My daughter's favorite place. She took the hubs and I out tonight. It was so good. Their menu is extensive. Since my daughter has been here I took her suggestions. She loves the vegetarian bowl, but with beef broth. I got the same, but added raw steak. Loved all the veggies and the steak cooked nicely in the hot broth. When our bowls came I thought I made a mistake and didn't order a small. Yes I did. It was just a really nice size small. Hubs didn't get pho and I don't remember what he got. He did get a Vietnamese coffee. We all had a sip. It was really good. read more

Never ever get to go on hot items. I ordered egg rolls to go and when I got home I saw holes in my plastic container. I open it and notice the egg rolls burned right through the container. They need to put a foil or something so it doesn't melt the plastic. So fkn careless. I'm sure if they were eating it themselves they would take care of it better. I threw the whole shit away. Don't want to get cancer or poison from the plastic!! Fkn idiots! I call later and they did not offer me any refund. No more ordering from them! read more

I have been back several times. The best bahn mi sandwiches in Sacramento. Unfortunately this place was shut down for a couple of days by the health department. Infestation of roaches and no temp controls for the food. I won't be going back. read more

I really love the broth here! It has a subtle creaminess to it; they must boil it with a lot of beef/bones. My one complaint is that the server can hardly ever understand me. I normally order pho with only tendon and brisket, but each time he stares at me in confusion. At least the order always comes out right! I've had the egg rolls here as well, and they are seriously to die for! They're perfectly crispy and the inside is soft and tasty.. mmm. Get them! Their boba drinks are super good as well! We got a passion fruit tea, and it was very refreshing--not too sweet! Turns out a different server accidentally dropped off a coffee at our table. She came back a minute later and said sorry and moved it over to the next table. I'd be upset if I was receiving a drink that was dropped off at another table.. While I do enjoy the pho here, I probably won't be back due to the lack of customer service. read more

We were in the mood for some Asian cuisine and decided that we would try this place since it's just down the street for us! Maybe it just was us being unlucky... but our food unfortunately did not taste good. We got some egg rolls, chow mein, rice & orange chicken and some small sides. With boba drinks included it all came out to $70 for pickup. I really wish I could give more starts but not only did both of our entrees taste bad, even the egg rolls tasted off and for the price it really wasn't worth it at all. read more

I paid extra for shrimp for my pho soup and this is what they gave me, one freakin shrimp. This is not what I expected from this establishment. I will definitely not be eating at this establishment after this. Save your money and find another place to eat. They skimp on most of there toppings. read more

I come here for a quick pho fix that's close to home. Yes there are other better pho spots in Sac, but their version isn't bad. The interior is always clean and the servers are nice and helpful. I like their taro shake and pandan drink, and their dessert selection too. Who doesn't love sweet sticky rice? Good choice if you're in the area. read more

It pains me to write this, but something has to be said, as Pho ABC was once a wonderful business serving a very tasty bowl of Pho. Whether an ownership change, management change, or just plain lack of no longer caring about their business or customers, Pho ABC has declined to the point of irrelevance. Unfortunately for Pho ABC, there is so much competition in Citrus Heights and the surrounding area for a good bowl of Pho that they need to step up their game. Even prior to the pandemic, there have been errors in consistency (taste, portion sizes, etc.), staffing (leave the rude older staff in the back to cook!), and especially cleanliness (please, use your bathroom at home and save the trip to theirs otherwise you may not eat the food!). If Pho ABC does not make changes, and quickly, more one-star reviews will be populating the review sites from patrons and their business may be relegated to a 'former business'. But today, this One Star rating comes because of a serious issue with the staff and Pho ABC's policy... They DENY access to Service Dogs. Seriously, I kid you not. A sign on the door states 'No Animals', yet clearly has a disclaimer of 'except service animals'. The sign even has a graphic of a service dog. I enter Pho ABC on an extremely cold Sunday afternoon (December 18th) with my wife and Service Dog (who's in a vest labeled 'service animal', though this is not a requirement under Federal ADA laws). We are told 'you can't bring a dog in here' and I explain she is a service animal. A very confused look from the hostess/waitress who then tells us we can only sit in the small area where food delivery people are waiting... a small cramped table against a dirty window. I explain we would like to sit in the actual restaurant, away from a window, and not in the waiting area as there is too much comotion. She then converses with a man behind the counter and repeatedly points to us and our service dog. She finally says 'I ask if okay for you to sit' and proceeds to ask another patron 'if we can bring our dog into the restaurant'. I'm thinking, WTH? The restaurant is half-empty restaurant and there are plenty of available tables. I once again explain I do not want to be seated next to a cold window (and leave out the part that these front windows are filthy too). She just stands there and points to the window table. At this point, it is not worth spending my hard-earned money at Pho ABC so I turn around and walk out. No verbal interaction. No scene. No attempt to correct them as to what ADA laws state... I just leave as it's not worth educating them when they clearly do not care to serve all patrons. read more

