Most amazing food and ambiance! 10/10 recommend and will definitely come back! Great location too.

TLDR: Absolutely incredible food, very welcoming staff, beautiful atmosphere. In SOHO? Definitely go to Pera Soho. Not in SoHo? Make a special trip, you won't regret it. When we first arrived, we were blown away by how gorgeous the place was. It truly felt like a mediterranean paradise, but with a slight NYC flare. We were greeted by who I assume was the manager or owner; a very nice gentleman with a hand of the king pin. (If you know, you know) We ordered the octopus, crudo, phyllo rolls and watermelon salad to start. We were QUITE hungry so unfortunately no pictures. However, the art behind the plating was breathtaking. Everything was absolutely delicious!! The crudo portion was generous and very fresh, the preparation was spot on. The octopus was perfectly cooked and the sauce on top was fresh, fragrant and savory with a minimal heat. The phyllo rolls were incredible, reminded me of my childhood christmases with my Aunt's "cheese pie" but better. I only wished there was more cheese in the rolls, but that's just me being a fiend for cheese. Watermelon and heirloom tomato was so fresh it felt like it was just plucked from someone's garden. The Serrano peppers in the salad created a flavor bomb that brought the lightness of the salad to a whole different level. As a "mid-course" we shared the roasted eggplant and greek yoghurt dip. It was like a blend of baba ganoush and tzatziki sauce. I definitely recommend, it was perfectly seasoned. Somehow, after all that, we still craved more. The way all the previous dishes blew us away in creativity, taste and plating left us wanting more. So we went with the Barnegat Sound scallop entree with the pea puree. The scallops were absolutely incredible. I always know seafood on a menu with a specific location is about to blow me away. The scallops were huge and cooked to **absolute** perfection. The accoutrements were also absolute perfection! Between taste and texture, the scallop dish was something I definitely recommend! Our server, whose name I forgot to ask, was awesome. He's a younger gentleman with a beautiful tattoo on the back of his neck/base of his skull. He was very aware of what was going on at our table and anticipated our needs without even asking, even while taking care of a huge party on the other side of the restaurant. That man deserves a raise!! All in all, GO TO PERA SOHO. Can't wait to go back :) read more

I'm surprised Pera Soho only has 3 1/2 stars! I came here for restaurant week and the menu is on point! We were able to get an outside seating table and I loved the vibe. Great interior and the service was great. The only issue I have was some of the cocktails were sweet so I sticked with my go-to vodka soda ha! The food was AMAZING!! I'd definitely will come back here again. I went with 4 people including myself, so we pretty much ordered everything on the menu. It's a great place to do family style and share so you'll able to try everything on the menu! Pera Soho is one of my office's go-to spots for happy hour. I was in the area with a few people and they were looking for a good spot to sit down and grab a drink. I suggested Pera Soho and we were seated after some initial confusion with the staff. They needed the table back in about 1.5 hours, which was fine with us. I had their Apricot Margarita, which is still always my favorite drink off the Happy Hour menu. Can I also rave about how their HH menu is valid every single day? I love a week-long HH deal! My cousin tried their rose sangria, which was really delightful. It's super light and refreshing. Service was attentive and we felt taken care of - even if we were only there for HH drinks and a few bites. read more

Nice place for drinks and food. We came for Friday night dinner and place was not completely full. They had a pretty big menu with different options. Service was very attentive and friendly. Bathroom was clean. They have vegan and vegetarian options, which is pretty good. It is a little noisy though, but not horrible. It is definitely a nice place to relax and have a drink or a bite. Decent spot to go in soho for Mediterranean mezze and main plates. Most of the dishes we got were quite good. For me the menu was a bit small though. Came here for happy hour last week and I had such a great time! They have a large outdoor patio with tables spread apart with dividers. They have heated lamps which is great for this cold winter. They have a pretty decent happy hour menu. We got two mezes - the fries and the fritters which were both great! I tried the spicy cucumber drink and the apricot marg. We chose this place to come right after getting engaged and we are glad we did. It's a lively place but not too loud so you can converse and share a nice time with your company. Director of Operations Michael Florea, who was on sight that night, learned we had just gotten engaged and not only did he have some kind words but also brought us a champagne glass to celebrate our night, which was a gesture we appreciated very very much. Food was tasty and the presentation was great too; good portions and the service from all servers was genuinely nice (we love when a server knows the menu and can speak on it confidently, which we also noticed). Came here on a Sunday and it was finally a nice day out to enjoy outdoor seating for once! They have a nice huge outdoor patio with tables spread out far apart enough with clear barriers between as well. +1 star for safety. We didn't have a reservation but was able to be seated instantly. The host also gave us options which is always thoughtful. It was super sunny so we chose the one in the shade, but it was fine because although it was chilly, there was a heater. +1 star for accommodations DRINK: the apricot margarita was just the right amount of sweet and tartness. super light and refreshing with the heavy food that I ordered. I may or may not have had three. +1 star FOOD: I had the smoked pork belly biscuit benedict which was superrrrr filling. it came with potatoes and a simple salad. the poached eggs where 100% perfect. self-explanatory. I ate the whole thing. I also ordered the portuguese calamari which was SO GOOD because calamari is always a good idea. it came with spicy mayo. but what really stole the show was the pickled peppers that came with it. YUMMMM. that + calamari + spicy mayo = the perfect bite. +1 star I may get called out for this, but imma keep it real. my friend accidentally spilled his drink, basically right after he got it. the server saw what was happening but still took a while to come help clean up to mess and decided he needed to finish putting settings on tables that had no one seated at them. after, I was hoping that maybe he would offer to replace my friend's drink for free, but that didn't happen. oh well. still a good experience nonetheless. read more

