Just recently ate here with my mom and stepdad, and I must say, I was severely disappointed and unfulfilled. We were seated quickly and the restaurant was clean. Good start to an otherwise awful dinner. As soon as our waiter appeared (Can't remember his name, but he's an older, blonde gentleman) I knew it was going to be a bad evening. He was very flippant and uncaring. He tossed our drink coasters aimlessly in our direction, was very curt when it came to questions, interrupted us or just walked away, didn't check on us, and thought it was a good idea to slide my soup across the table. No, I was not sitting far from the end to warrant such an action, but because they serve the soup in a bowl atop a plate, the soup almost ended up in my lap. Luckily I saw it coming and stopped it. When the food came out, it was AWFUL! My soup was warm, but completely flavorless. I ordered a steak with garlic mashed potatoes and my steak, although cooked right, was room temperature so it had obviously been sitting out for a while, and my potatoes had zero flavor and was cold as well. I was very disappointed in this meal and definitely see myself avoiding any Outback chain because of this experience. Absolutely dismal. read more

The only problem was the wait time, which was 45mins the only reason why I didn't leave was because my child fell asleep. My waitress Lauren was awesome!! I ordered the Alice Spring Chicken. After several really bad experiences at this Outback we decided to give it one last shot. I ordered the "Big Australia" giant crab stuffed lobster tail. It was maybe six inches in length. The lobster tail was overcooked and was maybe six bites of lobster. There may have been shredded crab in the "crab stuffing" but I really couldn't find anything but breading. It tasted awful. So not worth $20. I would have been better off ordering an Outback special and adding on two lobster tails. Would have been a little more money but much more lobster but I wouldn't have had to pay for a nasty crab cake (and I use the term loosely). I didn't send it back because I felt like it was my fault for even ordering it in the first place. I did tell the manager about how awful it was and she apologized. My daughter ordered a filet that was half gristle. She sent it back and the second filet was what a filet should look like. No fat. That was definitely the last time we eat at an Outback Steakhouse. read more

My husband and I usually get good service and good food there. Today's service was not so great. Not sure if it was the kitchen staff and server or just kitchen staff. The server informed us that there were so many to go orders and that the kitchen staff was backed up. Well my husband got his salad and entree and I got my entree first. First off Thomas judged us out loud for our appetizer selections. We got cheese fries and salads. Our food took forever to come out. We ended up just paying for the drinks and appetizers and leaving. Made reservations, showed up 8 minutes EARLY, told there is a 2 hour wait even with reservations. Its almost 7. Why bother?

All three stars are going into how wonderful the Rack of Lamb was cooked. The service, on the other hand, was thoroughly subpar, and somewhat appalling. There were several tables around us with meat dishes undercooked. This is obviously an issue with the waiter and the kitchen, and should be avoided on Easter when your restaurant is slammed with hungry guests. read more

Went for my birthday dinner and had an excellent time. The service was a little slow for a Monday night and the restaurant not being busy. That might be a kitchen issue and not the servers fault. But once the apps (bloomin onion and coconut shrimp) were on the table the service was rolling. The sirloin steaks were cooked to order and did not need anything aside from our knives and forks. The garlic mash was flavorful and the side of coconut shrimp was also great. Overall decent experience for a chain restaurant! read more

I decided to give this place another chance. I wasn't quite impressed the first go around. It has probably been about 4-5 years since my last visit. When me and my husband got there the wait time was good and the service was normal. I ordered my steak medium rare. When I got my steak, it looked delish on the outside. I started eating at the side of the steak and it was cooked ok considering it was still a little of the rare side. I continued eating the sides but it was getting bloodier by the bite. Due to the dim lighting, I couldn't really tell how rare it was until i took a flash picture of the steak. The steak was still moo-ing!!!! Ugh, I didn't want to complain and have the risk of someone tampering with my steak so I proceeded to take it home. Once I got home, I was pissed I paid that much for something that was poorly cooked! (Picture taken once I got home also) I am so disappointed. Worst Customer service ever! Waited over 35 minutes just for an appetizer and it was brought out cold. This place wasn't even busy! We had to go to bar to get our own refills. Kitchen manager came out and assured us he would take care of our order personally and we never saw him again. We were there at 630pm and they were "out of the philly steak sandwiches". We order grilled shrimp and it was served ice cold, we had to ask for our salads to be served after waiting 45 minutes and never received any bread or refills in our drinks. Do not waste your time going to this poorly managed restaurant... We will never be back...! read more

