I came here after work with a few friends to relax and have a knitting/creative night. I ordered the avocado and salmon waffle, which was phenomenal (And the salmon was shaped as a rose)! I also ordered the matcha rose drink, which was very tasty but it didn't have that much of a rose flavor. My friend ordered the lavender latte, which had a really nice flavor. I definitely want to come back and try out their other coffee and food options! read more

I always come here for their taro coffee!! Love how unique this drink is! It is served with iced cold brew coffee and taro cream, topped with a beautiful flower. This cafe spot is a small and cute place for a meet up with friends and they serve food and pastries here as well. read more

Got the chicken avocado with waffles for $9 (and free coffee with check in!) Although it sounded weird, it was quite tasty. The waffle was warm and soft, which I prefer over a super crusty one with this combo. I would have preferred actual avocado instead of the mush but overall, I enjoyed having a bite here while getting some work done. Only thing to look out for is that there's no WiFi on weekends! The atmosphere inside is nice and cozy with plenty of seats. Oddly, the space upstairs seems to be doing some repairs so it was kind of noisy towards the end of my stay. read more

The food is AESTHETIC AF. Atmosphere not as much, but still very cute. Food: 4.5 Taste- 4 Presentation- 5 Atmosphere/Aesthetic: 4 Service: 3.5 Price/Value: 4 Got the salmon set ($13) and french toast set($9). Super fulfilling! I swapped out the croissant for toast, and then basically made myself avocado toast with salmon using the set. The salmon was rolled up so pretty??! Like I'm shook?!?!? Salad had good dressing but wasn't soaked. Loved how all the salmon set was made so you could add together whichever parts you want. As for the interior, it seems more like a cute cafe than brunch spot, but I still like it. Some people just sit there with their computers working on stuff, like a starbucks. I'd def come back here to impress friends with a fancy looking meal. read more

Randomly found this place for brunch/snack (whatever you wanna call). pretty spacious and they also thave outdoor seating. Their eggs benedict was cooked perfectly, the sauce that they used was green but surprisingly flavorful and goes well with the salmon. Yeah this place was....not it. 1) wifi is unstable and doesn't work half the time 2) two hour sitting time limit (so don't expect to study or work here for long) 3) weird ordering system. Even though I ordered at the counter they wanted to deliver it to the table. But I had to move around cuz the wifi sucked. Never got my food or drink after 30 min (despite going to the counter 3 times to check if it had been made, but they didn't have a receipt with my name on it so it seems to have been lost in the business) so I asked for a refund. Was told they were making an exception to give me this refund, because it was my fault for moving tables without telling them. Ok i guess. 4) wifi password is not shown anywhere so you have to ask the already overworked / busy staff to spell it out for you. Wasted the $5.5 subway fare to come here and go back home lol. read more

What a cute coffee shop! I had 45 minutes to kill and the atmosphere was so relaxed and cozy. The Golden latte is on the expensive side (6$) but it's worth it! I just enjoyed my drink and the place was so comfy and perfect for writing! Will go back and try their food options. read more

First. Thank you for the 1st check in complementary drink. I appreciate that. The sandwich i chose was a ham & cheese pressed panini. It came with a soup for a dollar more. The sandwhich was nice. Filled with not a carload of anything amounting to a total of yummieness. The cup of soup was a very small cup. Cute cup bit small that tasted well. People are nice, friendly and helpful. (Especially when he dropped my tea right on the counter). New cup. All good. BUT NOW THE PLACE.... What is this school cafeteria feel you got? I get the minimalistic modernist take of wood and concrete. but than be consistent and put some Florence Knoll chairs in it. I noticed it when I couldnt find the right spot. Very instagrammable dishes!! Came here excited to try the taro cream cold brew and it definitely did not disappointed. The sweet creamy taro cream compliments the bitter coffee very well. I got the maple bacon and egg waffle which was also really good, a little on the sweeter side overall because it also had maple syrup and maple cream but loved it. I think they raised the prices a bit but overall a good spot for a weekend brunch!! read more