Went to Pera on a Sunday afternoon for brunch. We did not have a reservation and was worried that the wait would be bad, but the host got us in within 15 minutes or so. We sat in the outdoors patio, and the decoration and set-up was absolutely gorgeous, with tons of greenery. Waitress was lovely and attentive to the party. I got the shashuka, which was pretty good! The eggs were cooked just right -- not too hard or undercooked, and the tomato base was seasoned well. The presentation was nice, although the serving was relatively small. Others in my party got burgers and fries, which were apparently not the best -- quite dry and poorly seasoned. We also got the drink pitchers -- serving was definitely smaller than expected, but pretty tasty. Overall, while the venue itself was nice to be in, I don't think I will return. read more

I came here on a Friday night with a party of 4 and we made a reservation in advance but had to move it last minute and the restaurant was so accommodating! We requested the outdoor seating in their heated patio and it was absolutely beautiful. The lights were dim, the decor was so thoughtful and it really felt like we were transported outside of NYC! The service was insanely fast. They brought our drinks and meals out in less than 15 minutes! I ordered a dry martini and the chicken shashlik. The quantity, as you can see, was huge! I loved that there was rice, pita, salad and so much chicken. Normally restaurants have you order rice or pita separately. The chicken was a little dry but still flavored nicely. The prices were also so reasonable for the quantity and the ambiance. The waitress even brought me a blanket since I was a little cold! I will definitely be back to this restaurant. read more

Had a great experience at Pera Soho! On one of the most sweltering days of the summer the staff greeted us warmly and never faltered from their warm service even when we asked to change tables to sit by the portable AC units they thoughtfully put by the beautiful bar. The bar was overflowing with a beautiful flower arrangement, super comfy chairs, lumbar pillows and little poofs for our handbags. In addition to the beautiful surroundings, the food was top notch. It was pretty warm so we ordered just the Mediterranean dip sampler and "kofte" meatballs to accompany our drinks. The servers were knowledgable in explaining anything we were unfamiliar with and the presentation was as pleasing as the flavors. I will definitely be back! read more

When a restaurant delivers on so many levels, it's like hitting a home run. Located in Soho, one of my favorite Manhattan 'hoods, my friend suggested Pera Soho for brunch. I could not be more pleased. Gorgeous patio/outdoor seating? (accommodating any number of patrons including large parties)---Check Attentive service? Check Water glasses always refilled promptly Delicious food? Check Since it was my first visit, I was indecisive what to select since I was steering away from carbs (and alcohol) on this given day. They will also accommodate requests to meet any dietary restrictions. My friend chose a beef burger with fries and really enjoyed her selection. I was intrigued with the shakshuka eggs which was poached eggs in tomato sauce, soujouk, kasseri cheese, scallions, lavash chips. I learned that soujouk was a type of beef meatball but since I don't eat beef, I asked for it to be eliminated. Their food is Mediterranean in style and i would love to return for dinner some time. The indoor space was just as gorgeous as the outdoor. There was also a brunch pre-fixe option which included a cocktail and a main for $25. Pretty good deal. My opinion of the main I chose was one of satisfaction. I enjoyed the combination of scallions and the chips integrated in the tomato sauce complementing the poached eggs. My only observation was that it was a bit loose or saucy and I'm sure it was due to the absence of the meatballs. Despite this, I really enjoyed my brunch meal accompanied by a delicious iced coffee. Prices are about moderate-high (most likely dinner entrees) but also indicative of the neighborhood and gorgeous ambiance. It certainly seemed to be quite the crowd pleaser today. We had a private cocktail reception at Pera Soho, renting out the garden, the bar area, and the balcony. The setting was beautiful - no need for our own decorations - and the managers and wait staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. They helped to make the evening successful, easy and fun. The drinks were perfect, everyone loved the apricot margarita, and the food delicious. I would very highly recommend Pera Soho for any private event. read more

The environment of this place was amazing! When we first showed up for our reservation, we were not greeted with the best service by the host. But we were soon allowed to have a seat on the patio. The environment was beautiful and spacious- apart from the small bugs flying around, I would say this is one of the most beautiful spots in SoHo! The food and drinks were not too bad! The flavor and quality were not exceptional, especially as prices were a bit on the pricey end. The service was fine here, however our experience did start off negatively as we were greeted rudely and consistently rushed throughout dinner. I still give this place 4 stars based on the setting.
