A great flavor on the Tom Yum soup. Citrus-y, umami, fresh mushrooms, and shrimp. Some of the best Pad Thai I have tasted and the beef and noodles in the Pad Kee Mao were cooked to perfection. I would say, some of the best Thai food available in Long Beach. The dining room is spacious and clean. There is a private lot with plenty of parking in the D&D Discount Store lot. They served my wife's soup way before our entrees so we couldn't eat together, so that sucked. But everything else was good. Note: They are closed on Weds and they also close between lunch and dinner service, so check the hours before coming.

Drove by this place for ages without realizing that it would be a great Thai bbq place. Easy and plenty of parking spaces. The place doesn't look like Thai restaurant, it's more of wooden oldies western style. Went here for dinner and got table right away. There was only one person working the whole place (front of the house that is). She was wonderful, friendly and nice person. She's fast too for 6 tables. She took the orders without writing it down (for us at least) and within 10-15mins, the foods start coming out. Big portion for the prices, great taste and great quality of the meats. Perfect seasoning since my kid literally ate them all and he's a picky eater. The place is clean, airy, funky but settle decoration (still got holiday decor up). Overall we enjoyed it a lot more than we thought with good foods & great services.

Great first time here. Everything tasted fresh and flavorful. The baked mussels and The Tiger Wings were really good, and the fried rice had huge shrimp. We finished with the tiramisu and it was delicious. The place was clean and the service was quick. Would definitely come back.

Came here based on the 4.5-star rating, but I should've read the reviews more carefully. Service was friendly and the food came out quickly, but that's where the positives end. The shrimp tempura was average. The strawberry lemonade was overly sweet and tasted artificial. The food quality was very disappointing. The crab fried rice was made with imitation crab, even though we were told it was fresh snow crab. All the fried rice dishes were overloaded with chunks of egg. The chicken pad Thai was not good at all--the chicken was tough, large, and clearly not fresh. We took a few bites of everything and couldn't continue eating. When I told the server we were unhappy, we were still charged the full $72 with no attempt to make it right! Would not return.

Alright yall if you've read my reviews before you know I'm very honest and I don't play with my food because my moto is FOOD IS LIFE!! I tried this place yesterday and it was amazing it was freshly cooked I ordered the seafood fried rice and it was delicious I contained lightly battered fish, shrimp, mussels, and I believe squid but don't quote me on it onion and tomato the sea food was cooked to perfection and didn't have a fishy smell , my partner ordered crab fired rice and the same with that the rice was cooked perfectly and the crab was found to be cooked to highly delicious standards as well we also ordered fried chicken egg rolls and those where to die for it was crispy without being soggy fully packed the staff was very polite as they stayed open even though they were about to close I didn't feel any anger or awkwardness as the guy offered to give suggestions on what to order as we had never been there before it's very peaceful and small so there's no over crowding during the day it gives a very welcoming vibe

Love their Chicken Satay, Pad See Ew, and BBQ Combo number 1! Everything was wonderfully delightful! Service and ambience were amazing. Date night became available and after a rainy day I quickly looked for a good Soup spot, found this place and looked good not to far from the beach. So this place was perfect. Managed to get sunset and perfect dinner . Food. Wow did not disappoint! Waitress was so nice and freindly! Food was delicious!!! Soup was to the exact Flavor I was looking for. Orange chicken was crispy and sauced so perfectly! 10/10 coming back soon!

I came here today Monday around 11:30 am craving thai food. I saw their hours sign and understanding that they open at 12 I went to DDs to shop and come back.Coming back at 12:03 still surprised they weren't open yet. This really is a let down and misguiding towards customers. Please at least update your sign..

Love this place! I've only discovered this business during social distancing so I can't say much about the atmosphere or customer service. However, the chef and the host are so giving and polite. I've even gotten coupons and a free appetizer once. As for the food... DELICIOUS! One thing I can say is that of all Thai restaurants I've been to, this chef definitely favors the sweet elements in the dishes. In a good way that is. The portions are also fairly generous. Every time I get the crab fried rice there's always chunks of crab and egg(the best part). One critique......??? The yellow curry could definitely use some more chicken. Ordered food for delivery twice this month. Forgot to take pictures. It's the best Thai food we've encountered in Long Beach. We especially love the Pad See Ew with Beef - DELICIOUS! We love Pad Thai Classic We used to order wings all the time and they're so good. Literally, all of the flavors are delicious and wings are perfectly cooked. I recently found out I can't eat gluten and we were craving Pad Thai Classic. I called for take out and the women was so patient with us. She went to the kitchen multiple times to clarify if items were suitable for my dietary needs. She gave us suggestions and went above and beyond to accommodate us. Being gluten free can make me feel like an inconvenience but she was so courteous. She made us feel like the most important and valued customers. You can't go wrong coming here. read more

