place in Richardson/Plano. I got the House Burger with sweet potato fries and the girl got the mushroom burger. The house burger is the way to go. Cheesy, a little spice, grilled onions and fresh lettuce and tomato (no shrooms for me).Also, I'm a big fan of sweet potato fries when they are done right, and friends and neighbors, these are done right. Crispy but thick cut so plenty of that good sweet flavor (they got some good jalepeno ketchup too). I'll be back for the house chicken sandwich which looked good as well, and also the gyros/pitas. We were in bit of a rush and the order took just under 10 minutes. *Update: the House Chicken sandwich is PHENOMENAL. I saw them pull the breast out to put on the grill and it is well marinated and soaked well before then. I got it grilled and it is lightly charred and JUICY. To say we were disappointed, would be an understatement. The meat on the burger was too salty to eat and was extremely greasy, to where all of the toppings were sliding off. The "Jalapeño Chicken" was definitely a frozen patty. I could've made it home and done a much better job. When I eat a chicken sandwich I expect the breading to be crisp and seasoned. The rest of the fillings were similarly underwhelming and the bun was soft and cheap. The "House Burger" has some decent flavor from the beef bacon and cheese, but again the bun was underwhelming. The "Onion Rings" were more ring than onion, and the batter was over saturated with oil. It was greasy gross. The "Sweet Potato Fries" has a nice cinnamon-spice flavor that was unique, but again it was mostly the fried part. Didn't even feel like I was biting into a sweet potato. WOW, the best burger and sweet potato fries combo I have had! Got a mushroom cheeseburger and added avocado on it (so great customization options!). So tasty! From the outside, you don't really know what to expect of the restaurant but the whole experience from ordering to eating your order was pleasant. I had a not great experience at Olive Burger in Richardson. First let me say food was ok and it was clean. The service by one particular employee was what jinxed the meal. Took my daughter's and two friends there for lunch. My daughter's friend accidentally spilled her soda. It went on the table and floor and her iPhone. We cleaned the table and asked for a mop. My daughter's friend apologized and said she was really sorry and she could clean it up. The employee named Aldo, came out with a attitude and was irritated. He said we have lids why don't you go put one on it so this doesn't happen. He was rude. As I was leaving I asked for a box and asked for the manager who he said was not there. I then asked his name and told him his attitude and response was inappropriate and rude. That she had apologized and that accidents happen. To which he proceeded to be flip with attitude again.
