Ordered a Egg Breakfast sandwich today at 8:57 am. Arrived in drive thru line, a few cars ahead. Once at drive up speaker I gave my name and was told drive up. I waited 15 mins the line didn't move. I went inside and saw the place was empty? & persons in the kitchen. I gave my name the first person said she had no such order. I said gee the drive up speaker person said she had it. After a few mins another person came forward with my order, But Wait! I got home and found that the egg sandwich had no egg. The bread was burnt like a hockey puck. This is the 2nd time in a week that same thing. Gee have they run out of eggs? Oh when I got my order the first lady turned and said to my that I had a bad attitude? Did not have record of order - I prepaid and showed them confirmation with order. 2. Came back again - we don't have your order. 3. Showed order again 4. We're out of bagels I picked - that's why I ordered early. To get what I wanted 5. Handed me a bag of bagels. Didn't have time to check - asked twice if there was a bakers dozen in bag. I love Panera. But this location is horrible. Food tastes good except for the fact that they can never get orders right. I've worked in fast food, it's not that hard to get peoples orders right. Stop putting frisée on sandwiches as "lettuce"! It's NOT lettuce!! Today I ordered a tuna sandwich and it was piled high with this crap. This is like eating weeds. I'm certain Panera does this for one of 2 reasons: it's cheap and it has a slightly longer shelf life. But it's still not good. It's a garnish. Frisée is what you put on a platter to decorate around a roast. It does not belong on a sandwich as lettuce. Lettuce should be either: 1) iceberg 2) romaine or 3) possibly butter lettuce. Finally, instruct staff to construct a tuna sandwich with a bit of care so the tomato isn't hanging 1/2 out of the sand which. Mine looked like a 4-year old made it. I'm a Panera regular, at least once a week for years and years, in several locations. This particular location has employees who just don't seem to give a crap. Many have a bad attitude. I've even been severely chewed out because I ordered online and went to the window to pick up. Note, I'm mobility impaired. stopped here in desperation but was really surprised by a few things. One, this panera was FAST, usually you wait for your food forever but i barely sat down and it was ready! My only small issue that i didn't complain about cause i'm picky is 1 i asked for chips and got bread and the cucumber in my mediterranean chicken bowl wasn't diced. it is awkward to eat full slices in this bowl. Tonight I visited Panera for a quick take two or pick two whatever you can pick one of this and one of that for a little plate of goodness 1/2 chicken salad and chicken noodle soup First was the soup with a decent amount of chicken a few carrots and less that what I would desire with chicken pieces but the flavor was very delish. They also gave a big chunk of bread with it which was a "huh" because so you really need more bread when you have a half of sandwich, plus I ordered croutons for my soup which was not received. The chicken salad had beautiful lettuce and tomato and grapes are in their chicken salad. Because I had so much bread, I decided to eat my sandwich without the bread. Very tasty and my chickens will enjoy having the left over bread tomorrow as a treat. This location is a bit, hummmm, all over the place at times with getting it right. I have been before pre-pandemic and then curbside during pandemic and they always seem to forget something or even give you the wrong order. The food is always tasty if they could just get the order correct it would be great. There is also a lot of dust on the cords of the light fixtures over the booths which is a bit bothersome for me as I am a bit of a clean freak. 3 stars for being ok This could get bumped up of the store could figure out the errors. read more

If your day started great this Panera store in Yulee can fix that with their abyssal shortcomings. And to top it off they help you further by adding insult to injury. it's bad enough you show up at 0900 and the bagel rack is almost empty, then order the few sesame seeds and everything bagels left, and as you're about to pay, watch the drive in service person come and take your bagels from under you, without a word, a sorry or anything. Good luck getting more help or even obtaining the store manager or even the store #. Not making this up. Was delighted when they opened a few years ago. Store has been going downhill slowly. I'd be surprised if you've never been to a Panera. It's a chain serving in-house made pastries and bread with sandwiches and soups. Order at the front then you're given a buzzer and pickup your food when it goes off. For to go orders, use the app and sign up for rewards; I get free stuff often through that. My absolute #1 fav is the broccoli cheddar soup with a side of baguette. I also always get the chocolate chip muffie. Its like the top part of the muffin... The chicken wrap with egg, avocado, and peppers is good but has a strong chicken flavor. The egg and cheese on ciabatta is good but pretty basic and not enough cheese. I usually have a good experience at this Panera and I like the convenience of the drive-through. I went through the drive thru today and ordered the new mediterranean salad with chicken and a green tea. After waiting over ten minutes they forgot the chicken on the salad and the green tea either the machine needs to be cleaned or was just cleaned and not rinsed out, but the tea was disgusting and not drinkable. The bread was very good and fresh, but it was just thrown in the bag and did not seem very sanitary. I also did not receive a receipt which felt sketchy. I'm not sure I'll be back to this location anytime soon. read more

