Pescado came highly recommended on our panhandle excursion and it did not disappoint. I have to say I may try to come here more hungry because the entré plates looked spectacular. A whole fish a whole lobster a whole cow, it all looked good. We, the other hand, started with a cheese plate that may have been my favorite thing I had there. I made many little cracker sandwiches with the patè and honey and stinky cheeses and fruit. Super good. We also got the scallops and my girlfriend loved the risotto that went with them. I will start by saying our server was great - down to earth, friendly and knowledgeable. Food was delicious and drinks were fine, but there isnt much else I can say good about Pescado. Don't plan a celebration here. I made reservations as soon as I booked our Airbnb stay at the recommendation of our host 60 days out. We came to 30A to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary and she said Pescado would be the perfect place to go. I confirmed the dinner plans the day prior online and again noted that we were celebrating an anniversary. I called the night prior to ask for a nice place to sit. I was told pretty abruptly that nothing was guaranteed. We arrived 10 minutes prior to our scheduled 5:00 pm reservation, so not "prime" dining time. We walked in and noticed the dining area was empty.... The host walked us passed the dining room to high top tables in the bar area. It was loud and not at all what we had expected for our dinner. When we asked if we could move to the dining room, he seemed annoyed and said he had to check if there was space. THE DINING ROOM WAS EMPTY. He offered a table on the balcony (mind you - it was 100+ degrees outside, heat index was 115! ) or a table in the dining room. We chose the table offered, but it was by the door leading outside! There was a table for two in the corner, furthest spot from the balcony, but that table wasn't offered. Like I said, the host who sat us seemed annoyed we asked to be moved. Not sure if it was just a bad night for him. We chose the table inside but it was pointless. My chair was approx 5 feet from the door and it was propped open the entire time we were there. While we ate, two additional parties of 4 were seated, but they were on the opposite side of the room. My dinner experience was awful. I am a FL native. I know it's hot here. So heat does not bother me. I don't mind sweating while I am on the beach, running or riding my bike. I don't mind sweating walking from my car into a building. But it is quite annoying when I am sitting in an expensive restaurant trying to celebrate a milestone and the staff which is there to create a dining experience simply doesn't care. When I asked our server if the door would be closed, she could see my disappointment (and sweat on my face) and tried to adjust a portable unit attached to the window, but we weren't sitting close enough for it to make any difference. Reservation was scheduled for 2 hours.....we were out in less than 1. Our server offered a complimentary cocktail for our anniversary, but we kindly declined. We left and grabbed ice cream down the road, where the service was outstanding and staff was thrilled to have us there. Save your special night for someplace else. read more

One of the best meals I've had in a long time. Yelp, you didn't steer us wrong! This is the epitome of a well-run restaurant: servers that genuinely love people, a rotating menu with fresh seafood fare, and solid cocktails. We were blown away! Only thing - expect to spend a pretty penny here. They're going to give top-of-the-line service, foods, and you'll pay for it. Expect to spend $50-75pp, so make it special. We went during high season but were told it can book a month in advance or have 3 hour waits during warm season, so take note! Otherwise I've heard there's a great outdoor patio to watch the sunset. read more

Wow. I'd heard great things about this restaurant but it exceeded my expectations. Tried octopus for the first time and was pleasantly surprised, so good. Scallops were like butter. Delicious, albeit a bit strong on the truffle bean sauce. My salmon was incredible and the apple fennel sauce was completely sensational. My husband has the steak and it was also good. Triple bacon Mac was creamy and piping hot, delicious as well. Yuzu cheesecake? Rich and decadent... totally unexpected. The only reason I don't rate 5 stars is most of the dishes were a tad saltier than i like, but my husband thought everything was perfectly seasoned. Our experience was incredible overall. We almost didn't get a table due to waitlist being closed for a bit, but I'm so glad we did. We will be back!! read more

