This place is great! We sat at the bar before a concert. The service was excellent. I enjoyed a Paloma, which is a favorite of mine. It was excellent. We shared some queso and birata beef tacos. So good! My only complaint is I wish I would have got my own order of dinner. We will definitely be back. read more

Went here for a Saturday brunch with two friends and we loved it. It has some pricier options but I don't think it was too bad. Service was amazing and our server was very quick and friendly. Margarita pitchers - worth the price! They are very good and you get about 6ish drinks out of each one. The salsa/guacamole was pretty standard, I preferred the guacamole because it was chunky, not super smooth, and had flavor to it. The brisket stuffed jalapeños wrapped in bacon were 10/10! In the Fort Worth stockyards. Great out atmosphere great outdoor patio huge restaurant like most restaurants today service is pretty slow. Fun spot in the Stock Yards for drinks and Tex-Mex with friends. Be careful ordering the cheese and onion enchiladas because it has red meat, which isn't listed on the menu. It was delicious!! But unexpected and would be unfortunate if you are a vegetarian. If they added light and reduced noise it would be five stars. read more

The queso with avocado and king crab was AMAZING! We ordered beef fajitas for one, which was plenty to share after having an appetizer, and chips and salsa. They were perfectly flavored! Food was fine, service was sufficient, but the wait time was awful. Got there and put my number down was told there's be an hr 15 wait. Went next door to the saloon to wait and after a couple of drinks and about an hr later I realized I didn't get a text saying our table was ready. Walk over and am asking what's the deal and am told you didn't come when we text, I never got a text, it'll be an hr wait as if I'm about to wait again. Immediately I'm upset and visibly so, so before I could say more someone comes up right away and says I can seat you. That kinda rubbed me wrong. Eat, grab couple of frozen drinks, and head out back to see the view which was nice. The food wasn't memorable, the place was packed to an uncomfortable level because you couldn't even hear the person sitting next to you. It'll likely be a one and done, as it stands, nothing would entice me to return. read more

We've been to this awesome Tim Love restaurant twice and love it! Love their queso, chips and salsa, and their margaritas are outstanding. We've had the prime beef and cheddar enchiladas and the carne asada skewers, both were delicious. The restaurant is in an old livestock building of some sort and finished out very nice, definitely not your standard Mexican place. We look forward to our next trip! read more

Love Paloma! It's my go to spot for Mexican when in the stockyards or for a good girls night out! I've been for brunch & dinner. Food is always tasty, hot, fresh, and good portions. The service is always excellent. We usually do reservations, but the times I have gone without there was little to no wait time. read more

My daughters and I were there this weekend. I can't say enough good things. Nice atmosphere, extremely friendly staff and manager. Made my birthday special. Unfortunately when we got there the chef love prime steak had sold out but the chef came out and was so gracious in offering an alternative. It came out absolutely great! They brought us some of the birria tacos while we waiting for our feast (free of charge). The vibes were amazing and the food tasted great! My friends and I went here for dinner on a Saturday night a few weeks ago. We had to wait a while for some seats at the bar to open up, as they were very busy and had over an hour wait for a table. But once seated, our service from the bartender was pretty quick, despite the dinner rush. We got fajitas, chips and queso, a margarita pitcher and one round of middle shelf tequila shots (3). Complimentary chips and salsa were fresh and very good. The rest of the food was delicious however it was pretty expensive, and the price did not reflect in the quality of the ingredients. The mix used for the margarita pitcher was too sweet and not our favorite. It was also very loud in there, so keep that in mind if you're not a fan of loud, crowded places. Other than that we had a good experience. I just don't think it was worth the money, as we paid nearly $250 for 3 people. read more

Food was excellent! Price was a little high but not horrible, wait staff was excellent! Great atmosphere! Overall experience was great! The only thing my party did not care for was when we get the bill they WILL NOT split the checks the way you want. They will split however evenly among each person, which if it was 4 adults that all had a couple of alcoholic beverages and each had 1 entree. No big deal but a party of 8 with 1 couple that shares an entree with non alcoholic drinks 2 that has an app, 2 entrees and several alcoholic drinks and couple with 2 kids so couple of apps, 2 alcoholic drinks and 4 entrees and 4 sodas .... Not a fair split makes it super weird at check time. So my mother ended up picking up a 400.00 tab to keep it from being an issue. Come on it's not that hard to split a tab. Other than that everything else was excellent. read more

