Food is always excellent! However we were disappointed with our phone order because we wanted to ask for the family style and the person on the phone said that the combo was the same even though they are different. I think you can only get family style and choose your meats when you dine in. Also we requested Mediterranean and Greek salad and we ended up getting both Greek salad. We would have appreciated getting a variety of salads but it still tasted wonderful. Will definitely come back. It's much better dine in but take out is more comfortable. read more

If I could put even 0 stars I would. I received the worst service ever. The staff there completely ignored me. From waiting to be seated to trying to order. I waited about 5 minutes or so to be seated, sat me down on a table. I had my daughter with me so we needed a booth so she can sit down. So I kindly asked this guy server if we could sit down at a booth which was dirty, so I knew I had to wait for them to clean it, which I was fine with it. So he told me," it would take 5 minutes to clean because it's dirty."( With an attitude smirk) I was okay that's fine I can wait. About 8 minutes go by the lady that sat me asked me if I got helped out yet and I said no. So she asked for my drink, I asked for a water and then I let her know that I wanted to move to the booth. She said, " okay". So I'm guessing she's going to clean it or at least get me water. But no she went to pick menus and talk to her coworkers. So I waited another 15 minutes and no water. And the guy server that told me he would get the booth cleaned for me, came to the table next to me that was dirty. Looked at me laughed and then cleaned that table instead of the one I wanted to sit at. The hostess walked by us at the check in clip board 5 times and ignored us and then looked like I was bothering her when I wanted to ask for a table for two. Someone else came to put our names down. The restaurant was empty but there was a 30 min wait. Our waitress while nice basically took our order and then brought us the check. She looked young and possibly just inexperienced and poorly trained. Salads were good. The falafel was dry like saw dust. And the only sauce they had is tzatziki which has diary. The humus is lumpy not smooth. They also didn't have garlic sauce. What self respecting Mediterranean place doesn't have a garlic sauce?!? While not the restaurants fault, this spectacular dining experience was topped off with a woman at the next table cackling and carrying on her phone... on speaker. read more

I don't think any fresh food is made here. Re-warmed food with a few fresh pieces of lettuce and tomato. This is mall-trap crap. Open early - sign says "wait to be seated" but no one there. Walked up to the pick up counter and I was the only customer when I got there. 40 minutes after they opened, only me, and my appetizer took 40 minutes. I had to walk back up and ask. We were a total of 10 hungry hippos. We ordered 2 "Hummus Trios" a total of $17.98 and bread with no charge and 1 "Family Style half Date Salad" for $38.97 and ordered another "Family Style half Date Salad for $38.97 and 3 Sub 2 beef Koobiedeh Kabobs for $5.97 and 3 Skewer Chicken for $29.97 all together with tax was about ~$143 We like completely cleaned the plates; that's how good and hungry we were. The presentation was really nice and served in big silver plates. We had Basmati Rice, Date Salad, Mediterranean Salad, and Chicken skewers I cant even tell all how tender and juicy they were, so much juice when you mix it with the rice it becomes like a curry dish. Some chicken fat came in mouth but I discarded it and loved it. I almost forgot Beef Koobiedeh perfect seasoning and tasted bomb, usually in other places they are too bland. Management needs to work this place staff is very disrespectful, place my order over the phone the told me the time to come and pick up my order, I gave them 10 min. extra to prevent any irregular situations. We put down our names for reservation, and we're seated on the outside of the inside seating, where the entrance of the mall is. I give them one star only because I can't give no stars. Placed an order for a beef family meal over the phone and the man taking the order repeated my order exactly how I had said it. I drove with my family from Beaumont all the way to Riverside to get my food. Drive all the way back home and find out I hadn't been given beef like I had ordered but chicken. The chicken was burnt to a char and the salad I was given was incorrect. I call back to explain the situation and Taylor was understanding and said that she would escalate my issues to her manager Jose who would call me back the next day. Well the next day is today and Jose never bothered to call me back to try and make things better. This place had great customer service when they opened but over the years the management and the customer service has gone to the trash. It's like no one cares to make the customer happy anymore; yet we're the ones that keep the doors open by repeating our business. For the record Jose all it would have taken to make me happy was a phone call to address my concerns and a complimentary meal to make up for the charred chicken no one in my family likes or could even eat. Mother's Day 2025 (Riverside, CA - Tyler Mall location) - Placed an online Catering order 3 days before Mother's Day. Picked my time slot for a 3:45 PM pick up. Called 1 day before to confirm the order. I was told by the person who took my call: "We will be running late tomorrow, so when you arrive, check in with the host so we can get you in the queue". OK...so I figured arriving 20 minutes early was fine...because just how late could they actually run??? 2+ Hours past my scheduled pick up time!!!! At 5:50 PM, I had our order in hand!!! I had to inquire several times while standing around with dozens of other people. Not a single employee would ever give me a definitive time update. The owner's and management KNEW this was going to happen and put their employees in a very bad working environment. Overhearing the employees dealing with other customers, it appears the restaurant allowed unlimited orders to be placed with No Cap on allowable orders/time slots. This is wrong! What was supposed to be an enjoyable Mother's Day meal with family at home, became stressful and no one really enjoyed the food. The front-of-house employees did the best they could. PKG IS AMAZING! My boyfriend and I ate dinner here with friends during IE Restaurant Week and it was so worth it. The amount of food we got for the price we paid was crazy. We got a side, full sized entree, and choice of dessert for $15! How crazy is that?! It was such a great deal and I would love to come back even though Restaurant Week has since ended. My boyfriend and I split their Green Lentil Soup, Beef Koobideh Kabob, and Baklava and everything was delicious. At first, we were thinking that maybe we should get our own orders, but we are so glad we chose otherwise. We got a full sized entree and there was no way I could have finished my own order along with the side and dessert. I highly recommend PKG to everyone!
