Redfish and shrimp ceviche were great, maybe two crackers vs one, but great app. Had tuna sushi sashimi in a ponzu it was good.. Two red wines were very good, sorry forgot names one was from Paso Robles. Okay, so for dinner we ordered the Chateuabriand. There were three of us, and it was enough and more the Demi glaze on a perfectly cooked medium rare filet sliced .25-.5 inch thick was cooked perfectly and it was amazing. We took 3 pieces home with broccolini and gratin potato's for breakfast. The potato's are good but enough for like 6 people. Upon arrival, we were upset to find out that reserved tables don't come with a view, even though the restaurant is always booked a month out! Walk-ins were given the tables outside with the view, while we were inside without one. I can see how air conditioning could seem like the better option for some, however, we were expecting to see the beautiful water. Would have been nice to have the option, as we would not have made a reservation otherwise! We got the Strawberry Dreamin', which was absolutely delicious! That was followed by Jalapeño scallops that were really good, but only 2 came on the small plate. We ordered the Lobster platter to share for our main course. While the Yaki Soba noodles were probably the best I have ever had, the Lobster tail was burnt! The other pieces were great, however, the largest and best part of the lobster was honestly barely edible. My husband finished his portion, only because of the price we paid for it, but I couldn't force myself to eat anymore of it. You would expect that quality of seafood to be cooked to perfection, but ultimately, we were let down. On top of that, our service was lacking. Our waitress immediately saw that we were a younger couple and completely changed her demeanor when she came over to our table. This also resulted in basically being ignored the remainder of our time at the restaurant, as 2 other tables with older couples sat down after us. Overall, would definitely get the Yaki Soba noodles to-go if that was offered, but wouldn't recommend making reservations for this restaurant to family or friends. My family and I came late on a weeknight. We were seated at the bar in about 20 minutes, but it was at the end of tourist season. After hearing so many good things about this place, I was really excited to try it, but sadly, I was disappointed. We ordered the spicy grilled octopus, the scallop bruschetta, the tuna rolls, the fish of the day, and the whole roasted lobster. Upon glancing at the menu, I saw that there was a lot of asian inspired menu items. As someone who grew up eating authentic asian food, I typically steer away from "asian inspired" restaurants--especially if the chefs aren't studied in it. This place is a perfect example of why I avoid those kinds of restaurants. The whole roasted lobster was the Market Price of $180 on the evening that we ate here. It took about 45 minutes after ordering to come out. When it was served, the presentation looked nice and the lobster was cooked well--I actually quite enjoyed the roasted taste of it. The one thing I could not stand was the noodles underneath. They were way too sweet (seriously, why does every Americanized "asian" restaurant put so much sugar in their sauces???), and they were also just soooo sad. I could've made better noodles myself for $2. I was expecting a spicy butter to glaze the lobster too, but I didn't get any of that. The lady next to us even had to order a separate dish of butter to dip her lobster in. As for the other smaller dishes, they were below average. The spicy grilled octopus was just fine, I've much better elsewhere, the tuna rolls were just fine, and the scallop on the scallop bruschetta was good, but small. Overall, the food scene in 30a is not a good one, but this spot doesn't measure up to the low bar that is already set. read more

A party of 6 on a Friday night at 6ish....sat in the bar area, hot and sticky. Music was way too loud for such a small room. Waiter was johnny on the spot for our first round, but as soon as some of us stopped drinking waiting for a cheese plate to arrive, our waiter also stopped coming by. No refills on water. When the cheese plate did arrive, there was barely anything on the plate. a hunk of hard cheese that wasn't cut and no silverware was offered to cut or spread the other cheese (brie). Bill was left on table before our food was even there. Perhaps sitting in the restaurant would have been better, but for the prices....one expects better attention to detail. My boyfriend and I decided to eat a few starters rather than getting an entrée and I am so glad we did. We enjoyed the complementary bread service, a starter Caesar salad, the charred octopus and my absolute favorite, the clams and mussels dish. The flavor was immaculate. Shamona at the hostess stand was incredibly rude. We put our names down for a table at 5:30pm for the rooftop. She put down the wrong phone number and never confirmed a text with us, even after we checked in twice in person. She immediately gave away our table after 10 minutes of us "running late" to the reservation and completely disregarded the situation with no apology. We made do with appetizers in the waiting area and tried to make the most of a longer wait. The servers were polite, however shamona kept telling us we were next in line while the time kept passing. After over two hours and us checking frequently and continuing to be disregarded, she became defensive as we tried to work with her to get a table estimate time. We appreciate the atmosphere and service (amazing) however the hostess ruined our evening and experience with pescado that we will now not be returning to or recommending. By the time we were left with the only option to go to another restaurant to eat at a reasonable hour it had been a three hour experience. read more

