It is pretty cute and small on the inside. It does have seating outside. I loved the lightning that was inside a lot. I ordered the Maitake wings and the Smokey BBQ Burger. They were both so good I would definitely get them again. The wings have mushroom on the inside and you can ask to try the wings with every kind of sauce offered. The buffalo sauce was very spicy but out of all the sauces for the wings I enjoyed the BBQ one a lot. The smokey bbq burger was so yummy. YUMMY! I finally got to visit this place after hearing about it from friends. The staff was so friendly and helpful. The bar has great drinks, and the food was delicious!! I got the chicken pot pie and if they didn't tell me it was vegan I wouldn't have known the difference. My friend and I really, really, really enjoyed PS Kitchen. We liked the menu, ambiance, and overall experience here. The concept is great, a plant-based restaurant that donates 100% of their profits to charity and offers jobs to the marginalized of NYC through partner organizations. We ordered two appetizers to start so we could try more items: Crispy Artichokes with Lemon Aioli and the Buffalo Maitake Wings with celery, potato salad, house blue cheese. Both were very good but the buffalo wings were phenomenal - my favorite item I had easily. Great size maitake mushroom with a delicious spicy buffalo sauce. The potato salad was also very good. My friend and I both went with the Orzo Alfredo entree add beyond meat sausage. It's served with cashew cream, broccolini, sun-dried tomato chili paste. It was VERY very good. We loved it. The orzo was a good texture and the chili paste was delicious! For dessert - we chose two again: Apple Cobbler with coconut whipped cream, cashew caramel and the Brownie with cashew caramel and coconut ice cream. Of these two the apple cobbler was the clear winner - the brownie just didn't do it for me - but the coconut ice cream was yummy. Total for the meal was around $90 a person. Very good meal. Service was OK, not especially attentive, but it was good and our server was polite. Great location right at Times Square and about a 6-minute walk to most of the Broadway shows - so we had dinner and walked to our theater. The decor and ambiance inside is very simple but classy. That's what happened last week when Jamie W. and I went to see the excellent revival of Rodgers & Hammerstein's "Oklahoma", and even though they served complimentary small bowls of chili and cornbread at intermission, we still felt peckish. I was worried it would be packed with the post-show crowds, but we easily found seats at the bar. Since we were at the bar feeling like the corn was as high as an elephant's eye, we ordered cocktails because that's what New Yorkers do around midnight, right? All dishes are vegan , despite the chicken wording you see on the menu. Chicken just means that it's a replica of chicken but soy based. We hand a glass of white wine which was simply crisp and delicious and a side order of truffle fries - again all vegan. I found this restaurant while looking for vegan NYC restaurants on Yelp and decided to visit on a Sunday evening. The restaurant is beautiful and has a relaxing ambiance, so it is the perfect place for a date or intimate gathering. I was in a party of two (including myself) so I did not find it necessary to make a reservation, but as there is a lower and upper level for seating, we were immediately seated regardless. I ordered the orzo alfredo with chicken (extra cost) and my friend ordered crispy artichokes and buffalo maitake wings; the food came out fairly quickly. The reason for my three-star rating is because the quality of food that I received did not match up with the price. I felt as though my plate of the orzo alfredo and chicken looked like one of those plastic replicas of food that children play with. Furthermore, it didn't taste great either. For $27, I expected to be blown away, but the more I ate, the more disappointed I became. The dish lacked in flavor and the textures were off. I tried the crispy artichokes and they were also lacking in that wow factor, surely not worth $14. I didn't get to try the buffalo maitake wings, but my friend said that she enjoyed them. According to her, they were better than the orzo alfredo and crispy artichokes combined, so for those who plan on visiting (although I recommend against it) I would go with the wings to be safe. AMAZING trendy, tasty, all vegan restaurant in the Theater District. This is honestly the best vegan restaurant I have ever been to. I will warn that the menu is limited- however, every dish was absolutely fantastic. My parents are vegetarian and have tried countless vegan restaurants, and have never been satisfied. The food is out of this world, I truly could not believe that this restaurant was all vegan: The buffalo maitake wings are a MUST try. They were crispy, savory, and filling with just the right amount of spice. It comes with celery, carrots, a ranch dip, and potato salad. I love that they didn't over-bread and fry the outside. This dish was easily the first to go. The Beyond meat meals we ordered were both also 5-star meals. The PS burger was so delicious: Beyond meat, great condiment supplements, a thick bun, and a side of fries. The burrito was LOADED with Beyond "meat", veggies, queso- I had it for two meals. The prices are what you would expect- around $15-17 per meal. Honestly, we thought it was super reasonable for the quality, uniqueness, and amount of food we got. Rating is based on staff and experience which caused us to leave. Had a reservation for 3 weeks prior. When we arrived we were told someone was at our table and got referred to the 'overflow' table.
