Beef short rib birria tacos !! So delicious and filling !!

This is such a great restaurant! The food and service both top notch!! The ambiance is fun . Sat at the bar and it made my day that there was an outlet and I was able to change my phone while eating. Also I can't praise the staff enough !! Such friendly , hard working people and excellent hospitality!!! Everything came out fast and delicious!!

Wow! Solid food here! We had a group of 6 here for brunch and we had a great meal here. I ordered a cheese enchilada and a taco and a kids meal with quesadilla. I must have mis-spoke because they gave my kiddo an enchilada vs a quesadilla but the waiter was nice enough to say it was his mistake (although my group said it was definitely me). The guacamole was really flavorful as well as the queso. Both were great starters! The atmosphere was fun and authentic and this place is hidden amongst the stockyards. All in all I'd definitely come back here!

The food was really good. We stuck to stuff we knew we would like but are going to branch out next trip. The server was friendly and efficient. It was a loud environment but mostly because of people talking and the music was good.

The atmosphere at Paloma Suerte is fantastic. The Mrs. and I sat on the patio on a perfect day and really enjoyed it. The salsa and bean dip was solid but the guacamole particularly hit the spot today. I had the cheddar cheese and charred onion enchiladas and they were very good. It comes with a cilantro salad on top that made the flavor really pop. My lovely bride had the crab stuffed jumbo shrimp which she really enjoyed. We had no drinks today, but next time I will try their house marg!

Location: Tucked behind Second Rodeo and Tannehills in Mule Alley over in the Stockyards. Service (5/5): The service was great for the first time trying this place out. Our server was on point with getting our food and drinks out as well as checking up on anything we may have needed. Food (5/5): I was surprised by the food. I usually stay away from Tex-Mex spots but the food left an impression on me. I'll have to go back try out a few other items. The Paloma pitcher was on points as well the rest of the drinks.

We visited Paloma de la Suerte yesterday with our family. The atmosphere was great and the service was excellent. The food was good, although some dishes seemed a little oily. Overall, we had a good experience.

This Tex-Mex restaurant was just OK, no wow factor here. Their queso was runny and lacked flavor, their brisket stuffed jalapeños was ok except the stuffing was more of a "brisket" sauce, not actual brisket pieces. Their beef quesadillas were actually very good, they used fajita beef pieces that had great fajita seasoning taste.

If you have a severe hangover and need greasy food, this is probably okay for that. Unfortunately we wasted one of our dinner opportunities here and that's a bummer. Not only was the food insanely greasy, the waitress was non attentive. I tried to ask a few questions about menu items and she was clueless. Don't waste your time here.

Stopped by on a rainy Saturday night, This was our third stop of the night. It wasn't too packed, so we grabbed seats at the bar. The bartender was super friendly and recommended some drinks. We tried the margaritas, and they were absolutely out of the park! We also had the beef and pork tacos, and they were legit...loaded with flavor, served with rice, beans, and all the proper toppings. They even started us off with chips and salsa. Definitely would go back!

    Chips.

When we walked in the place looked pretty worn. The chairs are ripped up and falling apart, floor unswept, food on the booth seat. There was a chip laying on a clean table ready for customers. We ordered drinks and queso appetizer. The drinks were ok, but nothing to write home about. We ordered a watermelon ranch water and a frozen margarita. The queso was actually really good, but the chips they served were wet- soaked with oil- and just crumbles left of chips. We asked if they had any other chips and the waiter said- no they all look like that. We paid and left without ordering entrees. I expected more from a Tim Love restaurant! 100% would never return or recommend.

Paloma Suerte was very disappointing. My bf and I love authentic Mexican food and this reminded me of something I could make at home or eat at a chain. I ordered a basic quesadilla that was overpriced and took quite some time to arrive. The entire experience was underwhelming and I wouldn't recommend.

Ten of us went here for lunch in a Sunday afternoon. I didn't learn our servers name, but she was great! The place is fairly large and airy and colorful. Chips and salsa were brought to the table and they brought multiple baskets and bowls out so people didn't have to reach far at all. The other end of the table ordered guacamole, but I didn't get any. Apparently it was very tasty. We all ordered drinks and I got the Suicide Schooner. It's a mixture of all their frozen margarita flavors and it was really good! I ordered the Beef Short Rib Birria Tacos and they were delicious! I couldn't begin to tell you what the other nine people ordered, but for the most part everyone was happy with their meals! A few people got enchiladas and said there was way too much cheese (is there such a thing?), but other than that, no notes! We haven't even begun to get into the whole Fort Worth food scene, so I don't know if we'll be back next time we're in town. But if someone chooses to go there again - I'm in!