My friends and I were in the mood for a good steak to celebrate two birthdays .. so we naturally decided that Outback was the place to go. DEFINATELY a good choice. We were seated almost immediately, with a very accommodating hostess who made sure to help locate an available table that would be comfortable to accommodate my wheelchair. We got our drinks and a delicious Bloomin Onion almost immediately, and the young waitress, Donille, was delightful. She was very friendly, helpful and attentive the entire evening, adding a warm and cheerful charm to our evening without ever intruding on us. Our drinks were always filled at just the right time and service was excellent. Hot foods were hot and prepared correctly, cold foods cold... and also well prepared. The tasty bread was fresh and served with spreadable butter, and was enjoyed by all. We took advantage of the specials .. I had a perfectly prepared medium rare prime rib, lobster and a bowl of some of the best French Onion soup I've had in a long time. My friends had strip steaks ... also expertly prepared to their preferred doneness. They chose salads instead of soups, and received bright, fresh plentiful crisp salads. Also we enjoyed the fruity, delicious black berry martini. YUM! Dinner was followed with their classic key lime pie, chocolate mousse and ice cream sundaes. All were good. The mousse was killer chocolate and creamy ... the key lime a perfect mix of tartness with just a touch of sweet. The sundaes (vanilla with chocolate and raspberry) were very good ice-cream topped with delicate sauces.) rounded out the sweet treats. I brought my mom to eat lunch here and we both ordered the filet mignon. As long as it took I thought my moms filet was going to be the same as mine. Instead she got a slice of meat around 2oz. I understand she got a well done but we paid for a 6oz steak not a 2oz. I will never come here ever again. read more

Went there 1/24/2019 with my wife celebrating our 49th anniversary. My wife had seen a commercial for steak and lobster for $15.99 but were told they had nothing like that. They did say they had steak and lobster for $28.99. My wife chose Alice springs chicken and I had a Caesar salad. When we got home and turned on the TV the ad was on again and then we had a post from Outback on FB with the deal and listed the address of exactly where we left. Terrible service, no idea about the food because after 30 minutes at a table in the bar no one bothered to serve me. I would highly recommend that you go somewhere else if you value your time, they apparently don't. I'm sure they will be pleased if you don't show up as we'll. My wife and I have frequented this restaurant 48 time in the calendar year (2020) We have spent $2651.00 dollars over that time. It represents 25% of all our dining out. Last night we were thrown out by the manager (Joshua) for complaining about being charged $1.00 for some diced onions to be used on our mash potatoes. This is no joke. One would think that if the management had a problem with the request he would have at least came to the table and explained as to why the charge was being made. I did get angry and yelled to see Phillipe, whom I thought was the manager but he would not come to the table. That is when Joshua asked us to leave. The bartender, whom we have had very good service in the past seemed completely out of it, perhaps a drug problem or maybe a bad day I don't which. The overall service was bad however the food was wonderful. What a shame. I would estimate our overall amount of trips to this restaurant over the time we have lived here (31) years, probably 1200 times . That's a .lot of bucks $66,275.00 to be exact. That is a lot to throw away for a stinking $1.00 worth of onions. Don't you think??????? The strangest thing about this whole episode is when asked, Phillippe told me Joshua has been general manager for 6 YEARS. I have never seen or spoke to him in all those 6 YEARS. This is a sign of great incompetence in my eyes. You would have thought with our extremely large patronage, he would have thanked us at least once. read more

I received a gift card from Outback steakhouse due to the god awful treatment I received at their Desoto location, but in all honesty, I was afraid to go back to that location. I couldn't do it again. So I came to the Arlington location. I must say it was a big difference, I was more tamed and orderly, the servers so more attentive. Our server Chance was amazing, always checking on us. The food was great, large portions, we had leftovers for the next day. I will definitely be back to this location. read more

