We have eaten at this location twice in the last couple of months. Both visits were just ok. We got an offer for a BOGO entree sit we went tonight. We had reservations but the restaurant was almost empty on a Friday night. A few more people came in while we were there but it was very quiet. Our server was not good. She tried to explain a new menu item but couldn't remember the name of it or details. She forgot my tea and had to be reminded. Our meal took a long time to arrive, and while it tasted good it wasn't anything special. My husband requested chili sauce which she never brought. We miss the early days when they brought the sauces to the table and you concocted your favorite. With the discount for an entree our meal was reasonably priced but I'd hate to pay full price especially with such poor service. We won't be back for a long time read more

Came here after a while since we were craving some Chinese food. We ordered from the lunch menu and got the hot and scour soup which was a little bland. For our entrees, we tried the Mongolian beef which was really oily and smothered in sauce. They also mixed it in with the noodles which I thought was odd. They did the same thing for the chilli chicken I ordered. The fried rice was at the bottom and chicken was put directly on top. I'm going to keep this one simple, the only 2 stars is due to the amount of sodium used in the 3 items I purchased. Totally unnecessary and ruins the actual flavor. We came in well after dinner rush as we finally had a date night for the first time in 3 months. We were the only new table in her sections, everyone else was leaving as bussers were cleaning up some tables. Ordered our water, and a wine. Got it, we always say please and thank you and my husband and i both worked in the service industry for many years. We got our soon. egg drop. AMAZING. This was the last time we saw our waitress. Went up to the bar to get silverware and napkins... Got our food. (brought by a runner) Water runs low, nowhere to be found, i find someone walking by and i get up to ask for water. DINNER was delicious. But we have been here fort over an hour now and we would like to check out and she's no where to be seen. If you can, make a reservation. We didn't know this was an option and ended up siting and waiting for about 30 minutes while those with reservations were sat right away. This is located in a outdoor mall so parking is kind of all over the place. The waiting area was sufficient for a wait during lunch time but I can imagine that at dinner time it would be crowded. Our server was Cody and he was super on top of it. He was attentive and always there when we needed him. Seriously...my water glass was never empty. The food..... I don't think there are enough words to describe the flavor of everything we ate. We had the calamari for an appetizer. The rings were perfectly cooked and the sauce that it came with was pretty good. It did have a little kick to it though. We had the lobster dumplings and OMG were they amazing. I wish they had that sauce in a to go container because it was the absolute best. The dumplings were stuffed with lobster meat and were cooked to perfection. We also had the Flank Steak and the Mongolian Beef. Both were tender and juicy and full of flavor. The portions were pretty large so there will absolutely be leftovers. Don't hate me... I love P.F. Chang's. I don't love their prices... but I have to say, my food always tastes good the ingredients are fresh and there's always enough to take some home. I often stop in to P.F. Chang's when I'm by myself so I eat at the bar where seating is rarely a wait. I have also noticed I tend to get my food faster when I sit at the bar. I'm one to enjoy a cocktail now and then and I usually let the bartender recommend something. I have yet to be disappointed. I am always impressed that the staff are friendly and willing to make recommendations. The establishment is always clean and well staffed. My "beware" is a meal for one can cost, with beverages and gratuity, upwards of $55 dollars. It's not an everyday dining experience but it's definitely one I enjoy when I go. A year ago signed up for their loyalty rewards and found that I quickly earned rewards. There is a paid version that might be right for regular visitors but I haven't pencilled it out to see if it would work for me. I recommend P.F. Chang's for a pleasant and tasty meal and good service. read more

We've been here several times and every time we have a great meal. The staff is always friendly. The restaurant is clean and mostly low key. It can be a great date night dinner place in a booth or a nice drinks and appetizers stop with a friend. The food is always flavorful! We've tried many dishes and haven't had one we've been disappointed in yet. Our favorite dish is still the lettuce wraps. They're just absolutely yummy! Adding more pictures for reference. I really love the food at PF Chang's. It wasn't crowded at all on a weekday afternoon. Today I got chicken lettuce wraps to go, which I personally prefer over the vegetable wraps, & it was so yummy and the lettuce was fresh and crisp. Most of the dishes we ordered were inedible---gummy, way overcooked, and too sweet. The menu description of one dish was inaccurate. Maybe my expectations were too high, but I feel like the food was a really big let down. First the positive: We sat at the bar and our bartender was amazing. Super friendly, wonderful drinks and service, great atmosphere. Loved it. I'd have given it four stars on that alone. Now the...not so hot. We ordered the chicken lettuce wraps as an appetizer and it was both sweet and bland at the same time. I actually asked if they could bring me some chili oil or chili paste or something to season it with because it was just...sweet. That's all it tasted like. It also came with half a head of ice berg lettuce which...not a great vehicle for a lettuce wrap. A more foldy/leafy lettuce would have been amazing. But it was just crunchy water + sweet. I ordered the chili-garlic green beans and the kung pao brussels sprouts as an entre (both are technically apps, but figured two apps would make a good meal). The portions were decent sized, but again, the kung pao was sweet (for all the fire symbols next to dishes, they sugar the heck out of their sauces here). The green beans were less sweet and pretty tasty, but unfortunately were kinda limp and greasy, like they had been overcooked. My partner ordered the chicken kung pao entrée, which was kinda "meh." He was a bit disappointed as his portion size was pretty small compared to even each individual app I got, which was a shame since he at least liked his kung pao more than I liked mine. I'd gladly come back for the bar, the drinks, and the atmosphere. I'd go somewhere else for food. For the price, the food is just...mediocre. read more