Guess we'll never know Over the course my time at the bar bartender a walked past me 5x bartender b 1x manager in maroon shirt 1x and chef Tim love himself 1x. It's possible someone sitting at the bar with nothing in front of them isn't an issue to this place but it really didn't seem busy enough to not even expect a "hey I'll be with you soon" but I couldn't even get that much. read more

Worth the experience! Way better than Joe T. Garcia's! Everything was flavorful and delicious! I loved that the queso came with a warmer! Great idea and a nice aesthetic. View outdoors is very pretty...only reason we ate there. Ordered the brisket queso...it was missing the brisket. Service was slowwwww and subpar. Drinks had no ice. Food was decent but definitely not as good as other Mexican food (like Pappasito's) for same amount of money. She told me the jalepeno would have lots of brisket but they didn't. Guess you are paying for atmosphere of being in Stockyards which was pretty busy area on a Sunday evening. read more

If you have more than 8 people then avoid this place! I tried to make a reservation for my family (total of 12) for my daughter's 18th birthday and was told to call another person who tried to sell me a private party package with a set menu and $900 minimum order. This would've been a minimum order of $75-100 a person which is ridiculous because there were 5 young kids in our party. The total for one person is not near $75 when dining there. All I wanted was a reservation for a 12 top table, not a private dining event. I've dined here before with friends and the food is decent with a fun atmosphere so this was disappointing as I will not be returning. What kind of restaurant doesn't allow parties of 9 or more dine there unless purchasing private dining?? read more

Went to Paloma Suerte for a day date. Went sight seeing and saw Paloma Suerte. Pretty cool restaurant, cool decor. bartender was quick with our drinks. Waiter was very attentive. We sat outside enjoyed the Texas weather, looking over at the river that runs through the stockyard. Food was delicious as well as the tasty drinks. Will definitely be back again. We were attending a show right next door in the Stockyards, so we came in to eat beforehand. We sat on the patio which had a cute little setup. Our server was very friendly and helped answer any questions we had. We started with the queso which was delicious and full of flavor and toppings. We each ordered the birria tacos and they were the absolute best birria tacos we have had. So crispy and the meat was so tender and juicy inside. There was so much flavor in the consommé as well. The carne asada skewers are to die for. The meat was seasoned well and was so tender. You have to try them! Yummy!! I had a few of the margaritas as well. The frozen mango margarita was delicious and the tajin rim was perfect with the flavor. You can get them to go in little "adult capri sun" packages as well. Highly recommend this place. The worst dinner I've had a large dinner party for my brother birthday dinner. As we arrived everything was great but then it went downhill from there..... the chips on the table where cold. We were a party of 10 and literally got one taco per person. They didn't even bring out rice and beans with our fajitas. We had to share three plates of fajitas for ten people how is this enough food. Then the server spilled fajitas juice on my shirt which burned my skin and stain my shirt. We didn't even stay for the desert. We literally didn't expect this type of experience from this place. My sis in law set this whole dinner with a event coordinator Stephanie and she set the expectations high of this dinner. This was very disappointing dinner to say the least. "La Cabrona" roughly translates to "the bad-ass, " and it's in the feminine form, so... referring to the female owner (it's owned by a couple with the wife focused on this restaurant and the hubby focused on the restaurant across the street). The term "cabrona" is sometimes not considered polite language as it sometimes has a bit of a "b*itch connotation to it. But it's a totally bad-ass moniker to place on yourself and I love that. It's a large space filled with plants and fountains and cool lighting and it really just sets a mood. It's like something on the San Antonio Riverwalk but bigger. I was really impressed. We had so much fun that I forgot to take any pictures. Well, that's not true. I took a lot of picks but only of my wife and friends in various locations there. It's a very photogenic setting, especially at night. I could see doing large events here like wedding dinners and so forth. The swank, Art Deco atmosphere matches the hotel perfectly, but the food is the real star. For lunch, the Wicked Burger was phenomenal. Built with cheddar, caramelized onions, mushrooms, and a rich sauce on a toasted sesame brioche bun, it hits every savory note perfectly. The rest of the table was equally thrilled with their choices, including the French Dip (loaded with caramelized onions, provolone, and horseradish-garlic aioli on a baguette with a stellar au jus) and the crisp Steak Cobb salad. The truffle fries were a massive hit and a frequent topic of conversation around the table, and even the fountain Diet Coke was perfectly calibrated. I'd be completely remiss if I didn't mention the monster rolls brought out for the table--they are giant, incredibly airy, golden popovers served with a spectacular rosemary honey butter that steals the show before the main course even arrives. For breakfast, I wanted to stay on the healthier side and ordered the Sinclair Breakfast with chicken sausage. The sausage delivered incredible flavor with a perfect, distinct peppery bite. The plate was beautifully balanced with delicate microgreens, and the breakfast potatoes were a total standout--perfectly executed with a great outer char and deep flavor. Paired with excellent, robust Lavazza drip coffee, it was a flawless start to the morning. Across both visits, the staff was incredibly friendly, helpful, and highly attentive with beverage refills. Top-tier service, great quality, and an absolute must-visit in Fort Worth.

