So I've been here many, times, but never written a review until now. I've always had their steaks, which are delicious. Never left here with an empty belly. This is definitely a "loosen to your belt after dinner" kinda place. They give complimentary soft bread with easily spreadable butter, which is also delicious. This outing I decided to try something different and have a cheeseburger. I must say it was quite mediocre. Very little flavor to it. Wife had a bit and agreed. If this was the only thing I ever tried at this Outback location, I probably would've rated it 3 stars, but I've been here enough to know this place is a Steakhouse, not a burger house. Still, I was expecting their burgers to be a little tastier and juicier than this. They have quite a few steak options, and I've never had a bad one, so I definitely suggest giving this place a try if you've never been. read more

Chains aren't typically our thing but our car was receiving attention at winter Chevrolet so we wanted to grab a bite. Idk when the last time I went to an outback was, maybe 5 years ago...but I was actually very impressed. They brought out a good amount of bread and butter for the kids, service was fast and friendly, I had filet mignon medium it was cooked perfectly. Grilled lobster seasoned well. Even my raspberry tea was delicious. Sweet potato and veggie sides on point. Jumbo coconut shrimp were like 3-4 bites per piece-big. I don't like to give bad reviews, too many people do that for me, but one thing in particular makes location repulsive. The men's room. The smell of urine was so strong that I had to cover my nose and mouth just to use it. It was far worse than any truck stop I have ever encountered on I-80. It truly made me worry about how clean the kitchen was and also the servers hands. Until I know that they have put at least a little effort into cleaning the restrooms I will never be returning. One of the worst experiences. I understand we are going through a pandemic but when I drop $120 on an establishment I expect the order to be correct. Salad was missing. No sauce on the pasta noodles or even on the side. No salad dressing for the one salad we did get that was a stretch in the definition of a salad even a simple house salad it was basically lettuce and tomatoes and barely any cheese. We basically had all the ingredients at home to do all the dinners but we decided to give you a chance an order from your establishment. This was a Saturday lunch visit and was prompted only by a gift card as we live better than 20 miles away. Parking was plentiful and seating was immediate and courteous. Drink orders were taken by the hostess and served promptly although we had to ask for glasses for the beer. Also, $6 for a non craft beer was a little steep. Food service was casual and the 4 dishes ordered were what one might expect at an Applebys or similar. Lunch prices were competitive but given the local demographic, dinner prices on the menu were inconsistent with the surroundings and service. My first time here was a good one. The services were good and with smile. My only issue was when me and my girl asked for a booth. They gave us a bit of a hard time. We had been craving a night to go to a restaurant since the COVID lockdown and since we had COVID boosters today we decided to swing back by the outback steakhouse in Pittsburg, California. They were decidedly short-staffed as there was only one server and we thought we were in for a terrible experience when lo and behold everybody in that restaurant came together to give us a wonderful dinner. Our waitress, Janine, was one of the best we've ever had anywhere. Attentive, friendly, helpful. You name it. Everybody else pitched in to make sure everybody got the attention they needed to have a good meal and of course it was the traditional outback.... beautifully done steaks and all the fixings. I would honestly give more stars but there were some deficiencies still in regards to forgetting items, food being cold, and much longer wait times than anticipated (during a non-peak, week day hour). One of the managers, Frances, does deserve recognition for her professionalism and geniune kind demeanor. I felt she wanted to change the experiences we had had previously so 5 stars to her alone.
