The food is good and considered "healthy" for fast food, and that is appreciated. The mac and cheese is insanely good, and the broccoli cheddar soup in a bread bowl is also delicious. The sandwiches are also tasty, but so ridiculously skimpy I almost never order them. Free refills on soda, iced tea, coffee, and tea is pretty awesome, too. The staff has always been efficient and polite, no complaints there. The seating is very cramped, and the peak lunch hours can mean no empty seats, or dodging people walking with trays fairly close to your head. Between 11:30 and 1:00 is when I try to avoid the crowds. My only gripe is that I feel they're kind of pricey for a chain luncheon, a little too pricey. I just wanted to thank the counter service for putting the two boxes of strawberry rhubarb cakes upside down in the bag! Another trip to Panera. Usually I just get a coffee and cookie, but today I was really hungry, so I bought a salad and sandwich. I expected it to be really chintzy as usual (which is why I stopped ordering meals at Panera's), but was delighted to see a salad bowl that was filled, and a sandwich that actually had meat! Overall Panera as good food on their menu and they do their best to offer natural ingredients when they can so it's a welcome change from other fast food restaurants. Expect to pay a bit higher for lunch but at least you know what you're getting. read more

I got a chipotle chicken panini. The panini was half toasted the other half soggy. I ended up eating it by folding it like a pizza. It looked line it fell apart since there was more chicken on the bottom of the sandwich then in the middle. I then got a cookie which was good but I know it's just heated up and comes in frozen. annually i usually receive a free bagel for the month of april last year and this year when ii tried to receive bagel at mveterans rd they were very nice,but anytime that i tried to obtain a bagel from marsh, the server is nasty and gave me a very small barely fresh bagel because i didn't make an additional purchase. thew server told me that id i wanted cream cheese i would have to pay for it. i have no problem with that but i have an issue with this site for the last 3m or more years, i stopped going to panera because of this because the marsh ave site is the one closest to my home. instead i frequently go to starbucks instead something should be done about this one star is a generous gift read more

I went there on Sunday, March 2nd. The food was as always not bad for counter delivery fare. So why 1 star? Apparently this Panera went through a mild make over and in the process added more tables that now makes the dining experience akin to eating in the ferry terminal during rush hour. My wife and I sat in a table made for 2 with 3 chairs jammed into it, the tables by the wall all now have 3 chairs, and because of the added chairs and tables there does not appear to be an identifiable isle for diners to navigate to their seat. This caused me to move my head constantly out of the way of oncoming elbows and arms and made the whole experience totally without pleasure. I might add that the restaurant itself was only partially filled with customers. The problem was the added chairs and tables. I spoke to the manager on duty and asked her to sit in the 3rd seat at my table for a moment and though she agreed the space was cramped she said that basically the design decisions are corporate and they have little voice over such design choices. I would argue that any design decision that makes a restaurant an uncomfortable place to eat can certainly be challenged by any restaurant manager who cares about the eating place. Our lunch came to 26 dollars for 2 and to pay that for good food is fine but I would like to be able to eat in comfort. This Panera was cozy and seating was spaced nicely at one time. Now it is cramped, loud and uncomfortable. I won't be back. read more

First of all only giving 1 star because i HAVE too! I went here yesterday because I always go to the one in charleston and since I was in the area I figured why not. BIG mistake!!! I ordered a fontina grilled cheese, a cup of soup and my mom orders an italian flatbread and also a soup. So we sit down at the table and I pick up my grilled cheese and the bread is grilled but all of the cheese look like THEY JUST TOOK IT OUT OF THE REFRIDGERATOR! It was HARD NOT EVEN COOKED! LIKE STRING CHEESE AND SLICES OF CHEESE! So okay fine, I bring it back up to the pick up counter and ask them to actually grill the cheese and they do and when i get back to the table not only is the bread now burnt, besides the attitude I got from the boy behind the counter, I start to eat it anyway at this point. But wait thats not all! I get to the second half of my sandwich and lucky me Im a winner and I PULL A HAIR OUT OF THE CENTER OF MY GRILLED CHEESE, WHICH DID NOT BELONG TO ME!!! TALK ABOUT DISGUSTING. The manager ended up refunding the money for both of our meals because after seeing that my mother was no longer able to eat her food either but still I even had to wait for a manager!! I couldn't believe this happened and I WILL NEVER return to this place again. i went on a sunday morning to get a bakers dozen some cream cheese and a coffee. I came home to find that i only had 11 bagels so i called and told them I had ordered a bakers dozen which comes with 13 bagels but only got 11. So they told me if i came back i can get the other 2 bagels along with a "treat" for the trouble. I went back and told the lady who took my order that i had called about the 2 missing bagels. She asked me if i brought the bagels back with me which i had not. She said do you know what was missing. I didn't know so i just told her you can just give me any 2. She put it in a bag and just tossed the bag over the counter and said have a good day and turned around. honestly, i was expecting to hear at least an apology and HANDING me the bagel bag. AND i was supposed to get whatever the "treat" was supposed to be since they messed up my order and for having me go back and forth which is also written on the receipt. I had to call her back and told her i was supposed to get something for them messing my order up. Been there a few times recently and staff has changed often. Heard quite a few employees walked out. I can guess why...the manager, I think her name is Teya is a less than desired. Poor Management Skills. On more than one occasion I've seen her yelling one or two employees while other employees stand around and do nothing. Sometimes there are two cashiers just standing around while one person is rushing to make the food! I really feel sorry for some of the kids that are working hard. Depends on who you get to make your food. Lately, there's been a someone , younger guy, dark hair, glasses and he seems to be on point with the customer service and food. I had a bad experience here. It was over priced and when I was getting my food a manger was yelling across the store to one of the cashiers. The food was yummy but not for the price its worth. I paid for a bowl of clam chowder and I received it in a cup and the soup was spilled all over the edges.