I came here on a whim after another restaurant I was trying to go to in the area had closed unexpectedly. From the outside, it looked like a cool little place and was open very late for a brunch spot. The layout of the place was spacious and the decor was nice. When I ordered at the counter the people working there weren't that friendly, but I shrugged it off. I ordered the French toast with no whipped cream yet it still came with the whipped cream. The French toast itself was very fluffy which is always a plus but a little too sweet (made even sweeter by the whipped cream there). I don't hate the place and would go back and give it another chance if I knew someone who really loved it, but I wouldn't be inclined to go back on my own. The decor made me want to love this place a lot more than I ultimately did. read more

Outro has mastered the aesthetic coffeeshop. Lofi music, wooden furniture with wooden painted cement walls. They're open late too. I had their blueberry lemonade refresher, it was really nice and the basil was a good touch. Walked by this place and craving for a waffle on a cloudy Saturday. The atmosphere is relaxing. Plenty of seating inside, nice yellow couch by the entrance. They also have outdoor seating at the back. I ordered an iced tea and a waffle with strawberry, banana and Nutella. The waffle comes with a scoop of ice cream. Overall flavors are good although the waffle is not as airy as I expected. The iced tea is not watery. I might go back to try other things on the menu if I'm around the area. read more

Came here for brunch on a Sunday with my friend. Super packed! You have to seat yourselves, which is fine but good luck finding a table. We had to ask someone to clear one of the tables for us, but she did so quickly. We ordered the strawberry tiramisu waffle, french toast, salmon benedict, and smoked salmon, and we also got drip coffee for free for checking in. The food was really good! Especially the waffle! The food takes a while since they're busy which is understandable. And the seats are too close to the other tables but otherwise it was a good experience. Would deff come back! read more

There's plenty of seating here, more outdoor than in, but the courtyard is very nice. If dining in, be prepared to pay contactless, because you'll be ordering straight from your phone and getting the order to your table. The food here is excellent and we tried the Strawberry Tiramisu Waffles and they were delightfully sweet but light. I has a Matcha Rose latte as well and quite enjoyed the earthy floral flavor of it. Stopped in here on a Sunday morning while waiting for The Strand Bookstore to open. They have a great back deck for outdoor dining, all staff were wearing masks and tables were sufficiency distanced. I had the American breakfast sandwich with a cold brew coffee. The sandwich was a perfect blend of spicy (with sriracha aoli) and sweet with the brioche bun. Coffee was delicious as well. Honestly, such a nice place to grab a bite, study, and relax in. There was plenty of space to sit and work--great variety too, with couches, regular tables, and even an outdoor patio. But what I appreciated most was the cafe's calm and chill atmosphere because I've come to realize how loud some coffee shops can be. I ordered the ricotta and berry waffle, along with a hot tea, and loved how beautiful the plating was. They could have toned it down with the honey (the fruit keeps it sweet enough as it is). Otherwise, every bite was delightful as the ricotta melted perfectly into the little pockets of the waffle. Definitely a place worth revisiting! read more

The food here is too beautiful not to take a picture of it. I took my mom here on mother's day because I knew there would be a long wait. I had the French toast and it was amazing. Last week was my second time at this cafe. The first time I got some berry waffle I think which was really good, I don't know what cream they put on it but it was delicious! My friends also got different waffles from the menu and they enjoyed it. My second trip, my friend got their Nutella banana waffle and she liked it. I got the matcha latte there and it was not all that great, I could taste the powder in the drink so it wasn't mixed/ diffused well enough, that's why 4 stars. I would come back just for the atmosphere to chill with friends and get a waffle if I'm in the mood. If you like getting work done at a cafe this place has decent seating and a few tables to work on. read more