This visit today was awesome. Food was great and service was super. I had the the steak and lobster tail. Steak was just right. Lobster a little on the small side but very good . Everyone in our party was very happy and all agreed so much better than our last couple of visits. We started off with the onion petals and shrimp queso dip and both very good. I ordered three lobster tails from here yesterday 9/16. Within an hour I was sick as a dog stomach on fire with indigestion and vomiting. It was so bad my body was shaking and I couldn't eat for the rest of the day. I am still sore today and was just now able to gain my strength to even write this. On 7/19/17, our 52nd wedding anniversary I elected to have Outback deliver 2 Prime Rib Dinners as my wife was recovering from surgery. I asked for a 5:30 pm delivery and received an email confirmation. When the meals had not arrived by 5:45, I called, spoke with several people, none of whom could tell me the status of my order. I finally got through to a manager who told me that the meals were on the way. I asked him when they had left and he could not tell me. I live 1.6 miles from the restaurant so when the meals had not arrived by six, I called again and was told they were on their way. At 6:15 the manager showed up with the order. When I checked it, the asparagus was completely cold and the prime ribs were barely warm. In addition, I had ordered one rare and one medium. Both were unappetizing slabs of medium meat. read more

First time at Outback and it was great! The food was really good, especially the Blooming Onion and the steak. Our waitress Raqeena was also amazing! She greeted us immediately and got us bread and drinks while we waited for the rest of our party. Since it was my first time at Outback, she also spent some time helping me pick out what to eat. They must be on a downswing, in both quality of food and capable staff. I eat in once in awhile and recently have gotten orders to go. The last one they actually burned the broccoli and I ordered some coconut shrimp. They forgot the sauce....which really makes it good. I gave them another chance the other day. I ordered a filet. The waitstaff were really nice and friendly. But they put in THREE of the coconut sauces (for four shrimp) and the filet (a filet....right?) was TOUGH. It was like eating skirt steak! We haven't visited Outback in awhile and sadly this visit reminded me why. Our service was incredibly slow and not very good at all. I had to ask the waitress for an item three separate times before she brought it. My grandparents ordered drinks from the bar and did not get them until the meal arrived and after reminding the server. It was a Tuesday night and they were not crowded at all so I'm not sure why the service was so slow. My steak was very undercooked and my daughter's steak was very over cooked. We sent my daughter's steak back and she returned with the manager with a replacement for my meal. Not only did they bring the wrong meal back, the manager argued with me over the cut of meat and defended the steak being super tough. I've had plenty of sirloins and they are not as tender as a filet but definitely NOT that tough. We could hardly cut or chew it! By the time the wrong meal replacement was brought to us everyone at the table was done eating so my daughter didn't even get to eat with her family. The amount of time it took to get the check was ridiculous let alone the amount of time it took her to split it and bring our cards back, etc. I am highly dissatisfied with the service and the food and will probably reserve my business for a better restaurant, like Saltgrass, for when we want to have a steak dinner out. read more

My husband and I had a night without kids, this is where we chose. We went early so there was no wait. Our server, Justin, was extra polite and the food was delish! Very dissatisfied with my experience at this location, I paid $30 for a plate of fat, my wife and I stop for dinner it's our anniversary, I didn't send the steak back because she would've been dining alone, and the experience wasn't going well already being that the bread was cold like it w as taken from the bag and place on a plate, the bread didn't melt the butter very unappetizing, the salad had the core to the lettuce in it, and my steak was super fatty a 22oz ribeye with maybe 8oz of edible meat on it the rest was fat and bone. Went on the 15th to celebrate a late valentines dinner. Ordered at 9:00 on the dot and did not get our food until 9:48. Absolutely ridiculous. My food was cold, and my sirloin was dry and very difficult to chew for getting it medium. There was no trace of pink even on there. Lobster tail was cold. Our original waiter switched tables, my boyfriend's drink was empty more than half the time, and the hostess was arguing with another staff member even when we walked up she didn't stop.