Disappointing dinner tonight. Missing sauces, sauce we received was not it, missing items and super small portion in one dish. Just overall disappointing and frustrating as we paid for dinner that we couldn't enjoy. Very dry food, again not how and what we ordered. Also, missing rice entirely in one dish. Paid $74 for the entire other and didn't enjoy any. Ordered ONE dish GF and the others regular. Based on todays experience, we unfortunately won't try again. ------------- Update: Tips: #1 Label sauces and bag them individually for take out #2 Cross contamination is not acceptable on a GF dish #3 DONT make a sauce GF if the customer asked for a regular sauce (Update: talked to Megan and she said chef made both sauces GF in case of cross contamination inside the bag, again no labels so no idea this was done and explains why black sauce WAS NOT good and as the usual) Spoke to manager today and felt like we were at fault. Like we are doing them a favor I'm going there and we should accept as is. I was super kind on the phone, I don't like complaining. I wanted to give some feedback. They offered a gift card but we did not accept. I would have appreciated a refund for the dishes that did not come out as ordered and stated on the menu. read more

Ordered my food to go online at 7:21pm said it would be ready by 7:49. Waited in the lobby for the food until 8:20. This is the 4th time this has happened. Every time the claim it's because I ordered gluten free but when I sit down in the restaurant & I never wait an hour for my food. If you order gluten free be prepared to wait in the lobby for at least a half hour. And if someone in your party order non gluten free be prepared to eat a cold entree. If I were to give any highlights about my experience this time is at least I didn't wait in the lobby 50mins like last time. read more

P.F. Chang's has always been an expensive Chinese restaurant. You pay for the ambience, the decor, the staff uniforms, the nice black square plates. But the food used to be good. I look forward to this restaurant location closing so maybe some good food can go in its place. I hate knowing so many people are wasting their money here. The Pear Mojito had a little too much sweet syrup. I didn't really taste the pear or mint. I ordered the pork lo mein. It was a plate of noodles. $16 for $5 worth of noodles and 5 pieces of meat. I ordered this dish because it came with mushrooms and I love mushrooms! I found shavings of mushrooms in the dish. I could barely see them. The dish is also supposed to come with vegetables. The only vegetables I saw on the plate were some red cabbage and carrot pieces you would find in a grocery store pre-made bag of salad. It was so disappointing. I couldn't eat it. The server forgot to put my order of noodles in with everything else and apologized when I asked if they were still coming. It sucks to see the staff overworked. The hot and sour soup came out room temperature. I could see steam coming off of it but it still felt cold to me. I couldn't eat it and asked the server to do something. They came back with the soup. It had more steam and was slightly warmer but I still couldn't eat it. I like my soup hot. I ordered the chocolate souffle. I've had chocolate souffle elsewhere and loved it so I was excited to see it on the menu. I expected it to take awhile but it came out sooner than expected. It was served with the scoop of ice cream on top, deflating the cake. The cake had an outside shell, but the bottom half was uncooked batter. I set it aside. The only thing I ate was the lettuce wraps. They were good. At least I had one good thing to eat. read more

Stopped in for lunch and the waiter was not engaged at all. It also took 40 minutes to get my food. When food is taking longer than normal the waiter/waitress usually notifies the table of that. That didn't happen. I wasn't checked on or asked if I would like a refill on my drink either. On top of all this... I told the waiter I was finished eating and the rest would be to go. Usually at this establishment they come to your table and box everything up nicely for you and put it in bags. NOPE not today!! He put some to go containers and bag on the table and walked away. We heard that the restaurant changed ownership so we decided to go back hoping that the management that ran this place previously had moved on. The previous manager that was rude was gone, or at least not there the same night we dined. It looks like they left behind an incompetent hostess. First, we had reservations and arrived 5 minutes early. She refused to seat us until exactly our time. This was fine, but when she finally brought us to our table, she sat us at the smallest table in the entire restaurant when we had 4 people in our group. Our order did not fit on the table. We kept having to adjust our plates and drinks the whole night. Because of this, we did not get to enjoy our meal, always afraid that a plate would fall off the table or a drink would spill. Then, I noticed that she sat a few parties before us with only 2 people in a large booth that could fit 5-6 people comfortably!!! What the heck was she thinking? When I brought up that I was unhappy where she sat us, she basically told me that I had to wait if I wanted a different table. This is odd since we had reservations and the several parties that she sat before us did not have reservations. This is completely poor planning on the hostess' part. Her only job is to greet and seat people, she failed miserably. I looked around the whole restaurant and everyone was seated comfortably except us. This hostess really ruined our meal. read more

