The view is really nice and the food is actually good for a touristy spot. It gets kinda cold on the patio if it's not the summer. The breeze is very strong. Dress accordingly. The cheese bread here is very rich and delicious. They have a crazy thick topping on it full of mayo and cheese. Not a calorie deficit item. The calamari is always good, the sushi is consistently decent. They have a dedicated sushi chef. Clam chowder is solid and so are the steamed clams. We've been going here a long time and the food is consistently good. Happy hour has good prices. If you are gonna go all out the menu is pricey. We have before and prefer to go for happy hour. It's a good spot for a nice date or something special.
A great dinner with a great view! The Cioppino was very good. They have a nice selection of fresh seafood. The service was very attentive and friendly. It's a bit pricey, but it's expected since it's right on the water with views of the lighthouse and Queen Mary. It's great for special occasions or to take out of town visitors.
We went here for Father's Day. With reservations seems to be organized sitting us outdoors with lout the hassle of waiting. The everything we order was well prepared and delicious. I ordered a dozen of oysters but surprisingly they were very small ($49). You should ask what type of oyster to give an idea what you're ordering. Overall, the food and service were great. I would go back and experience the evening atmosphere. I'm sure it must be pretty.
Ambience: 15/10 Service: 10:10 Food: 10/10 Wait time: 10/10 I was here celebrating a graduation and the ambience is absolutely perfect right on the water. There were seating options both inside and outside which I absolutely loved and everyone seemed to enjoy their meal. My absolute favorite was the warm butter cake and I truly enjoyed my shrimp cocktail nice huge jumbo shrimp. The service was great and the drink menu is pretty extensive. Well I did not have a cocktail. One of my family members enjoyed their version of a bloody Mary OMG. I think what I like about this place most is that if you want to have an upscale experience, you totally can. However, if you're not in the mood for all the extras and you just want to go dine somewhere nice this fits the criteria also. I'm literally trying to figure out a reason to go back now.
Reserved for a pre-Mother's day celebration the night before. Service was great-- friendly front staff and attentive server. Our server was able to recommend us the best type of shucked oysters to pick that were "beginner-friendly." We went with the East coast derived oysters, and they were actually really good with no fishy aftertaste. Appetizers and entrees didn't take too long to come out-- around 15-20 minutes for all to arrive at the same time. I actually like their bread they offer as a courtesy because it had a hard, thick outer shell but was soft in the inside. Their butter is also heavenly, loved that it was sweet! Entrees were decent-- I got the scallops and they were soft and quite delectable. Prices range anywhere from around $30-$75 for their entrees, which I understand comes from the freshness of the seafood and that it is a fine dining restaurant. Ambiance definitely sets a low-lit vibe that would be best for date nights. Kind of hard to see the menu if you don't place the little table lamp in the middle of the table. But again, understand it's probably for the fine dining aspect. Do wish we were able to sit outside to get the nice breeze and view, so maybe next time!
Haven't been back here for a long while. The 1st time was here was for my HS prom's dinner back in the 80s and it's still standing and went back several time afterwards. Parking is fine with private paid parking lot (they do validating for it) or you can find paid or sometime free street parking or meter parking spaces. The place is overlooking the water and quite a view, especially during sunset. Spacious, nice, clean restaurant with great vibe. Services can be 80% hit and 20% can be miss. Most foods here are good but off the prices, so so, but you're most likely paying for the views and the location more likely. I really enjoyed the fresh oysters, calamari and fish & chip...well battered and well cooked. But overall, it a good place to hangout for sure.
Be ready for a spendy meal. We had a large group of 16 for lunch. It was very nice inside. Parking with validation was $10.40. I had the ahi tuna sandwich and eel sashimi. Eel is always good. The ahi seemed overcooked. He had the Chilean sea bass which he loved. We all shared oysters, calamari, garlic cheese bread(SO GOOD). I had a mango mojito which was delish even though the mangos in it were a bit under ripe. $1227.00 was our bill! They tacked on 18%. So his tip was $169!
I was really disappointed here. The food was okay, they told me a few minutes after ordering that they didn't have what I wanted and then the waiter hovered until I picked something new and I hadn't thought of a backup option and he seemed annoyed. They also took away our appetizer plates while there was still food on them and never asked if we wanted them cleared. Filled up half the table with water and then didn't come back to fill up the rest for 16 minutes.
While on a staycation in Long Beach, my wife and I found ourselves strolling all over The Pike area. We stumbled upon the Parker's Lighthouse and decided to pop in for a quick snack. We orderd a couple cocktails and some appetizers. I had an Old Fashion my wife went with a Pomegranate Basil Smash. For the appetizer we went with the Karage Chicken Lettuce Wrap, Crispy Calamari, and The Queens Roll. The service little slow, but thankfully we weren't in a hurry. Although we sat in the bar area, it seems to be a kool place for a date. There are bunch of window seats with ocean views that could set the vibe. The Lettuce wraps were our least favorite due to the lack of flavor. You most definitely will need to use the sauce it comes with. The sushi and the calamari were wonderful. The sushi was nice and fresh, and the Calamari was crispy and flavorful. The cocktails hit the spot. Overall its a good spot for drinks and light bites.
We had a great time...the view deserves all the stars. The service was great and our server was very kind to the kiddos and indulged them the whole time. The kids menu was a hit with our little ones, who enjoyed popcorn shrimp and a kids size fish and chips. We also shared a mixed grilled plate that was serviced with skewers and the fish of the day. It was a good and healthy plate. We also ordered the tollhouse pie which hit the dessert spot, but had a lot of nuts. All of the pier spots are clearly for the views. The food was good, but not the star of the show.
Went here for a company dinner, and we were seated in the private room which has a water view. Gorgeous day, so it was perfect! I got the steak (medium) and the guava groove (cocktail). The steak was cooked right. The veges that came with it were good, and I especially like the gravy for the mash potatoes. The cocktail had a good ratio of alcohol and sweetness which were to my liking! The cheesecake was decent and nothing special. Servers were friendly.
Stopped by here and had an amazing late lunch. I was hungry for this one. I ordered a poke bowl with more salad than rice. I loved the sea weed the salmon and tuna was beyond delicious it also cane with a miso soup and i loved that as well. We also had the oysters they were pretty good but one region forgot Which one had more fragments of the shell not cool really annoying to be honest. Service was fast and easy. The ambiance during this time was great honestly quiet and intimate with really nice views.