Next time I would almost risk walking up around 4:45 for a later meal time. Views were stunning but it was pouring down rain when we got there so we opted for an inside table. Beautiful decor and still could see rooftops from the side windows. Our waitress was very friendly and provided good service. I will start by saying our server was great - down to earth, friendly and knowledgeable. Food was delicious and drinks were fine, but there isnt much else I can say good about Pescado. Don't plan a celebration here. I made reservations as soon as I booked our Airbnb stay at the recommendation of our host 60 days out. We came to 30A to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary and she said Pescado would be the perfect place to go. I confirmed the dinner plans the day prior online and again noted that we were celebrating an anniversary. I called the night prior to ask for a nice place to sit. I was told pretty abruptly that nothing was guaranteed. We arrived 10 minutes prior to our scheduled 5:00 pm reservation, so not "prime" dining time. We walked in and noticed the dining area was empty.... The host walked us passed the dining room to high top tables in the bar area. It was loud and not at all what we had expected for our dinner. When we asked if we could move to the dining room, he seemed annoyed and said he had to check if there was space. THE DINING ROOM WAS EMPTY. He offered a table on the balcony (mind you - it was 100+ degrees outside, heat index was 115! ) or a table in the dining room. We chose the table offered, but it was by the door leading outside! There was a table for two in the corner, furthest spot from the balcony, but that table wasn't offered. Like I said, the host who sat us seemed annoyed we asked to be moved. Not sure if it was just a bad night for him. We chose the table inside but it was pointless. My chair was approx 5 feet from the door and it was propped open the entire time we were there. While we ate, two additional parties of 4 were seated, but they were on the opposite side of the room. My dinner experience was awful. I am a FL native. I know it's hot here. So heat does not bother me. I don't mind sweating while I am on the beach, running or riding my bike. I don't mind sweating walking from my car into a building. But it is quite annoying when I am sitting in an expensive restaurant trying to celebrate a milestone and the staff which is there to create a dining experience simply doesn't care. When I asked our server if the door would be closed, she could see my disappointment (and sweat on my face) and tried to adjust a portable unit attached to the window, but we weren't sitting close enough for it to make any difference. Reservation was scheduled for 2 hours.....we were out in less than 1. Our server offered a complimentary cocktail for our anniversary, but we kindly declined. We left and grabbed ice cream down the road, where the service was outstanding and staff was thrilled to have us there. Save your special night for someplace else. read more

Pescado came highly recommended on our panhandle excursion and it did not disappoint. I have to say I may try to come here more hungry because the entré plates looked spectacular. A whole fish a whole lobster a whole cow, it all looked good. We, the other hand, started with a cheese plate that may have been my favorite thing I had there. I made many little cracker sandwiches with the patè and honey and stinky cheeses and fruit. Super good. We also got the scallops and my girlfriend loved the risotto that went with them. This is the epitome of a well-run restaurant: servers that genuinely love people, a rotating menu with fresh seafood fare, and solid cocktails. We were blown away! We went during high season but were told it can book a month in advance or have 3 hour waits during warm season, so take note! Delicious, albeit a bit strong on the truffle bean sauce. My salmon was incredible and the apple fennel sauce was completely sensational. My husband has the steak and it was also good. Triple bacon Mac was creamy and piping hot, delicious as well. Yuzu cheesecake? Rich and decadent... totally unexpected. The only reason I don't rate 5 stars is most of the dishes were a tad saltier than i like, but my husband thought everything was perfectly seasoned. Our experience was incredible overall. it took over an hour to receive our appetizers as there was a clear miscommunication between the wait staff and kitchen. as we had 2 young kids this was very difficult. however the poor experience was driven by the managers lack of accountability as he tried blame us wanting our appetizers and entrees spread out. when you are the first tables of the day (9:45 am reservation as we needed to be home for naps for the kids) and we watch multiple people get their food, eat and leave; we found it rather insulting the manager attempted to pass the blame on us which is a clear reflection on the overall establishment and tone for customer treatment. we would highly recommend going elsewhere as this is the only place it takes an hour to receive a kids grill cheese and the only place that then blames the customer. read more
