I can not say enough how great it was to find Pacific Coast Benz!! I went in with a noticeable problem that has been going on for 2 years, and 3 Dodge dealers could not and would not acknowledge this issue after a new transmission was put into my Sprinter, now just barely out of warranty of course. I explained the issues to Tom and his crew heard and felt it right away when they drove my van..... It was however not an easy fix, but they refused to give up. They found the issue after several days of looking, they fixed it and I am very confident they made sure that everything they touched or saw aside from the one issue was tightened, adjusted and made secure in my van and was right upon completion. I travel a lot in that van, it ran like a top all the way home, 500 miles away!! The honesty, integrity and professionalism I experienced was a refreshing change from the Dealerships. I recently had the mechanics here replace the accelerator sensor in my 2002 ml320 after the car kept stalling and losing power while driving. Most mechanics quoted me around $1300 for the repair but here they did it all for only $350! Great same-day service, and great customer service. Tom and Viktor are great! We have a 09 c300 and apparently it's common to have the taillight assembly and harness changed out due to the wires burning out. For some reason this has happened to thousands of mbz owners and no recall. Anyhow I hate the stealership but I got a quote from them for $450... "roughly". I also got 4 quotes from other mbz specialists in yelp with 5stars. Hands down these guys beat the other prices. They took me in without an appointment (they looked busy with 5 other cars), checked it out for free, showed me the problem, had the oem parts and finished in less than 2hrs. These guys rock! I am very impressed with the service I received at Pacific Coast Benz. They not only diagnosed a fairly serious issue with my car right off, but they also found the cause of some other issues and in the end saved me money. Previously I was using the top Newport Beach dealership for both our Mercedes cars service needs and was very disappointed after several bad experiences with their auto repair services. Pacific Coast Benz went above and beyond my expectations in their service, friendly communication, and overall enthusiasm for the job they do. They were happy to show me everything they did to make the repairs, explain it all to me, and they even showed me the parts they replaced. And the service bay and office was spotlessly clean. Honesty and integrity are the two words that I will use to describe the people I had the privilege to work with. I came into this location after a friend said they were good. At first I didn't know what to expect, I had a very unique problem and I wasn't sure how things would go. These guys were honest with me and upfront with me and a very small situation ended up really being nothing. These guys could've taken me to the cleaners and I would've allow them to because I know nothing about Mercedes-Benz diesel motors. Mr. Curtis sometime it is impossible for the independent service to know all the recalls. Most of these are covered by special extended warranty. I'm absolutely sure if Pacific Coast Benz would do the repair, the dealer would eventually provide refund. Tom and his crew is extremely honest. My mom had a faulty fuel sender, and Tom was aware of this issue as soon as I mentioned it. They checked and confirm the part being bad. They recommended I visit the dealer. I did in couple days, and MB replaced at no cost. By the way thank you Tom! read more

If you're a Benz owner, you know how expensive maintenance can get when the warranty expires. I used to have my CLS serviced at Fletcher Jones of Newport till I found these guys - Vic & Tom. They are all about great customer service and quality work for a reasonable price. What you would pay for parts alone at Fletcher, you can get the entire service at Pacific Coast Benz. For example, I had an instance where Fletcher wanted to charge me $1,400 for parts alone plus labor which would have been an additional $300-400. PCB charged me $1,350 for everything out the door. They are MB certified and use all authentic MB parts. I'm extremely happy and lucky to have found these guys. Check em' out! read more

Have a 2003 Sprinter work horse I use for my motorcycle repair business . Anyway I had multiple fuel leaks and then lost pressure and the van died , brought it to a diesel specialist who said it was a 1500 high pressure fuel pump so per his recommendation I replaced it and the van ran but fuel leaks were still there and strong diesel in the cabin was yet another issue. An oring on an injector was leaking hissing fuel and air and I was quoted 9500 and over 5k at this specialist place. Been a customer of mine to own a motorcycle also had a sprinter told me about Tom over at Pacific Coast bands and said why don't you have him take a look at it before I could van died again and I'm willing to bet that the high-pressure fuel pump was never an issue because it continue to happen on a daily intermittently from the injector leak . So when I took it to Tom and have them take a look at it told him to call me it was only a couple hours until he said Jimmy it's ready and I said are you kidding me how much do I Owe you? It was like 500 bucks and they did the job that both places were quoting thousands of dollars for in a few hours.. since I brought it back multiple times and I will never let anyone else touch my Benz again!!!! Most wonderful experience!!! Car needed a service B, fletcher jones quoted $1200 for the service, my cars lease is up in 3 months so I was looking for an alternative. The guys here were great! Only did what was absolutely required, for a great price, about $225. Even fixed my car charger port for free! Great attitude and weren't pushy about doing any unnecessary services. I took my car here after my dealership left me in need of a tow, and I am very glad that I did. They did the work very promptly and everything seems to working great. Service and friendly attitude is exceptional and leaves me wondering why I've been paying dealership prices all these years. When push comes to shove, dealerships don't stand behind their work, but charge quite a bit more, making you think as if they would (you get what you pay for, right?). If you own a Mercedes, this is the place to go. I've had all types of service done with these guys (brakes, rear main seal, mounts) and not once have I been disappointed. Victor , Tom, and the rest of the guys here always go the extra mile. My 94 c280 didn't lock/unlock from the drivers side...and what do they do? They fixed it at NO CHARGE. How' many mechanics would go out of their way to fix something for free? Trust me when I tell you I'll never get service done anywhere else. Their prices are very reasonable, the quality of their work is superb, and their knowledge about Mercedes vehicles are few of the reasons why I'll keep coming here.
