Upon arrival, we were on a wait and placed in a random side room to enjoy drinks and appetizers but the second they came out we were ushered upstairs. Up to this point we had three different "servers" check in with us, but no one was on the same page. The nicest guy was the newest guy. Once upstairs, we were seated and our menus were taken from us despite asking if we could keep them. The rationale was to enjoy our drinks and (now cold) appetizer, but I have never experienced this before and we were perfectly fine with them. Waiter touched the top of one of my friends straw with his hands to transfer it to a new cup, and when she asked for a new drink (it was water) because he did that, he had SUCH an attitude about it. When I asked for the waiter's recommendation, he was clearly annoyed already, and proceeded to coldly answer "Im not the one eating." And gave no other guidance. His assistant was so quiet and sweet, but he yanked things out of her hand as she was setting things down for us so he could do it. Etc. etc. We wanted to stay for dessert (aka spend more money here) but were so over being treated so poorly that we left. read more

We LOVED our time at Pescado! The sticky ribs were amazing! As was the cheese board. However, no way on the Pâté. Not my fave. The cocktails were all amazing, too. Loved the espresso martini and pequeño tipo. Summer was our server - sweet, attentive and hospitable. We sat on the patio which I'm sure has such a lovely view - but, big bummer, it was obstructed by a rain awning and we could only see plastic. The ambiance is really what makes this restaurant! The views are gorgeous, and the interior fits the beachy vibe so well. It was a little more casual than I expected, but I honestly preferred that. It wasn't stuffy or pretentious. Our server, Summer, was wonderful. We wanted to grab drinks and then slowly get apps and our dinner to enjoy our time there. She didn't rush us or make us feel like we were inconveniencing her or moving too slow, which I really appreciated! Their drinks were fantastic, we were alcoholed-out from the beach all day so ordered a mocktail (the princess peach) and it was delicious. Summer suggested the tuna rolls for an appetizer and oh my goodness you HAVE to try those! They weren't what we expected but were absolutely delicious. We had a Caesar to split and then I got the bucatini and my husband got the pork chop. The pork chop was decent but it was outshined by all the other delicious food. Love the upstairs/ downstairs combination. The food is amazing and the fish so fresh it doesn't need much seasoning. Ceviche was to die for and the star of the meal. The bone marrow/carpaccio combo wasn't the best( bone marrow needs more roasting to get that char and flavor and the meat on top was not flavorful). Fantastic drinks to start off our meal, the Brit Berry. We ended up sharing the seafood salad appetizer. It was very fresh and tasty. For our main course, we splurged and shared the Cantonese lobster! It could easily feed three or four people. The noodles were delicious and the lobster was good. I was visiting Florida and decided to try this place. I tried the seafood salad first. The Seafood salad was good. Had a really good flavor and the food was fresh but lacking the avocado it was suppose to bring and something else that I don't remember. Maybe a bit over priced for the size but quality and taste were good. I then tried the Asian bbq ribs with rice and a flat egg and also got a side of macaroni. All of it was very good. The ribs tasted great and the rice with flat egg was a good combo. The macaroni was phenomenal. Three layers of cheese, very creamy and it hit the spot. Service was great and everything came out fast. I definitely appreciate the portion sizes compared to previous pictures I see on here from other reviews. I would of been upset if I received those portions for the prices you guys charge. So thanks for fixing that. It's definitely pricey but it's a good meal. I'll be back next time im in town. My friends and I went to Pescado for Sunday brunch before leaving Rosemary Beach. We had reservations for when they opened at 10 and were seated very quickly and efficiently for a party of 10. The staff was sooo knowledgeable, nice, and accommodating. Though we were sitting inside, they invited us to step onto the patio to check out the beautiful morning view of the beach. And it was truly beautiful! For my meal, I ordered the challah French toast, breakfast potatoes, and Nueske's bacon. The French toast had good flavor and the mascarpone and poached pear complemented it very well! However, I wish it would've been a bit more done in the middle, so I only ate the outer part of it. The breakfast potatoes were delicious and so was the bacon, though I wish it would've been cooked longer so it wasn't as flimsy. There was an extra order of scrambled eggs at the table, so I tasted them and they were easily some of the best eggs I've ever had...and I don't even like eggs lol. There was also a live band playing in the corner of the dining