Atmosphere, great. Food, delish. Service, confusing and rude. Upon arrival, we were on a wait and placed in a random side room to enjoy drinks and appetizers but the second they came out we were ushered upstairs. Up to this point we had three different "servers" check in with us, but no one was on the same page. The nicest guy was the newest guy. Once upstairs, we were seated and our menus were taken from us despite asking if we could keep them. The rationale was to enjoy our drinks and (now cold) appetizer, but I have never experienced this before and we were perfectly fine with them. Waiter touched the top of one of my friends straw with his hands to transfer it to a new cup, and when she asked for a new drink (it was water) because he did that, he had SUCH an attitude about it. When I asked for the waiter's recommendation, he was clearly annoyed already, and proceeded to coldly answer "Im not the one eating." And gave no other guidance. His assistant was so quiet and sweet, but he yanked things out of her hand as she was setting things down for us so he could do it. Etc. etc. We wanted to stay for dessert (aka spend more money here) but were so over being treated so poorly that we left. read more

We LOVED our time at Pescado! The sticky ribs were amazing! As was the cheese board. However, no way on the Pâté. Not my fave. The cocktails were all amazing, too. Loved the espresso martini and pequeño tipo. Summer was our server - sweet, attentive and hospitable. We sat on the patio which I'm sure has such a lovely view - but, big bummer, it was obstructed by a rain awning and we could only see plastic. Shamona at the hostess stand was incredibly rude. We put our names down for a table at 5:30pm for the rooftop. She put down the wrong phone number and never confirmed a text with us, even after we checked in twice in person. She immediately gave away our table after 10 minutes of us "running late" to the reservation and completely disregarded the situation with no apology. We made do with appetizers in the waiting area and tried to make the most of a longer wait. The servers were polite, however shamona kept telling us we were next in line while the time kept passing. After over two hours and us checking frequently and continuing to be disregarded, she became defensive as we tried to work with her to get a table estimate time. We appreciate the atmosphere and service (amazing) however the hostess ruined our evening and experience with pescado that we will now not be returning to or recommending. By the time we were left with the only option to go to another restaurant to eat at a reasonable hour it had been a three hour experience. read more

Service and atmosphere was amazing, but food was not great. Ordered the pasta with mussels and the sauce didn't have any flavor. Not even sure if there was any sauce even on it. Had brunch with the family yesterday. AmaZing experience. Great food and charming decor. The views Are fantastic and they even had live music that was not overwhelming but perfect in the space. We had the spicy garlic shrimp, smoked salmon dish and the lemon pancakes. Plenty of food for a great price and it was delicious. I highly recommend this spot. The bone marrow/carpaccio combo wasn't the best( bone marrow needs more roasting to get that char and flavor and the meat on top was not flavorful). Fantastic drinks to start off our meal, the Brit Berry. We ended up sharing the seafood salad appetizer. It was very fresh and tasty. For our main course, we splurged and shared the Cantonese lobster! It could easily feed three or four people. The noodles were delicious and the lobster was good. The only complaint would be that the lobster was slightly tough, so 4 instead of 5 stars. Overall, a wonderful meal with stellar service. read more

I was visiting Florida and decided to try this place. I tried the seafood salad first. The Seafood salad was good. Had a really good flavor and the food was fresh but lacking the avocado it was suppose to bring and something else that I don't remember. Maybe a bit over priced for the size but quality and taste were good. I then tried the Asian bbq ribs with rice and a flat egg and also got a side of macaroni. All of it was very good. The ribs tasted great and the rice with flat egg was a good combo. The macaroni was phenomenal. Three layers of cheese, very creamy and it hit the spot. Service was great and everything came out fast. I definitely appreciate the portion sizes compared to previous pictures I see on here from other reviews. I would of been upset if I received those portions for the prices you guys charge. So thanks for fixing that. It's definitely pricey but it's a good meal. I'll be back next time im in town. My friends and I went to Pescado for Sunday brunch before leaving Rosemary Beach. We had reservations for when they opened at 10 and were seated very quickly and efficiently for a party of 10. The staff was sooo knowledgeable, nice, and accommodating. Though we were sitting inside, they invited us to step onto the patio to check out the beautiful morning view of the beach. And it was truly beautiful! For my meal, I ordered the challah French toast, breakfast potatoes, and Nueske's bacon. The French toast had good flavor and the mascarpone and poached pear complemented it very well! However, I wish it would've been a bit more done in the middle, so I only ate the outer part of it. The breakfast potatoes were delicious and so was the bacon, though I wish it would've been cooked longer so it wasn't as flimsy. There was an extra order of scrambled eggs at the table, so I tasted them and they were easily some of the best eggs I've ever had...and I don't even like eggs lol. There was also a live band playing in the corner of the dining room. Great atmosphere and vibe for Sunday brunch! All in all, I enjoyed Pescado and will have to come back the next time I visit Rosemary Beach. The staff told us we should come back in the evening for sunset because the patio view is even more beautiful! read more

