Authentic made to order pasta. The pesto sauce is amazing, and even the parmesan cheese is fresh shredded. Outdoor tables face on to a wide sidewalk on a quieter side street. Do your tastebuds a favor and support a locally owned business at the same time. Open 11 to 8 pm, according to temporary hours posting.

Wow! Recommended to us by a local friend, the food was delicious, the service was friendly, and the prices were reasonable. We had the chicken parm, Niçoise salad and kids pepperoni pizza, along with a side of roasted butternut squash. All was delicious, highly recommend.

Juan, the owner of the restaurant is extremely hospitable and provides amazing customer service.

When the locals visit a restaurant, it usually means it's good food. That's exactly the case with Penne Pasta Cafe. This is a small place with amazing food. The focaccia bread is totally amazing. The open face meatball sandwich and the open face egg plant Parmesan sandwich can't be missed. The taste is authentic and the portion sizes are amazing. One of the best we have had anywhere in the US. The pizza and pesto linguine were really top class. Panne Cotta was totally the icing on the cake. Some of the best we have ever had. I would recommend this place whole heartedly. Juan, the owner really serves with a sense of pride. 5/5 stars. They deserve a lot!!

Toasted focaccia with Herb blend, oil and balsamic, broccoli with toasted garlic and fettuccine alfredo.

Amazing homemade ingredients. Such a hidden gem. We had the focaccia bread, it was toasted with a Herb oil and balsamic with a Herb blend that was an absolute flavor bomb. The best I have ever had. Then we had the broccoli in olive oil with toasted garlic slices, so gooood and finished with the Alfredo, homemade pasta and sauce of course.

Fantastic outdoor cafe with excellent Italian food! Plenty of glutenfree options for pizza and pasta! And adorable setting outside by the white picket fence. Loved that I found this place so early on in my trip

Pesto pasta! It's just okay. Wouldn't go back, I think. Wish they read the comments when you order online as well.

They don't look at instructions on DoorDash, clearly. More options would be nice. The pasta was quite dry as well

It's a cute little restaurant. Baked penne pasta was delicious. But chocolate pot de creme stole the show. The mousse was so so so rich and creamy.

Food was very good and price was reasonable. Very casual, families welcome! We'll come back! Wish I'd taken a picture, but I ate it all!

Great flavors in their sauces. The pasta was overdone, tho. I would ask for the pasta al dente or freshly cooked in the future.

The food is good, but I was still hungry afterwards. That's major problems in my book. MAJOR.

The chocolate flight where you choose 9 different chocolates was self guided so not sure what that says about it being a tour. The one barista lady that was working had to ask their manager every time we asked for something if they had it. Wouldn't recommend. It's a great view though if you like that?

There was ample parking at the store where the tour left from. We took an air-conditioned sprinter van slightly up the hill to get to the land where the cocoa beans are actually grown. Our tour guide was Gabriel and he was extremely knowledgeable. After learning all about the process of growing, harvesting, and drying the cocoa beans, we got to partake in a delicious sampling in what can only be described as an adult "treehouse". With 360 panoramic views, and a wonderful breeze, we listened as Gabriel explained the various chocolates we were sampling and I thoroughly enjoyed each and everyone. Once back at the shop, we had the opportunity to purchase chocolate and also try a variety of items from their café menu if we wanted (for additional charge). All in all, the tour was a wonderful and educational experience and definitely opened my eyes to the deliciousness of the Maui Kuia Estate Chocolate.

We ordered the americanos, and they were so good -- smooth, bold, and not overly bitter. Just a clean, rich espresso flavor done right. You can tell they care about the quality of their beans and how they pull their shots. They do have a small, simple menu, which I think adds to the charm of a small town. A handful of espresso drinks, teas, and a few breakfast options like bagels and warm pastries. Not a huge selection, but everything feels intentional and well made -- quality over quantity. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the whole place has that laid-back Maui vibe where you can sit, sip, and just enjoy the moment.
