    Teriyaki Chicken Meal

This place is always the best when it comes to the perfect and delicious Teriyaki Chicken. Hands down to the staff for a great and incredible service. The ambiance here was nice and welcoming. They had decorations of Hawaii and it felt like I was actually in Hawaii and it was nice. I ordered the Teriyaki Chicken and it's my #1 favorite food to eat. It was cooked to the perfect temperature and their serving size was actually a good portion size and I would definitely come back here. Thanks Ono Hawaiian BBQ

There is an $8 special right now. 4 pieces of fish. Rice and salad. With a drink comes to under $13. It's really good. Nice restaurant. Helpful and friendly staff. Fairly quick service. Quiet doning area, good for quick meals. I didn't care for their tartar sauce but other sauces very good.

The service here is wonderful and the food here is amazing & the ambience here is excellent

    Wish it had more beef

Customer service was horrible, the speed of the food was great though. I had to wait for the cashier to finish a conversation with her friend. After ordering, the cashier decided to leave her station to talk to another friend who was eating. My meal was ready but the cashier was still busy talking for over 5 minutes to her friends. Two ordered were finished being made by the time she notice. I'm never coming back.

I decided to grab some Ono's for dinner for me and my husband since I had a coupon earlier today :) Ordering process: I was surprised but I was able to call and place my order for pick up. I called around 2:49 PM, placed the order, and the employee said my order would be ready in 10 or so minutes. The ordering process was soOoO easy since I didn't have to order in person and wait. They also have online ordering available as well, which I may use next time: https://order.onohawaiianbbq.com/ Food: ++Hawaiian BBQ Mix $14.99 - comes with BBQ Chicken, BBQ Beef & Kalbi Short Ribs. You can also sub the BBQ chicken for chicken katsu, BBQ Beef or Teriyaki Chicken. -Plate Lunches include 2 scoops of rice, 1 scoop of our famous Macaroni Salad and vegetables. -Fortunately, none of the meat was charred too much. My BBQ chicken was a little toasty on the edges but it was still edible (and not as bad as the other reviews.. but I may have gotten lucky haha). -The two scoops of rice are kinda small, along with the amount of mac salad you get. Amongst the steamed veggies, there was a huge cabbage core that my husband ate lol. The kalbi short ribs were a little on the thinner side but it was properly seasoned. I had nothing to complain with the BBQ Beef. They don't give you too much meat but it's filling and just barely enough for me to share with my husband. ++Large Fountain Drink Coke - $2.69 -The drink size is pretty big. It's more than enough haha. You can choose from coke, diet coke, sprite, water, two Hi-C flavors, and I believe Fanta. Customer Service: It was good on the phone. When I called, I had asked for the Hawaiian BBQ plate and the employee asked me which one/plate, which threw me off. I wasn't looking at the menu since I was out and had been looking at the menu on my phone, but she finally realized I wanted the 'mix' haha. When I came inside the store to pick up, my order was ready.. so they were efficient and accurate on the timing. I handed the female employee my coupon and she had spent a little bit of time reading the coupon (I almost thought she wouldn't honor it). When she rang me up, I wasn't sure how much the Hawaiian BBQ Mix was for so I asked and she told me..but then she mentioned... it costs this much because you got a drink and then she kinda gave her manager a look. Yeah... well I knew that but I wanted to just make sure the cost was correct (you just never know!). Then the two workers (I'm assuming the manager + her) cracked a joke, and then I started feeling a little uncomfortable. Just a little thought, it was pretty pleasant and seamless until then. Cleanliness: The store was clean and a lot of indoor seating was available (since I came at such a random time in the afternoon). Yeah, I think I'll come back if I'm in the area and crave some Ono. I think this place is a hit or miss, but hopefully, they can be more consistent in the future!

Cannot see chicken. Maybe there's nothing inside, just rice masubi

Chicken masubi is wayy too small. You cant even see it. Its pure rice. No chicken. I will not come back to this store for my lunch break.