What a GEM! We get to the area several times per year and are so happy to have this upscale (but not fussy) place within walking distance-- especially handy so we can enjoy those delicious martinis! Tatyana and the crew behind the bar are creative, personable and efficient. They have made some fabulous suggestions for craft cocktails and food that I may not have tried otherwise. The vibe is chic and upscale but comfortable and the view is beautiful. We have been on three occasions so far and always sat at the bar but want to make it a point to enjoy a full dinner next time - we just always had such great service from the bar team -- why mess with perfection? (And a weird thing! I ordered an espresso martini and Tatyana was decorating it with chocolate drizzle. Such a great spot in Rosemary! I'm so glad we decided to come here. We couldn't make a reservation for the rooftop so we came by and put our name down and waited in the downstairs bar until a table was ready. It wasn't too long of a wait and when called we went up the elevator to the restaurant. I loved the atmosphere and decor in the indoor area. I wouldn't have been upset had we needed to sit inside. Luckily we got a table at the edge of the rooftop and could see a beautiful view of the town. We got some wine and I ordered the lamb pasta. Each of us really loved what we ordered. The pasta was cooked perfectly and had a great flavor to it. The service was great and the outdoor area was such a nice place to spend our last dinner in town. I highly recommend it! read more

As a Panhandle native with family in the area and a frequent visitor to 30A, we have enjoyed this place a couple of times. We have ordered lots of small plates and charcuterie. Bonus point for making mocktails, as I can't drink, and alcohol-free drinks are a big trend nationwide. Glad to see it in little Rosemary Beach. Our last server saw us masked up (my partner is a transplant physician that works with COVID patients, and I'm a cancer patient) and told us she'd put one on if we preferred. We did, so she got a massive tip, as opposed to just our normally very generous tip. ;) She was friendly and prompt, and that was kind and caring of her. it took over an hour to receive our appetizers as there was a clear miscommunication between the wait staff and kitchen. as we had 2 young kids this was very difficult. however the poor experience was driven by the managers lack of accountability as he tried blame us wanting our appetizers and entrees spread out. when you are the first tables of the day (9:45 am reservation as we needed to be home for naps for the kids) and we watch multiple people get their food, eat and leave; we found it rather insulting the manager attempted to pass the blame on us which is a clear reflection on the overall establishment and tone for customer treatment. we would highly recommend going elsewhere as this is the only place it takes an hour to receive a kids grill cheese and the only place that then blames the customer. read more

Our family was very excited to make this reservation because the menu looked great. When we first arrived, there were 4 people completely overwhelmed surrounding an iPad. We backed off and they kept asking us to forfeit the reservation instead of seating us... The tone and body language of the waiters/waitresses were rude and we were under the impression that they just wanted to turn over tables quickly. It is unfortunate that we had to walk out of the restaurant saying goodbye with the host and manager glued to their iPads. This attitude comes from the top management down... they have a great view that minimal people can see, mediocre food, and lousy customer service. To dine at Pescado is an experience. I had the pleasure of having their Sunday brunch here. It is a beautiful restaurant with gorgeous views of 30a from their second floor where we dined from. Our group enjoyed their mimosas. I ordered the omelette and pancakes which did not disappoint. The highlight of the experience was the creme brûlée which was phenomenal. When visiting 30a, dining at Pescado is a must. read more
