When I walked in there was no Hostess on a Sunday afternoon. I stepped back to the kitchen and found someone to help me. Once seated my server was Arianna who was amazing. There were only 2 servers in the whole restaurant but she and Naomi did an excellent job of taking care of every table on both sides of the restaurant. My lobster tails were way over cooked and chewy but everything else was perfect. Well done Arianna and Naomi, well done. You both did an incredible job. read more

Called in to see the wait time for a bar booth... 10-25 minute wait. Upon arriving waitlisted for approx 20 min. After sitting for 5 min a couple walked straight to a corner bar booth that opened up. I confronted the management staff and asked how fair that was. Only response was "we are handling it." Instead of asking the couple to leave the table and wait their turn, they served them anyway. All we got was "oh we are sorry." Then they called our name thinking we would be going to a bar booth, but nope, they wanted us to sit outside the bar at a table for 8. How does that make sense? You suck Outback. They didn't event try to make it right. The male manager could only say "sorry," no guts to do the right thing and make it right, nor any of the girls seating patrons. read more

My wife left a review - so I'm double-dipping. We don't eat out a lot but felt like treating ourselves during a week of work/school. This was a nightmare. First, we are very easy to please. We never complain. First, the place was dead. I haven't been to an Outback in a couple years but I've never showed up to one without a wait, no less like 5 occupied tables. Should have been a clue. We sat down and everyone caught an overwhelming sewer smell. We thought maybe it was an unfortunate draft...it didn't go away. We asked if we could just move tables, which the manager was very friendly and just told us to pick anywhere, but also sorta interrupted my explanation with something like "I've been married 40 years, I know to do what the lady wants" or something to that effect, I'm guessing insinuating that it was my wife's request to move..? Again, he wasn't rude it was just odd. My wife discreetly let him know of the smell, and our waitress said "oh someone else complained about that the other night." Which probably means this isn't new. Bummer since that's not really on them. We contemplated paying for our drinks and bloomin onion and leaving, since the new location in the dining room didn't fix the sewer smell, but we decided to stick it out (future self: listen to your gut). Our waitress was a bit odd. It felt like to me she was filling in for someone - she just didn't have that natural knack for it. She would walk up to the table and stand there for a moment silently, almost forcing you to address her. One time, she walked right up, stood over the table, and not-so-quietly sang the song on the radio until I looked up and said "hi." This was after getting our food. We had been in the restaurant conservatively 25min with our app getting close and she asked us "oh do you want bread?" I thought that was something all tables got when they sat. She forgot our drinks a few times, no big deal. Three of us ordered wedge salads as sides and all asked for different dressings (I don't think there is a standard dressing, so this isn't a big deal) - my daughter asked for no tomatoes on hers and I think my wife said no onions or something, the server said "if you hear my salad maker in the back yelling you'll know why." Huh? These two toppings changes on the salad are enough to enrage the person that makes them? lol. Also, my son ordered a hamburger with no cheese off the kids menu. What do you think he got? A plain breast of chicken with fries. Betcha thought I was gonna say a cheeseburger huh? So after waiting and waiting...he has to wait for his food to get fixed. Okay, whatever. The salad wedge's were bomb. All good. My wife just got potato soup and a salad wedge after how this started. My son has the hamburger debacle, my daughter ordered Mac n cheese - served in the cast iron skillet. I should have known it wouldn't be good when the waitress handed it to my 9 year old without any protection from the heat and it didn't burn here. The food was literally cold. My oldest daughter and I each got a small 6oz sirloin and baked potato. The potatoes were both undercooked (hard) and cold. Bummer. But the steaks...I don't know what happened there. The flavor was as if the steak was old, maybe freezer burned. I have had steaks at outback before and never did I taste this. It was almost irony, very gamey. It really tasted as if it was bad. My daughter felt the same. We each only took about 2 bites of our steak and potato. We all agreed to just get out of there. I don't like to complain, so I didn't. However, never once did the waitress ask us how things were (or I would have politely let her know.). Also, when she came to collect the plates, it was obvious we were sending two steaks and potatoes back untouched. She never said "hey, was everything up to par? Any issues?" I think she knew not to ask. And don't get me wrong, I didn't say anything so I can't blame her for not asking...but I'm not the waiter. All in all - I think we've had our last Outback experience. This was a bottom three restaurant excursion. Absolute mess. read more

I hate to give a 2 star review but this was one of the worst experiences we have had in a restaurant. That's crazy because we have loved Outback for like 15 years! Never have had an experience like this. From the moment we walked in there was a heavy sewage smell. We had to move tables because it was so terrible. (We just should have left at this point) But we stayed and moved tables even though it still had a lingering smell. Our waitress was nice but she kept forgetting stuff we ordered or asked for like refills/bread/lemons. Then they brought my son the incorrect wrong meal so we had to wait for a remake. My husband and daughter both ordered steaks and both of them stopped eating because the steak tasted like iron. They asked for medium cooked. It wasn't a "bloody" taste but just like freezer burn or old maybe? I don't know. I know that sounds weird but both of them experienced this. Then they both had baked potatoes but the potatoes weren't fully cooked. They were super hard but somehow cool?My daughter's Mac n cheese was cold. The food was all around very terrible. The manager (at least I think he was) was super kind and friendly. You could tell he was trying to be accommodating. For reference: we had a family of 5, 3 kids under 17. Then my husband and I. We aren't picky people and we understand things happen but this was worse than that. The overall ambiance/experience was this: we were in a small town, walked into the only diner in town and no one was there. The place was rundown and the food sucked. I am sorry to even write this review but maybe it will help the overall service and quality or prevent another family from wasting money here. read more