I think I finally figured out what the P.F. in P.F. Changs means: Pricey Fart! We hadn't been here in over 10 years, but we all recalled how good (albeit a bit spendy) the food was here last time we went. Mother's Day rolled around and we couldn't find a reservation anywhere. We were thrilled we were able to somehow manage a same day reservation here on Mothers Day. 6 of us arrived. The service was decent, this review is purely on the food, as the waitresses and staff really did a good job. We had 2 orders of Crispy Honey Shrimp and and another Crispy Honey Chicken. All three "crispy" dishes were in fact soggy. Like they hadn't been fried long enough. The chicken and shrimp themselves seemed cooked, but the coating was in a word: gross. We "upgraded" 2 of those dishes to "Lo-mein" and "Fried Rice". The Lo-main turned out to literally be plain spaghetti noodles. No veggies no sauce, nothing. Weird! The fried rice - OMG. What was this?? It seemed to be white rice that was thrown in a wok, with nothing else. Again no other veggies or anything, it was just rice, that had been fried. It tased off, I asked both my wife and kid what they thought of my fried rice. Weird faces all around. I only ate 1/4 of my fried rice because I had alarm bells going off. I'm glad I listened, as an hour later I was having to find a bathroom stat! Kid too. We probably won't be going back to this location at least. For over $200, you'd think you could at least get lo-mein and fried rice correct, not to mention the soggy crispy. Out of our party of 6, 4 of us took leftovers. We then proceeded to leave, and not 10 minutes later, on separate occasions, we find all of us secretly threw our leftovers in the trash! My kid says Panda Express would've been way better, and I wholehearted agree! read more

Terrible food delivered for a premium price. The mapo tofu I ordered was delivered 15 minutes ago & after 3 bites it is now sitting in my trash. Over $20 on a dish that is full of gummy, flavorless tofu, hardly cooked unseasoned broccoli, and dry rice. Straight into the trash. The cherry on top was opening up the crispy green beans and finding they didn't give me the sauce it comes with. You don't eat them without sauce so it's just pitiful. Won't be back anytime soon and I certainly won't spend $50 to deliver this straight to my garbage can again. Lesson learned. read more

It used to be a 4-star, but now between 2 and 4 stars, as this location does not have the hot spicy dip sauce for the potstickers and lettuce wraps, replacing it with a mayo-weak mustard type sauce. I was charged for a meal that wasn't mine and learned I would either have to wait (had already been 3 weeks) to get proper credit or go to my bank and contest the charge. Rachel, with a great demeanor, fixed the problem by giving me some gift cards which are of greater value than the charge. Yes, I will have to come back but my issue was never with the food or the servers. So, happy the issue is resolved and will be back. (Note: DO NOT use the QR system to pay. This place is a scam. Parents. Tell your kids "not to double tip the server" if your kids are going to have dinner at this place for prom, birthday party, or any occasions. They automatically add 25% gratuity for the party of 6, or 8, or whatever. Then they still ask them for the tip. They trick kids. What the actual f? Be careful of this place. They trick innocent kids!! The food is already bad and over priced. And they ask for 25% gratuity. And they don't even inform the kids the tip is already included. SCAM. Shopping at Bridgeport Village usually means a visit to P.F. Chang's. We live about 45 minutes away and don't have P.F. Chang's any closer since the downtown Portland location closed a few years ago. Yes, P.F. Chang's is a chain and not really "authentic" but it's still tasty. Plus, the food is generally pretty consistent and that's a plus. We weren't wanting a full meal on our last visit so just ordered appetizers to eat. We asked for steamed shrimp dumplings, pan-fried pork dumplings, tempura shrimp roll and lettuce wraps. My husband loved the shrimp dumplings and tempura. I liked the pork dumplings but they were close to being burned. The pork inside the dumplings could have also used more seasoning as it wasn't very flavorful. The taste came mostly from the sauce I added. The lettuce wraps were as great as always and we even had leftovers! The restaurant recently changed their plateware and I think their new serving dishes look spectacular. We sat outside on the front patio and it was perfect weather for this. Our server was attentive and helpful and helped make for a nice afternoon break. read more

Something very strange happened, the ginger that came with my sushi tasted like pinesol. Straight up pinesol. I thought I was tripping. I asked someone else to taste it, they thought the same thing. I got very weirded out. Sent it back, they took it off the bill, but then of course my anxiety started up. I started thinking about how much trust we put into strangers to serve us food we will consume. I really kind of couldn't eat after that. I was even googling what does old ginger taste like later that night. I've been eating sushi for over 20 years. I can put money on the fact that I have ate old ginger at some point. But never did I eat ginger that left a perfume pinesol aroma in my mouth. It was messed up. Other than that yes the food was good.
