Very cute ambiance and festive for Christmas time. The space is small but tables location are maximized without feeling cramped. Its well lit, cute lightings and the use of plants of dividers for privacy is great. I got a pho ga (Vietnamese chicken noodle soup) and a bun thit nướng chả giò (vermicelli with grilled pork and egg rolls in fish sauce) and brought them home. The food was still piping hot. Wow - the pho bowl here was exquisite and memorable. The menu is creative with several different versions or take on pho like adding more veggies or wontons, which you don't traditionally see in pho. It was a hit for my husband who was getting over a cold. We came a few days before their 8th anniversary and it seemed their menu specials featured some dishes for the occasion. Parking: free smaller lot but still plenty of space. Service: they have to-go and also dine in. We went on a Wednesday night around dinner time (6pm). There was only two parties in there with us for dine in. A few to go kept coming in and out. They were super attentive and came a few times to bring us more water and check on us. Food: they are marketed for a more "bougie" pho experience. Their house combo pho didn't honestly seem super different compared to a lot of other pho places. Definitely would recommend trying the house combo (but it does have quite a portion of noodles). The portion wise is a little expensive for the price. The food is fine and I had been going here since I started college. However, lately the service has been awful. Once, I had to wait 20 minutes for a server to bring a fork. The next time, while with a large group of people, she asked everyone what they wanted and forgot me and then proceeded to be snarky and said "I just asked if you guys wanted anything else". To start with the pho broth here is rich and flavorful probably one of the better ones I've had in awhile. It's as good as they come!!! Quality of meats and vegetables here is also top notch. I can see why they've been around since 2016! All around flavors were well balanced in the shaking beef, often times it can be too acidic or sweet, here it was rich with umami punctuated by sweetness from the caramelized red onion. Spring rolls were light and the meat was tender with a flavorful marinade that made it very tasty. The ambiance was great especially for a pho place. They have a wall where the written history of pho and Vietnam is shown which was cool to see. A TV with the food journey of an influencer to get you in the mood to enjoy food. Everything was clean and the music was great (flamingo/Spanish guitar) vibes. Service is what suffered here. We had initially gotten a waiter who couldn't answer questions about popular items or favorites which we were quickly (but not smoothly) switched to a more knowledgeable waiter who was more helpful but overall the ladies attitudes seem to reflect minimal care for the dining experience. There was a man who checked in with us. His care was much better, he asked us what we needed and made sure we were enjoying the food. I can see why this restaurant has been around for nearly a decade! Will be hard to continue thriving without training the staff for more attentiveness and care though.
