Never been to a panda that made you wait for chow mein. Ridiculous waste of my lunch time.

The service is Disgusting. The workers are so rude. The food is not good what so ever.

The Panda Express I go to is inside pavilion supermarket at Jefferson. Overall food is tasty and not too much MSG. One thing they need to improve on is their fried rice. Rice seems to be undercooked and the peas in the rice are too hard as if they were added too late into the fried rice. Need more counter help as well. read more

Second time I come in to this place. Honestly, customer service and friendliness is there. However, mushroom chicken was so cold, mushrooms tasted old, veggies where also definitely cold. Also the same mushroom chicken tasted so so bland. Did you guys run out of soy sauce or something? Noodles where also looking dry today. You can have the friendliest people up front, excellent customer service, but if your product isn't hot, fresh and ready, especially for lunch time, then you can't have my business. My boss said the same thing about the noodles BEFORE ordering. Oh and no strong bean chicken today :( come on now panda. I came to this location because it has 4 stars. I think 3 at best. Order my food through grub hub asked for my condiments to be sent there was none and now I'm supposed to eat this dry ass rice. They stated that the comment section is cut off so why is it a feature why is it an option to put what you want how do I tell you that I want soy sauce and hot sauce if I can't write it in the comment section. This is a clean, friendly Panda Express. The food is very "Panda Express," but much fresher and tasty than any other of this chain that I have encountered. The staff is helpful and efficient and there are nice booths and benches. I tried this place out on a whim and am glad that I did. Frankly, it is better than any of the Chinese restaurants in this area--and has an A rating from the health department. read more

Absolutely the worst service I've ever seen it at Panda Express this is a flagship location one of the most beautiful decorated restaurants I've seen, yet the service was horrible only three employees in the entire restaurant we waited for 12 minutes to order and I finally gave up and went to the California Chicken Cafe next door, very sad I hope they eventually get it together because we like Panda Express but the service was awful even the display food trays were empty it was really pathetic they shouldn't have opened until they were fully staffed and ready to handle business, I hope Panda Express eventually gets it together because we live in the are, currently this location is not ready for business read more

Rating one star for the nice location. Has a tea bar which is really nice. But the employees are definitely not fit for such a nice location. Employees with great customer service skills should be put at this location. The current employees at this location belong to a panda in a low class area. Please coach your employees. Employees here are rude and clearly don't want to work here. It's nobodies fault y'all work there if y'all don't like it work somewhere else. I'm always nice to employees because I do get that's sometimes customers go overboard but even with simply ordering food the employees here always have attitude. It's been like the third time already and yet I still have given it multiple attempts maybe it could have been maybe just a bad day the previous times. But three times out of the four times I have gone there. Somebody needs to train their employees to have better customer service. read more

This is a beautiful new location and it seems that everyone who reviewed was very happy. I live within walking distance from this panda express so ive been beyond excited and waiting for this location to open. Finally went tonight and must say that the location is very nice but i was dissapointed that they lacked the feature entrees that me and my husband get at all other locations. I know this isnt their fault as they have an assigned menu. But When we got home with our 2 entree plates we were both very dissapointed. The food lacked flavor. The chow main and fried rice was very bland and we had 4 entrees between the 2 of us and were very dissapointed in the lack of flavor of 3 out of 4 of them (and we frequesnt panda express locations frequently). Maybe i will try again in a couple months when they are longer established but for now i will have to travel to further locations. read more

This is probably one of the worst Panda Express restaurants I've ever been to. The food was decent but the customer service was terrible. Jasmine and the other cashier had attitudes and served me 3 shrimp when I asked for honey walnut shrimp despite being the only one in the restaurant there to eat. Ordered through GrubHub earlier today. Ordered 4 plates when our food arrived it was cold and stale. The orange chicken was not edible at all, went for my first bite and hurt my tooth in the process. All four plates contained orange chicken and all tasted the same. Called this specific location spoke to the manager Marissa. She was stand offish and condescending over the phone. She kept talking over me as I was trying to explain what happened and my experience. She didn't propose a solution which is when I proposed to pick up a new order of food since I was not satisfied with the quality of the food. When I arrived to pick up the new orange chicken Marissa neither introduced herself nor apologized for the bad experience and quality of food. When I got back to work for on my lunch tasted the new orange chicken... same quality. Chicken was super hard it tasted stale just like the first batch. Flavor was there but the chicken was impossible to chew. Not sure whether or not they are over cooking the food but it was very dissatisfying. I was expecting quality customer service and was disappointed not only with the food but the staff as well. read more

Panda Express is a lunch time staple with my family and co-workers. Panda Express in Los Angeles tastes better than Panda Express in other states or cities east of Los Angeles. HOWEVER, this Panda Express does not measure up. Portions are smaller, understandable with the expensive real estate, but the food is just not as good. I really take exception to their chow mein, amazingly dry and bland. After I ate at this location, I just don't want Panda Express anymore.... that will wear off and I'll go back to my mainstay on Venice and Overland, the best location. However, it was so bad at this location I would not recommend it at all, go to another location. read more

I was originally going to give his a lower rating because the portion they gave me wasn't a lot, a bit skimpy for the price I was going to pay. But as my plate went to the cashier, she took my plate back and put more food in the plate. I didn't even ask or complain at all. She must've read my mind. I thanked her for that. Like most people in Los Angeles the thought of going to Panda Express is out of the question with so many great Chinese restaurants around. This one is different, it has the usual Panda Express menu but they prepare it very well here and it is always fresher and not as heavy as the crap they serve at most of them. The place is nice and bright, super clean and the help is very nice. Last night it was raining cats and dogs and the manager was in the parking lot with an umbrella to make sure people stayed dry. I had a decent meal and a nice experience.....go figure. read more

I read about this new Panda Express place online with a tea bar and different ambience. I brought my family there during the Labor Day weekend. We loved the open layout and modern ambience. The tea bar is a great addition and the drinks taste great. The food and service is great and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back again ! read more

i really like panda express. it dont consider it chinese food.. but more american chinese food. this panda was terrible. sure the place is new and sparkling clean.. but the food does not taste like other pandas and they are VERY stingy with their portions. i cant get over how little was in the a la carte container. never again will i be going here... the one at the westside pavillion is MUCH better and the parking is easier too. if you're going to eat in the area, just go to CCC... but if you must have panda, make the 1 mile trip to the westside pavillion. read more

I'm very disappointed. I've been ordering Oolong Panda Milk Tea from the TEA BAR for a year and it has always been great. However, today I was told the oolong has been discontinued and I got the black tea instead. Not only did the tea come out milky and flavorless, but the creamer was not mixed in and so my drink was CHUNKY with bits of congealed powder. I paid almost $5 for this undrinkable mess.
