First time back in quite a while, hoping for improvements. Went here for years and was happy with out experience. Host was busy on the phone, not friendly, walked us to our table , didn't say a word. Wife ordered the filet which she ordered mildly pink in the center....... it was delivered rare and had to be sent back after a wait and search for our server. A replacement steak was prepared which was tough and still a little rare. By this time I was finished with my salmon, which also was not entirely cooked, I ate what I could and took the rest home to finish cooking it. We went to Outback since our first choice was too busy. We did not wait long for a table but the waitress brought our water in styrofoam glasses. Next she brought the bread to the table and knocked my water over with the bread tray. Of course the water went all over the table and me. I was soaked. Thank goodness it was only water. It was a fiasco and put a damper on dinner. We were offered a free dessert however, I really seldom eat dessert but took it. Needless to say I was NOT impressed. Other than that, the food was good. I have eaten at Outback before form Clearwater to Orlando. This is the only one I have had two bad experiences with. This time I ordered the Slow Roasted Outback Seasoned Prime Rib. They brought me an 8 maybe 10oz at most and I ordered the 16oz. It was also unseasoned and medium rare when I asked for medium. I sent it back and it came out with looked like a "pinch" of seasoning on it, in the middle. I told my waiter that this is nothing like the picture and not what I was expecting so he again took it to the back and then the manager brought out the next attempt. It was an end cut. He placed it in front of me before announcing that it was an end cut and it looked ROUGH and well done I told him it was unacceptable and he just took the plate and walked away and the waiter brought me my bill. A salad, an appetizer and a drink cost me 35 dollars. I did not even get the entree Do yourself a favor if you read this think long and hard about were you want to eat. read more

I dont often give 5 stars to chains. But this Outback experience was outstanding! Our server Latika was fast. Friendly and efficient. My wife has uncanny ability to order something they just ran out of. This time was steak quesadilla Latika on her own advisef the manage. Who was able to find thy he ingredients to make one and it was delicious. My steak was cooked and seasoned perfectly. And cookie for dessert was yummy. This was not our first choice. I recently had a massive heart attack and instead of sending flowers, my sweet brother sent a gift card from Outback so I could enjoy a great filet and lobster dinner in my recovery. Went today so excited after waiting 2 months. The lobster was very small and literally raw and the steak over cooked. My husband had ribs and the meat was tough and stuck to the bone. They removed the lobster from my bill which was nice, but after a 2 mo. anticipation, I left extremely disappointed. The service was ok, but had a long wait for someone to take us to our table. I visited Out Back Steak House in Winter Haven,FL on Sunday September 8, 2019. I ordered the 10 oz. Salmon for my husband and the Steak with Endless Shrimp for myself. The Salmon on the menu advertised with Bacon & a Chopped veggie tlopping. My husband ordered the Broccoli & Potato Soup as sides and I ordered Salad & Baked Sweet Potato with Cinnamon & Butter. The waitress delivered the bread and it was crusty & hard but edible. We received our meals but my Steak was tasteless as if no seasoning was applied. So, I asked for some Garlic Butter to drizzled over it hoping to enhance some flavor. My Baked Sweet Potato was undercooked & tasteless as well. I requested extra Cinnamon Butter and was delivered cold butter with cinnamon sprinkled over it! I noticed that the Salmon was plain and when I questioned the server she stated "you have to ask for the Bacon & topping" otherwise it's plain. She had no problem ask,ing what portion size of Salmon but not with the Bacon & topping or plain? Upon receiving the check we were looking at charges and I was charged extra for the Garlic Butter and there was a charge for the Potato Soup. I questioned again and was told that the Salmon came with one side. A good server would have clarified upcharges, etc. and not display 'a matter of factly' or such attitude. We were displeased with the taste & quality of the food for the price value. A positive, the Endless Shrimp kept coming! Will not be returning to that location if any Out Back location sorry to say! It's been a long quarantine and I decided to treat my family to some takeout from outback. It cost a lot for dinner here but I thought it would be well worth it. Boy was I wrong! The delivery was 20 min late! When it came to good, I couldn't find ONE thing that was good about our meals. The Aussie fries tasted like they were really old. Our steaks were overcooked and had way too much seasoning on them they literally were not edible. My potatoes were hard as a rock. My husband's broccoli cream soup tasted like someone put broccoli in a blender and then served it. Not even my daughters chicken tenders were good, literally the easiest thing to make. Always a good steak & usually prepared correctly. Service depends upon who is waiting on you, but is usually sufficient. I really enjoy the salmon & crispy chicken sandwich, in case you're not in the mood for beef. The prime rib is pretty good, too! read more

