I order from this Panda Express OFTEN. Never asked for a confirmation most times I don't even bring in my phone. Today was a complete hassle for me I watched them not ask for a confirmation on a large order but then turned around and asked me for mine because of what how I looked? Fast service with lots of items to choose from, made fresh from the wok. Our order took a little longer because the pepper chicken dish was almost depleted. Fast food Chinese is good every once in a while and this place is good. Our meals were hot and fresh. The pepper chicken was good along with the kung pao chicken. The broccoli beef was nice and tender along with crisp, crunchy broccoli. All in all, good service and good food. Covid precautions still in effect. read more

First time at this location. Just finished my rotation at the hospital downtown and after a long day I was craving Panda so I googled the closest Panda Express and this location showed up about 1.3miles away from the hospital. I was a bit hesitant because of the location being on the sketchy side of town and it being so dark so early. But I gave it a shot. Got here close to 1930 and I was kinda disappointed to not see a drive thru. So I parked, there was a few diners and I was greeted by the staff as I entered which was amazing. There was someone being help before me but it didn't take long til someone helped me. I ordered my usual half chow mein and fried rice with brocolli beef and orange chicken to go. They were also doing a fundraiser for Valley Childrens which was amazing of them so I donated. The total came to about $9. As I was leaving I was also greet out. Which was also wonderful. I love how friendly and attentive this staff in this location is. There was a homeless man inside which was probably being disruptive which they called security on and security was there but he left before she came. Got home about 10 mins later my food was still warm and the portion was huge. No complaints here the food was good and the service was excellent. I mean it can be but My service was outstanding and the staff were nice. The problem arose when I called my doctor at the VA hospital in Fresno. He advised me to notify panda of my unfortunate expirience. I understand that some people get sick just random. So i never considered a refund. However, my Doctor told me to notify them. I tried calling the number and even pressing option 2 for a team member. But no answer, I dont think they answer phones even though theres an option. Customer service is going down in all companies with apps n stuff. So I was unable to warn them. I have uploaded my receipt. I dont make this shit up. Try it lets see what happens. This Panda Express is very clean and the employees are very friendly. We decided to stop off here for a quick bite to eat enroute back to LA from Napa. There were two ladies working behind the counter and both were super helpful and friendly. We got there at 1:00 and more than half of the selections in the food display counter was either almost all gone or more than 1/2 empty. Not much of a selection. I ended up getting the two choice selection to share: Noodles + Orange Chicken + Honey Walnut Shrimp. The noodles were your typical stir fried noodles with cabbage and onions. The orange chicken was tasty, with nice chunks of white chicken meat. The honey walnut shrimp was probably the highlight of the order. Deep fried breaded shrimp with a sweet mayo glaze. I have to say that I was *SCARED* to eat at this restaurant. From the time that we exited the hwy to the time we got to the restaurant (about a block), we counted at least 15-20 drugged out people who were wandering the streets asking for handouts or passed out on the side of the street. While in the restaurant, the employees had to chase out two drugged out people. It was nice that they had the situation under control, but I did not feel safe eating here. Panda Express is one of the last few fast food places I'll eat. I like the fresh veggies which are rarely over cooked. All of their sauces are good. Generally, I think the prices are fair for what you're getting. I'm always full, even the bowls are good size. Good selection of drink options and you serve yourself so you can put your own ice (love that), but prices are high, in my opinion (something like $1.79 for small, $1.89 for med and $1.99 for large). This particular location has friendly workers, but does get busy. I assume this is the reason the dining area can get messy. I usually get take out and they always remember to put my condiments, etc in the bag. I've never used the restroom so don't know how clean it is kept. read more

It was 1:30, so not the height of the lunch rush, but I still had to wait 15 minutes for my entrée because they were out of sweet fire, out of mushroom chicken, out of broccoli beef, out of Kung Pao, out of teriyaki chicken, out of Rangoon, and out of crispy shrimp. I can completely understand being out of individual entrées at various points in the day but to be so far behind as to have half of their menu items empty and customers waiting is quite excessive add shows poor management and planning. read more

The cleanest panda I've been, and they employ the friendliest staff (especially around this part of Fresno) Surprisingly I always catch them on a good note! Always a fresh batch of chowmein and OC when I come! Yay yay winning. Chowmein: delish! And the noodles aren't broken or in clumps!! They are actually intact and log noodles. I don't know about you but I like my noodles long. Orange chicken: saucy, fresh, not an over powering smell of vinegar or tasting stale. I've tried other items on the menu i.e.: beef broccoli, broccoli is still too raw for my braces (crunchy), walnut shrimp not enough per scoop for the price, teriyaki chicken (not a fan I've had too much teriyaki anything and everything), Mongolian beef too thinly sliced it doesn't taste exquisite, pacific shrimp is bomb, chicken egg rolls! This Panda Express is good. Especially where they are and what they have to deal with. Let me put this up first. This is a hard place to work. With the different kinds of people that come in and how busy they are, they are doing their best. Yes, some food wouldn't be ready in time. Yes, their waiting to do sometimes. But still, with all they have to deal with, you will get your food hot and ready. I feel that these workers get a bad wrap, but I mean, its not like they are lazy or not doing anything, but if you look and see, they are really doing all they can to see to you to get your meal. this is a Panda Express, not a random pop up. This panda express location will more than likely steal your change. This happened to me twice this week at this location. I visited this location Tuesday. When I received my change I was short one quarter. When I visited this location June 4, 2023. I paid for my order and waited to receive my change of 51 cent. I was told the location is out of change. I was not told this before I placed my order. I was not told this when I handed the cashier my twenty dollar bill. She told me after the sale and just walked off. The West Shaw location is will steal your change also. If you steal up to 99 cents on a hundred people you just made $100 for the day stealing change. If you steal $100 dollars a day in change multiplied by 7 you stole $700 for the week. Multiply this $700 times 4 and you stole $2800 for the month. Take $2800 per month times 12 and you stole $33,000 for the year. Stealing change is a better business than selling you product. Stealing your change is a Federal Communication violation. Remember before you place your order at this location, ask the cashier will their be a problem receiving my change? read more

My past experience with Panda Express was always in a shopping mall or airport. Not impressed. This one, however, turned out to be very different. They offer more variety and better quality. I ordered a "plate," which contains 1 main course (plain rice, fried rice, or fried noodles) and 2 sides (chicken, beef, pork, shrimps, vegetables, etc.). It was more food than I could eat. Both dishes (chicken and mushroom, beef and broccoli) were pretty tasty. The staff was polite and efficient. There was a line but it moved fast enough. My only complaint is that they do not serve any sugar-free drinks. Since they have a soda fountain, they may as well include at least Diet Coke or something as an option. read more

I like the fact that they carry tofu at this location not all Panda Express carry tofu. Although it's only one choice of tofu which is Kung Pao Tofu it's delicious. We bought two Bowles of broccoli beef over steam rice and we each got a bowl full of rice and 2 pieces of beef each and 6 broccoli in one bowl and 3 pieces of broccoli in the other bowl.