Great food. The place was packed but we were served quickly with great service. My grandma got a bowl of Queso for lunch and loved it. Would definitely recommend.

And the music was fun, hip, danceable, celebratory Latino music. The wait staff, hostess and servers were all friendly and delivered excellent service. The drinks were awesome. I had a Carajillo and my wife and her friends got a bottle of champaign with three juices as a mimosa sampler (all for just $18!) I liked the chips, and they came with two different salsa - a roja and a very spicy verde. But they also brought some refritos beans to dip the chips into. How great is that? And it wasn't just their generosity that impressed me -- it was the flavor! We had a ceviche appetizer, and that was very good, but I'm spoiled on great ceviche and I wouldn't say it was as impressive as everything else we tried. Still, it was fresh and refreshing. I broke down and got the quesabirria tacos. That's a big cheat for my diet (one I'm now working off) but wow was it good - especially the consume to dip your taco in. So flavorful! So... five stars. We had a great time there and would happily return here again. Oh... and the same people own the restaurant across the street so we want to check that out, too. It's Mediterranean / Lebanese and I love that type of cuisine, too. Also... I LOVE the name of this restaurant. "La Cabrona" roughly translates to "the bad-ass, " and it's in the feminine form, so... referring to the female owner (it's owned by a couple with the wife focused on this restaurant and the hubby focused on the restaurant across the street). The term "cabrona" is sometimes not considered polite language as it sometimes has a bit of a "b*itch connotation to it. But it's a totally bad-ass moniker to place on yourself and I love that. It's all just words unless you can back it up. But from our experience here, she totally backs it up! What a fun place :-D

Right from the get go I'm going to appeal to all my fellow Yelpers and my Fort Worth Yelp Elite squad to please give Los Girasoles a chance and soon if you can, this is a completely family run restaurant and they are struggling to keep going. I stopped in for lunch on around Noon and there was only one other table with customers which is hard to understand considering they offer several good lunch special deals! I was greeted immediately and they brought out a big bowl of fresh chips and two salsa's a Rojo and a delicious Verde, I was off that day and decided to have a couple house margaritas on the rocks and they were fresh and delicious! I ordered the Flautas Barachas, 4 freshly fried chicken flautas in a delicious tomatillo sauce, they were clearly made and fried fresh to order and that tomatillo sauce was great. The sides of beans and rice seriously deserve their own props because with no exaggeration i can say these were the best I've had in town, the seasoning was so on point especially those beans! Right across the street or two other Mexican restaurants El Paseo and Mezcales and while Mezcales it's pretty good Los girasoles absolutely blows El Paseo out of the water and is better than mezcales as well. Do this family and yourself for a huge favor and don't miss out on this delicious authentic Mexican food at very reasonable prices!

I arrived during the lunch rush, and both the parking lot and the restaurant were packed. Even though they were extremely busy, we were immediately greeted by a courteous and polite young man who quickly escorted us to a booth. We were seated in Ms. Maria's section, and she was a wonderful server. She greeted us with a warm smile, brought us menus along with the lunch menu, chips and salsa, and promptly served our water. She gave us plenty of time to look over the menu and was friendly, attentive, and very courteous throughout our meal. The chips and salsa were very good. My only suggestion would be to offer a salsa without cilantro for those who prefer it. We ordered the Create Your Own Combo Plate, which included a chicken flauta, a crispy taco, rice, and refried beans topped with cheese for $15.50. The taco was perfectly crispy and well seasoned, while the chicken flauta was covered in a flavorful red chile sauce that had just the right amount of heat. The rice and refried beans were seasoned perfectly and complemented the meal well. We also ordered the chimichanga, smothered in cheese sauce and served with rice and refried beans, for $16.00. It was well seasoned, delicious, and satisfying. The flavors weren't overpowering--they were balanced and enjoyable, making it a dish I would gladly order again. This was my first visit to Mi Dia From Scratch, and I came away very impressed. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was lively, and the restaurant also offers a nice outdoor seating area. Between the excellent service and flavorful food, I will definitely be back. I hope you'll give it a try too!
