The best sushi in Kitsap county always fresh fish and always tastes great. Staff is also VERY friendly and accomodating!

I've been here once it was excellent. They not only have sushi, but they have sashimi, and chinese food as well. We ate outside on the patio which was really nice, and the service was awesome. I hope to go back there soon. Two thumbs up from me. read more

i've been here twice. the first time i brought with me a friend from out of town....i wasn't super impressed. I was with my friend from my home town, where there are way more sushi places per capita, and it was ok but not phenomenal. however, i re-visited the other day and enjoyed it....first impressions aren't always best. This restaurant is deceiving at first. It looks a little run down, but the food is delicious. We adore the cashew chicken and mongolian beef. The tempura is also very good. I think a lot of people who do not like sushi avoid this restaurant because of the name. Sushi is only a portion of what they offer. They have a huge menu that is sure to please everyone. read more

I love Origami! Always fresh and the staff is friendly! I usually order to go and my food is always prepared quickly. The only thing that stops them from being 5 stars for me is that their spicy mayo is spicier than most places and I love spicy mayo on all my rolls. read more

The shrimp asparagus roll tasted ok. The sushi rice was not made right. A Japanese sushi chef trains for 7 or 8 years. Most people in the U.S. probably can't taste the difference though. The Japanese are very picky with their rice. You can't use just any rice. read more

I had dinner here and I got the Teriyaki salmon and a tempura battered roll. The roll was with tuna and avacado. It was pretty good, but expected it to come with tempura sauce. Also, the salmon was a little over charred on the skin and the teriyaki was just ladeled over the fish, rather than cooked into it or glazed on. The service was a little slow considering there was only a couple of people in there when I was there. I might be willing to give it a second shot and have some sushi. read more

a coworker of mine and I go here for lunch occasionally. Like the other reviews state - dont let the appearance of the building keep you from eating here. Its really very good. The only reason I don't give five stars is because I have not had consistently GREAT sushi. We had sushi today where the rice was soggy. Boyfriend and I just recently moved to Silverdale and saw this sushi place. We finally had the chance to try it out last night, and I wasn't at all impressed. First impressions of going in were good, small. I ordered the Poke' roll, which is spicy tuna, while my bf got the bento box. When my sushi came, I saw they had forgotten the toppings. I just dealt with it. Taking the first bite, I realized it WASN'T SPICY. What kind of spicy tuna isn't spicy? The first bite was flavorful, but as I kept eating I realized the rest of the rolls had NO FLAVOR. I was quite upset with my meal. I saw a review on here who said their spicy tuna rolls weren't spicy. I should have taken their advice. My boyfriend however, LOVED his meal; That's why this is even getting 3 stars. He got some sort of onion soup that came before his bento box, and he said everything was great. Our total was $35. Didn't feel worth it to me. It's kind of ridiculous you have to order soup when it should just come with the sushi as a side. Soup's were way too expensive on their own too. At least the place back in my hometown served eggdrop soup AND a salad before ordering, making it worth the $45 we'd spend there. I could have easily gone to safeway and picked up a thing of spicy tuna rolls if I knew mine would be tasteless. Despite my bad experience, I'm not opposed to trying them again. Maybe next time I'll try something with a sauce on top so I can get at least a little flavor. read more

Oh yes, yes, YES! Massive portions of super-creative sushi options and perfectly done noodle dishes, but the #1 reason you must eat here: DEEP FRIED BANANAS TOPPED WITH YOUR CHOICE OF ICE CREAM! My friend and I LOVE this place and most recently decided to try dessert...SOOO glad we did! We had our fried bananas topped with coconut ice cream, wow! They are ridiculously expensive....did they fly the fish in from Japan? $6.50 for tuna nigiri and $7.00 for mackerel... $4.50 for oshinko???? They must be making a killing. Origami Sushi was definitely a surprise. From the outside, I did not expect much, but their sushi is quite good. Do not be misled by the name, Origami has one of the largest and varied menus that I have seen in an Asian restaurant. There is something for everyone here. I hate that this place is the only one that serves Milk Tea boba in Bremerton/Silverdale. It's always just so-so, and $5? It's definitely one of the pricier bobas. The boba pearls are always overcooked or undercooked. Why is everything so pricey here for what you get, it just isn't worth it. read more

Very impressed! I am a self proclaimed sushi snob, pretty picky about where I order raw fish. I have been here about 4 times and have enjoyed it every time! They have creative rolls and very fresh fish. Everyone is extremely friendly and make for a very pleasant experience. The other great part about this restaurant is they have a various other items on their menu not related to sushi so everyone can be pleased! I'm a huge fan of the bento box. I have had bento boxes from 4 different establishments in Silverdale, and I have to say it's neck and neck with Hakata. I only say that because Origami has a salmon bento box and I've only had the chicken teriyaki at Hakata, so maybe not apples to apples, but the salmon bento box at Origami is for sure a favorite for me, especial the flavor of the grilled salmon. I will say the tempura on the bento box is very good too. Yes, the place is not as clean as it should be, but it's really not a lot different than most of the eateries in Kitsap. read more

The sushi here is great! There is only one good server there... The rest look annoyed with helping you. The fried rice is pretty good, Seahawk roll is delish, and the pink dragon is amaze! This has some of the best spot of good sushi in this area, ok American style sushi. I have not been there for over 11 months, but when we did visit it is a great place to eat and enjoy a great company. I'm a sometimes sushi fan. Meaning- I don't go for the exotic rolls! but the Philadelphia roll was pretty awesome and right up my plain ole alley. Salmon avocado cream cheese. It was delicious and arrived to the table in a good fast time. I tried the teriyaki chicken there once and enjoyed that. The miso soup is good and in general its a very yummy place! The building itself is kind of run down and grotty looking - the inside is nothing to rave about and borders a YIKES. - but -- They do a good job and we return every so often for a hassle free sushi fix. read more

I got the pink dragon roll and it was decent. I also got the shrimp puff. I was disappointed about the puffs and sent them back. The staff was friendly and took them off my bill.
