Papa Murphy's take and bake! Love at 425 :) Okay so Papa Murphy's is a household name in my family. It's one of those spots that is always in our top 10 of choices when we want to do take out but also don't want anything too crazy. Something everyone in the house will eat and enjoy. My mom loves the salads here and will order their garden salads twice a month, at least. It's a huge salad that she gets two separate meals out of. The take and bake pizza's are fun. You feel like you're cooking at home (technically you are!) but also getting a quality pizza from a local shop. The new owners here at this location are super nice and sweet to my mother and I. Regularly go to this location for decades but finally taking the time to give them a shout-out on Yelp. The people here are very nice and friendly but more importantly they make the best pizza! The toppings are always super fresh and they usually don't get skimpy on you with them. Yelp wants me to talk about the ambience but it's a take and bake pizza shop lol. There are several Papa Murphy's near my house but this is the only one I order from. The family that owns it is so kind and you can see they take pride in what they do. The owner recognizes my online order and has my sides of pizza sauce ready when I come to pick it up. (I like dipping my pizza in pizza sauce ) I get a gourmet vegetarian pizza and cheese bread. They're both always fresh and delicious. I've tried other locations and this isn't the case. And to top it all off, the place is immaculate! Kitchen and prep area are always spotless. Tried Papa Murphys pizza from the original side of WS. Walked in, met mom, dad and older daughter, who own and operate this small business. Enjoyed a delightful conversation with daughter while watching mom create our pizza. It was a beautiful and tasty pizza. It was a bit difficult carrying a family size pizza on the paper bake tray but I managed to get it to my daughter's home without dropping it. Pizza was yummy and grandson loved it. Normally papa Murphy's is a quick last resort. I stopped in and got a couple pizzas today. This location is under new ownership. I have to say this was one of our best experiences!!! The staff were very welcoming and attentive. Our pizzas had tons of toppings and they were quick making it. It was one of the best pizzas we had from there in a long time. The store was very clean and the cold cases were well stocked with soda and salads. I would definitely recommend trying this location. read more

My wife and I have came here a few times, I have experienced great customer service every time! And I honestly believe I will have that same great customer service every time! Each time I have came a young man by the name Jagjit has been here and either at the cash register or making the pizza, he has been very kind, helpful and professional. We appreciate that very much! So thank you Jagjit! Keep up the great work! He is the son of the owners, this is the true definition of a MOMS & POPS! Even though it's a franchise, it's ran with love! Tonight was the first time meeting his sister named Happy. Very helpful as well. We have also met his father which he is very kind too. Tonight Jagjit explained to us that he keeps track of regulars so that they can call in and order their regular FAVORITE! That way it's ready when they get there and they don't have to explain the order. I thought that was AWESOME! My first exposure to Take and Bake pizza was down in Southern California. Oceanside, CA to be exact. Yes, you read that right, we had a take and bake down in So Cal. Well, it's not like it's there anymore, right? Half the people down there don't know how to turn on an oven, so the business wasn't long for this world. But it was a Papa Murphys, and it was good. Ok, it was better than good. It was freaking Delicious. Best Pizza EVER. Like I said, the one down there in North San Diego County was closed. Much sadness. Then I moved up here to resume my academic career, and lo and behold, what is this that pops up in my mail box? Coupons? For Papa Murphys? SCORE! I always get the stuffed Chicago Style. I'm sure their other pizzas are good, but this is the best of all meat-on-bread-stuffed-in-ovens-covered-in-cheese worlds combined. Keep in mind you DO have to bake these things yourself, but heck, that means more beer to drink for dinner! read more

This papa murphey's is just ok. the food is good enough but in comparison to others i have visited this one is lagging a little bit. we got a salad and it was missing croutons, barely had chicken on it, and only came with one pack of salad dressing. the chicago style pizza looked smaller than usual and was very skimpy on the toppings. This one is closer to my house but i will likely drive to the once across town next time. They will give you more for your money. read more

Great service! Great food and great staff. Family owned and operated spot. Despite major stores in their shopping center closing, they're still providing excellent service and good quality food. Because those big stores closed (Safeway/BigLots) I always forget about Papa Murphys being there. Happened to look up pizza places near me and this came up. Glad i went in. The place was very clean, greeted right away and talked through the ordering experience. (Its been awhile since I've been to a build your own, so they walked me through all the options I could ask -even gave some great recommendations. I came back a few days later to order pizzas for friends coming over after a day of wine tasting. BEST.PIZZA.EVER! (and that wasnt the wine talking lol) ordered a half cowboy and half Hawaiian (yes! I think I've gotten pizza from at least two dozen PM's. I'm grateful that the two in West Sac are amazing and on the rare occasion something goes wrong they quickly correct the issue. At this particular PM's they actually stayed open twenty minutes past closing because I was caught in traffic. I called them twice while sitting on 80 and the lady said it wasn't a problem. We just moved to West Sac. We have been to plenty of other Papa murphys and this one is not good. The pizza was fine but the problem is we ordered a Chicken Cesar salad. We only got one pack of dressing when other places give you two. Also we got no croutons what so ever and the lettuce was not crisp. Yeah there was barely any chicken too!