First time here, definitely fall in love with it!!! Ordered -smoked salmon set(I forgot the name) -tiramisu green tea waffle -Decaf Latte -Decaf Hot Chocolate(Less sugar is just right) -Freshly made orange juice Both dishes and dessert are super tasty and the melting tiramisu on top of the waffle is not too sweet but the right creaminess as needed(Must-Have as I would recommend) I love the fact that the girl from the counter are super nice and friendly, and give out devices that suits our need(both of me and my sister can't consume caffeine at the moment) Last but not least, took a star off because this is a serveyourself place(I'm totally ok with it) that before we sat down to the table whoever didn't throw away their stuff, we throw it for them(we sat all the way in the front at the sofa, next to the counter, but it is ok I don't blame no one) But when we about to finish, putting back our clothes on, thinking about giving back the trays to the counters. The girl from the front reminded us again that we need to throw out the garbage and put back the trays to the front. Um I guess it's understandable for her act because we had put our clothes on, but it doesn't feel right to be treated as we are not going to clean up our mess. We were so disappointed. We chose this place out of a long list of recommended brunch spots. This seemed to have unique food so we took a 20 min subway to give it a try. The first thing we saw was a B health code rating in the front window which made us a little nervous. My daughter and I ordered the waffle with banana, strawberry, Nutella and chocolate gelato. I ordered a latte, my husband got a Cappuccino and a mushroom ricotta toast. About 1/4 of the way into eating my husband found a strange thing in his food. At first he thought it was a short hair, but it was slightly bent and had teeny tiny spikes on it, and after a quick google image search it was determined it was the antennae of a cockroach! Let's say maybe it wasn't- though believe it was- it was a hair or some other foreign thing not to be in our food. We immediately stopped eating all together, dumped our food and immediately left. Would not recommend! read more

I've been to this cafe a couple times, mid-day it's a great place to get some work done, and the outdoor garden patio is so cute and quiet. I have tried the bacon avocado toast (really quite amazing, it's worth the price), the pancakes, as well as the caprese panini. Also they have amazing coffee. I recommend trying out the refreshers, that's my next thing to try here! read more

We stoped by this tiny bomb of a place during a weekend city stroll. This place has quite a hipster vibe which i like and most of the food options are quite healthy. We ordered a Golden Latte, which is a turmeric latte, I'm not a fan of turmeric lattes but if you're someone who like turmeric, this ones for you! We also ordered the Avocado Salmon waffle and an Eggs Benedict with beet hollandaise. I loooooved the Avocado Toast it was one of the best I've tried in NYC. Village eateries helmed by power-chef duo Jody Williams and Rita Sodi; four are within a block of each other. I passed the other three (Bar Pisellino, Via Carota, I Sodi) on my way and all had lines out the door. Carota and Sodi are Italian, Buvette is French. There are 2 other Buvettes in Asia and one coming soon in London. Buvette does not do reservations. Buvette is a charming but tiny/cramped space, made more tiny within the last year by NYC's removal of pandemic-era street patios which greatly helped dining capacity. Buvette may sometimes have a few front sidewalk tables, and there's a tiny outdoor patio in the back. The tables and dishware are also tiny. There's a kitchen in the back, but some food is also prepared below the bar in front, where there seem to be some ovens. The food seems reliably consistent here. The menu is short but there are daily specials. I ordered a non-alcoholic ginger soda, crab tartine (a special), lobster a l'Americaine (lobster pot pie) and frites. The soda is always on the menu and is refreshing, with a nice snap of ginger. The crab tartine was fab, a fresh crab salad with avocado atop toast. The lobster pot pie was made in the under-bar oven, a small serving of lobster and veggies with a golden puff pastry topper. Delish. The frites were nicely crisp, served with an aioli. Service was okay, but my hot food took about 45 minutes to come out, apparently because my ticket was lost. Overall a pleasant meal, my first during this visit.

My WMD was loaded just right--fudge, whipped cream, bananas, and strawberries--everything you want, nothing missing. Her S'mores waffle had the whipped cream, graham cracker, and chocolate, and it was just as good. We were both very, very happy. It hit that perfect balance of warm, sweet, comforting, and indulgent without being too much. Exactly what you want when you're treating yourself. Because while I was in a long line, when I get to the front, there's another line to the left of the truck... and people seem to be getting their food faster, and the line is like 2x shorter. So that's kind of confusing. Ambience in line and ordering = chaotic. The line is quick in terms of when it is your turn, KNOW what you want. Because you have like 5 seconds to order and that's it. I ordered the special (the spicy rice, lamb and chicken combo, extra white sauce, 3 squirts of hot sauce, and a topped with fries). $13 in total. I would like to say, advice to folks to know what you want before you come. I did not look at menu options beforehand and I did fairly little research so I honestly did not know what to order, just looked at some google reviews and pictures. That is going to help you, in case you do not want the typical lamb and chicken combo. To the food - 1st - they don't care how much hot sauce you want. they're making these bowls in the masses and are just giving you a single squirt so they can make 20 bowls all at the same time. I was hoping for more spice in what I ordered, but it was very slightly spicy. I'm not sure if they let you serve yourself to more, but I'd definitely want more of the hot sauce. 2nd - I didn't taste any spice in the spicy rice. I'm not sure if, again, due to the fast production that it all just taste like regular rice? but didn't see what the hype was there. 3rd - I genuinely think the white sauce is what brings it all together. The chicken was OK to me. I didn't think it was anything special, and would give it a 3 out of 5. texture was OK, flavor was OK... the lamb definitely stole the show. The lamb was absolutely flavorful and full of delicious spices. This reminded me of what I've had in Dubai. Very rich in flavor and just the perfect amount of spices. Overall, I think if you wait for your food to cool down like 20 minutes, you'll get to taste the flavors more. Everything hot together, for me, just didn't allow me to really absorb all the food. But the rice was your average rice. Pita was deliciously soft and pillowy which complemented the white sauce. Chicken was ok. had an OK texture; nothing life changing. lamb was fantastic, and fries were just fries (nothing memorable). For a NYC experience, a 1-time, 50 minute wait is acceptable. And, for $13, that's pretty cheap for the amount of food you get. I would eat it again if the line was 5 minutes. Otherwise, I'm positive you will find similar food/better food elsewhere.