Great food, fresh and filling. I enjoy a variety of their Hawaiian dishes like Kalua pork, BBQ chicken, SPAM Musubi, I also frequently order mini meals as the full combos are filling I always have leftovers. Come here for a quick hearty Hawaiian meal

My son almost died with a piece a tape i found in my food the manager Carmen was inconsiderate with me.

Food was delicious! It was packed when I got there and had to wait a few minutes, but the macaroni salad was worth the wait!

Scammers used false advertising to get you to come into their store. The snap advertisement clearly says 10/1 - 10/15 and we drove specifically this location of Onos rather than a closer one for this very deal. The deal that was supposed to last two weeks apparently only lasted 1 day.

Other items we ordered were the French Style Beef Cube, Braided Crab Meat & Fish Maw Soup, Beef Mongolian, Crispy Fried Sole Fish, BBQ Fried Rice, Clams with Spicy Sauce, Crispy Fried Squid with Salt and Pepper, and Clams with Black Bean Sauce. The portions are actually quite massive for each dish. All of it was very solid and tasty Chinese food. We were definitely very stuffed after this lunch was over! Service here is solid enough for a Chinese place. They were pretty quick with getting us extra plates to change out our dirty plates and more bowls as needed. And they were quick with the water. But yeah, you do have to flag them down to get their attention. They do have a parking lot here, and we got here early enough on a Sunday where parking wasn't an issue. However, I can see it being a problem on busier days. Boston Lobster is definitely worth a visit if you want solid Chinese food at a fair affordable price. Really good!

They are located in the same plaza as CVS, Tam's Noodle House and Dim Sum Box. There was sufficient amount of private parking for the plaza. When we first arrived, there was a lot of seats open. The staff was friendly and welcoming and said we can sit anywhere we would like. Phuong and Dat helped us the entire night and the service was fantastic. I recommend coming early because they did get busy and by the time we left every table was filled. The energy here is definitely upbeat and a great place to hang and catch up with friends. We had an incredible feast and would come back to reorder all of the dishes we tried this visit and more: Goi Xoai Muc ($15.99) - Mango salad with squid. Very light and refreshing. This is an unripe mango thinly cut and mixed in with traditional Vietnamese herbs. It also comes with some shrimp chips to funnel up this delicious salad. Oc Mong Tay Mo Hanh ($18.99) - Razor clams grilled with scallion oil. One of the least flavorful items by compare. Both my friend and I felt like the scallion oil was very light on these razor clams but enjoyed it with the sauces from other dishes. Oc Mo Bo Toi ($24.99) - Fat snails prepared garlic butter style. Delicious. These bigger snails makes them easier to pick them out with the skewers they serve this with. Ngheu Xao Bo Toi ($16.99) - Clams prepared garlic butter style. Yum. Juicier compared to the snails and absorbs the sauce well. The clam shell makes it easy to scoop up the sauce and drink it. Oc Len Xao Dua ($16.99) - Sea snails in a coconut milk sauce. One of my favorites but I know it's one of the more difficult ones to eat, cause you'll have to suck on it really hard to get the snail out. But the sauce is delicious and unique. So Diep Trung Cut ($15.99) - Scallops with quail eggs. Highly recommended by staff, They mentioned this was a popular dish. Very decadent. It was a smidge too much food for 2 people but when I asked my friend if she would remove anything, she mentioned it was all a good variety for the meal. Next time we'll need to come back with more friends to try more of their dishes.

I thought it would be enough for our party for 7 but portions were so small so I doubled each order. The razor clams were probably the most flavorful while the other seafood items fell flat and bland. I'm not sure if the chef didn't let it seep thoroughly in the sauce but it wasn't busy at 5 pm when we came in so there was not rush hour. My biggest gripe was that the hot pot came with the tiniest portions of vegetables. Prices are quite high and I've been to other places recently with a larger party so I was quite disappointed. The passion fruit soda did not taste freshly squeezed and seemed artificial which was also a major letdown.