For parking, I'd suggest parking further in once you get in the lot. The restaurant is further down than yard house. The restaurant also validates parking so I think I ended up only paying $2 for parking. The view is beautiful!!! I made reservations, and even though we were running a little bit late because of parking, they still sat us down and even accommodated our request for outside seating. They also have heaters by each table if you get cold. Highly recommend the mixed grill. Ours came with shrimp, scallop, fish (tilapia? forgot) and assorted veggies. The flavor is amazing - even on veggies!! And the seafood wasn't overcooked. The seafood linguine is a huge plate (yay leftovers). The fish and chips were alright, nothing special in my opinion. The cheese bread burger was disappointing considering how hyped I was for their cheese bread. The bread was a lot bigger than the burger meat. Downside of eating outside is the food gets cold... fast. So when the camera eats first, I ate cold food second lol. But I'm also assuming this is because the food initially wasn't hot (maybe warm) and it cooled a lot faster. Okay for special occasions, but probably wouldn't come back casually. read more

Amazing ambience and views. Situated on a peninsula in the Harbor, There are 180 degree views when seated inside. There's also outdoor seating on all sides. The garlic cheese bread was phenomenal. Extra cheesy with a slight creaminess provided by some softer type of cheese in the blend. The clam chowder was good. As was the mushroom soup of the day. All of their pastas are great with homemade noodles. The chicken entree was very good. The homemade creamed corn was excellent. The mashed potatoes were average though. Excellent bottle of Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc that was off menu. Next time I want to try the Seafood Cobb (Louie) Salad, as well as the butter cake. read more

My first time at Parker's lighthouse and the view is amazing. You can see the marina from our table. The only downside is the parking, it's tough to find parking on the weekend. Food is delicious, if you're into seafood then this is a must. read more
I've been to Parker's Lighthouse a few times, but today was the first in many years. We made reservations through Open Table and were sat within a couple minutes from arrival. We have always loved the food and atmosphere of this restaurant. Prior experiences were at dinner where its much more romantic but daytime is a whole other gorgeous scene to be had. We sat in a booth for a family of six in the downstairs dining area. We were surrounded by a beautiful scenery of the water and the majestic Queen Mary. From here on out, we will definitely keep our dining to lunch only. Just because I love the scenery. It's just an amazing view all around. Behind where we sat was the bar area, and access to outdoor dining. It was a very windy day so we chose to eat inside. Upstairs you will find additional seating and the restrooms. I am happy to report that the bathrooms were clean and very well kept. Our server, whose name I have forgotten unfortunately, was very friendly and I loved talking to her. She was very attentive to us. She used to live in Bakersfield and recently moved to the area. So I hope that the management see this and can give her a pat on the back for us. We started off with the calamari and a side salad with the red wine vinaigrette. The calamari was perfectly cooked. Seafood linguini - was very good. It was a good sized portion and came with clams, scallops and shrimp. Hubby loved this one. Lobster club sandwich - very filling! Lots of lobster, bacon, avocado. Came with fries. We really enjoyed this sandwich. Kids cavatappi pasta - with Alfredo sauce. Our kids loved the sauce. It was not your ordinary Alfredo! Kids salmon with fries - $19 which I thought was overpriced for its portion but it wasn't wasted. Kids popcorn shrimp - actually not bad. Hubby helped one of the kids eat this. My boyfriend and I came here for our anniversary and had patio seating. The ambiance was amazing, with umbrellas for the sun and later heaters when the sun set. Our waiter Ben was amazing and super attentive to us and continually checked in with us regarding our food and drinks. Ben also suggested food and drinks for our first time and didn't miss! My boyfriend had the filet mignon and it was super tender and juicy. I am picky with my salmon but enjoyed the mesquite grilled salmon, as well as the sunset roll (best sushi ever if you like spicy food). 10/10 for service and food! read more