Well I use to love this steakhouse. We've ordered here for the last 15 years and it seems to only get worse. The parking is a joke and we just came to get food and when we ask for ranch and the blossom sauce, which we always get, the girl brings out little cups. When I asked her for big ones, which we always get, she says they're $5 a piece. $5 a piece?!? Are you serious. So I said, did you guys just start doing that? I went to the bar myself to get it. The bartender was very sweet and apologetic. She stated that the fridge for the beer was also an issue and put some beers on ice. The waitress shrugged her shoulders and said "sorry" upon delivery. They didn't look like the menu picture, and were bland. The steak on my steak salad was tiny. It was like a deck of card size - which is great for a dietetically appropriate hospital meal, but too tiny for a normal meal. The lettuce looked like it was a salad in a bag. Hubby's fries were dark brown and cold. They appeared to have been fried in oil past its prime and set out to cool. Come on guys- even fast food restaurants serve fresh fries. From the moment I walked in the door, greeted with friendly (mask covered) faces, until the second I stepped outside again, it was amazingly fabulous! The hosts greeted me right away and led me to exactly where I wanted to be, making friendly small talk along the way. After only a moment, I was greeted by a smiling face that had me smiling in return. Jordan took my drink order and was back quickly. Still smiling. The timing for all my courses was perfect! Even though I ran poor Jordan, because I would forget something else I wanted, it never seemed to be a problem and she just kept smiling. The food (and I'm picky about my steak temperature) was also amazing. From the salad to the steak to the desert. Absolutely amazing! My wife and I come here after being disappointed coming from Crazy Fish in Lake Wales. I called ahead and got seated within 10 minutes. The manager and wait staff were very nice and pricing was reasonable. Drinks were $4 which I though was great! My wife had Pork dish and I had Tilapia with crabmeat which I thought was delicious.Overall it was a great experience! Would definitely recommend this location and will be here again. read more

Another customer who was seated next to us was very pleased with the service he received from the bartender, Summer. He wanted to give her a special tip. Summer explained to him that she had to put it in the till and share it even tho she was the only one working behind the bar. The gentleman asked to speak to the manager Andrea Gonzalez. He told her that he wanted Summer to receive the $20 tip and she said no, that Summer had to split it. When he questioned he she threatened to call the "authorities" and made him leave the restaurant. She, the manager, was very rude. It took almost two hours for us to get our food and when we did get our order the only two steaks we ordered were way over cooked, my medium rare ribeye was well done and the filet ordered medium also came out well done. Our waitress Sandra was very friendly but a bit busy and everything was very rushed! she was seated with 4 tables, one being a very large party and she did her best and never stopped smiling! Our order was taken and obviously put in all at the same time. The bread was cold and the potato soup which is typically one of my favorites cane our cold and lumpy. As she took that back they realized the whole kettle was cold. But before they could warm that they brought the entrees, then just after the soup. My dinner was the 2 lobster tails, which are my favorite and one if the dew places that have real butter, but my butter was cold as well. We did let the waitress know we were very disappointed and she insisted a manager come speak with us because she understood. The most disappointing part was when she came back with a $10 off your next meal coupon because basically the manager couldn't be bothered.
