A great flavor on the Tom Yum soup. Citrus-y, umami, fresh mushrooms, and shrimp. Some of the best Pad Thai I have tasted and the beef and noodles in the Pad Kee Mao were cooked to perfection. I would say, some of the best Thai food available in Long Beach. The dining room is spacious and clean. There is a private lot with plenty of parking in the D&D Discount Store lot. They served my wife's soup way before our entrees so we couldn't eat together, so that sucked. But everything else was good. Note: They are closed on Weds and they also close between lunch and dinner service, so check the hours before coming.

Drove by this place for ages without realizing that it would be a great Thai bbq place. Easy and plenty of parking spaces. The place doesn't look like Thai restaurant, it's more of wooden oldies western style. Went here for dinner and got table right away. There was only one person working the whole place (front of the house that is). She was wonderful, friendly and nice person. She's fast too for 6 tables. She took the orders without writing it down (for us at least) and within 10-15mins, the foods start coming out. Big portion for the prices, great taste and great quality of the meats. Perfect seasoning since my kid literally ate them all and he's a picky eater. The place is clean, airy, funky but settle decoration (still got holiday decor up). Overall we enjoyed it a lot more than we thought with good foods & great services.

Great first time here. Everything tasted fresh and flavorful. The baked mussels and The Tiger Wings were really good, and the fried rice had huge shrimp. We finished with the tiramisu and it was delicious. The place was clean and the service was quick. Would definitely come back.

Came here based on the 4.5-star rating, but I should've read the reviews more carefully. Service was friendly and the food came out quickly, but that's where the positives end. The shrimp tempura was average. The strawberry lemonade was overly sweet and tasted artificial. The food quality was very disappointing. The crab fried rice was made with imitation crab, even though we were told it was fresh snow crab. All the fried rice dishes were overloaded with chunks of egg. The chicken pad Thai was not good at all--the chicken was tough, large, and clearly not fresh. We took a few bites of everything and couldn't continue eating. When I told the server we were unhappy, we were still charged the full $72 with no attempt to make it right! Would not return.

Alright yall if you've read my reviews before you know I'm very honest and I don't play with my food because my moto is FOOD IS LIFE!! I tried this place yesterday and it was amazing it was freshly cooked I ordered the seafood fried rice and it was delicious I contained lightly battered fish, shrimp, mussels, and I believe squid but don't quote me on it onion and tomato the sea food was cooked to perfection and didn't have a fishy smell , my partner ordered crab fired rice and the same with that the rice was cooked perfectly and the crab was found to be cooked to highly delicious standards as well we also ordered fried chicken egg rolls and those where to die for it was crispy without being soggy fully packed the staff was very polite as they stayed open even though they were about to close I didn't feel any anger or awkwardness as the guy offered to give suggestions on what to order as we had never been there before it's very peaceful and small so there's no over crowding during the day it gives a very welcoming vibe

Bad day to be a pad Thai! Delicious Thai restaurant located in a small plaza, they're scooping up all the Thai cravers on this hot July 4th whilst the other Thai spots are closed. Service is great would def recommend!

I came here today Monday around 11:30 am craving thai food. I saw their hours sign and understanding that they open at 12 I went to DDs to shop and come back.Coming back at 12:03 still surprised they weren't open yet. This really is a let down and misguiding towards customers. Please at least update your sign..

Love their Chicken Satay, Pad See Ew, and BBQ Combo number 1! Everything was wonderfully delightful! Service and ambience were amazing. Date night became available and after a rainy day I quickly looked for a good Soup spot, found this place and looked good not to far from the beach. So this place was perfect. Managed to get sunset and perfect dinner . Food. Wow did not disappoint! Waitress was so nice and freindly! Food was delicious!!! Soup was to the exact Flavor I was looking for. Orange chicken was crispy and sauced so perfectly! 10/10 coming back soon!

In spite of its lackluster food service performance on two separate occasions, I still rate this restaurant 5 stars. Mainly because the food comes through with both quality and taste. Today we had a food server who was just too cool for school and was annoying to the very end. Goodbye tip. Among other things he said they were out of limes when I asked for ice water with lime. Then when my pad Thai came with a lime, I knew it was time to talk to the owner. Andy, the owner, completely acknowledged and respected my complaint and said he would fix the problem with the young male food server. He also gave us an unrequested $10 gift certificate which showed me he was a serious owner who was serious about his business. I highly recommend this up and coming Thai restaurant. read more

I've been here several times and everything that I've ordered has been delicious. My go to dishes are the pad kee mao and any of the curries, but my favorite is the Panang curry. They also have a good a really good dinner special with lots of choices. The staff is so friendly and nice and the service is fast and efficient. I highly recommend Pad Thai Classic. read more