So Friday I order two bagels from here with walnut cream cheese, I do delivery because I'm still healing from a surgery. I opened bag and receipt is correct but what's inside is not, not even the cream cheese. I drive over there, I'm very polite explain what happened and get the correct cream cheese and had to get a replacement bagel for the one they messed up. Well to my surprise when I opened new bag, I got a new bagel 1/2 of one with a top hat . Seriously it's laughable but I included photos. Is it really that hard to slice bagels and see with your own that maybe we need to slice another one for customer this isn't right. I enjoy panera and will. But today was not a good experience. I've had previous experiences where I would get home and realize that we were missing an item even at the drive thru and would have to go back and tell them this; which I have at times received an attitude about this but not very often. This morning I went and got three things: one of which was their cinnamon crunch bagel (photo down below). The bagel looked like it had a bite taken out of the top? I don't understand why it looked like this when I took it out of the bag. I also got one of the chocolate chip muffin tops they sell and that had tasted fairly stale to me. I'm not one to usually complain about food or service; but while the staff was lovely, I'm disappointed that this is now a fourth time of this occurring where something doesn't taste right/stale or something is missing. I think I will be lessening my trips and stops to panera for a while after this bagel was given to me. I will always love panera bread for the food and experience, but this is the fourth time this has happened now and I'm really disappointed that it looks like someone took a bite out this bagel; even though that may not be the case of someone biting into my food before receiving it. I've never received any food, including bagels looking like this and I'm utterly disappointed with my experience and will now not frequent panera as much because of this. I have both ordered and picked up multiple DoorDash orders, and the staff is always pleasant and welcome me in. The food comes out fast, and communication has always been good at the pick up window. The food is always tasty. The main thing I like to get is a grilled cheese with chips, but the Asiago cheese bagel with cream cheese has been my favorite thing to get. my last order was done on the Panera website. when I checked the salad the next day for lunch, the only thing I had was 2 small onion rings when I ordered & paid for a pick 2 of cup of tomato soup & a half fuji apple chicken salad. I tried to put no onions on the salad and got only the onions instead of the salad. I tried calling to speak to the manager, but no one answers the phone even though it was not the busy hours they listed. I love their food, but to pay full price for of $32 for a cup of tomato soup and 2 small raw onion rings is ridiculous. I also gave the delivery person a tip. The accuracy of the order is that it is always guaranteed to be inaccurate. Not sure how three bear claws turned into three pumpkin muffins. I've had a few bad meals from this Panera but today was absolutely the worst. I ordered a bowl of the broccoli cheddar soup hoping for the best and what I received was anything but. The soup was extremely watered down - certainly not the consistency this soup is supposed to have. But what was worse was that it appeared to have other soups added in - perhaps to extend it?? Normally I like this place however; don't order French Onion Soup they don't know how to make it properly. No bread or cheese in the soup it was just onion soup. Stupidest place I've ever been to in my life. Tried to order two dozen bagels, and tried to get them delivered. I was actually standing at the register with the addresses, ready to pay for the order and they would not take the order. This is my first one star rating ever! I am sure it will probably be my last one, because it takes a lot to get me upset! I will admit the food was great, but the service was AWFUL! As my husband was asking where to put our used plates/silverware he was directed to put it on the shelf - he thought he was putting it where the employee directed him - he wasn't. The employee lost her mind, and basically made it into a huge deal. My husband is probably one of the most considerate, kind, and thoughtful people you will ever meet - so for her to be that ugly about an honest mistake definitely made my hair stand straight up! In a time when we are trying to do all we can to be understanding and support the restaurant business you would think that understanding would be reciprocated. I am not exaggerating when I say I have never received a perfectly correct order from here. This last time I ordered the green goddess salad without tomato or bacon and what I was received was lettuce and an egg. The staff was not the nicest. They were actually very snarky. They didn't bother ringing our table monitor or even calling out a name when our bagel was done so it was hard and cold before we got it. Unlike other Panera's you have to get your Sips cups from the counter. They ignore you when you go up to inquire, when they finally respond they roll their eyes and ask your name snottily. It's very sad that this Panera location in Yulee has not improved with consistency of drink/food. Not being able to correctly prepare a sandwich that was read back to me twice at the drive thru. What is up with the employees at this location? This morning I ordered the Sausage,Egg & Cheese on Brioche with eggs over easy. They were scrambled! Also ordered a Chai Tea Latte, looked like milk with a dash of Chai! This is an ongoing issue, 98% of the time this is the exact outcome that i've come to expect here. Either that or I arrive home to find half of my order missing or receive the wrong thing/size. Don't get me started on attitudes when you ask that they correct their mistakes. In my business, I venture across the region on a daily basis and consider Panera Bread a "relatively safe" choice for edible food, and in that regard, this franchise location is no different. Today my experience here took me by surprise. As I sat down to enjoy my meal, I overheard this comment emanating from behind the counter, "If I had better co-workers and customers, I'd appreciate it." Whether or not this was said in jest, is not the point. From out on the floor, there was no way to know that. My immediate reaction was disbelief. And then as a professional in the CS industry, I was pissed that somebody would actual say that in earshot of customers. I spoke to the associate at the counter and expressed how I felt about it. If that was said by a supervisor/manager.... go home and get your priorities straight and decide if this is the right line of work for you. If that was an associate, give them some basic CS remedial training. My food and the service I received were on par with my past Panera experiences. I want to give this panera a 1 star., but you deserve better, and so do we. read more