I think yelp needs ratings by category. This place is really nice and the food i can give a 4.5. But they get a three for the service. Place was nice a little loud but not too bad. However, our waitress either didnt care to be there or didnt care to take care for us. She was nice but seemed forced. She checked on us poorly, and when we ordered i asked for a margarita with salt on the rim for my mom and when we got it it had sugar, took bout 10-15 min for her to come back and i asked her to please get a glass with salt on rim cause it was wrong she said ok brought it back and slammed the glass on the table and just walked away. The glass looked like it was dipped entirely into the salt because it all fell on the table and the watered down margarita was just poured into the salted glass. I was surprised by the experience. I need to tell the full story... because I swear - it's related. So my SO and I did a sunset beach walk and we knew we had a 6:30 reservation at Parkers'. We get in our car at 6:10. And find that we cannot move. None of the cars in the parking lot at the beach can move. We literally CAN NOT move for over 90 minutes. So I guess something happened with the traffic lights or something but over 100 people were stuck in beach parking and we couldn't go ANYWHERE. So I called Parkers' and they were so nice about it. But I expected that by the time we arrived... at 8 PM... they would turn us away. They did NOT. I was so surprised to not only be shown to a table right away, but to a fantastic table... right on the water with an amazing view. We were so hungry and thirsty after that massive traffic jam that we just were willing to order whatever our server offered... We were told that cheese bread is their special app... So YES please, bring it right away. It's OK... We were so hungry and bread with cheese - how can anyone complain about that? Our server was awesome, fast and also paced things enough to allow us to enjoy the view while knowing we were hungry. This view is OUT OF THIS WORLD. Kudos to Long Beach, a city with a fantastic gay Mayor, for the rainbow-colored lighthouse in the distance. It was enchanting watching the water taxis and other boats slide through the dark water. This is truly a special patio. They're offering two menus - their standard Parkers' menu and "A Taste of Queensview". From the latter menu, I chose several smallish plates: the crabcake, the grilled shrimp and the mac n cheese. All were quite good. The crabcake was properly formed and full of sweet crab with a lovely Lemon Beurre Blanc and a small salad served alongside. The grilled shrimp were not anything more than as advertised... fresh, simply grilled shrimp. And the Mac n cheese was probably gilding the lily - it's a big portion and maybe a little too cheesy for me (I don't think I've ever written those words)... I would have liked maybe a bit of crunch. My SO had the fish and chips, which he deemed "excellent". And he enjoyed the fries and tartar sauce - and he has very definitive opinions on tartar sauce. This was a wonderful, relaxing and romantic dinner after a harrowing trip to get there. Make sure to get your parking validated (you'll still have to pay $2 but it's better than non-validated prices for sure!). And if the line isn't too long, there are funnel cakes next door for dessert. This night definitely ended on an upswing! read more

A very enjoyable place for dinner, but the prices are definitely a little high. If you are out for a special night out and close by, however, I would definitely recommend. Location: Located a short drive away from the Queen Mary, Parker's Lighthouse is in a great location for viewing the harbor while eating out. It is also a short drive from downtown Long Beach, so it's location is quite convenient. Food: I had the seared ahi tuna and some oysters on the shell. I really liked the oysters and you could tell that they were really fresh. The seared ahi tuna was also quite good, but I felt it was lacking in flavor. If there was just a little more sauce and some more bite, it would be perfect. Price: The price for menu items was pretty high, but this might have to do with inflation and COVID-19. Service: Our server provided us with great service. Verdict: A little pricey but worth it if you want to dine out for a special occasion with a special person. read more

