Noodles were really yummy and I go there regularly just to eat their chowmein. I also order their take outs. If u like indo-Chinese noodles, it is a great choice.

Best Indian food in the west side. Every single dish was authentic and soooo good. Thai paradise is 10/10 compared to Woodland Hills

My family and I went last Saturday, our first time going, and couldn't have had a better experience! The staff were all incredibly friendly, but the most unexpected and awesome surprise of our visit was that we were served by Chef Keith, the chef and owner himself! We loved hearing about his culinary journey and what inspired each of his dishes. And the food itself was unbelievably good! Each new dish somehow outdid the last! My two favorites were the cabbage and the half chicken, not counting the dangerously delicious banana split! The space itself is bright and has a warm vibe all around. Go ahead and check it out, this was not just the best food, but the best dining experience I've had in a good while! Thank you Chef Keith and the Alta team!

I get the Tev's hype. This food is SMACKIN'. 5/5 stars for the Jamaican food they serve on the…read moreweekends, but I'm sure they crush it any day of the week. I love jerk chicken, and Tev's has what might be the best jerk chicken I've ever had. It's not your typical fall-off-the-bone style. It's more like grilled chicken thighs, but they're incredibly tender and packed with smoky, sweet flavor. So good. And everything Tev's puts on your plate is top-notch. High-quality ingredients, great portions, and absolutely worth the price. The patio out back is great too. It has that big family backyard gathering kind of feel. Will I be back? Absolutely. My only complaint is that I don't live closer. I'd come every single week if I could!

Beloved Jamaican soul food spot located in Vermont Square (area of Los Angeles close to Inglewood/…read moreBaldwin Hills). It was my first and only visit (so far) and someone in line told me that they change their menu depending on the day. When I was there, they had oxtail and that's what I wanted! It's not necessarily cheap but it was definitely worth it. It came with Mac and cheese, rice and peas, cabbage, and a drink. And there was so much food it lasted me at least 2 meals and of I could remember correctly, maybe 3? The food was flavorful - well seasoned and prepared well. In order to order food you stand in a line - possibly starting outside - and you eventually come up to a window where you order and you pay. You then wait. It seems like they're cooking and preparing an meal so just know it may take some time. Especially if they're busy.

Wow the flavor combination was insane, and it was different than other tuna salads I've had. I highly recommend trying it. We also got two drinks which were deliciouss!! Pro tip: I really recommend coming here for drinks and light app and then trying the Cento Pasta bar since the food there was amazing as well. Side note: they were super amazing and allowed us to bring our drinks over to the Cento pasta bar next door for our reservation.

The ambiance was…read morecertainly novel and interesting to experience, like a fantastical Santorini with Spy Kids elements. The food, on the other hand, was a letdown. I appreciated that the bar seats were cushioned, although they were still not particularly comfortable. There was an odd area of bar tables jutting out from the wall (is this a club masquerading as a restaurant? I guess they are open until 11 on the weekend...) that were meant to be a standing-only eating space. The only other option indoors was an area of coffee-table style seating. They obviously had no intention of making this a relaxing environment, as it looked like there were absolutely no comfortable seats to be found in the entire restaurant. I suppose that's fine if you just set your expectations appropriately ‍ The food was lacking, to say the least. We ordered the three tier seafood tower and the Uni and Crab rice for two of us to share. The waitress assured us this would be enough food for two, but I gotta say, for the exorbitant price, there was barely any food at all...and most of it was underwhelming. The oysters were fine with lemon but had a bland and one-dimensional mignonette sauce. The seafood tower had prawns with their shells fully on, which, while tasty, was annoying as hell and messy af to peel. The scallop had the most complex and complementary flavors out of the whole tower. It'd be nice if there were more than two scallops per tower. The uni with shiso piqued my interest but ultimately was disappointing to experience. The uni was wrapped in a whole shiso leaf, and as much as I love shiso, this was not a good way to experience it. There was too much shiso for the uni, and this was an inelegant means of transportation to my mouth. The texture of so much shiso leaf against uni was also highly unpleasant. ALSO, I just realized after perusing photos of the three-tier, we only had 2 uni+leaf pieces in our tower while other photos have 3. Some photos from recent months have 3 and some photos from many months ago have 2, so it doesn't seem like a systematic change. There is only 1 price listed for the three-tier, so now I just wonder if some people are discriminated against... I would have definitely brought this up had I noticed while I was there! As for the uni and crab rice, it tasted okay but wasn't anything to write home about. I think I expected more of a fried rice or warm dish and what we got was more like a tossed rice salad (?) that was half warm with the rice and half cold with the uni and crab and greens, leading to a lukewarm dish that wasn't particularly satisfying. The portion was also quite small and the presentation unremarkable. As for drinks, we ordered the piña colada (lemme tell you, this had a BOLD *canned*-pineapple flavor) and the melon spritz (fine, I guess). For $20, it would have been nice to have a piña colada with fresh pineapple juice (or at least not so obviously canned juice gd!). Maybe this restaurant was designed for one-time guests that would come for the insta-pics but would inevitably be so disappointed by the food as to never return again (?). If so, mission accomplished. In general, if you HAD to come here, I would recommend just getting drinks (I suppose that is the largest revenue source for any restaurant with a bar). And do not order the piña colada under any circumstances! Friendly service though!