My family has been ordering from here for years. My brother called ahead to place the order; not only was the person horrendously rude on the phone but he hung up on him! When we picked up the food it was already stone cold. That's not any way to run a business. Management please retrain your staff. read more

This was SOO YUMMY. We came here as a very large group and they quickly put out table together and the service was great. The server never once looked annoyed at the 5 wild children in our group. The pho broth was very good and everything tasted fresh. The only thing that I didn't like was the basil was starting to go bad by they still served it. read more

We ordered via third party delivery and the food was hot upon arrival, but the quality was poor. The Mongolian beef was over cooked, dry, stringy and just terrible. The rice was extremely dry as well (they do not provide sauce). The egg rolls were dry too. Basically everything was overcooked and/or dry. The flavors weren't bad, so just know you're getting a step up from a frozen pf chang's microwaveable rice box. I've had worse, but it's definitely not what you're expecting. read more

Me and my husband ordered two veggie Vietnamese sandwiches. They didn't have it on the menu but they said they can make it. It was a take out. It was the worst sandwich we've ever had. It had four dry peaces of tofu, barely had any shredded carrots and a few cilantro leaves with stems! More stems that leaves! It was dry, flavorless, and just awful to eat! And it was more expensive than any other Vietnamese sandwiches we've ever had. Updating my review. Me and my husband decided to try pho from this place and it's actually really good! Go to pho place to eat pho! So my review goes from one star to four stars. read more

Stopped at this place while visiting family and friends in town, the Bahn Mi sandwich (pork) was amazing!! Flavor was perfect it was super spicy! Also had the fried pork egg rolls that were also delicious, definitely will be eating here again next time I visit! read more

I stopped in on my way home from work because I was craving vegetables and spice and I ordered chicken with vegetables and requested to be extremely spicy and it was completely on point! It's rare that I order it that way at it's served really spicy, even when I request a 10 on the spice meter. This meal it's cooked to perfection and the service was incredible as they answered all of my questions because I don't eat things the way they come, and I customize every time. Great food. Horrible customer service. We ordered 3 noodle soups via delivery service, only 2 were delivered. Charged for 3, but receipt only listed 2. When I called, they made no attempt to offer a reasonable solution. Then put the phone receiver down for 10 minutes before I finally hung up. I understand mistakes happen, I understand there may be language barrier, but not to make any effort to remedy their mistake is pretty unprofessional in any language. Not cool Pho ABC. read more

Vegetable pho not made with vegetable broth. They use majority of cheap vegtable, cabbage, which I don't eat. Their Briggs are too salty or old tasting also. Bob's drinks are half old & hard & half fresh- gross. They aren't sealed- cheap. Not repeatable. read more

I just had a terrible lunch there. I ordered egg rolls and soup. 2 pieces of hair came out from my soup and I called waitress. She just said "we can make new one for you." So i said ok and they brought my second soup. But i found another hair in my soup and i couldn't even eat. I just ask them to bring my check and paid. I didn't ask them anything like take it off or anything because i know they will say "we can make new one for you" again which i wouldn't wanna eat anymore at all. read more

I've been here a couple of times for family functions, and everything was okay. Service is great. I'd give 5 stars for service. Nice, attentive, and even was apologetic when my mother in law wasn't happy with a dish. Nice enough to offer a replacement of her liking. Very impressed. Good size restaurant, pretty clean, good crowd. I just wasn't super impressed with the food. I've had their beef chow fun, their pho, and also the duck noodle soup. Duck noodle soup was good, pho was just okay, beef chow fun was slightly bland. I wouldn't mind returning to try other meals. read more

Great place for pho, bahi mi, smoothie boba or fried asian food. They have a large selection of food and soups. The service is great and they are all very friendly. I tried the mango smoothie and it was real fruit and very delish. Also, ordered the spring rolls and they are great. The small pho bowl is more than enough for 1 person. When we arrived, we were greeted by a server who seemed rushed and seated us quickly at the first available table, which we understood given the timing. The interior was cute, and they even had a small baby piano, which added a nice touch. We ordered salt & pepper wings as an appetizer and each got a bowl of pho. My partner ordered the C1 with brisket and meatballs, and I got the C3 with chicken, brisket, steak, and meatballs. Unfortunately, the food was underwhelming. The wings didn't taste fresh, more like they had been reheated. When our pho arrived, the portions seemed uneven. My partner's bowl had noticeably fewer noodles and limited portions of protein, while mine had much more, so I ended up sharing. The chicken in mine was very dry, and overall, the meats didn't taste fresh. The broth itself was quite bland-good pho usually has a rich flavor even without adding condiments, but my partner had to add quite a bit of soy sauce just to enjoy it. Service was also lacking. After our food was delivered, no one checked on us. We noticed other tables being attended to more frequently, but we couldn't get anyone's attention even when trying to flag down a server who seemed too busy. In the end, my partner had to go up to the register to pay. Unfortunately, based on this experience, we won't be returning.

I complained to the waitress and all she said "oh, I sell sandwiches here so sometime the rubber band that I use to wrap the sandwiches fall into the bowl". No apology from them.