room. Great atmosphere and vibe for Sunday brunch! All in all, I enjoyed Pescado and will have to come back the next time I visit Rosemary Beach. What a GEM! We get to the area several times per year and are so happy to have this upscale (but not fussy) place within walking distance-- especially handy so we can enjoy those delicious martinis! Tatyana and the crew behind the bar are creative, personable and efficient. They have made some fabulous suggestions for craft cocktails and food that I may not have tried otherwise. The vibe is chic and upscale but comfortable and the view is beautiful. We have been on three occasions so far and always sat at the bar but want to make it a point to enjoy a full dinner next time - we just always had such great service from the bar team -- why mess with perfection? (And a weird thing! I ordered an espresso martini and Tatyana was decorating it with chocolate drizzle. Worst restaurant experience ever! Finally got food after over two hours. They even forgot our appetizer so we sat and drank the entire bottle of wine before our food even came. We were given no explanation, no apologies, just excuses and even were gaslit about what we were expecting. Food finally arrived room temp and chewy fish and steak. They even put on a show by bringing the plates out with hot pad holders, but we touched them and they weren't even warm. Such a great spot in Rosemary! I'm so glad we decided to come here. We couldn't make a reservation for the rooftop so we came by and put our name down and waited in the downstairs bar until a table was ready. It wasn't too long of a wait and when called we went up the elevator to the restaurant. I loved the atmosphere and decor in the indoor area. I wouldn't have been upset had we needed to sit inside. Luckily we got a table at the edge of the rooftop and could see a beautiful view of the town. We got some wine and I ordered the lamb pasta. Each of us really loved what we ordered. As a Panhandle native with family in the area and a frequent visitor to 30A, we have enjoyed this place a couple of times. We have ordered lots of small plates and charcuterie. Bonus point for making mocktails, as I can't drink, and alcohol-free drinks are a big trend nationwide. Glad to see it in little Rosemary Beach. Our last server saw us masked up (my partner is a transplant physician that works with COVID patients, and I'm a cancer patient) and told us she'd put one on if we preferred. We did, so she got a massive tip, as opposed to just our normally very generous tip. ;) She was friendly and prompt, and that was kind and caring of her. Our family was very excited to make this reservation because the menu looked great. When we first arrived, there were 4 people completely overwhelmed surrounding an iPad. We backed off and they kept asking us to forfeit the reservation instead of seating us... The tone and body language of the waiters/waitresses were rude and we were under the impression that they just wanted to turn over tables quickly. It is unfortunate that we had to walk out of the restaurant saying goodbye with the host and manager glued to their iPads. This attitude comes from the top management down... they have a great view that minimal people can see, mediocre food, and lousy customer service. Went for Pescado today for brunch and it did not disappoint! We sat at the bar while waiting for a table, and the view outside is beautiful. It's under an awning so you are never in the direct sun. My husband had a Bloody Mary which came with a grilled shrimp, bacon and olive skewer. It was super delicious and not too spicy. My mimosa was good - but overpriced at $12 (but hey, it's 30a. Everything is overpriced). We shared the chocolate chip pancakes which were fluffy and delicious, topped with a broiled banana. The eggs on the side were perfectly scrambled, and our side of roasted potatoes were everything you wanted in a roasted potato - crispy on the outside and super creamy in the middle. The other members of our dining party got the simple breakfast, which they also said was cooked perfectly, and the salmon plate which came with a huge bagel on the side and would likely be enough to share. Our server was super pleasant and checked on us multiple times. There was live music that was nice but not in your face. All in all a perfect place to brunch on a Sunday! We normally make reservations for every night when we come, but it's coming to an end. Unfortunately, the menu has deteriorated over the years. In the spirit of keeping the menu "fresh" and "fancy", the best tasting items like the Korean BBQ ribs, paella, mac & cheese have been completely removed or replaced by more "complex" substitutes that are less tasty. Today we went both for brunch and dinner and were very disappointed. For brunch, the omelette was over cooked and lacking in taste. For dinner, the beef short rib was dry and chewy. We shared some feedback with the server and hope that improvements will be made. Yes, if you don't want to wait a long time, you must have a reservation at least in summer.