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this place! The waitress was AWESOME and with a very welcome smile! The ambience of the place is just AMAZING! Now let's talk about the food: (1) it was done in a VERY timely manner, (2) I ordered yellow curry and it was OUT OF THIS WORLD. The texture, the smell, the TASTE was something that was beyond anything that I have tasted at a Thai eatery in Long Beach. In spite of its lackluster food service performance on two separate occasions, I still rate this restaurant 5 stars. Mainly because the food comes through with both quality and taste. Today we had a food server who was just too cool for school and was annoying to the very end. Goodbye tip. Among other things he said they were out of limes when I asked for ice water with lime. Then when my pad Thai came with a lime, I knew it was time to talk to the owner. Andy, the owner, completely acknowledged and respected my complaint and said he would fix the problem with the young male food server. He also gave us an unrequested $10 gift certificate which showed me he was a serious owner who was serious about his business. I highly recommend this up and coming Thai restaurant. read more

Like mentioned, whenever I'm in Long Beach a visit here is always a must. The service is amazing as all the staffs are very friendly and welcoming. The place isn't that big but a fairly decent amount of seating on both side. They do have a table out front but it's only one. Menu has pretty much a good selection of Thai dishes. I like what I like and tend to go for the same items as they are one of the place that makes it the way I prefer. And why is it some Thai places don't offer their classic dish, the boat noodles. I've been to a few and they don't offer it while some places, it's not that good. Here, it's alway consistent and very flavorful. That a must for me and alway ordered. We also love the papaya salad which you can have Thai style or Laos style. Depending on what your preference is. Their larb is great as well. Very flavorful and tasty. Of course our main items we tend to get here, the boat noodles which I love as it's flavorful, broth is perfect and all the extras added. Also all their curries are excellent. Lately we've been getting their massaman curries which the flavors is really nice. Whatever protein you like. The curries do come with a side of rice but an extra order is alway needed. Love it to have with the papaya salad and larb. All their dishes are great and very flavorful. Spice level varies on what you like but I tend to go with medium and add all the extra spices for myself with their sauce selection. We tend to alway be full even before being asked if we wanted dessert. The food is always amazing and the staff are always friendly and sweet. There's two restaurants that's a door apart and both are great but this one takes the cake for me. It's always a must when I'm in town as I know the food will alway be delicious. Highly recommended. Heads up, parking in the area is a bitch. It's all residential so people tend to stay in or else they're going to lose their spots. Just a heads up.

The fried rice was next level good. And the tom kha soup was excellent as well. I didn't love the drunken noodles themselves but the bbq pork on the dish was delicious. The fried pork belly was a little too tough to eat but the sauces it came with were both great. And the basil eggplant was solid. Would definitely come back to try some dishes in person like the Khao soi!

The only request from anybody was for Pad Thai, the most common dish at all Thai restaurants. I GPS my way over and order the food. I was Khao Soy on the menu and I don't see that at too many Thai places that I've been to, so I got an order of that with chicken. Of course, an order of Pad Thai, 2 orders since I have 5 hungry people to feed. Also, I ordered the Thai coconut soup, I think it's called Tom Kha with chicken. One more noodles dish was the Drunken Noodles, it's kinda like Chinese Chow Fun, but has a more spicy flavor and basil in it. The food was all pack and bagged for me to take back to the hotel. We used my room since I have a bigger room. We had plates and set ups for all five of us and we re-plated the food on the serving plates that came with the room. All the food was really tasty and everybody was happy not to have to leave the hotel. I heard compliments on the Pad Thai and the Coconut soup. It was a good idea just to do take out and eat at the hotel here.

Right away I recognized a worker (Grace) which was a delightful surprise. Grace welcomed us with a smile and her service was fantastic. Starting off with the chicken satay it was very different than what I had in past Thai food restaurants and I absolutely loved it. The texture, flavor and dipping sauce was so so delicious. We called ahead to check how busy it was and Nicky answered and she was super sweet and even set a table aside for us before we arrived. The food? Amazing.