The pepperoni was about an 8/10. Very good slice of pizza. Nothing noteworthy to me though and no better than other slices I had. A very good piece of pizza. The fig jam bacon was more like a 7-7.5/10. The amount of toppings was lacking. The bites that did have toppings were quite good. Better than the pepperoni. Unfortunately, there were few bites like that. This is very good pizza. It's not the best in the city. Far from it.

But to get your slices... the wait wasn't too bad, even though it felt longer than it did. I probably waited 15 minutes or so? Given the fact that there were 20 others ahead of me, that was not bad at all. By the time you get your food, if you wanted to eat there, you could easily find a spot to slide to, to stand and eat. Pepperoni pizza was delicious. Sauce is on the tangier/more acidic side, more tomatoey. and the pepperoni was great. Slight spice to it, but not as good as L'industries. Nonetheless, this slice was delicious. Hot, melty gooey cheese and lots of pepperoni overload. Crust is divine. I could just eat that by itself. Definitely a great bite whether on the go, drunk, or just because.

Our wait was at least an hour and a half and were texted when our table was ready. They have indoor and outdoor seating with one bathroom for all to use. We got the viral pancakes and they were everything you'd dream they be and then some for sure very filling and buttery. I got a "pick me up" and it was perfect gave me a beautiful caffeine kick to start the day I recommend for sure. Weather you come for the viral moment this feels like a solid staple in the community with bright music playing everyone kind of everywhere and just a relaxed feel that you can't wait to enjoy after you get seated. We ordered the famous honey butter pancakes, the korean wings, and the breakfast sandwich with hash brown, scrambled eggs, and sausage. The honey butter pancakes were pretty good but kinda drenched in the butter that made it hard to finish. The korean wings were also alright but the batter to me was kinda thick and heavy and lacked crispiness. The best item we ordered was the breakfast sandwich with hashbrown, scrambled eggs, and sausage. I think the eggs are cooked with cheese, and as someone who typically does not eat cheese, I didn't mind it. I don't know if I'll be back again - I think the concept of an asian twist on the classic diner does sound intriguing but difficult to execute. I also wasn't a big fan of the wait time. If you typically like heavier, diner food then this spot might be the place for you!

The lamb spine came in a delicious broth, but it was a bit hard eating the lamb from the bone for not a lot of meat. The house steamed fish was also amazing. They don't take online reservations for groups over 5, so we called to make one for our group of 6. It was pretty busy Friday night, so would recommend. The service was great; they drew the cutest card when they found out it was my brother's birthday and let us bring a cake. And they also offered hair ties to the people with long hair. You order through an iPad which has a beautiful menu.

It's one of the larger stalls in the market and has some seating, but not enough, and the market seating is very limited as well. I ordered the hibiscus lemonade and the very spicy Dan Dan Mian. I loved watching the staff prepare the noodles while waiting. My bowl was huge and absolutely delicious. It was very spicy as promised, but not too spicy that it was rendered not enjoyable. I looked at other orders and everything looked delicious, leading to only semi-regret of my choice. My lemonade was very good. I'm very much looking forward to returning.
