Horribly slow inefficient service and bad food quality. Ordered grilled cheese and ham got a cold ham and cheese sandwich. Ordered steak and egg sandwich, got 1/2 oz. of old overcooked thin sliced meat with cold cheese. By the time they remade the sandwiches twice we still had not received our toasted bagels... 27 minutes later. This after it took 15 minutes to order since they are trying to push their kiosks after people already ordered causing customers to cancel their whole order and restarting on the kiosk! The service is very poor. Long lines and if you try to use the express check out it never has any transponders. You wind up waiting for a cashier to get one and they are to busy taking care of the long lines at the registers. The food is not as good as it was when they first opened. The other night I ordered food to go for my family. They were out if French bread so I was forced to buy a bread bowl or go without. Part of my order was 3 of their quinoa and lentil bowls. I ordered vegan but they were far from vegan. I called the next day as it was late and they didn't answer their phones. The manager offered to give me a replacement but only if I had my receipt, which I had thrown away. As for me and my family...we will not be giving this company any more business. read more

Today I came in for a bagel and the cream cheese that came with it was so small it didn't even cover the bagel with the thinnest layer possible! Received absolutely DREADFUL service today!! As my party and I arrived we noted how extremely cold it was. We ordered and then sat we watched as 2 different tables asked the server to please adjust the AC because they were very cold. Then one of the little kids in our party started crying that she was too cold. I asked the server if they could please adjust the AC because it was too cold and her reply was "I know we get that comment a lot but we can't do anything about it." I said "why not?" she said "I'm not sure they just won't adjust it." I then asked to speak to the manager and she kindly replied, "She won't do anything about it, do you still want me to call her?" I said "yes, please." After a few minutes the server returned and said " I told the manager and she told me to tell you that we don't adjust the AC." I said please ask her to come so that I may speak with her. After sitting there for an hour the manager never appeared. I honestly felt bad for the server, she looked so uncomfortable and I don't blame her. But, I can't in good conscience spend my hard earned money at an establishment where the management doesn't have the decency to at least great their guest and try to accomodate them in the slightest. She could have easily lowered the thermostat by one degree and we would have felt appreciated. But I guess she's not getting paid to make her customers happy. I come here all the time. I've never been this early. I placed a to go dash order at 10:14 this morning. I come at 10:22. I wait for 5 minutes with no acknowledgement. And then proceeded to ask a worker named Brianna (short with light brown hair) if my order was ready. She says yes and hands me my order. The strawberry banana smoothie was watery. I asked if it was possible to get a remake, and she looks up at me and goes "well it's just going to be the same thing. It gets like that after a while if you don't pick it up right when we make it". I always order a green passion, and it's not watery until after at least 30 minutes. As I tell her this, she huffs and repeats the same thing. Then tells me she can do more ice. I fell her I do not want a watered down smoothie, is it too much to ask to get a remake. The same thing over again with more attitude and then goes it's because the green passion has a different recipe and she argued with me argues with me about the whole situation and then she runs off to her supervisor or manager and start complaining and talking mess about me in the back with her and then she comes back out and keeps arguing with me, saying that if she remakes the smoothie, the consistency will be the same unless she puts more ice in it. I asked to speak to her manager, the manager's name is Desiree. Desiree did not want to come out , and she sounded so irritated in the back when Brianna was talking to her. Desiree never came out or seemed as if she had intention to. It felt more like she was trying to get Brianna to get me to go away. Brianna came back out and said well she's kind of busy right now so I don't know if you have time to wait but she'll be with you with attitude. I repeatedly say I've worked at smoothie shops and a changed recipe doesn't equal a water smoothie. I spent about 10 minutes arguing on and off with Brianna. She then turned to the gentlemen who appeared next to me and was so sweet with him. This kind of customer service is unacceptable. Very rude and poor service from Brianna and her Manager Desiree. This store needs to get it together. I am so livid with their whole delivery experience. So three times already they've screwed me over on my deliver. I go and order my food and when I check to see if it's been delivered it says order complete when in reality NOTHING has been delivered. And forget trying to get through to even speak to a manager because it literally drops the call as soon as it goes through. The first time they swore tHey delivered it to me and I reassured them they did not, they told me to contact Postmates!! Like what?? On their website it doesn't show postmates delivering they show a Panera employee. And I didn't order on Postmates website I ordered through Panera's. So thankfully they delivered it to me personally. THEN it happens a second time and they tell me they have someone on camera eating my food. Wtf? How does that even happen? Now this last time they told me I have to contact Postmates. I DID NOT ORDER THROUGH POSTMATES! I ORDERED THROUGH PANERA DELIVERY SERVICE. The manager told me to wait 15 more minutes while she makes our order. The management and employees here need WAY better communication and they need to remember the customers are always right. This location is hit or miss. First visit, the tables were dirty and it was packed. The food isn't as good as the rancho location. 2nd visit and they forgot my roll with my soup and they gave my child a yogurt with her meal, they didn't ask what she wanted since there are other options and she didn't want a yogurt. I went to the register and they exchanged no prob, I got my roll no prob. Its not a big deal. The food isn't as tasty as the Rancho store but this store is closer to our home so I will keep coming here. read more

