Everything I had was so nasty. This food was not good at all. The greens had so many steams and red bell peppers I do not eat red bell peppers. I wish I would have new this, and they had no flavor. The dressing taste like stove stopping it's was dry and had red peppers. The ribs had liquid smoke I though it was smoke in a smoker. I'll say this: the food is good. A lot better than you'd guess just by looking at it. It was quite clearly made with love. But damn if "love" ain't expensive . I suppose it's the price of doing business in Buckhead. Still, $41.10 for take-out, not including drink, is pushing it. The cobbler is about as delicious as you could ask for, so if you stop by just for dessert, you won't be disappointed in that department. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!! I was very excited after hearing the advertisements on the radio. I finally dropped in with the intent of only buying a dessert. However, I was open minded and would possibly purchase a dinner. After browsing the menu I quickly decided to only grab a dessert. Unbeknownst to me, my wife wanted a three piece fried fish dinner and greens. Total purchase $42...later my wife added drink 2 plastic bottles, close to $8, so $50. I literally would have felt better blessings someone with the $50 instead. Got to the car, "The Fish" was deplorable, basically no batter and hardly fried (grey in the center), after requesting extra crispy. The greens tasted fresh out the can, no seasoning. The cornbread roll, brick hard. The few minutes I had the dinner open stunk my Maserati up. Threw the dinner away under 10 minutes of leaving the restaurant. Next time, I'd rather go to Walmart and get a Patti peach cobbler. Definitely, should have stuck with my go to of Pappadeux. Lastly, this place is for certain palates and not for everyone. P.S. My brother and I was in the area today and had heard the commercial. It is a way over priced especially for the oxtails and we barely had any meat just a lot of bones. I heard the commercial on the radio and thought, this should be a great experience.....WRONG!! I ordered the two piece Whiting fish and when I got home I had a two piece chicken dinner. Bravo to the genius that created the commercial for this restaurant because they sure tricked us! Where was the slap your mama , down-home cooked food that they bragged about? It sure was not there. The pork chops were salty and the collards were chewy like they were chopped up and cooked for five minutes; not one speck of seasoning. The fried chicken was bloody much to our horror. Upon opening the cobbler container it was so much mushy stuff in a styrofoam cup. The atmosphere is cafeteria style with no inside dining available, which we don't mind at all. The food is expensive given the quality which is below average. Don't need the one star. Yuck! Don't go here. I tried it because I'm from Atlanta and when you see soul food spots pop up in non black areas such as buckhead you try them. The food was exceptionally good, but it is a must have that I leave a review on the customer service that I experienced today. I had an Uber eats order for the second time that was either delivered with missing food items, or the wrong food items. Last time I did not make a fuss because they exchanged the cream corn (which they never have) for cabbage but this time completely left it off of the order without replacing it (sides are 8$) . I then left work to go to the establishment and upon arrival, I spoke with an employee who insisted on talking over me instead of hearing me, customers issue. I then explained to him that I would like my food cooked over because I received my food cold & my mac & cheese was open. Another young lady came from the back very unprofessional tried to take control of the situation as if it was not already being handled by another staff member( give her an E for effort). Upon remaking my food the staff purposely made me wait for my food when it could've just been remade in given to me on the spot. It took a nice gentleman to come from the back to get some quick service when that could've been done to satisfy the customer less than three minutes but I guess because I was upset they made me wait. It seems the service completely changed when he came from the back and everyone started being nice. Not to mention when I got back home they still gave me the same mac & cheese and greens that I once had and complained about being opened and instead of four pieces of chicken they gave me three. Talk about feeling defeated!! First, I love Ryan Cameron & Steve Harvey but they need to stop advertising this high blood pressure factory in Atlanta. They, have people on every corner of the "A" flocking to this restaurant. It is possible that Ryan & Steve has zero to do with it, but it's the station they are employed by, so guilty by association, lol. I was near the area and decided to stop all because of the radio advertisement. Ordered turkey wings & rice, collard greens & mac