For starters if I could give a no star I would. I ordered a filet mignon, baked potato and a salad with thousand island dressing through door dash. I'm not sure where things went wrong but I noticed right away that they listed a sirloin steak, so I called Outback and and the manager said it was not their issue as I went through a 3rd party. All I asked was if the could change the steak and I would pay the difference. Flat out NO! So I decided to let the food just come as it was, when it showed up the steak was over cooked and we got mashed potatoes and a salad with ranch. The manager argued with me over this. I told him I could send pictures to him. I told him we wanted a new potato and steak. He was very nasty and had someone just leave a potato at the hotel desk. We ended up taking with door dash and got a refund. It should not matter whether we go through a 3rd party or not the food should come as ordered. read more

We used to go to the Boise Outback at least once a month for Prime Rib. Then they stopped offering it, so we stopped going. Recently, we went to Seattle, and the Outback there had prime rib, so, of course, we went there twice during our four-day visit. When the Boise Outback starts offering prime rib again, we'll start going back. In the meantime, we go to Texas Roadhouse for their prime rib. read more

I haven't eaten at an Outback for probably eight years as they aren't in my area. I was disappointed. I can almost forgive the young lady server for lacking experience/training, but when you ask for bread five times? Water three different times? The quality of the food is not what it used to be. They changed their menu and food last week. Ordered the grilled shrimp like I usually do. OMG!! so much more rice, the shrimp were smaller and less of them. They were served on a piece of garlic bread to make it appear like more food. Very disappointing! read more

We went as a group from a different steakhouse to outback to celebrate . The food was terrible. The steak was way too fatty and overcooked. The atmosphere was campy and frankly embarrassing. The service was subpar, but the food stood out as so bad we will never come back. So thanks for that. read more

I hadn't been to an Outback Steakhouse in years but last weekend out of the blue my older kids were over and said you know what sounds good? I wasn't very enthused because the reason I had t been to the Outback in years is because all my experiences weren't great! Not in particular this location but just in general. To be honest I was pretty impressed....the service was fantastic I wish I would've saved my receipt and got her name but she was awesome! Inside restaurant was typical Outback and nothing has changed but very clean and ambiance is what you would expect. Food was Outback food wasn't amazing, wasn't bad but it was just chain steakhouse food. I had the 9oz filet and while it was cooked perfect really lacked some flavor. But dipped it in their creamy horseradish sauce and went down the hatch just fine. Everyone left enjoyed the time and to be honest would consider going back if we were just looking for a chain restaurant meal. read more

I had tenderloin, baked potato, and Caesar salad evening of 2/13/2026. My waiter was Tyler I believe (bald head). He took half of my baked potato that I wasn't finished with back to kitchen and didn't even ask me if I was finished. I thought maybe I set the silverware a certain way for him to think that but couldn't figure it out. My boyfriend's sirloin he ordered was supposed to be medium well but it was medium rare. I came here last night for dinner and had a great experience. Our server Fernando was awesome. He was attentive and polite. He made the experience worth it. We had gotten the blooming onion. The classic Outback Steakhouse appetizer. Was actually really good. Had some great crunchy pieces. The sauce was good also. I myself ordered the new chimichurri sauce steak. The sauce was really really good. Lots of cilantro and garlic. The steak was cooked medium rare liked I asked. The loaded mashed were awesome and the broccoli weren't over cooked. We have always been so happy with the meals and staff. The staff and food is always fresh. I had a Cobb salad, they had the BEST cherry tomatoes in that salad. I had to ask if they were from someone's garden... they were awesome but so was the shrimp, it was so tasteful. My husband's steak was perfectly cooked. Am I the only one who notices how much The Outback has changed? The food used to be unique, tasty and a cool experience. Now it is like going to Denny's with tiny portions and an outrageous bill. We went to dinner last Friday and I order the 6oz Sirloin steak, Alice Springs Chicken, and loaded baked potato for $27.99. I was SO disappointed when I received my plate. It looked nothing like the picture that was advertised. My steak was literally so small I could eat it in 4 bites. I ordered it well-done, it came to me medium (gross). The chicken was as big as the so-called "sirloin". The potato had like no seasoning, as if the butter had no salt? I can't believe how bad and plain it was. We will not be returning. P.S. The venue is faded and old...nor awful, but has not had any upgrades or Refreshing done, so it is not a bright and happy feeling place. My son had sirloin and shrimp. The plate was certainly not a generous one: only 3 medium sized shrimp, and his "8-oz" sirloin was very small. My ribeye was maybe 3/4 of an inch thick, maybe less...extremely thin, and thinner than the menu pictures by far...disappointing. The flavours were ok, very spicy, but not in a bad way. What a disgrace, The place was filthy and smelled as if a septic tank was leaking. Outback isn't my first choice to dine in period but we had a bunch of gift cards to use up so we came here for dinner saturday night. There was no wait - we started with a bloomin onion which was undercooked and not cut all the way through so we so hard to pull off the petals and the batter was still wet on certain areas. I ordered the 9 oz filet and my husband had clam chowder, 11 oz sirloin and coconut shrimp. I asked for my steak to be cooked medium but it was RARE and my husbands was more well done.