Stopped by this gem to try something new. The ambience is a 10/10 service was superb Lexi was AMAZING she was very informative about the menu and chefs specials. She suggested the Rockefeller oysters. Now since we were in the mood to try new things we decided to try these baked oysters. They were so delicious to the point where it surprised me and caught me off guard. Great recommendation Lexi. I especially thank you for your attention to detail by making sure our drinks were always filled touched our table a minimum of 6 times within our two hour stay to ensure our experience was pleasurable. You really give and gave great service. I also must say the hostess was very nice and suggesting her favorites as she walked us to the table. I enjoy the small talk and connections. Yum! Yum, I say! Yum! I haven't been to this place in it feels like I decade. I thought there was something about it i didn't like. Well, today's experience totally wiped out that notion. From the safe COVID precautions, to the witty and engaging competent server, to the spectacular food, just yum! We sat on the chilly patio. Cool beans, to kill COVID. And the heat lamp? Working, thank you very much. We had a Happy Hour Menu and a regular menu. I think we both ordered off the regular, even though my friend had a drink. Early Valentine's Day celebration with my Husband today (since he has to work on Wednesday Valentine's Day). He surprised me and took me to Parker's It was a beautiful day in Long Beach California today too say the least. Parker's Light House had absolutely beautiful ocean views, gazing at the Queen Mary and the lovely shoreline. Parker's is such a beautiful restaurant with great food and ambiance. The indoor and outdoor dining scene is spectacular and a perfect bar for cocktails They had a special Valentine's Day menu that included amazing selections of all kinds of delicious food and drinks Our waitress and training waiter were very friendly and knowledgeable and attentive which made us feel special! We had such yummy food from the Valentine's Day menu today It was the perfect romantic setting for our Valentine's celebration The appetizer was delicious and the entrees were mouthwatering and dessert was amazingly tasty We will definitely be back and thank you too the entire staff from the moment we arrived to the moment we left for outstanding customer service that should be applauded!!! The filet mignon and creamy mashed potatoes, perfectly cooked asparagus, and a mouthwatering, freshly cooked brownie drizzled with caramel and banana slices plus fresh walnuts, and a delicious scoop of vanilla ice cream! Great service, gorgeous location & delicious food !! I wish I would not have ordered the lobster sandwich because I prefer chunks of lobster over shredded but it was still good and even better after I asked for some aioli XD ... not pictured here is the clam chowder but I tried some of my girlfriends and it was to die for wink wink. My boyfriend and I decided to eat here and so glad we did. Let me start with a huge compliment about their service. All of the staff that assisted us were very friendly, courteous and checked on us regularly. They really hustle and provide you with a memorable dining experience. We started off with a couple of drinks. We gave "The bees knees" (a nice classic gin drink) a try. It was pretty good. The steak poutine fries appetizer was my absolute favorite. The meat is juicy and full of flavor. Cooked perfectly. This is a must at Parkers. Give them a try. They are topped with meat, cheese and the poutine which tantalized my taste buds. We also ordered the chicken which was cooked perfectly and sooooo juicy. It is served with corn and mashed potatoes. Wonderful combination. The fish and chips were also cooked to perfection. I recommend this one. It is served with french fries. The cod was also juicy and flavorful. We sat outside and have a beautiful view. It was a perfect evening. Is there valet parking or nearby parking lot?
Yes, there is nearby parking. It is pretty expensive. You have to pull a ticket. Restaurant will validate ticket to reduce cost but it isn’t free.
Thinking about my attire. Is shorts and flip flops to casual for this place?
You will be fine we were very casual when we went!
Are dogs allowed at outdoor seating? A small dog inside doggie carriage? Also, any buffet brunch?
They don't offer a buffet brunch and your dog should be fine.
How's the parking situation? Do they have their own parking lot/structure, valet?
There is a general lot for all the shops/restaurants in the area. With validation parking is $10 for a couple hours. It's not a big lot either. You may take a few laps during peak hours.
Is the patio dog friendly?
Is the menu still the same as pre covid? I know some restaurants have changed to a more limited menu..
Michelle, I dined on their opening weekend and there were no special menus. The options were quite extensive. And of course as in the past, the food was impeccable.
What's the dress code here...casual, semiformal, formal?
I visited just recently when they reopened and the dress code is casual. The staff was wonderful and not stuffy at all.
Will they have a Thanksgiving brunch?
Brunch buffet is only served twice a year. Easter and Mothers Day.
Can you make reservations?
Yes, you can make reservations. The outside patio is nice if it's not chilly.

I would call for the happy hours. And the best view is going to be the outside seating. The bar is inside.