A quick note on seating: the patio is lovely in theory, with the optional open windows and a breezy feel, but the chairs are not winning any comfort awards. Inside booths are the move. Also worth noting, this is Fort Worth, and once the thermometer hits triple digits, the patio conversation ends itself if the windows are open. Plan accordingly. Malai starts every table with steamed sticky rice and an eggplant dip, which is a charming little ritual and a genuinely good one. We also kicked things off with the Edamame, a heads up on the heat level there, and the Fried Imperial Rolls, filled with ground pork and shrimp and served with a sesame soy sauce. Fair warning: these do not photograph well and arrive at the table looking a little shy. Don't be fooled. They're flavorful, subtly spicy, and well worth ordering. For entrees, we tried the Basil Vegetable Fried Rice two ways, one vegan and one with chicken. The vegan version was a genuine surprise, with vegetables cooked just right and a flavor that didn't need the chicken to make its case. The mushrooms, however, had the texture of something you'd find in a hardware store. Chew at your own risk. The Green Curry, meanwhile, was a case of too much of a good thing. The curry was so heavy-handed it drowned everything underneath it. Sometimes restraint is a virtue. Save room for the Banana Pot de Crème. It's creamy, subtly sweet, and a graceful finish to the meal. The service at Malai is enthusiastic, and I do mean enthusiastic. The staff works as a team, all smiles, attentive, always nearby. Occasionally a little too nearby. More than once a plate nearly disappeared before we were done with it. It's a small complaint, and honestly a far better problem than the alternative. They're warm, cheerful, and clearly enjoy what they do, which goes a long way. Portions are generous, so order a few dishes and share the wealth. For a lunch stop between shops, Malai Kitchen punches well above its weight.

When building your own burger, it's difficult to know all of the available topping choices. The only downside to our visit was that there was a very large dog dining inside the restaurant. The staff allowed the dog's water bowl to be placed on the table, and while the dog remained on a leash, several employees stopped to pet it before returning to refill drinks, deliver food, or check on guests. That wasn't something I was comfortable with and took away from an otherwise enjoyable dining experience.

For entrees we ordered General Tso's chicken and Mongolian beef but the Mongolian beef came out tasting unusually sweet so we informed the waitress and she replaced it with a different entree the longhorn beef and peppers which was really good, a few minutes later the manager came to the table and asked about the Mongolian beef and let us know that she had them remake it, she brought it back out to the table and this time it was done perfectly with a good amount of spice and no sweetness we were also able to keep all three entrees which was cool and she took the Mongolian beef off of our check which we very much appreciated. Overall Teddy Wong's is highly recommended by this yelper and I must try for anyone that loves great food and service! We'll definitely be back!

I ordered the veggie dumplings (steamed) and veggie Szechuan fried rice. The dumplings were out of this world - best I've had. It's hard to find good vegan dumplings, so I'm so excited to have discovered these! Definitely not your average veg dumpling, these are packed with flavor! The rice was also pretty solid, a bit oily for my liking but flavorful nonetheless.
