We immediately got seated. Mind you, this isn't the type of place were you sit, enjoy your meal, and have a comfortable conversation. This restaurant is all about moving volume. Eat, be nice to the staff, and leave! Their take out business was off the charts during our stay. The staff was working their tails off to keep everything in order. Much respect there! Anyhow, I ordered from the "breakfast menu". They have an extensive pre-lunch - break menu at very affordable prices. I had the minced pork rice noodle in soup with a side of plain chowmein. And I ordered a ice (cold) milk tea (there's an up-charge for cold drinks +2 bucks). I think my total pre-tax and tip was like $16 bucks. Not bad. The chowmein was a bit "limp" in taste but I assume adding a bit of chili-oil would have fixed it for me. Again, this a good deal place. Enough said.

As for the scallop fried rice, it's still as yummy as before and a good portion. No complaints. Same busy ambiance with the bustling waiters to clear and serve tables. They have a restroom. Food is served within 10-15 minutes of ordering. Drinks can be added on for $2.50 when ordering meals and if you want to make it large they'll tack on extra 88 cents. The drinks do take a while to come out especially the teas bc they're freshly made behind the counter. Also, they seem to be so busy that it's hard to flag down servers unless they're brining food or drinks. The food is quite alright here and as expected for a HK / Canto style palate. Note they have 2 menus -- one that is bigger and more extensive, and a simpler one (photos are of the simpler menu). Prices are fair for the size of the dishes (they're not huge like other places but also most are under $15 a dish). We ordered the following and all was tasty: - sweet and sour pork ribs - egg over friend rice and gravy (the kids loved it) - seafood tofu clay pot - beef w mushrooms stir fry - yellow chicken Restrooms: they've got 2 separate ones. Decently clean, thankfully. Parking is FREE but quite difficult here in the plaza bc the lot is shared with so many other eateries in that McDonald's plaza. So either you wait for a spot to open or take your car down the block and walk a little.

Nothing says…read morecustomer service like going out of your way to make it right for your customers and Henry did just that. We went back today and the food was delicious. This time my husband got the Granada which was recommended to us by Henry and I got my usual Legendary. Both sandwiches were packed with meat/ chicken and on top of that they both came out hot and ready to devour. The bread was succulent and a good amount of mayo and ketchup was added. All in all this is the experience we had been wanting to have and I'm so glad we went back. Thank you to Henry, again, for going out of his way to make us feel welcomed and well attended. He was happy to have us back and we felt very appreciated as customers. Can't wait to come back and try other sandwiches!

It was a must try. Got two sandwiches Legendary chopped cheese, pack with meats and really flavorful and good! It's a big sandwich and they make their rolls in house. Italian godfather was the second sandwich and I felt that it was missing something, it wasn't pack with flavor much. I just added some banana peppers and it helped. Also a big sandwich. Staff really friendly and they cook and assemble in front of you. Parking can be a little tricky here because it shares a lot with other businesses. The chop cheese is a must try and I will be coming back for their chicken and waffles

We got the loco moco, Portuguese sausage, and the macadamia nut pancakes. Everything together was less than $40 which feels unreal in 2026! It was more than enough food for 2 people and we had to take some home. 4 stars only because the interior and bathroom in particular are cramped and dated. It's probably how they keep their prices so low but some things could use a refresh!

The gravy is so good it could make you reconsider long-held political beliefs and peacefully change governments. I'm not saying treaties have been signed over this gravy, but I'm not ruling it out either. The over easy egg breaking into the rice and burger patty is basically poetry. Every bite feels like a warm hug from somebody's Hawaiian grandma. And the Spam musubi? Those things scream my name every time I walk through the door. I tell myself I'm just coming for the loco moco and somehow a musubi magically appears in front of me. Science can't explain it. Consistently delicious food, huge portions, and the kind of place that turns into a regular stop before you even realize it. 5 billion stars. If Yelp won't let me give more than five, that's a limitation of the platform, not the restaurant.