AMAZING!!!!! I got delivery last night. The orange chicken was soooooo good. Arrived nice and crispy. I am usually not a fan of orange chicken but this one hit it out the park. Nice tang. The pad see ew with beef was very good as well. You can never go wrong with pad thai. I looooved this pad thai. It had big green onions in it which was soooo good. Great and quick service, the place itself is very nice and gives off such a calming and peaceful vibe. I ordered the chicken chow mein , and truly enjoyed that as well as the egg rolls. The other dish that I ordered were the 6pc orange chicken wing combo with fried rice. I honestly didn't know what to expect since I hadn't tried orange Chicken flavored wings , but I can now say that these are among my favorite flavored wings . Papaya salad was disappointing to me. There was no kind of spice and tasted more like pickled papaya. Seemed like it's missing some stuff like greens? Yep - it was all that! Three solid dishes - green papaya salad, pad Thai tofu, and yellow curry. Affordable at $28+ for the three items.. Tasty, friendly, fast, reliable, organized, clean, good parking. Would have given 5 stars if the portion size was slightly up on the yellow curry... like 5 ladle fulls instead of three ladle full...will I be back- most def! Thanks for the yummy and solid meal. read more

I also tried the salmon curry, which was something new for me, and I ended up loving it. The flavors were rich, balanced, and unlike anything I've ordered before. Another unexpected favorite was the wings. I'm usually not a big wings person, but these were surprisingly good--crispy, flavorful, and definitely worth ordering. Overall, the food, drinks, and atmosphere exceeded my expectations. It's a spot I would absolutely come back to and one that I would definitely recommend to others.

The beef itself was a little chewy and in large pieces. I prefer the meat to be cut a little smaller and would like more lettuce and cucumber. I got a little taste of the spicy fried rice, which was really good. Some of us ordered Thai tea and didn't expect what we received, which was the tea with a Thai tea popsicle. What a treat! The Thai tea itself was pretty standard, but that popsicle was like the icing on a cake. The places, modern and clean. Staff is helpful and nice. Parking is their own lot but can be difficult to get a spot on a busy day or night.

All of these have never failed to bring out the "oohs," "ahhs," and "yums" from us! Other solid choices include pad thai, pineapple fried rice, boat noodles, thai crispy garlic chicken with orange sauce, and thai bbq chicken. Yes, we've eaten here a lot and have introduced it to a number of people! The service is very fast at Elephant Thai, and the menu has switched to digital since the pandemic. On the plus side, they have also not gotten rid of their healthcare worker discount (10%)! The parking lot is tiny, but there is local street parking available. The only request from anybody was for Pad Thai, the most common dish at all Thai restaurants. I GPS my way over and order the food. I was Khao Soy on the menu and I don't see that at too many Thai places that I've been to, so I got an order of that with chicken. Of course, an order of Pad Thai, 2 orders since I have 5 hungry people to feed. Also, I ordered the Thai coconut soup, I think it's called Tom Kha with chicken. One more noodles dish was the Drunken Noodles, it's kinda like Chinese Chow Fun, but has a more spicy flavor and basil in it. The food was all pack and bagged for me to take back to the hotel. We used my room since I have a bigger room. We had plates and set ups for all five of us and we re-plated the food on the serving plates that came with the room. All the food was really tasty and everybody was happy not to have to leave the hotel. I heard compliments on the Pad Thai and the Coconut soup. Off the bat, the portion sizes for the tom yum and pad thai were VERY generous (from my experiences with Thai restaurants). The pad thai stood out and was absolutely delicious! The service did great with helping us out and attending to our requests. The ambiance was relaxed, and where we sat in the back was cool because there was upbeat music playing loud enough to muffle the surrounding sounds but still soft enough to have conversation at our table without needing to raise our voice. Right away I recognized a worker (Grace) which was a delightful surprise. Grace welcomed us with a smile and her service was fantastic. Starting off with the chicken satay it was very different than what I had in past Thai food restaurants and I absolutely loved it. The texture, flavor and dipping sauce was so so delicious. We called ahead to check how busy it was and Nicky answered and she was super sweet and even set a table aside for us before we arrived. The food? Amazing. Ok, from the front "curb appeal" I was a bit pensive about this place. Looks are deceiving. Pad See Ew , chicken dumplings and garlic chicken wings were incredible. I don't know much about Thai food, but I think the flavor in this restaurant is almost like a universally cherished flavor if you know what I mean. I had a great experience at this spot! The dishes were flavorful and well-prepared. The combination pad see ew and the tom yum soup were delicious. What really made the visit even better was the excellent customer service! Our waitress was warm, attentive, and made sure everything was to our satisfaction. I'll definitely be coming back! I love their noodles and their food overall. I'd say one of the best Thai resturants in Long Beach. The restaurant is in a nice part of town, so its pretty good. One thing tho is that they are almost always packed whenever I am in there, maybe thats a good thing, but things can get crowded for us customers. Wow this food is soooo good. I'm always looking for new places to try and this place really impressed me. The peach iced tea is not too sweet and super refreshing.
