I've been to this location multiple times, early morning, noon, late afternoon, weekdays and weekends. I generally think their pastries and other baked goods are decent. A bit pricey for what you get but it is better than local grocery store versions. The only one gripe is there has never been any baguettes whatsoever. Maybe my timing is bad, and I can see in the photos that there are baguettes available in the basket in the center shelf island. I guess I'm really unlucky with my timing :( read more

Kinda happy this new Paris Baguette opened so close to me. I came in early one weekday morning to pick up some treats before work for my co-workers. They open at 7am. There was a decent amount of pastries available. Though not all of it was labeled so I had to do some guessing. I got a croissant (turned out to be ham and cheese), a giant donut hole, and a cheese tart. Also got a piece of chocolate strawberry cake and a crème brulee from the desserts display. I think the lady who helped me at the register was pretty new and green. She was a little slow ringing me up. There was another lady at the adjacent register who rang up two people, with more stuff than me in a shorter amount of time. She didn't put my pastries in individual plastic bags. And then smashed both of the desserts into a tiny cardboard box. I was in a rush so I didn't say anything but it would be nice to have options. Plastic bags vs a box. Maybe the dessert in individual boxes or a larger one. As for the food, most of it I didn't get to try as my co-workers gobbled them up. But they said it was good. I had the cheese tart, which was solid. Though I prefer the Japanese versions. Can't wait to try some of their other pastries and drinks too. And hopefully the workers get more experience. read more

We used to pick up pastries from this bakery somewhat regularly before Covid-19. This morning was my first time going in since the lockdown. First thing when I walk in is an employee or manager talking on the phone with her mask completely below her chin, literally right inside the front door. I'm a little nervous, thinking, is she talking *onto* the pastries that I'm about to purchase? I think she was doing some sort of inventory of what's on the shelves, so I get that she needed to be standing where she was, but the mask being completely off her face was off-putting for me. I bought a few things anyway, as I didn't have the time to go elsewhere. When I went to pay for the pastries, I said "Good morning." Not an answer. Same lady. OK, so now I'm going to take home bread with whatever mouth particles are on the packaging, and then I'm not getting halfway pleasant customer service? A partial smile would be considered customer service! I'll try the other Paris Baguette nearby next time. I was disappointed... and too bad because I was looking forward to being a regular customer here again. read more

I love the pastries and have purchased before at the Santa Clara store. The reason for the low review is that the cashier was not friendly. I tried to talk to her about the discount process. She referred me to the card on counter. I was excited and downloaded the app while my husband paid. The cashier knew I was downloading app and didn't give my husband a receipt, so when I got the app opened I didn't have a receipt to scan for points. when we got home I realized she didn't include one of our items. This location is so well-stocked compared to the others nearby, possibly because of how new it is, but even so, I appreciate it. I went to the Santa Clara location at 6pm on a Wednesday and they were sold out of literally every single cake, so I came here instead and had multiple options to choose from! The staff was friendly too, and since it was near Christmas they gave me an awesome free color-changing mug too! Btw get their blueberry chiffon cake, it's worth it. You won't regret it, trust me. It's perfectly light and fluffy without being too sweet. I have no idea how they make it so delicious. I also got a slice of the mango mousse, and that was just as good. Don't bother with grocery store bakeries or anything like that - this is my new go-to spot anytime I need baked goods. read more

Wow, I've been here twice on two consecutive days. It's a pretty chic Paris Baguette compared to the other ones I've been to in the South Bay because not a lot of people come here yet. There's ample parking in this lot. I like this place because it's small and quiet, especially during midday hours. Fresh bread gets placed on the shelf several times a day. So far, I've only had their toast and feuilletes, but it's all top-notch. The only complaint is that the prices are slightly higher than my Paris Baguette in San Jose; for example, the signature custard pudding is 3.85. Otherwise, it's a swell place to work on your laptop. Since when did this PB open? I was around the area and was indeed craving for some Asian bakery pastries and goodies, and stumbled upon this PB location. It was kinda hidden and hard to spot as if it's next to some bank. But yay, successfully found this place and noticed this location had slightly less selection and variety of bread comparing to other PB locations. However, I still picked out 2 pastries from here. What I like about PB is that they will always release newly bread product or incorporated seasonal fruits into making pastries, so people always get excited and look forward to coming back for more yummy bread. I ordered Tiramisu Croissant & Chicken Curry Croquette Bun. The tiramisu croissant was very intriguing and pretty tasty like tiramisu on the top layered with buttery-flaky croissant on the bottom. And, chicken curry croquette was still the same deliciousness with perfectly deep-fried dough around with inside of chicken curry filling, order this one, cant go wrong with it for sure :) There are so many more variety of breads, cakes, buns, pastries, desserts to try out, just need to keep going back to try them all :) read more

The sandwiches and the bread, as well as the pastries are so good! I believe the cakes also taste great, since a lot of people order them. The workers at Paris Baguette are also very polite and always offer to do more even if it means asking to heat up food for a customer. They also constantly make the place nicer by wiping tables, cleaning the glass, replacing and taking out bread, and re-arranging the food in the refrigerators. This is one of the worst Paris Baguette locations I've been to. And I go to Paris Baguette in many locations a lot every week. The pastry was overly brown that it starts to fall apart. I wanted to give them a chance since they are new and all. But the experience today just kept me in doubt. The Asian lady at the cashier acted annoyed when I was trying to redeem my award points to get their free pastry (why did she think I got this award?? Of course cuz I've bought a LOT) and managed to deduct the cheapest bread in my order as the redemption (like I didn't see what she did). I guess it's an acceptable thing to do, but the other BETTER location LET ME PICK OUT a new pastry in addition to what I just paid for. read more

This Paris Baguette charges more for the sweet rice donuts than the one on Castro street, I just got literally (in the real meaning of the word too) 3 days ago. The guy at the register who looked like the manager tried to tell me the price has always been 3.29 . I find that hard to believe. For one thing, the price was not next to the item itself like usual but I did not bother to check because I just got one 3 days ago down the street. The one at Castro charges 2.69 (at least they did 3 days ago according to my receipt) . The one at this place cost 3.29 . So he was either lying and it just increased over the weekend (and IMO no longer worth the price) or they have always been overcharging for some of the same items you can get cheaper at a different location. Either way, it was not honest. So take notice. read more