It is considered…read moreto be one of the best destinations for fresh seafood, with the accent on Chinese cuisine. What has shunned me from this place, is the distance and the traffic, from the SFV. Finally, I made the journey. And arrived for lunch, on a weekday. To come here and not order their iconic Signature dish, the House Special Newport Style Lobster, would be a sin. Imagine a trip that was almost 40 miles and an hour of traffic (one way), with no reward. It was time to experience the real thing. The signature dish. Walking in solo, I was given a booth. I liked that. On seating, I ordered a beverage to quench my thirst, catch my bearings and breath. Almost immediately, the servers kept bugging me to order. The place was barely 1/4th occupied. Whats the hurry. After all this, I had to repeatedly tell them, that i had already spoken with a server, regarding my order. Just wanted to relax first, catch my breath, sip my beverage. Coming here, I was aware that their tank lobsters would be in the 4-6 pound range. Good for, and ordered by, at least 3-4 people. So when I, as a solo diner, ordered a 4-pound lobster (with no other choice), just for myself, they began to leave me alone and give me more respect. The cut up wok prepared, House Special Newport Style Lobster, arrives wonderfully presented, with heaps of leeks, scallions and jalapenos. My kind of recipe. Truly unique and exceptional. There is no sauce, and only a mild flavor, yet tasty. My biggest concern here was (after reading numerous internet reviews), that the lobster would be rubbery and dry. Not so for me. I lucked out. Problem here is, while there is lots of meat (a 4 pound lobster will yield at the most, about a pound of meat), they do not have, or provide, the essential lobster cutlery, to do justice to this beautiful crustacean. I did ask though. They did not seem to care and told me to use my fork. LOL. Steamed rice is complimentary. So is a soup, with sweet and sour, being the only choice (I did not like this). Either way, my plan was to take leftovers (there was a lot), home, where I possess high class lobster cracking tools. And thank heavens I did. They were most useful, to crack and dig into all the lobster meat, that would have been inaccessible at the restaurant. With additional TLC, the leftovers held up well, to provide several additional lobster meals. Need to go back to try their enticing and reasonably priced variety of lunch specials (more seafood, choices minus lobster). Another sought after box on my list, is now checked.

Of all the Vietnamese sour soups we've had, this place was the best. It is like a savory version of a lemonade, where the sourness and sweetness is extremely intense, but perfectly balanced. I've tasted all sort items from this restaurant, from quail, to frogs, to snails, to cat fish, and everything has been executed to maximize the taste of the ingredient and sauce. Fish dishes would first be soft, flakely, moist, buttery, and then after the textures, you get hit with the intensities of the sauces. In French cuisine, sauce is king, and Vietnamese food is often times a blend of native and French techniques. This place's food quality punches well beyond it's patronage. I'm frankly surprised how empty this place is, and often times, I avoid writing reviews for my FAVORITE places, because after a review from me, the place gets crazy crowded and the prices go up. Unfortunately, this review is written post mortem. I do hope that this place can re-open someday. Until then, this place has set the bar for me, for all Vietnamese restaurants going forward. Food came out about 10 minutes after we ordered. Everything was so delish. My favorite was the lemon pepper fried dipped in that sauce. (If you like lemon order these)

We ordered the combo for two, all shrimp (fully peeled for $2.00 extra & totally worth it). We also ordered garlic bread and oysters as an appetizer. Everything came out fast, hot and perfectly cooked. The spice level was just right, potatoes and corn were delicious, soaked in the sauce for a perfect bite. The shrimp were cooked to just the right consistency, not overdone and rubbery. It also came with sausage, which was plump and flavorful. Not too spicy. The oysters were fresh, briny and paired with lots of lemon (upon request) and Tapatio. Delicious! The garlic bread was good, and supported the meal well. Our server, Nick, was great. Attentive, helpful with the menu and Johnny-On-Spot with more napkins, lemons and refills. We got there at around 5:30, without a wait (for a party of two). However, it was already packed, and by the time we left, there was a good amount of people waiting to be seated. The restaurant was clean, lively and bustling. There are even robots rolling around delivering food, utensils, etc. A pretty cool experience. For two people, we had a great shrimp boil with delicious sides, garlic bread and six oysters as an appetizer for a great price. Can't wait to try it for lunch. We'll definitely be back!!