and cheese. The first bite, I tasted an ENORMOUS AMOUNT OF SALT and it continued. This is a horrible replication of tasty & delicious soul food. I am pretty sure we all have had better. I wanted to try the strawberry red velvet cake, the cashier shook his head and said...nawl boo, that was clue number one I overlooked. The radio commercial was very catchy and drew my support. Me and my family patronized with the business today and it wasn't a pleasant experience. The food was just okay, especially for the price. It's really overpriced. The peach Cobbler was disgusting it had a gel consistency to it and it wasn't sweet. I'm all about supporting Black Owned Businesses but that's difficult when you don't receive good customer service. The young lady that works at the front is unprofessional and caught an attitude when she was questioned about the price she quoted. My mom had the pork chops, which she didn't like, the collards were not properly cooked, and unseasoned. The cornbread was way too sweet, I was wondering out loud if they used cake mix. This isn't like anything your grandmother would cook in fact it just made me wish my grandmother was still here to cook for me. We later called and complained and was told to bring the food back in order to get our refund. Also, they charge you for using your debit/credit card but they don't tell you. After hearing the radio ads this is false advertisement and NOT what I expected! Visited there on 4/23, I ordered the fried Turkey chops while they were cooked fresh they tasted like pork chops. I also got the yams and the macaroni, the yams came out of a can and while the macaroni didn't lack any cheese it lacked flavor. Not to mention the cornbread muffin straight Jiffy. Disappointed to say the least! Oh let's not forget to mention the fee for using a debit card and the 2.99 I paid for the bottled soda that i can get anywhere for less. My experience at Peach Cobbler Cafe did not go as planned..we went on Friday 4/9/21 around 4:30pm, so we were prepared to wait in a long line based on all their post on IG but to our surprise only 10 people were inside so we thought "great"..now mind you we are both in the food industry, but we are all about supporting new businesses. My friend wanted to get Oxtail (which they didn't have so she opted to get smothered Pork Chops) their version of Smothered Pork Chops is just pouring gravy on top of their fried Pork Chops. They also didn't have Black Eyed Peas, Brisket ( which I wanted so I settled for Rib Tips) they also didn't have Blueberry Cobbler..I hope they start telling the public that they don't serve everything on their menu every day because folks are driving across town for something they probably won't get and there were a few customers in front & behind us in line that were pissed when they found out they didn't have what they came up there to get and that is what is making the line much longer because now u have to have a plan B..and to top it off one of her Pork Chops was not cooked all the way thru as well a drumstick that I ordered which I had to put in the oven..Our total was over $70...Won't be returning..been living in Atlanta for almost 5yrs and still haven't found a good Soul Food Spot... read more

I am not from GA and found out about this place on the radio and the way she sound was as if the food was cooked from scratch. I am vegan and I can tastes things that are real and not from a can. We all need positive and negative feed back. So that we can stay in business. Therefore, I payed $8 for some can peach and $12 for 1/4 cup of white rice and black eyes peas (was nice) and a dry cornbread. I don't know how to put the pic on here. It was hard for me to eat it. there are foods that you can eat when you are vegan. If the Restaurant tell you the truth without an attitude. When I am hungry I tend to overlook people attitude. I will not be going back here and was not cool at all. I understand that we all need to keep living and need to keep going in our businesses just do what you say on the radio. I have never been do disappointed in all my life. After been drawn to the peach cobbler cafe from their radio advertisement. I decided to give it a try. So my homegirl treated me to a meal for my birthday. Once we reached the counter and noticed they didn't have half of the items they advertised. I had to go with another choice which lead me to get the smothered pork chops. So I asked the guy who was serving did they had any because they only had fried on the line. (This is where I almost lost my cool as a Chef). He told me that the smothered pork chops is the fried ones I see on the line, and they will pour gravy over it. WHAT.I almost feel to the floor. I said to him that's not smothered P.chops. Anyway I had to sample it before I got home. So me and homegirl decided to stop and sample. It was so so. Later on that evening when I got home I wanted the rest of my food. When I get down to the bone of the pork chop I couldn't believe my eyes.