Do not come to this location the workers are rude, unprofessional, and very unorganized. They will never get my business again and I usually spend over $50 on two full meals for two people. Traffic is so bad that if i were to back there to deal with idiots, that would just make me an idiot. I went there late this evening with a friend to hang out and catch up. I convinced my friend to try the signature hot chocolate with me, but they were out of the mugs. Apparently there was an accident and all the mugs were broken in a fall. Jacqueline was the sweetest! She bought out our drinks in a coffee mug and put the rest in a to-go cup with all the fixings. She said she didn't want us to miss out on the whole signature hot chocolate experience at Panera. That was a really nice touch! Kudos to Jacqueline. I have been coming to this location for 8 years and it has gone way down hill. This is the most disorganized location I have been to. This place is a complete joke! I came on February 1st. I ordered 2 soups a chocolate chip cookie and a salad for my mom and I. We sit down and a couple minutes later, this rude snarky girl walks by and says "bread bowl?" With a annoyed facial expression and attitude while she said it. I said yes and she slams the bowls down. I look at my mom giving her the "did she really just do this???" look. And I let her know that the cookie was meant to be a to-go order. And I asked if she could please get me a go-go bag for it. My mom noticed that her spoon was dirty and looked like it had been used and asked her for another spoon. Without responding, she grabbed the spoon and left. She returns with a new spoon but no bag for the cookie. I brushed it off.... That was until I noticed that both of our soups were COLD!! And I mean cold! Not warm, not lukewarm, not just a little cold, they were cold!!!!!!! We ask her for new soups and she says "well umm you could microwave them" and I tell her no that I want new soups. She insists that I microwave them. And I tell her no again. She takes the soups and brings them back with the bowl covered of soup (on the outside of the bowl) and slaps them down on the table. At this point, I couldn't even enjoy my meal because of how mad that I was. I finished eating and asked to speak to a manager. I waited and out comes a light skinned heavy set women in a pink shirt. I explain to her what had happened and THE WHOLE TIME THAT IM TALKING SHES RAISING ONE EYEBROW AT ME as if I'm not speaking the same language???? Then she has he nerves to say "oh really? Well i don't know, I have never had any problems with her before???" Are you serious?? What the hell??? What kind of shitty manager are you? My husband and I were looking for something light to eat, so we decided to go to Panera Bread in Summit Heights. When we entered the store, the first thing we noticed was a bad smell that didn't make me feel hungry. We got in line and the cashier took our order which was a Cuban Panini, an Asian Sesame Chicken Salad, and Drinks. The Cashier told us the store is closed but do you want to eat in or out? We looked around and saw four other partlies were still eating. Her remark made us feel as if we were not really welcome to eat-in, but we chose to anyway. While we were waiting we went to the restrooms to wash our hands. The floor was sticky and my husband shoes stuck on floor. When we sat down the dining room floors were dirty as if they weren't cleaned all day and the trash cans were overflowing. The smell was the same in the back of the store as it was by the front door, ewwwww! I understand it was closing time but I've never seen any Panera store so dirty. Had we not been so hungry we would have left. While waiting for our food, the cashier stopped by our table and said, "sorry we are out of Cuban Paninis, have you tried the Frontega Chicken? Would you like one? I will give you extra chips or cookies." I thought, "REALLY?" When we ordered you didn't know they were out of Cubans? I was tired and hungry so I okayed substituting the Fontega Chicken. Its a great sandwich, but I would have ordered a Fontega if I wanted a Fontega. When our food arrived at our table, my husband's salad was dry and came with chips. My Panini (Fontega not Cuban) came with 2 bags of chips. The receipt said Salad with Roll. My husband asked if there was a manager on duty. After a few minutes went by, he made his way over to our table. We explained to the Manager what had happened. He said they ran out of Cubans three hours ealier and couldn't explain why the cashier didn't know that. That's taking one for the team! We told him about the smell, the floor, and the trash cans. He only offered excuses about closing time and offerred a refund which I refused (duh). I told him to be better tomorrow, and asked for the bread. When it arrived there were some little black dots that didn't seem to belong on a baguette. The bread was old and dry, although not quite stale which I had to ignore since I was so hungry. Overall on this day, this was the most poorly run Panera Bread store I have ever visited. It goes from the manager down to the employees who did not seem to care about customer experience or about the store they work in. I will be taking my business to 4th Street in Ontario from now on. read more
